Love’s Reverie: A Time Travel Romance by KG Fletcher is the second book in the Stardust Duet.you definitely have to read these books in order. For me this book was even better than the first. I was pulled straight back into Kat and Phillip’s strange but compelling journey. It was fascinating to watch them navigate the different times as they did. Their love story was so heartwarming to watch develop across the Duet. This author always knows how to create such an effortless romance and this series has been just that. I have loved every moment of reading it and I am already planning to go back and read it again. I would highly recommend this series, and anything this author has written.

There were so many things I enjoyed about this book. It had quite a bit of humor in it. Which I love! I enjoy great friendships in stories. This one had Breckin and the girls and also Griff and Wyatt all had great relationships. Animals! Haha I love a story that incorporates animals. Romance…well that’s a given. It’s been a while since I read an Ashlie Knapp book and I forgot how entertaining they are. I enjoy reading about and getting to know her characters and the writing is so smooth. Sometimes I have to wonder where she comes up with the stuff her characters do in the books. (Mema??) She is pretty imaginative!
I have not read the first book in this series. It has been on my TBR list so I will be moving it to the top. Because now I am all interested in how Wyatt and Annie got together! I bet there is a great story there! PS..I love the cover! It’s very different from others out on the market! Eye-catching!

Y’all. Manda Mellett can do no wrong. I’m telling y’all that. Every book I have read by them has allows evoked an emotional reaction and this one was no different. It’s gripping, emotional, and written so well that you can’t help but want the very best for Red. The worst part for me is that it’s a part one of two! But that’s also the best part so I can’t really complain TOO MUCH. 😉 I was excited to get to Red’s story after meeting him in Turning Wheels 👀 I am eager for his next book and I just know it’ll be a great one. Check this out y’all. It’s a good one. 💖

This is book two in this series by this amazing author. I loved the first book so much I hated when it was over so to say I was beyond excited to get my hands on this book is an understatement. And once again, I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! In fact, I thought I loved the first book and that it couldn’t get any better but gosh was I wrong. I love how these stories take you on a journey into another place and time through her storytelling as well as her music. These characters are amazing, even though there are a couple that are somewhat annoying, but she has such an inspiring way of writing their stories that you root for the annoying ones just as much. I highly recommend that you pick up a copy of this book. You won’t be disappointed.

Snowflakes and Stockings is one of the most amazing books that I have read this year. Full of family, unexpected love, and even a secret Santa. Ms. Rice gives us great word building, a lovely plot, and great characters. Liberty is a fantastic journalist who has been trying to uncover the secret Santa in her little home town in Main that donates to food pantries, poor families, and other charities around the city. But will she reveal the secret Santa when she finds him? Sawyer is a smart, attractive, and succeful man, who doesn’t have time for a love life. But what happens when Liberty comes into his life? Will Sawyer make room for Liberty in his life? Will he love spending time with her big chatoic family? You’ll have to read Snowflakes & Stockings to find out for yourself.
When I read the synopsis of the book I was instantly interested to read it. Once I read the first page I couldn’t put it down. I love the characters, the intrigue, the deception and betrayal and definitely happy that there was a little bit of romance. This book did not disappoint me at all and I am so glad it pulled me into the world of Kamadria.

This was a really enjoyable read and one that I would highly recommend. I loved how the author made the characters feel so real, they were really likeable and relatable. I loved the ups and downs of this couple’s journey with everything they had to overcome – I felt really invested in their story. They had great chemistry and it felt genuine and not forced. This is the first book that I have read by this author and it certainly will not be the last I am really looking forward to reading more from her in the future.

