Rockin’ it Home was a great 5 star read and book three in the Lawson Family series. I love rockstar reads, so I was pulled in right from the beginning, especially knowing that Benjamin looked like Rick Springfield.
Benjamin is living the Rockstar life, he has to stay in line and behave, so much so that he has been given a babysitter. And lets just say he is not happy about it. Danielle is in need of a job, this one isn’t the most ideal but it’s a paycheck. Things get complicated as feelings start to develop between them.
Can these two have more? Will they get a HEA?
Overall this was a great read. I really loved both Benjamin and Danielle. Ben was such a great dad to his daughter. There were some things that were challenging for them, groupies, the past and so much more that added a great element to the story. All of the secondary characters were great, it was nice seeing the characters from the first two books as well. We are left with a teaser and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today on this great series. Each book can be read as stand alones.

A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON was a good 4 star read and book three in the Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance series.
This is a good story about young love between Marielle and Drew. They both have a love for music and Drew helps Marielle see just how talented she is. They fall in love over the summer and when Drew goes home for a few days before going back to college he finds himself in a situation that leaves his father turning his back on him. The only choice that Drew is left with is to join the military.
Marielle and Drew agree to keep in touch while she tours and he is in the service. They have some situations and people that challenge them and try and keep them apart. When Marielle loses all contact with Drew, she’s not sure what to think.
Where is he? Will their love be strong enough to keep them together?
There are a few twists and turns that added a great element to the story. This was a short read that I rated as 4 star only because I felt like some areas were rushed. I would have liked to have seen more from Drews situation with his step-mom and Marielle’s issue with her manager. We jump through time fairly quickly in some areas. Overall it is a great story and I look forward to reading more from Tamara. It’s fun reading a book that mentions cities that are not far from where I live in Wisconsin. I would love to see more from Drew and Marielle. 1-click and get started today.

Out Of The Shadows was an emotional 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
My heart broke right from the beginning with what Dane was going through. Dane is in an abusive relationship and things take a tragic twist and Dane and his son Brady’s lives are turned upside down. Dane was trying to protect his son but now that their secret is out things have changed.
Will Dane get out of his situation before it’s too late?
Overall I really enjoyed this read. My emotions were all over the place. This is a story that had the abuse victim as the husband in the marriage and it really makes you think and realize that this is a reality for some. This author has done a great job of pulling you in with her writing. All of the secondary characters were great. I had a few ugly cry moments as well. I will warn that there may be triggers for some. Brutal & Raw was a great very dark 5 star read and book one in the Beneventi Family. All I can say is this title was perfect for this story, it was brutal and raw and I loved it! I was pulled in right from the beginning.
She was known as 327, they never called them by their names because they didn’t want to humanize them. But there was something about 327 that drew Breaker in, he spent time with her specifically and told her things about the family. Knowing that she was getting too close to him and he was feeling things he shouldn’t Breaker had Butcher do his thing, BUT she got away. She wasn’t supposed to get away and now she knows things that could destroy his family.
Now she’s on the run and afraid he will find her, BUT the name he has isn’t really who she is. Trying to find her is bringing up more questions than answers. The longer it takes to find her the bigger the risk. Who is this woman that has captured his attention? Will Breaker find her before she tells anyone about the family secrets and destroys him?
Overall this is a very dark mafia read that could have big triggers for some. There were some scenes that had me cringing and pushing my boundaries to a new level. I loved hating Breaker but there was a little part of me that felt for the man. He is as dangerous as they come and doesn’t hesitate to show who the boss is. 327 has seen something in Breaker as well, something that was good and called to her. The secondary characters were great. There are several shocking twists and turns. If you like dark reads than this is a MUST READ for you, it’s hard to find authors that are willing to really push the boundaries and Sonya Jesus is one of them. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series.

