OH YEAH!! This is the third book and sadly the last in this compelling paranormal forbidden romance series. This book is just as good if not better than the first two which is why I had to force myself to slow down and not try to skim through it because my need to know was that great. This author is a master at creating a paranormal tale that is riveting and enticing and perfectly bewitching. The word smithing is spot on, the narrative is rich, and the characters are formidable. This complex and multi-layered tale is nonstop actioned packed and fast paced and has all the ingredients that make it great. With fated mates, forbidden love with sizzling chemistry that makes a girl sit up and take notice, Vampires and Lycans, Hell spawn and witches, danger, and secrets. This engrossing tale will have you glued to the pages and wanting more. It has everything that all die hard paranormal lovers will enjoy and more.

I thought this was a great addition to the series. It can be hard to keep a series going as strong as the previous ones and yet this author seems to have done it effortlessly. This book has to be my favourite out of them and I found it so easy get back into. The story is exciting and as gripping as the others, I could have easily kept reading even after it had finished.
This has been an amazing series and this book just solidifies that entirely. This is a fantastic book and I would highly recommend the series.

This series is amazing, I love the books I have read thus far in the series, and this one does not hold back either. I can never get enough of this author and their amazing work, they captivate me every installment of this series, I love these characters so much, I grow along side with them in every book in this series!

The book takes off from where the second book is. I found the action was just as valuable with the suspense as it was in the previous two books. This one really had a strong essence of romance I found, compared to the last two. I found Tasha and Levi had really been through a lot, and those differences or opinions they had were cast in this one, and the portray of the strength of family was very strong in this book which I truly loved! I could not put this one down, it really brought everything to the table!

The story brought on the action and the suspense with the paranormal as the others did. I loved how each book in this series has a certain build up, and keeps the reader truly engaged and wanting more. As I have said, I grew with these beloved characters, and I could never get sick of them, I feel as though they became a part of me, and we are more less close friends. Amazing series, and amazing author! I really loved the bond of Tasha and Levi in this one, truly proved how connected and unbreakable they are!

Amazing series that is not one to be missed! I can never get enough of this author and how they create a wonderful story and wonderful world of characters come to life! I love this series with all my heart, and it is one I shall forever recommend and promote to others! The author is just as amazing as their books too!

This is a paranormal story that will knock your socks off. There is action jumping right off the pages. Supernatural creatures of many kinds from vampires to lycan to hellspawn and a few more thrown in. Tasha and Levi return in this installment with their little girl, Persephone (a special hybrid). The plot is fantastic and so very intriguing. I didn’t want to put it down. I have been reading this series since book 1 (Forbidden Mate) and it just keeps getting better and better. In some books, a lot of characters can be confusing; yet, this author develops them so well as individuals that they all ties so well with each other. Many of the characters have carried on throughout the story. For fans of spice, there is some steam throughout. It is for the over 18 group. Fans of paranormal will love this book. I highly recommend it. I would give it more than a 5 if I could.

5-star

Wow!! I didn’t think it was possible to love this book more than the first two of the series. This is the third and final book in Levi and Tasha’s story and what an amazing conclusion it is!! This is a series that cannot be read as standalones, it must be read in order and is absolutely a must read!!

This storyline is dark, mysterious, interesting, captivating, action-packed, witty and so entertaining!! Honestly, it’s one of the best paranormal series I have ever read, and I have read many so that’s saying something. I love how I’m able to be so engrossed in this story and how even during a really serious moment a witty remark is thrown in and having me laughing. It really kept me on my toes!!

I would highly recommend this series to others and can’t wait to read more from this author in the future!

This was another incredible story of Tasha and Liam. I seriously couldn’t get enough of these twos before. this book did not disappoint just like the other ones. The way these two love each other and are from different races is so amazing. How the author has an amazing take on their way of writing about werewolves and vampires is incredible. I literally can’t not write how amazing this book was. I love how not only did these to fight for each other but also for the people that are in their lives. The book flows from Liam’s side to Tasha’s side of the story amazingly, and how you can get lost in this world of these two. I really hope this isn’t that last time that I read about Liam and Tasha. I highly recommend reading this series, so great.

This is book 3 of The Shadow Chronicles. I proved this paranormal romance as much as the previous ones. These books are full of passion and also lots of action and danger than makes them a gripping read. I love the characters, both Levi and Tasha are strong dominant characters and it’s nice to see how equal they are. Even though it is in Levi’s dominant wolf nature to protect his love he realises that Tasha is just as capable and strong as he is. They need to learn how to work together if they are going to defeat the Master Hellspawn and stop evil from destroying the world.