This is the second book in the Mafia Elite series and it was just as gripping as the first. The author does an amazing job with her characters making their stories grip you from the beginning. I love how are leading lady Sofia is a Mafia princess however she is determined and strong willed and can handle herself.
This is Enzo and Sofia’s story and it carries on from the first book where they were support characters. Now that Enzo is free from his arranged marriage the connection between him and Sofia becomes stronger than ever. However Enzo thinks that by being around him will put Sofia at risk like his sister and he doesn’t want to do that. Little does he know that Sofia is hiding her own secrets.
Sofia’s secrets are what is now causing the Russians to come after her and if the secret gets out it will have a bad impact on Enzo’s life. Can Enzo protect Sofia when he doesn’t know the reason why they are targeting her? Will Enzo and Sofia finally give into their love? And what will happen if this secret that Sofia holds is revealed.
The second book picks up where the first one left off. Phillip and Kat are reunited after he figures out how to get back to her. As they are trying to figure out what their future looks like, Phillip decides that he wants to give Kat his mother’s ring. When he realizes that it has been lost in the years since he left, he knows what he has to do. What he wasn’t expecting was a jilted ex-boyfriend to follow and wreak havoc on his return plans. As Kat deals with a missing Phillip, she discovers that there will need to be compromises made in order for them to remain together. Can Phillip make it back? Or will their love be lost forever in time?
K.G. Fletcher paints a fantastic picture of love and sacrifice in this conclusion of Phillip and Kat’s story. She does a wonderful job of walking the reader through the character’s thoughts and how they reason through all of their decisions.

5 Stars Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer (Curvy Ever After Book 2) by Stephanie Harrell
Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer is the second book in the Curvy Ever After Series by Stephanie Harrell. This is a fast paced story that once you start reading there’s no stopping until you finish. I was so invested in this story everything around me pretty much faded away. I found myself lost in the pages of the wonderfully written story. The characters are relatable and fully developed. I absolutely loved the characters Harper and Lincoln. These two are off the charts. She’s chasing her dreams even after a night with Lincoln and the surprise she got she’s determined to make her dream come true. Lincoln has finished a movie and came home and sees her and. He wasn’t expecting what happened next. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more from this Author.

Rock-Star bad boy drummer, Joe Grace, was living his dream. But something was missing. The relationship with his best friend and long-time childhood friend has been struggling. Joe just can’t bring himself to tell Melody Sterling the deep secret that could rip her out of his life for good. Melody Sterling is a rock star legend’s daughter who can’t seem to get her dream of playing the cello for the LA Orchestra nailed down. Her relationships, friendships and even seeing her family have been suffering and for what? One visit from her hot, sexy and now famous best friend Joe might just be the change she needs but how can they survive for two months on a tour bus with the sexual tension growing? This page turner is full of steamy tension, funny that you can’t seem to put it down until the book is done. Victoria Zak did a great job of hooking you in and keeping you hooked right up until the last page. I was definitely excited to learn that there is a second book in the Gracefall story!!

This series, yet alone this book, really plays at my heart strings, the story is unlike any other I really have dived into, and I am let with a melody in my heart that keeps on playing even after the final word that lays to rest on the final page. This sequel was amazing, and gave me all the feels the prior gave to me!
I read the first in the series and loved it with all the passion and longing for people to have true love in my heart and soul. This one was as amazing as the prior book installment. I love the time travel part of this story, and how the story plot is about going against all odds to have that true love that many of us only dream about, and often at times, never find it within reach! The series is mesmerizing, and addictive, and yet the emotional impact the reader feels is undeniable! You truly connect with the characters!
This one concluded the great love story between Kat and Phillip. Reading through this one, there was never any question of the love they have and feel for one another, but the question that surfaced my mind was that is going against all odds to be with this one specific person really your destiny? I found that mainly Phillip had to answer this question, and the impact decisions that we make and how they affect us was greatly assessed through out reading. My heart was all over the place when reading, I felt so much, and emotionally invested, all in all, beautiful book and it is for sure a must read, amazing book!
My heart feels full after getting the true ending for this beautiful series, and that Phillips’s and Katherine’s story was told, and will be told over again many times as readers read this series. This is a gifted author, and not one to pass up. Highly recommend this book as well as the prior in the series!