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story was a great 5 star read.
Gabriella is at her besties birthday party and is surprised when she finds out that Christian was in town for the party. Christian is her bestie’s twin brother and he hates her. These two have never gotten along, even when they were all still in high school. I would say him and his buddies were downright cruel.
They both agree to try and get along while at the celebration. When she has had her fill and decides to head to her hotel room, Gabriella is shocked to see her ex walking into the hotel and in her direction. Christian who is also calling it a night does something that completely blows her away. And it was hot as heck. His action spurs some intense attraction that neither of them can deny and agree to one night.
Can they keep it to one night?
Overall this was a great enemies to lovers read. I really liked Gabriella, Christian and Amy. I had some LOL moments with these two. There are some secrets revealed that added a great element to the story and gave it a great twist. I would love to see more from these two. Forget Nico: Falling for the Wrong Italian was a good 4 star read and book three in The Italian Saga.
This is a young adult read that tells Leda’s story as she grows up. We grow right along with her as she develops into a woman and experiences young love and heartbreak. She has a crush on Nico who never seems to notice her or is sometimes mean to her. She has her friend Alex who wants more with her but she doesn’t have the same feelings for him.
She continues to try and get Nico’s attention. Will she be successful and finally get what she’s wanted for a long time?
Overall I enjoyed this book. I will admit that it was hard for me to get into it in the very beginning, but it got better the further in I got. This book can be read as a stand alone. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. You can’t help but reminisce about your childhood years as you read the book. My emotions were all over the place with Leda’s. Rewind #1: Florian walks in on a shocking scene, his GF in bed with his best friend. She appears to have no remorse whatsoever and blames him for her actions because of his bisexuality. I instantly had a dislike for this woman. I question why he stayed with her as long as he did.
Enzo who is deaf also went through an abusive relationship and was trying to recover from it. When Enzo and Florian reconnect after eight years you can feel the love between them. They were perfect for each other.
As we move forward, the story goes from past to present and we start to get some answers as to why Florian went away and Enzo has some deep scars he’s trying to recover from.
I will warn that there is some emotional abuse that was really sad and hard to read at times. The secondary characters were interesting to say the least, most of them were disappointing to me in the attitudes and comments that would come from them. This was a great read but had my emotions all over the place. If you are an overly sensitive person, some of the abuse/comments in the book may be triggers for you. What’s even more sad is that some of these things are an everyday thing for some people.
Return #2: We get Raphael and Adrien’s story. Raphael is moving to Paris for his studies and needs to find a place to live. When he answers to an ad that Adrien has posted, things take an interesting twist.
Adrien was very quiet at first. As the days go by they get to know each other better and start to have a deep connection. The life that Adrien leads is something else but when Raphael came along things changed for Adrien.
Can Adrien and Raphael have a future together? Will they get the HEA they both deserve?
There are some very interesting elements to this story. I was once again pulled in by Rowan Shaw’s writing. I loved the secondary characters and we get lots of hot and steamy scenes and I enjoyed seeing the characters from Rewind as well.
Revive #3: I really liked Brandon and Patrick and their story. Brandon is a single father who has been struggling with coming out, when he has a one night stand with a hot man things get even harder for him. Brandon gets a very unexpected surprise when he meets his new therapist, Patrick, the one night stand.
Will the chemistry between these two test the patient, doctor boundaries? Can they have more?
Patrick has certain issues with bi men, and when he discovers Brandon is bi can he get past his issues? We also learn why Patrick feels the way he does, which helped me understand his feelings.
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great, I had several LOL moments. I really like the alternating POV, it gives you a chance to see what each of them are thinking.
Rebound #4: Noah was shocked when his boyfriend Hugo broke up with him. They had 10 great years together, so Noah thought. Trying to move forward he turns to Adrien, his best friend. He meets a woman that Adrien knows and starts a very hot and steamy relationship with her.
Can Noah find happiness with her?
Overall I really enjoyed this story, I think it’s my favorite in the series so far. My emotions were all over the place. Noah really tugs at your heartstrings with everything he is going through. All of the secondary characters were great. This is a polyamorous/bisexual romance with M/M, M/F, M/M/M and M/M/M/F. I really like how open each of the characters are sexually, they all connect so well.

Journeys Through SpaceTime was a great 5 star read and book one in the Journey’s Through series. This is my first read from James Talisman and he did a great job with his debut book.
You get pulled right in and get to know all of the different characters. We get different worlds and timelines as well. It took a little bit of time for me to get to know everyone and what was going on, the more I got into the story the more I liked it. Each of the characters are connected in one way, they have a voice that speaks to them and they are each facing some dangerous issues in their worlds. I almost felt like I was reading multiple stories in one book.
Overall this was a good read and it’s amazing the worlds that James came up with and the characters. If you like science fiction you will love this book. All of the characters added a great element to the story and there are some that I would love to see more from. 1-click and get started today.

