There are seven different books within this one purchase. The books do not tie together in any way other than being about Christmas and the magic of finding love at that time of year. If you are an animal lover, someone who has recently lost a loved one (even if it is due to unfaithfulness) or just someone looking for a Hallmark movie type of read, there is something here for you. Just remember not everything is as it seems, especially people.

This book messed me right up. First of all Tanner and Pippa were incredibly well written characters. I could NOT get enough. The plot was straight genius and it was just the perfect balance of steam, suspense, thrill, and sadness. I couldn’t recommend enough. I don’t think I have ever read a book by the author but she has a new customer in me because O M G. I loved, I Love You Today! I actually enjoyed it more than book 1 in this series. The author takes the reader on another rollercoaster involving one of the Templeton twins. Austin is lost. The woman he loves is marrying his twin brother. How does one get over heartbreak? Not just heartbreak though, he could lose his best friend too because of his actions. Not that Mavis helped one bit. What she did made me not care much for her and what she does throughout this book made me really dislike her. Despite Austin’s past transgressions I feel like nobody is giving him the benefit of the doubt. Everything always comes back to Mavis. Casey just lost her roommate and best friend to the west coast. Seeing a hurting kindred spirit in Austin helps him get away from the awkward, of his twin brother and his new fiancée. Despite her insecurities she goes to bat for Austin on multiple occasions against Mavis. Mavis warns her to stay away, which I feel like she’s being selfish after stringing him along. But what happens when Casy can’t stay away? Is Austin into her or is she just a rebound? Has Mavis gotten into her head? One trip to a Cubs game changes everything for these two. The character development for both Casey and Austin is leaps and bounds ahead of book 1. Which is what makes me love Austin’s redemption story that much more. It’s sort of a redemption story for Casey too but in a different light. If you’re stumbling upon this review without having read any of the books in this series, I encourage you to read book 1 first. They go together like two peas in a pod. If you’ve read book 1, what are you reading this for? Why aren’t you already jumping into book 2?

This was a very interesting story! The legend in the beginning was a beautiful way to set up the actual storyline. The details and descriptions in the setting were truly captivating, painting a picture in my mind as I read through. It was almost as if I was watching a movie, reading through each chapter and getting to know the characters. Truly seeing how Kit was thinking, whether it was about Tam, his fate, or what was happening in his hometown, was really eye opening. The alternating points of view was also fun to see, the way each character is different but complements the others they are around or discuss. I also love the premise of time travel, and the way the author uses it in this book is simply stunning and absolutely worth the read!

This is book 2 in this series and picks up after the debut, and I highly recommend reading book 1 to get the story that leads up to this book….as we are seeing the aftermath of a rekindled love between Josh and Mavis but leaves Josh’s brother, Austin, hurt.
How do you pick up the broken pieces after your heart is shattered….knowing you did love someone once upon a time? That is what happens to Austin Templeton. Josh and Mavis get their happily ever after, but where does that leave Austin. When Mavis moves out of her apartment in Chicago to be with Josh, this also leaves Mavis’ roommate and best friend, Casey as well. This story is so good!!! I love Austin and I absolutely adored Casey so much, she is definitely my favorite. This book brought out some past secrets, love and forgiveness. I loved this book so much and cannot wait until book 3!!

I absolutely loved the first book in the series. So when I found the second book I knew right away I needed to read it. This one was as heart felt with every single emotion possible as well. The book has sweetness, heartache, love and so much more that you feel like you’re on an emotional roller coaster. The characters are realistic and make it so easy to feel their emotions. The plot ebbed and flowed perfectly and other story as a whole left me wanting more.

While this is book five it can easily be read as a stand-alone without any confusion but I do recommend the others in the series also. I’ve come to love this authors writing style as it’s well written and and paced nicely. The characters pull you into their stories and you can connect with them. The storyline is a smooth written and touching storyline. I found myself on a bit of an emotional roller coaster ride more than once. The author knows how to tale readers on quite the adventure with the characters and story that’s being told. I’m giving this story a four star review and recommend it and this author.

