Blood Oath (Mafia Elite, book 2) by Amy McKinley – Review by Kerry Carr
Blood Oath by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is the second book in the Mafia Elite series and it was just as gripping as the first. The author does an amazing job with her characters making their stories grip you from the beginning. I love how are leading lady Sofia is a Mafia princess however she is determined and strong willed and can handle herself.
This is Enzo and Sofia’s story and it carries on from the first book where they were support characters.
Now that Enzo is free from his arranged marriage the connection between him and Sofia becomes stronger than ever. However Enzo thinks that by being around him will put Sofia at risk like his sister and he doesn’t want to do that. Little does he know that Sofia is hiding her own secrets.
Sofia’s secrets are what is now causing the Russians to come after her and if the secret gets out it will have a bad impact on Enzo’s life. Can Enzo protect Sofia when he doesn’t know the reason why they are targeting her? Will Enzo and Sofia finally give into their love? And what will happen if this secret that Sofia holds is revealed.