We are back with Tasha and Levi. Tasha is a vampire/witch and Levi is a werewolf. Their love and relationship shouldn’t work but it does and the power they have between them makes them a force to be reckoned with.
In this book we find them on the hunt for another Elemental witch. It is only with this witch that they can close the gates to hell and stop the hellspawn from attaching. However things aren’t that simple. The powers of evil know that Levi and Tasha are weaker apart so they try to get between them. Will the couple split or will they remain strong together?
When an old power is discovered the secrets it holds makes both Tasha and Levi rethink everything they know about their species. This is a story of good against evil and the battle that they go through to get their happy ending.

This is a series that I have enjoyed from the first book. I was excited to pick up the third book which I enjoyed just as much if not more. I highly suggest reading the previous two books in this series to help your enhancement of this series and this author. I enjoy being pulled into the story by the creative characters. I found them to be relatable and engaging. They bring the story to life on each page. This is a paranormal romance where the author used details to make the story realistic. A story that is not only full of paranormal creatures but also some romance and suspense. It is fast paced and was hard to put down. This is a story about old enemies now becoming allies, a love that is threatened to tear each other apart and finding the faith they need to find each other. Great characters and I enjoyed their growth. The growth of the plot throughout the story is great as well. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Cursed Luck (Broderick Coven Book 5) by AJ Renee – Review by Amy Brennan

Cursed Luck (Broderick Coven, #5)Cursed Luck by A.J. Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If all the novels in this series are as electric as this one, you best believe I will be reading them as soon as the holidays have wound down a bit. I absolutely love the way the reader is pulled into Edward and Mia’s story from the first chapter and has us gasping for air while riding the current of attraction, dislike, and confusion that floats off the pages. Mia, oh my goodness, if I could have a ‘green thumb’ like hers, I would be in 7th heaven. The way she is passionate about her powers is quite unlike any other character I’ve read in this genre, and Edward, well, Edward is certainly the strong, silent type who has a strong personality and (usually) knows what he wants. Everything happens for a reason, or everyone, and in this case, perhaps both have been mixed in, read and find out!

The Broderick Coven seems as tight knit and as close as one could ever hope for in a family, and I adored the way they all look out for each other, and makes me yearn for that this holiday season, more time with my loved ones. Overall, an incredible read, and I very much look forward to reading more of this authors work. Well done!

I love novels about vampires and romance. This novel did not disappoint me. The story of Salvatore and Lucianna had it all, romance, suspense, drama, a villain, and adventure. It is always a good time when we can see a strong male find love and happiness with an equally strong female and I loved reading their story. This is the first in a series and I cannot wait to continuing the adventure as we work to figure out who is working against the vampires.

This a hot supernatural romance with and underlying story of suspense. The second in the series, this book revolves around Piper and Noah. They are great characters and so different from anything I have read before. I was so drawn into this book and I could not put it down. Everyone in this book is different from each other and so interesting. It has so many emotions, you really feel this story. My only negative is that there is so much more that could be written about this story. I think it would be even better as a longer book.

That being said, this is a good Paranormal Romance with some sexy scenes as with as suspense/action. If you are a fan of this in a story that is unlike any you have read before, I highly recommend it.

Salvatore and Lucianna are truly meant to be. I really enjoyed the first book in this series. The details in this book are incredible and I really enjoyed hearing all of the details about how everything started. I think it’s perfect that the Overmaster was the first to have his story told. The attraction between Lucianna and Salvatore is intense even just from them each simply laying eyes on the photograph of the other. Once they’re actually in the same room together, there’s no denying something very special is between them and that fate is drawing them closer and closer. There is so much action and mystery in this story along with romance and heat. It’s truly magical seeing the big, gruff, powerful Overmaster melt when it comes to his Lucianna. When the truth is revealed about her past I absolutely swooned-it was so perfect! Some amazing background characters are introduced in this first book and I’m so exited to read their stories too!

I absolutely loved reading about Piper and Noah. When they were introduced in book one I was excited to find out that they got their own book! The back and forth between these two was absolutely intense and hilarious at the same time. Being on the “outside watching in” and knowing what was going on was great. I wanted to throttle Noah a few times for being so dense and Piper as well. But in the end, I was glad to see what happened. I was so happy that Tanner and Frankie showed up in this book! You see them periodically throughout the book. The writing was phenomenal, and super intense! I was glued to my kindle the whole time and begrudgingly had to put it down for work. It keeps you on the edge of your seat and draws you in! I cant wait to see what book 3 has in store for me!

