This is the first book in the Freemasons series. I absolutely love the premise of the book and the series. This book features a couple that has suffered a tragedy and their relationship has taken the toll. They agree to work together one last time as a chance to start to see things through the others eyes. As they are working together we are introduced to Cole and his friends. They work for the freemasons. However the goings on about the Lodge are merely mentioned in this book. I hope that in future books we will learn more about Cole and his friends. Ava is his wife who is ready to thrown in the towel on their marriage. I have to say I truly loved seeing them as a couple who were working through things that many marriages go through. They seemed so relatable, especially that communication (or a lack there of) has been the root of their problems. I had my self rooting for a HEA throughout this entire book. If this book is any indication of the rest of the series I know that these books are going to each be amazing!

This is the fourth book in the Freemason’s series and it delivers on what Nicole Flockton built with the previous three books. This book can definitely be read by itself (as a standalone), however, I truly recommend reading all of this series. If for no other reason than to see what the series is about and get to experience these truly wonderful characters. This book comes with a trigger warning and it definitely should not be ignored. Renee is one of the strongest characters I have ever read. She has been through so much in her life and she never imagined that she would find love. She was abducted and forced to work in a sex trafficking ring. Her brother is Jude and Jude’s best friend is Declan. When Renee goes missing from the rehab facility she is at Declan will stop at nothing to get her back. But before she does he has to decide if she was taken or if she has chosen to leave. This book does a great job tying together the other books in the series. I absolutely loved this and recommend it!

This is a quick and easy read, the best kind of book for a lazy afternoon. I enjoyed reading about Juliet. She has more of an interesting development than I expected from the description. At times I did struggle with Jim a little. I thought he was harder to connect with but once I did I rnjoyed what his character did with the story. This is a author to me and I think she did a good job of creating a second chance romance. I wish there had been a little more detail to the story at times.but overall this is a well written and enjoyable book.

Poetry isn’t something I typically read but something about this book caught my eye and I just had to give it a go. I really enjoyed reading the different poems in this book. Each were distinctive and I thought they were all interesting. I liked that I was able to read one and then come back to the book. I found myself reading the poems during spare pockets of time. I thought the author has done an amazing job at creating a vivid image with each individual poem. They elicited emotion and they left me thinking. This is a great collection.

I truly love all the books Nicole Flockton has written thus far and this book is no exception. I love the Freemasons series because it gives me everything that I am looking for in a book – amazing characters who are incredibly relatable and a plot that sucks you in and leaves you wanting more (in the very best way possible). The Hunter delivers on all these fronts. Gemma is everything I want in a main character – she has a problem she needs to solve and she is going to find love while she is at it. In this story she meets Dominic who is the head of the freemasons’ lodge and completely headstrong and domineering. The only problem is that Gemma is the same. This book had the perfect pull between two people who are falling for each other but know they shouldn’t be. Their chemistry just sizzles. I definitely recommend reading this book!

I was pulled into this book right from the start. The narrator, Catherine, is English and talking to her dead daughter as though she can hear her mother. Catherine searches for the truth about her daughter Susie’s death a year prior. This book has a unique structure to let the reader view different scenarios to explain Susie’s tragic death. The reader needs to ask whether each scenario likely would have happened and question what really is the truth about that night. Collins skillfully written prose, will have you on the edge of your seat asking the same questions Catherine does and the ending takes you by surprise!

Wow this author brings another fantastic book!! I love the Satan’s Devils MC books and loved the first two books in the MC Las Vegas…and this book brings me Rose and Petty. At first, I was not a fan at all of Petty….but as I turn each page my mind changed.
Rose has a crazy ex that turns to stalker mode and needs protection and ends up under the protection of the Satan’s Devils and Petty himself. At first, wow, Petty was a jerk!! But as Rose peels back the layers to Petty there is something more….but when a past comes back that Petty has been hiding from will Rose be there for Petty and in turn can Petty continue to protect Rose from her crazed ex?
This book was tense!! Action, drama and sizzle coming together in one emotional roller coaster of a ride story!! I loved this book and I am looking forward to the next!!!