Another intriguing read! The author continues this series with another page-turning, romantic suspense. Though part of series, this could easily be read as a standalone.
I enjoyed the characters and both their individual development, as well as development of their relationship. This story was also unique in that the main characters are a medical examiner and an anthropologist, which made the story a bit quirky and different from other crime/suspense reads. The author has proven herself as a master of character development; her characters easily come through the pages of the story and feel relatable and real! Trudy and Ben make an intriguing team with palpable tension and attraction, though they often have differing views and opinions.
This story really had it all, but I just loved the characters (if you couldn’t tell). The mystery keeps you the reader engaged, as well as suspense and danger ever-present. Definitely recommend picking this one up (as well as the rest of the series).

I really enjoyed this book and that it had the same feel as the Notebook Diaries. Following Lottie, Tim and Dora’s daughter, we learn that she has grown into a fiercely independent woman just like her Aunt Emma. I liked that there was a mystery to be solved and Lottie aimed to seek justice for all. Lottie isn’t afraid to have her true self known and grows into string woman. I think it sends a great message to all to not be afraid of who you are. Finally, the ending was another great shock that I did not see coming but brought everything together fantastically.
This is literally one of my very favorite series I have ever read! It is by far my favorite series of the year, and that is quite a big accomplishment in my eyes. Sometimes it is difficult to get back in the feel for the next book in the series, but Kay L. Moody pulled it off flawlessly.
Chloe is still in Faerie trying to help fae win the war against the mortals. She believes she is fighting on the right side of this war, but after finding out why mortals want Faerie, she has a harder and harder time staying on that side. She is split down the middle between her own kind and the kind that she loves.
I have zero qualms recommending this to everyone! You will want to pick up the first book in the series, Flame & Crystal Thorns, to get the best background and feel for the story. I am clamoring for the third book and wondering how I’m going to make it all the way until release day!

Misfortune of Song by Christy Nicholas is the fifth book in the Druid’s Brooch Series. This book can be read as a standalone and understood completely and enjoyed. This book is set in 12th century Ireland. Maelan is the head of his family and must look after them and assure that they make the best decisions. His granddaughter Orlagh is determined to not follow him and makes his life chaos. Can he keep everything together and protect his granddaughter? This is my second read in this series and I am hooked. I enjoy both genres of historical and fantasy and this incorporates both well. The characters are well written and challenged in their lives. I can not help but get emotional at some of the things the author puts them through. I like the story and how it intertwines with the other books but is not essential to have the other stories to enjoy the individual book. I look forward to reading more in this series.

“I loved you yesterday, Princess. But today..” my gosh this book! I loved the first book but THIS book?! EVEN BETTER! Love the writing so much! Huge page turner for me and I finished this in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. I wasn’t sure what to think of Austin in the first book but I absolutely ADORE him in this book. Him and Casey are simply perfect!!! He thought he knew what love was..he really did. But he didn’t figure out the true meaning until he fell for Casey girl 😍 the way he is towards her, the way he lifts her up, the way he sincerely BELIEVES in her…is so heartwarming. But the way Casey BELIEVES in Austin is just as amazing. I love Casey! She’s my favorite in the books, as well as Lauren! But Austin and Casey have some important choices to make. Each story, while having its own plot, has amazing character development and storylines. If you want something to kick start the holiday season this collection is definitely worth the read!

What fun! This novel really revolves around the basis that sometimes things aren’t as they seem, and though you feel and believe in one thing, this doesn’t mean that you are right. Nor does it mean you are wrong. Truly, I felt as though the author was trying to nail down the point that you don’t have to let go of your beliefs just to take on part of someone or something else’s. You just need to believe in yourself and what you have within you to take on the world. At least, that’s this readers take.
Ultimately, I really did enjoy the authors writing style, the descriptive way it was presented as well as our main character, Wilf and those that he comes into contact with shortly after a devastating loss. For so long he felt stuck under the feet of family members, and all of a sudden, he isn’t so much anymore. But that’s when things start to really get interesting. Honestly, I read this novel fairly quickly, and I really want to reread it again and take my time to fully immerse myself. Potentially will be back to right a more in depth review but very much look forward to more of this series and author’s work! On my To Read list for sure!