This is the second book in this series which is just as great as the first one if not better. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up and have enjoyed from the first book I have picked up by her. Her books are well written and pull you into the story from the beginning. I highly suggest reading the first book as well to help you enhance your enjoyment of this series. The characters are not only relatable but kept the story engaging to the end. They bring the story to life on each page and they just truly made the story for me. We get to see the conclusion of Kat and Phillips’ relationship. Their chemistry is great and they have a bond that is unbreakable. This is a time travel romance story that I had a hard time putting down. What will happen to these two, you will have to read this conclusion to find out. They are great characters and have great growth throughout the story. I also enjoyed the growth of the story that kept me turning pages to the end. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the fourth book in this series which is just as great if not better than the previous three books. I highly suggest reading the previous books in this series as well to help your enhancement of this series. This is a romance story that is fast paced and hard to put down. It is an engaging story where the characters bring the story to life. They are relatable and made the story easy, fun and entertaining to read. This is a story about Brant and his mother’s final words to him. He is in search of a man who worked on their ranch years ago. What he didn’t expect was to meet Aubrey. She was going to get on her bike and not look back until she meets him. Now they are faced with a stalker, a murderer and a chance at something neither one was expecting to find. They are really great characters. I enjoyed what they brought to the story and just made the story for me. Their growth and the growth of the plot was great throughout the story. You don’t want to miss this one. I highly recommend this book.

Snowflakes and Stockings is the first book I’ve read from Marianne Rice and I am thrilled that I experienced her writing. This was truly a book that felt like it wrapped me in a warm blanket, with a cup of coffee on a cold, winter day. I felt at peace reading this and devoured the book in just a couple hours. I loved the characters and the safety of family that it gave me. Not only were the two main characters, Sawyer and Liberty, the supporting characters were all loving as well. Liberty is an investigative journalist, who’s main goal to win a much deserved promotion, is to hunt down the Secret Santa who has been delivering presents to well deserving children and families for the past several holiday seasons. Her leads take her to meet Sawyer, a Fortune 500 tech company co-owner. Through this meeting of two incredibly job driven people, they find time for each other and come to a new appreciation of finding those who make you want to become a better person. I simply loved this story. Highly recommend to all who like a good, clean romance with a strong family dynamic.
Surprise Baby for Mr. Fischer is a great contemporary romance about a famous actor, Lincoln, who falls in love with Harper, a local girl from Rhode Island, who he had an amazing weekend with. Four months after their amazing weekend, Lincoln returns to Rhode Island to a house he bought, hoping to rekindle what had happened between them. To his surprise, Harper is pregnant with his baby. Both characters are fighting their own demons, Lincoln – his childhood, and Harper – a fear of being in the public’s eye and self-confidence being a curvy girl. They are each also trying to live the dreams they have for themselves (Lincoln – famous actor; Harper – traveling picker vlog). These demons and hopes for dreams try to “distract” them from a future that they know they both want and deserve – love and raising the baby as a family! However, most of the time, Harper can’t get out of her own way, so how do they make this work? I just fell in love with Lincoln from the beginning of the book. I think the story between the two characters is love in the making. I knew I loved this book because it gave me a lot of feelings. One, I think it portrayed famous people and men in a better light than we are used to. Also making it a point to have a main character that can’t be seen as society’s version of perfect, for Harper, was great to read about since I am a curvy girl myself. However, Harper also made me very mad at times. As a female, I know we are exhausting, but seeing it on paper just infuriated me. Why do females sometimes just have to ruin something so perfect out of fear, bias, or stereotypes. Many of us women go through it and make mistakes when it comes to love until someone on the other end of the love decides they won’t let that happen – thank goodness for Lincoln.

Unlikely to Fit by Olivia Sherwood is a 5-star read! It’s the second book in her Parker Lake series, this is the first book I’ve read of this series, so I can honestly say it can be read as a standalone. There was so much detail and the storyline was very clear, there was never a part of the story that was unclear. I have read this author’s Players series and loved each book, but this book is by far my favorite from this author!
This book follows Breckin and Griffin, two characters that were so easy to connect and relate too. It didn’t take long for Griffin to win me over, he’s a heavily tatted man with a heart of gold, he’s sweet, caring, and protective. He’s a one of a kind man. And I loved Breckin, I felt invested in her story from the start as it felt like I had known her my whole life. I also really loved the supporting characters, they added so much humour to this story and it would not have been the same without them.
I would absolutely recommend this book to others and I look forward to reading the first book in the series!