I am never disappointed by this author. After reading the first two books in this series, I was excited to read the third and picked it up immediately. I will be honest though, if I knew that this book was about Petty after reading the first and second book, I would not have picked it up. But, I am beyond glad that I did.
Trigger warning: there is sexual assault and abuse in this novel. What I like about this book is that it focuses on a man being abused, rather than a woman being abused. The more male abuse is discussed, the more normal the conversation becomes and the more likely men are to come forward. There is and probably always will be a stigma about men coming forward when it comes to abuse and/or rape, but the more we talk openly about it, the less stigmatized it becomes.
If you are able to read this novel, I highly recommend it. The author is amazing at creating great characters and plot lines. I will always pick up a book by this author, regardless of who the characters are. They say to never judge a book by its cover, well, I should never judge a character by their persona. I ended up loving Petty by the end of this novel. You won’t be disappointed if you decide to give this a read!

This book was extremely cute! I had no idea what to expect with this animal family but I enjoyed the illustrations a lot. This story helps me to understand what goes on in the minds of adopted children! I could only imagine that it’s not too far off from how I felt whenever I got myself into trouble with my mom! I love the imagination of Oliver because its super realistic! This is a great book for adoptive parents even for and the children so they they know are not alone!

The Kidnapping by Linda Burson. This is such a funny romantic suspense read. Its the story of Jenna and Andy. When Jenna meets Andy in a local bar they hit it off and soon a romance sparks. Jenna has not had good luck with guys because she has money and that’s usually all they want. Her last boyfriend wanted her to put his name on her bank account but thank God the red flags flew and she didn’t. Things with Andy are going pretty good and then someone leaves a envelope full of money and the instructions to kidnap someone. Andy tries to track the person down to tell them they have the wrong person but he can’t find them. What happens next is a crazy, fast paced thriller. This book will make you laugh, be scared and flip pages way in the night. I love this author and always enjoy her work!

Trudy is a force of nature herself, having been brought into the fold researching the child killer previously, she seems to be hooked and overly invested in the case brought to her when a gas explosion levels houses and not only does she need to do her best for the recently deceased but bones from multiple bodies (including that of a baby) are uncovered.<br />She brings in Forensic Anthropologist Ben Roberts to deal with the bones as this is outside her remit, although she suspects foul play. To be honest, I was drawn to this little story by the cover of the book. I have a heart for gnomes. Bob moves to a new town and gets his first job – writing stories for the local newspaper. What he doesn’t expect is that his first story (a bigfoot sighting) was not what his boss really wanted. Bob finds himself out of work. But what happens next is about to change his world! A guy at the diner asks Bob if he will track down the culprit who has stolen a gnome. Once he starts being a detective, he finds out more about this charming little town then was evident. This was a very quick, fun read.
Thank you so much for putting a trigger warning at the beginning of the book! Enzo and Candi. I read the first book and this one is just as good and can be a stand alone but I love that they are linked and you still get some of Nicco and Des. I was able to relate to this book in Candi’s shoes. I lost my partner about 6 months ago. The questions that she asks herself and her bestfriend are valid and questions I still ask myself but I don’t know the answer. This book gave me a different point of view and I am appreciative of that. I can’t imagine Enzo’s confusion and pain knowing how he’s survived. I love, love, the epilogues. Here are a couple of my quote take aways that stood out:

This is the third book in this series that I have read and boy I was not let down. I have really smitten with this author’s MC series. Good story filled with array of likable characters. It has a nice easy flow so it moves along quickly. At first it seems like any other story but once we get to know the townies…things change. The characters all have secrets that slowly come out as the story moves along. It was neat how they all just led normal lives but OH they have this other side…no big deal. I do like that the characters names kind of reflect what they are..very neat.
This is a nice paranormal mystery book. Its a first time author for me. I enjoyed the idea and the concept. The mystery intrigued me and the paranormals kept me coming back.
This is the third book in this mystery series based on ancient Egypt. As a lover of historical fiction, I have become very enthralled with this series. This book reminded me of “Murder on the Nile” in some ways, but with more historical accuracy. I love her diligence of the excavation sites, artifacts and material remains to help not only solve the mystery but provide you with the knowledge of that era. I must also mention that her maps and “Glossary of Gods” she includes helps to know who and what she is describing. I was never familiar with the Egyptian Gods so that was a nice learning tool. If you are a fan of historical mysteries, please check out this book and the rest of her series. I think you will thoroughly enjoy them.

