Ale’s Fair in Love and War by Sylvie Stewart – Review by Michelle Collier

Ale's Fair in Love and War (Love on Tap, #1)Ale’s Fair in Love and War by Sylvie Stewart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Such a cute book. Cash and Hollis have nothing in common except her dog grooming shop is next door to his bar. When the prank war between them gets seemingly out of hand, they form a truce to save the bar. They learn a lot during their truce, including how much chemistry is between them. Things aren’t always as they seem and when the truth comes out will they go back to their corners and come out fighting, or will they be able to start anew?

Deadly IntentionsDeadly Intentions by Anise Storm

This author never disappoints! Viviana was on a mission for vengeance for her friend. Nothing would stand in her way. Nazario was on a mission to kill his father, but he would need to stop her from doing before he was ready. She should hate the son of her enemy and she did, but there is a fine line between love and hate. Would they come together or destroy each other?

Echoing Hearts (Book 1 of The Echo Series)Echoing Hearts by C.R. Alam
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Such a beautiful story of two people set in their own way, finding a love beyond their imagination. Dean had a plan for his life that included marriage and family. When he is left at the altar, he walls himself off from being hurt like that again. Rae has her own reasons for avoiding love. These two must find it in themselves to let go of the past to move on to a live worth finding.

The Exchange: A NovelThe Exchange: A Novel by Nadija Mujagic
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow wow wow! The twists and the turns kept me on the edge of my seat. Sam wants nothing more than to follow her dreams (and run from her past). Nothing turns out how she thought it would be. She finds herself in a desperate situation where she must rely only on herself to get free. The tears and heartbreak are real, but who doesn’t love a book that breaks you a little.

Three Made In Heaven (Made In Heaven #1) by Elena Kincaid – Review by Michelle Collier

Three Made in Heaven (Made in Heaven, #1)Three Made in Heaven by Elena Kincaid
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the Made in Heaven series. What a way to start. The characters were very relatable and real. I loved the way the paranormal was brought into this story. The way the characters meet is so unique. Maddie, Cole and Charlie compliment each other so well. The suspense in the book also kept those pages moving. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Shadow (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book Two)Shadow by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Intense! I mean really intense. Shadow/Zoey is dark and troubled on a good day and let’s just say there aren’t many good days in her life. Panther knew the moment he met her that he would make Zoey his someday. Not an easy task after all she has been through. Can she let him in? It is amazing, but make sure you read warnings for this series.

Cry Baby (Pierce Brothers Book 4) by Belinda Williams – Review by Michelle Collier

Cry Baby (Pierce Brothers, #4)Cry Baby by Belinda Williams
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 4th book in the Pierce Brothers series, but the first I have read. Amy is a ray of sunshine and just what is needed to help out her friend’s brother-in-law, who suddenly has a 7 month to look after. Noah is a confirmed, grumpy bachelor. How is he supposed to care for a baby? Amy and Noah need each other more than they realize. Will they understand that before it is too late? This was such a good book. It was light and fun with some deep parts through it to keep you hooked.

Absolution by Anise Storm & Taylor L. Ray – Review by Michelle Collier

AbsolutionAbsolution by Anise Storm
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Spicy, dark, and twisted is what is in store with this book. Dominic was arrested for a crime he didn’t commit but after almost 18 months waiting in jail, he was finally found innocent. He makes a good life for himself in LA with his motivation of getting revenge. Whitney has a gift that she doesn’t really want. When she seeks out Dominic to give him a message from the great beyond, she is the one in for a surprise. She is a dead ringer for the woman he was accused of killing, he wants answers. The spice in this book will definitely keep you warm on a cold winter’s night.

Vaughn's Xena (Dirty Rockhard Series, #1)Vaughn’s Xena by M.I. Rosegold
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the Dirty Rockhard Billionaire series. Definitely not for everyone. If you like a really spicy best friend’s brother trope then you may proceed. Vaughn and Xena are obsessed with each other, yet neither knows the other has those same feelings. Will they given in to the forbidden?

Throwing the Curve (Playing for Keeps Book 2) by Lauren Fraser – Review by Michelle Collier

Throwing the CurveThrowing the Curve by Lauren Fraser
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Swoon! I am not sure that I have fully recovered from this book. I am on that amazing high from reading a book that puts you through all the emotions with twists and turns throughout. This book totally works as a stand alone, but if you are like me you will run out and get the first one as well! Seriously, this book is fake dating at its best. Ryan is a super hot major league pitcher with no use for the baseball groupies that hang around. Peyton finds herself in a situation she never thought she would be. Ryan and Peyton start “dating” to save face and keep the peace for a few weeks. The chemistry pouring off these two is palpable.

Evan (Billionaire Blind Dates Book 2) by Toni Denise – Review by Michelle Collier

Evan (Billionaire Blind Dates #2)Evan by Toni Denise
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the Billionaire Blind Dates series, and it was just as good as the first. I love the connection of this group of friends. They are always there for each other no matter what. Evan has been a silent partner in Kayla’s brain child Blind Dates and now he was on blind dates of his own there. Would he find love? Would Kayla ever tell him how she really feels about him? If all the crazy things that were happening with the restaurant would stop, maybe they could figure it all out. I can’t wait to read the next book!!!!