This is a short but very comprehensive paranormal mystery. I enjoyed the many twists and turns and the character development. This is my first book by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although it is a quick read it is definitely worth it. Bob is an out of work journalist who is trying to solve the mystery of the missing Gnome. What he goes through will have you laughing out loud and thoroughly enjoying all the intricacies of the mystery.
Chloe is a strong-willed apothecary hiding from the fae after a traumatic event in the Faerie realm when Quintas, a fae from her past, tracks her down in need of help. Faerie is under attack, and only Chloe has the creation magic possible to help stop the mortals from taking over the realm, hurting her own village townsfolk and family as well. She’s stubborn, smart, and tries her best to not give up when it comes to saving her loved ones. She may not be the strongest or toughest of heroines, but she certainly continues to do her very best. Plus there’s a sequel to this story too, so we can stay in this magical world Kay L. Moody created.

I love that the Devil’s Handmaidens MC is a multi-author world focusing on an all-badass female MC with various chapters and locations and glad that DM is a part of it.
Tink is told by DM Earl and is a story full of emotions, pain and sorrow, heartbreak and tormented souls. But for all that, these girls know how to kicka*$e. They will stop at nothing to stop those involved with the inhuman world of trafficking.
She is overwhelmed and has the weight of the world on her shoulders. He is looking for a fresh start and a certain fiery leader of an MC has caught his eye. Will her past keep them apart or will it bring them closer together?
What happens when the angel of death finally catches up to you? Will he be able to keep her safe.
There is plenty of tension and danger, angst and heartache, emotions and drama, hope and fear that kept me completely invested and wanting more.
I love DM’s work and I am gunning to read the other books by the authors involved.

I absolutely loved the first book in the series. This one was as heart felt with every single emotion possible as well. The book has sweetness, heartache, love and the whole 9 yards. It was an amazing read!
I loved how this one took off where the previous book did. The ending of the first book brought a lot of feelings for me, so this one continues, really helped those feelings, and allowed new feelings to come to light. I was rooting all the way through for Austin and Casey. For me Austin was held dear to my heart (if you read the first book you get what I mean) Their story was sweet, yet facing dilemmas and that was very realistic to me. I loved Casey, (to be a bit selfish, I grew up in Chicago and greatly love my Wrigley field and the Cubs!) She was perfect for Austin, and she truly had the power to heal the past, Their story was beautiful yet stormy weather can come without notice. You make it through the storm together always. I was hooked. The story lines that came to light, loose ends that got tied, and common happiness and ground that was found. I very much am looking forward to the next book in the series. It was an emotional ride, in a good way! It was very much impossible not to love the characters, the story, and the author’s writing!
If you have not read the previous book, do it. It gives great back story of characters and emotions. This book really took my breath away. I simply loved it from start to finish! Amazing read and series!

I Love You Today is the exciting sequel in this delightful contemporary romance The Trading Hearts Trilogy. It I just as raw and emotional as the first book and I am glad that I didn’t have to wait too long between books.
This sweet steamy, passionate tale is wonderfully written. The characters are masterfully written and make your heart flutter. Just like the first book this tale is complex yet beautifully woven together to give the reader a heart melting story that will stay with them.
I am trying to be patient and wait for the conclusion of this Trilogy if it is like the first two it will be explosive.

This book is full of magic, love, danger, action, and adventure. This book can be read as a standalone but I’m sure as soon as you read it you will want to dive right into the other books in this series. In this story we read about Maelan and his granddaughter Orlagh. Maelan just wants to protect Orlagh and get her to make the choices that he feels is best for her. Orlagh is a bit spirited and some of the choices she makes has great consequences which leaves Maelan having to make some difficult decisions in order to keep her safe. Will he succeed? This is a must read if you want to find out what happens in this wonderfully told story. The author does an exceptional job making this story come to life with her rich details and the way she weaves the story draws you in and keeps you entertained and turning pages to find out what’s going to happen next. I highly recommend this great story.