So let me just start off by saying, I went into reading this book after reading the 3rd book of the series and was not disappointed at all! Catherine Peace definitely writes in a genre of her own, and it is different, but it is a great different though! I can honestly say that this is the second book that I have read that Catherine Peace has written, and I have not been disappointed either time, I really enjoyed reading Ember’s Secret! The storyline revolves around two lonely souls that are drawn to one another. Austin, considered a failure in his father’s eyes, has a great love and a passion for food. He seems to have darkness looming over him but he’s just the light this story needed. His character development throughout the story was beautifully described. After learning about Austin, we are then introduced to Ember, who has been living in fear, after her mother was killed when she was a child. And her life of fear hasn’t been easy, because of her shape shifting secret she holds dear. Ember’s character really develops throughout the novel. Austin happens to stumble across Ember’s empty restaurant with phenomenal food because his car troubles landed him there. He sees something within Ember and wants to give her everything! Ember is hesitant as first, but it doesn’t take long for her to jump on board and let’s Austin and his team lead the way. As Austin and Ember grow closer, they have multiple obstacles that keep getting in their way!

Order of the Vespers is a well written urban fantasy. Jasper Andrews is a teenager who has a gift she cannot control. Now she’s on the run for a crime she didn’t commit. Ms. Reyes has written a strong character and a wonderful story. This book had me hooked page after page routing for Jasper to overcome her fears and find trust and friendship within this new life. I enjoyed reading this book and I know you will as well.

This is the fourth book in The Freemasons series. I loved this just as much if not more than the previous books in the series. I do highly recommend reading the books in order so that you understand all the characters and their stories which have lead them to where they are now. The author does an amazing job of capturing the characters and I loved Declan who is so protective and caring towards Renee while at the same time being powerful and strong when it comes to protecting her. Renee herself is very damaged because of the trauma she has gone through. My heart broke for her as she struggles with returning to normal life but I was equally amazing by her strength and courage to trust and love again.
Renee has finally been saved and rescued from the people who kidnapped her. Now she has the hard task of getting through the trauma and returning to her free life. But this is no easy task but she hopes she can get there with the help of her family and Declan. Renee has always had feels for Declan but now she knows he would never want her. Who would want someone so damaged and broken?
Declan is so thankfully to have Renee back safe. After fearing he had lost her forever he he grateful she has been found and will stop at nothing to help her recover. Even if that means denying his feelings and wants towards her and just focusing on helping her recover. He wants to do anything it takes to stay in her life and doesn’t want to scare her away.
Declans main goal is to protect her from any harm happening to her again. So when the people who kidnapped and harmed her before come back Declan is determined to make them disappear for good.
Can Declan protect Renee? Will he ever be honest with her about his feelings towards her or will Renee carry on thinking she is damaged and that no one will love her?

This was a quick read. Julie is stubborn and set in her ways. Jim is a “good ol boy” trying to be more refined. This story has a few different tropes age-gape, student/teacher and second chance. If you are looking for a quick entertaining read then give this a try.

Could you get any sweeter with this story? Enzo and Candi are both dealing with losses that affect their relationships. Can these two flirty lovebirds let their walls down and take a chance on new love? Oh my goodness, this is one of my favorite romances this year. The flirty chemistry, the sparks that fly from these two; I can almost picture fluorescent lights zinging back and forth. In fact, as I was reading, I kept thinking that maybe Candi need to realized that she will again “zing.” (quoting Hotel Transylvania). I loved the romance, the drama, the reality of it. They dealt with real relationship issues. They shared family issues. The story was very well written. I loved all the characters. The last couple of chapters were my absolute favorites. (I cannot wait for the next book). One of my favorite authors. You must read this.

A cute story about sibling rivalry. They can’t agree on what to do but they can agree to disagree. I found this story entertaining. It actually helped start a conversation with my grandchildren about playing nice with their brothers and sisters. Many giggles were had over the sandcastle wars. Another winner with this family. This book was a deep read for me. Realistic, and truly felt everything. As I am someone who struggles with my own demons and mental health every day, this book really pulled me in. Tears certainly fell.
The book was moving. The love between Phoebe and Kenzo was true and real. I felt a lot for Phoebe and how she was brought up. But with Kenzo by her side, it made life happier none the less. I related to Kenzo as well. Both had issues, and battles, in different forms. Being together, not only made things easier, but stronger together. To me the writing was beautiful, enjoyed the writing and the setting as well. I was deeply pulled in and mesmerized all the way through. It was very much at times, but it made it the joy it was. The emotions and the love you feel, go hand hand in hand, and make you see the beauty of the story.
This is a book I will continue to highly recommend to others. Even if you did not have a difficult upbringing, you can reward yourself, by understanding by those that didn’t. Defiantly a must read book and author!