Love’s Reverie by K.G. Fletcher continues along as one of my favorites for 2021 (which book 1, Love’s Refrain is). This is the the continuation of Phil and Kat’s story. These two have been through it all just to be together. I was sucked in again from the beginning because I am a huge, huge fan of this couple. Watching them struggle with how to explain Phil to helping him adjust to the 21st century to popping Spencer in the nose (twice, yay Phil!), the adventures abound. The author does a fantastic job of tying everything together so that it runs smoothly from one time to the other. The characters, again, are so well-developed that their personalities all blend. Even Spencer, who is still a jerk, can’t take no for an answer and gets what he deserves. Her besties, Sasha, plays a larger role in this book and it is heartwarming to see. This book will leave you in happy tears. I can’t say enough. I would give it 10 stars if I could. You have to pick up the series and read this. You won’t be disappointed. I promise! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

To start this off, I would like to say that I absolutely loved the way the title of this novel is incorporated into the story surrounding Sofia and Enzo, it just makes what it stands for so much more! It’s no secret that Amy McKinley has quickly become one of my favourite authors, and I will be setting out to read all her of her adventures. Typically, my problem with this genre is that there are so many people that you must keep track of, that it takes away from the enjoyment of immersing one’s self into a literary work of art. This is not an issue with Ms. McKinley’s writing at all, especially since you get to know different members within the Five Families of the Italian American Mafia in the first installment.
Overall, Sofia and Enzo’s love story, gave me chills. You cannot help but root for them after all they have been through together, the secrets, the fear, and the hesitation they’ve both held onto for so many years. All this impacting not only their chance for true happiness and love together, but for their friendship that they’ve had for as long as they can remember. Her writing and her ability to allow you to connect with most of the characters that make up the novel, as well as making your mind work, is out of this world. I’m going to be racking my brain until our next adventure, fingers and toes crossed that we find out who the rat is in the Five Families sooner, rather than later. As always, highly recommend and will be reading the third installment “Born in Darkness” ASAP.
Book Review: Blood Oath Author: Amy Mckinley FIVE STARS This is the second book in the Mafia Elite series by Amy Mckinley. This story follows Sofia and Enzo. Sofia is a fashion designer and a Mafia Princess in one of the five families. The connection between Enzo and Sofia begins at a very young age during a tragic time in both their lives, they have endured so much in their years and the things Sofia has to tell Enzo now are heartwrenching. Will this change everything even more or will they find a way to overcome? This series is fantastic. I have never been a Mafia romance fan before but this series is really changing my mind on that. There is a fantastic mix of romance, suspense, action, drama and even murder. KLH
I love Olivia Sherwood’s writing style, characters, covers, and stories! You can try to avoid love and be just like the main characters of this story, Breckin and Griff, but I bet just like them, you will be surprised!
Sherwood’s books are easy to read, with stories that are sweet, sexy and safe enough for your own 90 year old “Mema” to read!
Since this is not my first book by Sherwood, I was hoping that Unlikely to Fit would leave me smiling and my heart warm and full, just like her other books. In the craziness of real life, it is good to have a go to author to make you feel good! Olivia Sherwood is my go to goodness!
Breckin and Griff have had their hearts broken by their previous loves. Neither one is looking to start over. Their adventure is a fun one to read. Griff’s grandmother steals the show most of the time which causes Griff and Breckin to come together.
This is the second book in the series but it could be read as a stand alone. However, I suggest reading book one first as there are some references to the main characters, Annie and Wyatt. The main characters from book one are the best friends of Breckin and Griff. (Plus Sherwood writes a great story!)