Talisman (The Talisman, #1)Talisman by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am of Scottish and Irish descent and I found this book so very interesting. The Celtic warriors and the talisman (their woman) they must find before their 28th birthday. Alyssa is studying the ancient Celtic stories for school when she meets Rowan. Can he reach her heart before they are tested by the ancients? The emotion and strength that these characters have fills the pages of this book. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this!

Sharing His Nanny (Forever Our Girl Book 2) by Tori Chase – Review by Michelle Collier

Sharing His Nanny (Forever Our Girl, #2)Sharing His Nanny by Tori Chase
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the Forever Our Girl series but this is the first one for me. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything but I do feel the need to go read more from this series. Stella is a plus size woman wanting to design clothes for people like her so they can feel empowered and beautiful. She runs into a giant snag with her funding for her line and would be homeless if her older step brother didn’t take her in to help with the baby he just found out he had. Charles, along with Alex and Jordan are staying in the house for a month. Stella is someone none of them can resist. And let the spice ensue. I loved this body positive story.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 3rd book in the Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII, but I didn’t even notice so could be a stand alone. A Navy Seal and a belly dancer, how could you go wrong. Cutter and Zarifah are so sweet together. She is trying to get past her abusive fiancé and he is trying to find a nice girl (not a stripper). Can he keep her safe?

Chasing Redemption (Quimby Grove #2)Chasing Redemption by Shannon Nikole
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the Quimby Grove series but the first I read. It was so good. The love just oozed off the page. A chance meeting one night, and then again years later. Marley and Max’s lives are forever entangled after the night they could never forget. Can they find the path to each other, or will they allow others to stand in the way of their love for each other?

Wonderful. Such a heartwarming story. Rhia is so strong and courageous. She will marry the prince she has never met to save her people. Emerys doesn’t know what to expect coming into Lians or what to expect of the girl he would marry. Neither were prepared for the other. Could they find their way into each other’s hearts?

Married Blind (Kings of Screen, #2)Married Blind by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the King of Screen series but the first one I have read. Besides wanting to hit Finn over the head through half the book, I loved it! No seriously Finn and Abi are perfect together even though they fight it for their own reasons. Married for 3 months to a stranger is harder than it seems when they are both fighting the raw chemistry that exists between them. Will they give in or run from each other?

Just wow! The first book in the series was amazing, and this 2nd book is just as good if not better. Dominic is out for blood after the attack on his family by the De Rosa family. Emelia De Rosa is the princess of her family and exactly who Dominic is looking to capture. Once he gets her, he quickly learns that she is more than meets the eye. Emelia is a force all her own. Which side will come out on top and will they be able to deny the attraction they feel for the enemy? I love love love Emelia! My favorite character in a book filled with great characters.

When Lily moves to Montana from London to take over her father’s store after he has passed, the first person she meets is Jake. These two seem to have an undeniable chemistry but also seem to push all the buttons from the past. Can she move past her fears that he will abandon her? Can he prove to her that she is all he wants? I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I just want to visit Bluestone again and again.

Taming Beckett (The Playmakers, #1)Taming Beckett by G.K. Brady
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

On the surface this book is your typical bad boy romance, but really it is just so much more. Paige has the life she wanted until she found out her husband was cheating on her. Beckett is spiraling out of control. A chance meeting with someone from their past is just what the doctor ordered for these two. Can he help her let go of the past? Can she help him find his path? I loved this story so much. I felt like I really felt the characters. I will definitely be reading the next in this series.

I just loved this story. Sienna and Conner are not the couple you think would work but the chemistry is off the charts. She is the sheltered golden girl and he is the typical bad boy. I just couldn’t help but love these two and route for them to make it. The ski lodge setting was just perfect too!

This book was just so much fun. Tenley and Teagan are just perfect. I love how they banter back and forth, both not entirely wrong in their thinking. Yet they both need to be open to the other. All the characters were just so engaging. The title totally gave me a laugh. I will definitely be adding this author to my list to read.

So this is the first book I have read in this series. I don’t feel like I was missing anything. I do believe I will need to go read the first 4 books though! Adrik and Annika’s story is wonderful. It has everything you could want; suspense, twists and turns, love that sees past what is on the outside. Is their love enough though to see them through the traumas they have both endured in their lives?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Not the first book I have read by this author and not the last I promise. I was completely lost in the world of this book. I felt very connected to the story. Katarina is so innocent and so tempting to Chance. He is her boss but he is so much more than that. Is she strong enough and willing to accept what she wants?

Tink (Devil's Handmaidens MC-Book One)Tink by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What is better than a great MC book? Well an all girls MC of course. The women in the Devil’s Handmaidens are strong and determined to wipe out human trafficking. Maggie/Tink is the president and on a mission that is way more personal then anyone knows. Ellington/Noodles has relocated to Montana and has definitely met his match in Tink. Can they work together to solve the strange things going on that seem to point to the past that is still haunting so many. This book is pretty intense so be warned if you are easily triggered.

Enemies to lovers, fake boyfriend, motorcycle club, drama, suspense and so much more. My favorite part is how real all the characters are and how they have to deal with overcoming stumbling blocks and preconceived notions.

This series has been great from the beginning, but it really does just keep getting better. Book 5 of the Master of the Consulate series picks up right after the last book. Master Catteneo is not looking for love and definitely not with a human. Alessia is a human but gifted. He doesn’t know what hit him when he meets her. Can she help them find their queen? Can she be trusted? I can’t wait to jump into book 6!