This is one of the oddest books I’ve read. It started like a mom that couldn’t accept her daughter’s death. As the story unfolded, more possibilities came to light (there are 10 in all.) I can’t tell you much about the story, you’ll have to read it for yourself. It is also one of the best stories I’ve ever read. You are led to think about what you are reading. I found the characters to be very interesting. There are several POV and this makes for a well rounded look at what could have happened to her and why she did what she did. The book is pretty powerful too. I found myself feeling some big emotions. I recommend this for those who can handle it. I also give a trigger warning!

I absolutely loved this book and the characters that it contained. It was written with so much intelligence, and quirky moments, that everything I read came together so well! It was impossible not to love this book!
As I am a huge literature fan, of course the character Juliet, spoke to me, Love Jim and his own personality and what it brought to the table! Their interactions were full of heat and chemistry, yes. But, as well sweet and heart felt moments. I laughed so much throughout the book. Their relationship on what it started and how it grew, really made it realistic. The writing skills of the author were very enchanting in the sense as well as they knew how to keep you interested and engaged! I very much loved this book!
This was a wonderful read, funny sweet, and a light read. I could not put it down once I began, as I wanted to keep on reading and see what would develop next! Highly recommend this must read book!

This is the fourth book in this series which is just as great as the first three. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I enjoy her writing skills as well as her attention to details that make her stories come to life. This is one of my favorite yet in this series. This is a well written story about Declan and his bestfriends sister, Renee. Will Declan be able to keep her safe when the person who abducted her returns? I enjoyed reading this suspenseful romance story. It is fast paced and hard to put down. A story that has characters that will pop off the pages and into your heart. They have great growth and chemistry from the start. They pull you into their story which makes the story easy to read. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. This is a well written story that is full of secrets and a fight for survival. Author made the story come to life using details to give it a realistic feel. The characters are engaging and Emma made such a great character. I enjoyed her character and her growth throughout. She truly made the story for me. This is a fast paced story that has twists and turns that had me turning pages fast. A hard to put down story that I highly recommend.

Dia Ngata is a young woman in hiding, she spends her life in disguise and has been hunted because of who she is for most of her life, she is a swan shifter and ever since her tribe was slaughtered overnight, she has been running from hunters and from her past. Carver Kano is a dingo shifter who has had a challenging past and a life full of regrets, but he is trying desperately to make up for them with the choices he is making now, his biggest regret is his hand in the destruction of Dia’s tribe all those years ago.
Despite all of this, Dia spends her time helping others survive against the odds, just like her, so when disaster strikes and Dia is forced to run until she can run on more and passes out in the middle of an unknown forest, however, when she wakes up, she is no longer there, instead, she is in a bed with a soft voice asking her how she is feeling. This puts Dia on edge immediately, she is not used to being looked after and is suspicious of it all, especially when she is told she cannot leave, this send her into a panic and she does everything she can to escape, albeit unsuccessfully.
While all this is happening, Kano is working on a new story as a journalist specialising in warzones and he is after his biggest prize yet, in the past he has used this job to take down the worst of the worst out there and for the most part he is successful, but on the road to his next destination, Kano comes a scene of destruction and immediately goes to help, but he is distracted when he smells Dia and he immediately goes after her, however, he finds more than he bargains for when he is captured and put in a cage.
As Dia accepts her captivity, she sees another captive and realises that it is her old flame Kano, she doesn’t know how to react and honestly, neither does he, but as they find out more about this colony’s history, they become a part of the bat shifters camp life and they find it somewhere they want to help, especially Milos, who wriggles into their hearts. One say they are confronted by danger yet again when someone from Kano’s past turns up and threatens the bats they have become close to, but can Dia, Kano and Milos work together to save the colony from this latest danger and keep themselves safe throughout this difficult task? This is a fantasy adventure where nothing is as it seems and secrets and lies seem to be a way of life which will keep you reading on until you find out what happens in the end.