Broken by Love was a good 4 star read This is a second chance romance and was my first read from this author and I really enjoyed it.
Lexi finds herself in an unexpected and uncomfortable situation. She finds out that her new boss is her ex-fiance and he still has some feelings for her. When she was engaged to JC they were really young and he was constantly cheating on her, than he broke it off with her.
Now she is engaged to Noah and ready for a new start. As the story moves forward Lexi finds herself once again being betrayed. And what will happen when she finds out just how JC feels about her? Will she make the right decisions for herself and get her HEA?
My emotions were all over the place while reading. I wanted to wring a couple of necks and shake some sense into Lexi. While out celebrating after a day in court she gets a phone call from home that changes things for her. A Sun So Bright was a great 5 star read and book three in the Reigning Hearts series.
Its New Years eve and Fiona is at a party with her best friend Petra and her husband. She is the only one alone and finds herself thinking about her father and the one that got away. Petra has set Fiona up in the past which turned out to be a disaster so she refuses to let her do it again. Coming into a lot of money, men are intimidated by her.
Where was her forever when she needed him most?
When she finds a seat in the hotel bar she meets a bartender that happens to recognize her from another evening that she is trying to forget. Chris remembers Fiona and is glad to see her again, she is beautiful. When she invites him back to her place he is surprised, at what Fiona offers him, pretend to be her boyfriend. Needing the money he accepts.
Can they convince everyone they are a couple? Will they be able to keep their hearts out of it?
Overall I really enjoyed this story, both Fiona and Chris have a connection when it comes to their fathers. Fiona is the classic spoiled rich princess, but Chris is exactly what she needed to ground her. There were some twists and turns and emotional moments. Ink’s Devil: Satan’s Devils MC was a great 5 star read and book five in Satan’s Devils MC: Colorado Chapter series. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We start with Ink at a wedding for one of his MC brothers. He meets this really tall woman with blue hair. She gets bold and approaches Ink about having a hot and steamy night together. It was great the way these two went back and forth and felt like they had something to prove to each other in bed. It was a hot and steamy evening for sure.
Beth had her sights on Ink, she showed confidence in her approach and knew what she wanted. It’s not often she finds a hot guy that is taller than her. Ink makes it very clear to Beth that it’s only for one night, but can these two really leave it at that?
Things take a twist with a club party that Beth attends and they end up in bed again. Things get even more interesting when Beth gets a call from her brother. Overall I really enjoyed this read and I loved Ink and Beth. All of the secondary characters were great. Manda Mellett has pulled me in once again with her writing and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Evie is thrown for a loop when the man of her dreams wants marriage. Wyatt and Evie have known each other since they were seventh graders, first loves actually. He needs help and Evie is the only one who can help him.

Set it Free was a great 5 star read and book three in the Fallen Eagles MC series. I was excited to read the next book in the series.
We start with the sisters burying a time capsule. We jump ahead 18 years to see just where all of the girls are in their lives and if they are living their dreams.
This is Spring and Callum’s (Casper) story. Spring is a beautiful, smart, and stubborn as heck woman who had a traumatizing experience that she is still trying to move forward from. She has put up some pretty high walls.
Spring and Casper have been having a casual relationship and enjoy spending time together. There is something about Casper that calls to Spring and at times she finds her walls come down little by little. She also struggles with getting lost in alcohol at times. All Casper wants is to be with Spring and take care of her.
Will she realize before it’s too late just what she has with Casper? Can they have a HEA?
Overall I loved this story. I was pulled right in and I couldn’t put it down until I was done. My emotions were all over the place and I may have ugly cried at one point as well. The Istanbul Conspiracy was a great five star read and book seven in the Code Raven series.
You get pulled in right from the beginning with a big wedding that turns tragic and another one that gets put on hold. When the Raven Group is hired to find out why Yunus and Sude’s wedding turned so tragic things get very interesting.
Why did the President cancel his attendance at the last minute but yet send his security? Will the Raven Group be able to solve the mystery? WIll Luke and Samaar finally get to say their I do’s?
There were several twists and turns throughout the book. I loved the guessing game of who, what and why. We get several POV’s in the book also. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. Lynda Filler has once again pulled me in with her writing and I couldn’t put it down. This is a great series and can be read as a stand alone, however I suggest reading from the beginning.

Naomi was a great 5 star read and book two in the Maggie Trilogy. I suggest reading book one so that you get the history on Naomi and the fact that she can communicate with spirits.
We get pulled in right from the beginning when Naomi has a premonition and is visited by the spirit of someone that was once close to her. It’s not a friendly spirit like Ryan & Maggie, and she is wondering how her fiance will react to this news.
While trying to plan her wedding and finish her next book things keep taking interesting twists and turns and distracting her, especially when Bryce’s ex-wife comes to town.

