Once again C.R. Robertson delivered an amazing book! I stayed up again way too late to finish. I got some of my questions answered but I still need more! I really hope we have a spin-off for some of the other characters. She’s done an amazing job at world building and I am excited to see where she takes us. Levi and Tasha are the main story line but my boys Dominic and Spencer stole the show! This series is a must read. You will not be disappointed.

This was the last book in the series and I was sad to see it end! I have loved every book so far by this is definitely my favorite and it was the perfect ending to this series. I love the main characters and the journey the author took us on in the Paranormal romance awesomeness. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future and I would definitely recommend this series to a friend!!! Happy Reading!!

A historical romance but not your typical historical romance as it is steeped in paranormal. I have said it before, but this series reminds me of Outlander in so many ways. This time travel tale is full of passion and interesting facts. As with the first two books there is plenty of action and danger, murder, and mayhem, angst, and suspense. Make sure to read the books in order so as not to miss out the background and history of our characters and how they have gotten where they are. Just when we thought things were settling down for our couple Maggie and Will find themselves once again in trouble. Maggie is once again on the run to another century with the help of Dylan, but Will is left behind. Will they find a way back to each other or are they doomed to be a part forever? I jumped on the band wagon in reading this amazing series. I must say I certainly received more than I bargained for! The story itself in this specific installment was full of emotion and other feelings associated with it. I did realize how deep these feelings would go, it was a powerful read start to finish!
I loved the concept of this story! I have read the second book in the past, and actually from reading that one read the first, and I am back with a finished 3rd in the series. I must say the toll of emotions in this one defiantly continues on in a intense way in this one! Will and Maggie are true troopers, they endure a lot, as much as everyone else character wise. There was a lot of feelings of pain and hardship I found with his one, I felt I was living in the moment as well as the suspense and agony Will and Maggie faced! That’s what I loved especially in this novel, the realism was there, and it was certainly felt!
The way the story flowed was a good quick speed, and it kept you guessing and wondering what would come next with the words that were written! I had a lot of concern going as I read this novel. I would say that is the magic of this amazing author, they know how to keep you guessing and wanting more. The whole story is beautiful and full of its own special impact. I can never get enough of this series. I am already dying to know what will take flight and happen in the next! I love this series so much!
This book for me was the bet in the series yet, you really know the characters and things they have gone though, and you really have a strong build of a relationship with them! The feels as I have said got to be very real in this one! I would say defiantly look this author and series up if you have not already! The author and series is a must read! I will also add, this book alone is a must read, not one to be missed!

First off, I have never before been so excited for a book to come out as I was for this one. If you haven’t read the first two books in this trilogy then do so because it makes everything easier to understand, especially as you follow the characters through their trials and tribulations!
We start out by discovering a new peace accord between the vampires and lycans and while most are on board there are old enemies of Tasha and Levi who don’t believe the laws should apply to them. Not only do Tasha and Levi need to defeat old enemies, they are faced with more questions than answers as they pursue war with the hellspawn. New magic entities appear to help out in the war but which side are they fighting for? How is the magic connected to Tasha and Levi and their love story? They are stronger together but can they withstand the storm of so many trying to pull them apart? This book is full of so many twists and turns I had no chance in trying to predict how it would end. If you love paranormal romance books then this book is perfect for you. The characters are so easy to fall in love with and the scenes are so vividly described it is almost as though you are right there with them!

This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. This is the third book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous two books to help your enhancement of this series and this author. I enjoy how her writing style brings her stories to life and make them feel realistic. Her characters are not only connectable but keep you wanting to know more. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by them. This is a suspenseful mystery about Maggie and Will. But what will happen when Will needs saving? Dylan is faced with going back to the past one last time to try to save him in time. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book to find out. It is a great adventure that was hard to put down. It is worth the pick up for sure. I highly recommend this book.

Great ending to a great series! Every book in this series is as good as the last, I’m sad to see it end. This author writes with spellbinding world building and character development. Levi and Tasha pulled me into their sizzling romance with action and drama to keep those pages turning. A MUST read for all paranormal romance readers! Enjoy!