Yet again Amy McKinley had me on the edge of my seat from the very first sentence to the very last word. I just couldn’t put it down. I wanted to hurry up and read it to find out what on earth was going to happen next to these gorgeous characters Enzo and Sofia, but at the same time I knew if I rushed it then it would be over way too soon. Gotta say Sofia is a Badass! I just love her. There is so much action and suspense but at the core of the story is Enzo and Sofia and the love they have for each other. At every turn it seems there are obstacles in their way but if they can band together and face these challenges, then they truly can have everything they have ever wanted. The most important of all of course is each other. I can’t wait for the next books in the series….I have some hunches and I just need to know if I am right or not!!! the suspense is killing me!!!!

Surprise Baby for Mr Fischer, the 2nd book in the Curvy Ever After series is such a fun read. I will definitely be tracking down book 1 and catching up on this fantastic series. Ms Harrell has created such wonderful characters, with so much heart and presented them and their story in a really relatable way. This storyline really could happen to anyone one of us and the author obviously had so, so much fun with it. As you follow Lincoln and Harper from a chance meeting to a weekend spent together, then a surprise arrival it, will totally restore your faith in love and its ability to conquer all if you just give it a chance.

No Way Out: An Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance (Mafia Elite Book 1) by Amy McKinley. This author never fails to leave me missing her characters. I’m very much in a mafia type of story frame of mind these days. And As always this author delivers everything I was looking for. The main characters in this story had my heart from page one but what really makes this story above the rest is that all the characters have something unique to bring with them to the storyline. I’ve read tons of books this year but I’ll be honest Liliana may just be my favorite female main character yet. Her and her relationship with her best friends is perfect and I loved my time with them. She’s totally kick butt and I just love her. If you’re looking for a story to get lost in look no further! Blood Oath is book two in the Mafia Elite series by Amy McKinley. This story kept me on the knife’s edge. Loved everything about this book . The names I loved. The complexity of each personality was individual and eclectic. The unfolding of their love story was a constant tantalising of the senses. Enzo and Sofia’s passionate feelings for each other was evident in each word the author shared. Their connection was enviable and beautiful. Secrets, danger and all.
These types of stories are an insatiable craving. I can never get enough. When Amy McKinley releases a mafia romance, you know you will be swept away by the creativity and blown away by the descriptive substance and rough edged characters. I am forever drawn to the dramatics and suspense. 5 stars.
This is the second book in this series which is just as great as the first if not better. This is a shorter romance suspense story. A short story that packs a lot of action, suspense and romance in a short amount of time. This is a story about Leann who gets a new job at a bank. What will happen when the bank is robbed? Can her boyfriend be their saving grace? This is a great story that I really enjoyed. The characters pull you in from the beginning. They are relatable and keep the story engaging. The author’s use of details made the story feel realistic as if you were right there with the characters. This is an entertaining story that I read in one sitting. I highly recommend this book.

Red’s Peril Part 1: The making of an MC Prez (Satan’s Devils MC Vegas Chapter) by Manda Mellett
5 ++++ stars
I knew that Red had me curious as he popped in to previous books, and I knew I wanted his story. I just didn’t realize how badly I needed his story till I started reading his story!!
Watching the progression of Reds characters told by this author was perfection. So many memories also came back while his story was being told. I already liked Red and hardly knew him, but I knew he was a good guy and now I absolutely love him.
What I love about this author is she always keeps it fresh, even after a million books in the whole of Satan’s Devils which includes all the different chapters. Each one is so different while still keeping the whole Satan’s Devils vibe. The family, the love, the protection, and the fun.
What I dont love is that I don’t have the next one in my hands already! That ending!!!
Red has jumped up to one of my favorites of the Satan’s Devils and I can not wait for the next, Seriously! I truly need it now! LOL

If you are after a wonderful story that will leave you feeling loads of warm fuzzies then Snowflakes and Stockings By Marianne Rice is definitely the one for you. It is Book 4 in this particular series and even though I had not read the previous 3 books my enjoyment was not hindered in anyway.
I was totally hooked on this book and utterly captivated by the gorgeous lead characters, Sawyer and Liberty and their storyline. These two were simply meant for each other right from the start. I have now ordered the other books and I am not so patiently waiting for them to arrive because I just have to know the other characters full stories. This is a family we all want to be a part of!