This book is truly one of the best paranormal/shifter/ romance books that I have read this year. Having read the two previous installments, this one is by far my favorite and while I recommend that you read the first two you could read this as a standalone. This book was so engaging and written so smoothly that I couldn’t put it down, and I finished it in a couple of hours. This story is just packed with all of my favorite things including magic, shifters, mystery, romance, and of course a little drama for good measure. But the real question is fo you believe in destiny, or in soul mates? If you don’t this book might make you change your mind with how realistic these characters are.

Piper keeps having dreams and has no idea what these dreams mean, but eventually she’s thrust into a world that she only thought existed in books. Noah is on a journey to see what’s going on in his town, but what will he find? Do Pipers dreams have a connection to the dark mystery surrounding Noah’s hometown? And will either one of them be the answer to each others questions? You’ll have to pick up an copy to find put for yourself.

The third book in the series, this story revolves around Jackson and Delta. Reading the previous books, I was excited to hear these two were the focus of this new one. As with the others, they are unlike any I have read before. I really like that this series is based on Native American legends I have not heard of. This author has created such a great world, I could not put this book down. While this story could be expanded into so much more, as it is, it’s a short read and can be read in an evening.

A supernatural romance with steamy parts and full of emotion, I highly recommend it.

I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. This is book 3 in the Legends series and even though I haven’t read the first 2 I have really enjoyed this one and can’t wait to carry on the story. The author does a great job of mixing paranormal creatures with humans and the magic in the story is believable.

Jax is the last dragon shifter. He has accepted his fate that without a mate he is destined to die. However his mate comes just when he has given up hope.
Delta is a shaman. But there is also something else about her that makes her special. When she is sent on a journey by what she thinks is her ancestors to fulfill her destiny she realises just how wrong they can be.
With an evil force trying to stop Jax and Delta from fulfilling their real destiny can they work out the truth from all the twisted dreams they are having or will the fight against it and allow evil to win.

This is such a beautiful paranormal romance. Ember is such a beautiful swan shifter that shares the same love of food that Austin does. Fate brings them together when his RV breaks down on his way through and he and his crew stop at her restaurant for a bite to eat. The connection between Ember and Austin is immediate. It isn’t only their mutual love of creating amazing food that draws them together. They both have wounded souls that call out to each other no matter how hard they try to resist the pull. Each is dealing with a controlling father and trying to forge their own path in life. Ember has been taught not to trust anyone from the time she was a small girl and she has to learn to push past those deeply ingrained fears and listen to her heart. This is a beautiful heartwarming story of romance and hope that will leave you with a smile on your face. I’m really looking forward to reading the next books in this series.

It’s different! A great different though! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Ember’s Secret.
Our story revolves around two lonely souls that are drawn to one another.
Austin, a failure in his father’s eyes, has a love and a passion for food. He might have darkness looming over him but he’s just the light this story needed. His character development and growth is wonderfully needed throughout the story.
Then there’s Ember living in fear, after her mother was killed when she was a child. Then again that’s because of her shape shifting secret she holds dear. She grows up tremendously throughout.
Austin stumbles across her empty restaurant with phenomenal food because his car troubles landed him there. He sees a kindred flame within Ember and wants to give her everything nobody gave him to succeed. Though hesitant at first Ember jumps on board and let’s Austin and his team lead the way. As they grow closer they have my obstacles that erupt in their way.
It’s a sweet supernatural romance that I encourage any and all to give a chance. The author did a wonderful job and I look forward to reading our books in the future.

This book was fantastic! The complexity of the characters was fabulous and the relationships between them were so realistic. All the food as well sounded amazing and I really wished I could taste it! The conflicts in each of their lives were so relatable and I definitely felt for Austin in his worry for his mom while his father was so sick. But Ember’s struggle with the trauma of her past makes me sad, although I truly adore her way of connecting to and keeping her past alive through using what she learned from her mom about cooking to keep her restaurant alive.

This was a good read. The other books should be read in order, this isn’t a standalone series. I vaguely remember what happens in the second book, so getting started in this one was a little slow with trying to remember. This is a shifter romance, and it was a quick read. Some steamy scenes are written so this is definitely an 18+ novel. While I enjoyed reading this book and the plot was interesting, some scenes felt a little rushed and there was a lot of missing time in between scenes and I kept getting confused when they would switch. Overall this was a good read and I can’t wait to read the next installment of this series.