With Will and Maggie’s wedding just a week away, the last thing they need to stumble upon is Johnnie Hetherington’s dead body tied to a tree, especially one that’s so close to their cottage. Recognizing it as a sure sign that Johnnie has betrayed the family once too often, Sergeant Richie Carnaby gathers Will and his family together for questioning, though it seems obvious only a fool would kill a man on his own land. Then who did murder the rogue, and why?
Feeling confident it wasn’t any of the Fosters, Richie allows Will and Maggie’s wedding to proceed, but the couple has barely exchanged vows when the Armstrongs attack in force. Geordie is determined to rescue his niece from the clutches of Will Foster, whether she wants to go or not. And if he happens to make her a widow in the process, so be it. Will senses the danger and implores Dylan to get Maggie away to safety, no matter where — or when — that may be.
Though Maggie protests, Will assures her he will follow as soon as he is able. Yet how can that be possible when Dylan whisks her back to the twentieth century? Sharing her fears about Will, and unable to forget his own love, Annie, Dylan attempts to return to the past one last time despite his growing concerns over the disintegrating amulet stone. But will he make it in time to rescue Will, or will the villainous Ian Rutherford, who has already killed in cold blood once, win the ultimate battle and see Will and Maggie separated forever?

I highly enjoyed this book. The premise of the female lead being the child of a time traveler from the past is a new one for me. I feel like the story of her father leaving the 16th Century could be a story all on its own. You can see the author truly researched the time period to be able to bring this book to life. The world building and character progression was good. I can’t wait to read the second book.

My loved the Romance in this read i felt like it was the perfect amount and not overly powering. I look forward to catching up on this series and reading more by this Author. I rated this read a 4 star and would highly recommend this book if you havent already add to your TBR shelf 💜
This is the third book in The Shadow Chronicles. It follows the life of Tasha, a vampire, and Levi, a lycan. They ended up fated mates years prior even though there was an ongoing war between the races for years.
A third supernatural species called the Hellspawn, have been obliterating the other species. This caused the war between the vampires and lycans to come to an end to team up and eliminate the Hellspawn.
Ever since the couple got together, everyone has been trying to separate them. Their love has prevailed over and over again but more and more enemies are appearing. Tasha has powers that have reached their full potential with the help of witches.
Mystery still surrounds Tasha’s power. They seem to be the only thing that can kill the stronger Hellspawn. In this book, you follow the life of Tasha, Levi and their families unveiling the mysteries of the past lives of both species.
I loved all three books. They are action filled, romantic, passionate, sexy, mysterious. Who doesn’t love a forbidden love story? I highly recommend reading this series!

This book was epic. It tied so many ends together in an extremely tense and dramatic fashion. The author leaves a slight hint of a possible book 4 which I would love. This series has been an intriguing tale of two love mates that should never have been. They fought together to unite all the supernatural forces against the hellspawn. We all know the war is in full swing, the question is who will win and who will remain alive. This is a definite MUST READ.

This book came back full circle to focus more on the time travel aspect of the Armstrong and Foster story. We get to examine how the amulet and box work, and just how many times they can be used before the stone disappears completely. If one of them travels forward or backward in time, will they be able to return, or will the chance be lost forever? Maggie and Dylan are both desperately in love with their 16th Century Fosters, and suffer at the thought of being separated. It is really hard to review this one without spoilers!! A LOT happens, and I was thrilled to find out after finishing this one that there will be a 4th book, because I am not ready to let these clans go yet. I’ve really enjoyed reading about Scottish and English history and culture, and getting personal with the values and traditions that were important. The characters in these books are phenomenal, and even the characters that have a smaller role are well-defined and believable. I read all three books back-to-back in a matter of days. When is Book 4 coming??

The adventure and edge-of-your seat action is ramped up in this Book 2. Now that Maggie knows the truth about what happened to her father, and the real nature of Ian Rutherford’s character, she is desperate to protect her beloved, Will Foster. The Armstrong clan are still convinced that smooth-talking “Bonnie Will” has beguiled the innocent Maggie, and that he needs to be brought to justice and she liberated. They are on the run, trying to escape the long arm of the law, and save Will from certain death in the gallows. But can they run forever? What will it take to save the star-crossed lovers? The Armstrong and Foster clans clash yet again, and while both believe they are doing the best by Maggie, they are at odds. Tensions run very high in this novel, and the plot turns on split-second decisions. My heart was definitely pounding in places, and shed some tears in others. Very emotional and exciting continuation to this series.

Wow! Really is all I can say. This was my first C.R. Robertson book and it definitely won’t be my last! It was a new take on star-crossed lovers. Tasha drove me crazy with how stubborn she could be but she is an amazing warrior that stands up for what’s right. Levi. Swoon! He is a hunky loner of a wolf that will not let anyone stand in his way of what is his. I am ready to see where their story takes me!

