This is literally one of my very favorite series I have ever read! It is by far my favorite series of the year, and that is quite a big accomplishment in my eyes. Sometimes it is difficult to get back in the feel for the next book in the series, but Kay L. Moody pulled it off flawlessly.

Chloe is still in Faerie trying to help fae win the war against the mortals. She believes she is fighting on the right side of this war, but after finding out why mortals want Faerie, she has a harder and harder time staying on that side. She is split down the middle between her own kind and the kind that she loves.

I have zero qualms recommending this to everyone! You will want to pick up the first book in the series, Flame & Crystal Thorns, to get the best background and feel for the story. I am clamoring for the third book and wondering how I’m going to make it all the way until release day!