Petrosky is investigating the death of a councilman’s son. We also meet his new partner, Jackson, who is perfect for him. This seems to be the most challenging case yet for him.
Will he solve the mystery before it’s too late?
My emotions were all over the place. We get suspense, mystery and so much more. These can be read as stand alones but I highly suggest reading from the beginning. It will help you connect better with the characters. Petrosky is great, even after all that he has been through he still has a big heart. All of the characters were great. Meghan has once again brought me into her world with her great writing and I couldn’t put it down until I was done. 1-click and get started today on this great read.

Dawn ends up going with her parents to Florida to take care of her aunts things. While in Florida Dawn decides she wants to stay in Florida and live in her aunt’s house and find out what happened.
As Dawn starts to meet the neighbors things get very interesting. They all seem to have secrets of some sort and so much more. Can Dawn trust any of them? Who is the murderer?

Jax Marlin – To Catch a Marlin was an interesting 4 star read.
This story is set in the future. Pedroni is an officer and is assigned to look for a vigilante (Jax) that has taken things into their own hands when it comes to criminals.
Jax is the vigilante that Pedroni is looking for. But of course she doesn’t see herself that way, she is going after terrible people which stems from something in her past. When they meet, there is an instant connection between them. As Pedroni gets to know Jax he starts to struggle with right and wrong and starts to understand why she is doing what she is. I liked how Jax was leaving things for Pedroni. What will Jax do in the end? Will he let his feelings get in the way?
There is so much more to this great read. I was drawn in by both characters and really loved each of them. Jax is a strong mysterious woman who can take care of herself. Pedroni was great as well. We get suspense, danger, and so much more. The author pulls you right in with her writing and you feel like you’re right there with the characters. All of the secondary characters were great. I will warn that there are some scenes that could cause triggers for some. I look forward to reading more in this series.

The Ash Park Series Box Set (Books 1-3): Famished, Conviction, and Repressed by Meghan O’Flynn was a great 5 star read.
Famished is book one in the Ash Park series. There are so many characters POV’s it took me a bit to get into the book and know who everyone was. Once I was familiar it was easier to follow.
Hannah is hiding, hiding away from someone who is very dangerous. She’s always jumpy and leary of things around her, just when she thought she might be safe her world is flipped upside down. He’s found her.
He watches her, he wants her, and he’s about to get his wish. He’s so close and she doesn’t even know it. What will happen when/if he gets his hands on her?
There is so much more to this read, you will be on the edge of your seat wondering what’s coming next. Each character adds a great element to the story and it seems they have their own little secrets as well. And there is a heck of a twist at the end that will leave you in shock. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I will warn that there are some scenes that may be graphic and triggers for some.
Conviction is book two in the Ash Park series. We start with the prologue where Shannon is in court prosecuting Ashley, a woman who is accused of killing her drug dealer boyfriend. This part is in Ashley’s POV. Did she really do it? What’s going to happen to her baby?
Shannon is proud that she got a conviction in her case, but was she really the killer? Ashley’s lawyer is convinced she didn’t do it and is determined to find the truth. When some leads come in on a case that she thought was closed, things start to take some interesting twists. Shannon also finds herself in danger.
There were so many people that could be guilty my head was spinning and totally not who I thought when we finally get the answer. There were so many great characters, some likable some hateable. My heart went out to Ashley and what she was put through. This was a great edge of your seat read that pulled me right in.
Repressed is book three in the Ash Park series. All I can say is wow, after reading this book, it was disturbing, dark, intense and twisted. Once I started I didn’t want to put it down.
I was excited to get to know Morrison better in this book. He is newly married and a new dad on top of it. He had a serious addiction in his past that has caused some blank spots in his memory. When his family is kidnapped his past comes spiraling back.
Will he be able to save them in time?
This was a fast paced read that twisted me in so many directions. There is so much going on I don’t want to give anything away. The secondary characters add a great element to the story. I have to say I wouldn’t be disappointed if Roger fell off the face of the earth, I did not care for him at all. My emotions were all over the place and I was on the edge of my seat. Meghan does a great job with her writing and all the detail, she pulled me right in. You feel like your right there with the characters. If you love dark suspense this is definitely the book for you. Warning: some scenes are gruesome and could be triggers for some.