This is a fantastic start to series that I am already loving. 19-year-old Maggie Armstrong gets sent back to 16th Century Scotland with her father and best friend, and finally gets to experience having the loyal family she’s always dreamed of. But family relations aren’t as easy as they seem, and Maggie chafes under women’s obligations in the 1500s. I love that she is a strong, stubborn, tenacious woman, very much her father’s daughter, and stands up for herself and her beliefs no matter the cost. While the life of border reivers can be violent and short, she appreciates the joy, love, and simplicity of strong family ties and protecting your own. This novel has plenty of battles, betrayals, and love stories to keep readers on the edge of their seats. Book 1 is the start of what I expect to be an epic saga, and I am here for it!

I was skeptical at first but I’m glad I took the leap and read this book. I loved it! How two supernatural societies, that were mortal enemies, evolved into a truce for the greater good for both groups showed great growth throughout. Tasha, a vampire, who has never felt like she belonged. Levi, a lycan, has always been a loner due to his black fur pattern, which has always been viewed as out of control. Mortal enemies that came together not only to fight a common enemy but as mates. Tasha and Levi met the summer before they were meant to go into their respective armies, to learn to fight one another. A drop from a tree and two bites later, they thought they killed one another. That never happened; they both survived, creating a bond that summer that could never be broken. 20 years was the service time they both needed to serve, after that they promised one another they would meet each other in Paris. Come 10 years later a new enemy has emerged which forges them to cross paths once again. Never forgetting their connection they join together to find out what is killing both of their species faster than anything ever has. The growth and love between these two characters is exponential in itself and makes me look forward to continuing their story in book two!

Tasha and Levi, Tasha and Levi, Tasha and Levi, what are we going to do with you both?!?! In Forbidden Mate we are entertaining book 2 of Tasha and Levi’s story. It’s definitely one I’m sucked into and can’t wait to read book 3. You really need to read the 1st book before jumping into this one, or you will have a lot of unanswered questions. The Master Hellspawn is still after Tasha, book 2 picks up a few months after book 1 ends. Castus is also after Tasha. So not just one enemy but two! It’s definitely worth the read, the bond between Tasha and Levi is wonderful and keeps getting stronger. If you like vampires or lycans trust me when I say it’s definitely worth the read!

Perfect ending to a wonderful trilogy! Forbidden Moon was exactly that and more. Tasha and Levi’s love story comes full circle to start this book, with not only a child, but venturing back to where they first met. Which will be the first time since they spent their initial summer together. With Castus dead, the only things after Tasha now are the Hellspawn. They are getting stronger and more persistent. After finding out Tasha is bound to be a sorceress also learns how to utilize and contain her magic better. I don’t want to give too much away because you really need to read all 3 books. So if you’re stumbling upon this book, start with book 1 in the trilogy. If you already read book 1 & 2, what are you waiting for?!?! The author did an amazing job with the trilogy so you need to do it justice and read all 3!!!

This book is the second instalment of The Shadow Chronicles. It takes place a few months after the first book. Tasha, a vampire, and Levi, a lycan, are mates. To be able to be together, Levi wrote a treaty to bring the two races together to fight a 3rd supernatural species that was annihilating both races.
Even though the war between the two races is slowly coming to an end, it still isn’t time for the couple to settle down. Tasha possesses powers and everything seems to want to get to her. Tasha’s powers are growing stronger and even more enemies are appearing. It’s one thing after another.
I recommend reading this series, it is full of action and romance all wrapped up in supernatural mystery. I loved the first two books and will definitely be reading the next!

We are once again matched up with Levi and Tasha. Along with their crews of lycans, witches, and vampires together.
The peace accords have been made however there is still the threat of the Hellspawn. We join as they fight to get rid of them once and for all. Along with discovering certain magical aspects of themselves at the same time.
This was a wonderful conclusion to this trilogy. I highly enjoyed every moment of it and it wasn’t something that I was able to put down. I am sad that this is the last of their story together but very happy with the way that it was wrapped up and concluded.
This is such an incredible supernatural romance. Levi and Tasha are such incredible characters. They’ve been taught from birth to view the other species as the enemy. During their first encounter, their hearts somehow recognize the truth that they aren’t enemies at all. This is a perfect example of hating what you don’t understand and just how wrong preconceived ideas can be. They’re drawn to each other and can’t resist the other even though it could kill them if they’re found out. There’s so much danger surrounding them, and it just seems to continue to get worse. I was on the edge of my seat from the very first page to the last. I’m excited to read the next book in the series.

This is the first story in the “Masters of the Consulate” series. It’s an interesting world this author has created. A brand-new world where humans, vampires and syndicates work along in the same world respecting each world. Lucianna is a cop with some interesting powers. Salvatore is the leader of the Consulate that governs the vampire clans. He stumbles upon her and must rescue her from death. This is an interesting and intriguing story.

The last summer before Tasha would have to join the war between Vampires and Lycans, she fell for a lycan. Quite literally I might add. Thinking she found a black panther that was said to be in the forest, she pounced on it. Turns out it was a black wolf, a lycan named Levi. They bit each other and that was the start of something forbidden. The bite of a vampire was supposed to kill a lycan and vice versa.
The duo decide to find a cave and live out their last night together since neither of them thought they could make it home. It turns out they lived but something happened that night. They liked each other and wanted to explore that. They had a summer of romance before the 2 of them were shipped off to fight each other on the field.
The book then shows what either of their lives look like throughout the years.
Ten years later, they find each other again. Not under good circumstances. For years they have been fighting each other’s races but it turns out there has been a 3rd one for god knows how long exterminating either side. The couple realise that in order to fight this 3rd enemy, the vampires and lycans will have to put their differences aside and work together.

A flipping amazing five-star read. This is number three in the Shadow Chronicles series and it’s the final chapter of the chronicles, at least I hope that we do get to hear more from some of the other characters in this series, as they all deserve to be heard. Do read these stories in order as you really do get the best out of it that way, this series has it all, romance, action, gripping story that will show you the complexities and drama of the story. You really do get pulled into the world and feel the panic and love, feel the drama leap of the page. Old enemies become allies as when you face a joint problem even an old enemy can become a friend when you need it. There is so much going on in this story, but the author manages to make it all go so well, you can keep up and keep the action together so you can keep the story going and make it to the end of this sublime series.

A Fantastic five-star read. This is number two in the Shadow Chronicles series and it picks up where the first story left off and picks up with a compelling story that you will not be able to put down once you start, so don’t be planning anything until you finish it. As you won’t want to put this down, its such a compelling read. It is best to read them in order as you would likely be lost starting with this one. You will sink into the world and not want to come out, I am so eager to get number three and find out what will happen next. What will Levi and Tasha do now, they are so good together, and the others they bring this story to life, I am eager for what’s next as this has been brilliant so far.

A Forbidden five-star read. This is number one in the Shadow Chronicles series and shows great promise for the series if they are half as good as this one. This story is one that you will want to devour in one bite, the characters are so deep and complex you feel you know them no matter how scary they may appear at first. Tasha and Levi will show you that there is more than you can see beneath the surface, that you need to dig deep to reveal the truth of who you are. I am so excited to see what will happen next in this chronicle.

This series has been incredible so far and I couldn’t wait to read this next book in the series. I was drawn immediately as I were the last 2 books. I quickly remembered what has been going on and the path this story has taken. Tasha and Levi have gone through so much throughout the years. Along the way, they have made many allies and enemies. This book introduces us many new characters, but there are also many secondary characters that are returning from previous books. There is plenty of action and suspense. The author does such a wonderful job with hitting you with a shock when you least expect it and then does it again and again. I love this in a book, this series! I could not put this book down!

What a fabulous wrap up to the Shadow Chronicles. I’m really hoping the author keeps writing in this world outside of the Tasha and Levi story because there is a lot to offer through the characters of this series. At first, I was a little confused with the new additions narrated in the prologue, but after reaching the end…. I think it’s brilliant! This book picks up where the last one left off so this book really isn’t a stand-alone; however, each book keeps you hooked and the spicy scenes are definitely rated on the higher level of the alphabet. Just like Kimber, I dream of having something so passionate one day.

With this last installment of The Shadow Chronicles, I was sad to see it end. I was so invested in this little family of three. This story picks right where book 2 stopped and it continues in a fast paced setting. You learn so much that is still going on and has much to finish and wrap up. Tasha’s and Levi’s love for each other never stops growing. It gets so much better when Tasha decides that she’s not just going to let Levi walk all over her. She pushes him to be the best that he can be and lets him know that no matter what she is his equal in every shape and form. It was a nice little tidbit seeing some of the Greek mythos introduced in the beginning. It gave a good little back story to what lead up these events. This last book does not disappoint it’s readers and does leave you wanting more, but sad knowing that there is no more. I cant wait to read other books b this author because I greatly enjoy their storytelling and their beautiful writing. It sucks you in and it’s like watching a movie right before your eyes.
