Finders Reapers is the 4th book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series by Carrie Pulkinen and as with the previous 3 books in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed it. As someone who loves New Orleans, I really appreciate how descriptive the locations are and I can actually picture myself being there as the action takes place. In this book Jasmine, a necromancer who works at the coroner’s office, must assist Archer, a disgruntled reaper, when the gates to hell are malfunctioning and the malevolent spirits that should be in hell start to take over the city. This book is funny, romantic and a bit steamy at times. It has a wonderful cast of characters that you are introduced to in earlier books. If you like a paranormal comedy romance, then this book is definitely for you.

I give House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie, 5 stars.
This short story really packs a punch. There is so much in here, and you will really get to know so much about Xen. The author weaves a tale of heartache and determination. You really understand Xen and why she does what she does. It was written in such a gripping way too. I was not able to put it down until I finished.
If you are a fan of wonderfully written science fiction, this book is definitely for you.
Finders Reapers: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy by Carrie Pulkinen is the fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series. Set in New Orleans, we find a reaper Asher having a personal crisis. Will he be able to let necromancer Jasmine in? This series is a fun, paranormal group of stories which interconnect, but each book tells a separate story. They can be read out of order and totally enjoyed, but what is the fun in that? This is again a fun, lighthearted romp with a happily ever after, which had me laughing and enjoying myself. The setting of New Orleans is fantastic for a paranormal story. I have enjoyed this entire series and look forward to reading more from Carrie Pulkinen in the future.

Yes, Yes, Yes I have been waiting for more books in this series and once again I haven’t been disappointed! Carrie Pulkinen again has transported us into this world of New Orleans and the paranormal residents. This read once again had me utterly hooked from the very beginning with its romance, humour & adventure. This book while quick to read kept me turning the pages until the end. I thoroughly enjoyed following Asher & Jasmine story, they had brilliant banter between each other and I loved watching their connection and chemistry grow through the read! Every time I think this series won’t get any better Carrie Pulkinen ups her game again and brings us another epic addition to this series! I can’t wait to read more!

This book is steamy yet intensely written as you can’t help but feel both characters’ emotions through the words as the author expresses their love for one another. You feel helpless as you want to help them peel back the layers to get to the happiness you know both need to express themselves for one another. In the wake of it all, there’s some other force keeping the two from coming together: These two are so powerful that they’re up to dismantle anything that stands in their way through the fast paced action that pulls these two together and seeks to devastate their world. I loved how despite it all, these two seemed pulled together despite their differences in their covens but this offers so much more for the series as a greater story unfolds. I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

This book is so darn good! It was a short paranormal story that was full of action and adventure. For being a short story it was well developed and I absolutely loved all of the main characters. I cannot wait to get my hands on more by the author and i would definitely recommend this to a friend! Happy Reading!
Distant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnis a starting four-star read. This was my first by this author, but I really hope it won’t be the last as I enjoyed the writing. I liked Morgan Cutler she was easy to like, with her great sense about her, world weary but fierce, not all will warm but I simply adored her. Watching her open and see life a new was very well done, it left me wondering and with a great feeling meaning I cant wait for more, there were just a couple of bits that dragged for me otherwise it would have been five-stars.

Finders Reapers by Carrie Pulkinen a five-star read that break you lose. This is number four in the New Orleans Nocturns series and continues with the light-hearted funny yet poignant stories. Allow the story to whisk you away to the French quarter and enjoy the sights and sounds that come alive in this story. Carrie Pulkinen will bring you into the story, Asher and Jasmin Lee will just make you fall with them.

Finders Reapersis the fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnesseries by Carrie Pulkinen. As expected, this is another fantastic, fun, sexy, and humorous Paranormal Romance from Ms. Pulkinen. I have really been enjoying my time exploring the New Orleans Nocturnes “world”, with each new book adding more depth and dimension to the series as a whole. Having met both Asher and Jasmine previously in the series, I was really excited to get my hands on their story. Hello! Grim Reaper and Necromancer story- I knew it was going to be brilliant the moment I began. As I have said previously, this series just seems to get better with each new instalment- with Ms. Pulkinen upping the ante with each new release- delivering a captivating, original, sexy, fun, and humorous take on New Orleans’ paranormal life- and giving each book its own unique identity in the wonderful world she’s crafted. This a paranormal romance done brilliantly- with fantasy, ghosts, secrets, magic, drama, intrigue, danger, the supernatural, paranormal activity, demons, suspense, emotion, pandemonium, different realms, mystery, adventure, action, and lots of humour- making for quite a touching, magical, mysterious and spellbinding ride. When the Grim Reaper takes a break to regroup, all hell breaks loose- bringing mayhem and chaos in its wake. Asher’s job just got so much more complicated. But with one powerful, dangerous, and wily ghost keeping him from completing his mission, Asher is going to need some help if he’s to set things right before it’s all too late. A powerful necromancer is just what he needs- but adding Jasmine to the already combustible mix brings its own set of complications. Get set for the sparks to fly, in more ways than one!!! I can’t wait for another New Orleans Nocturnes story- as I am definitely not ready to say goodbye yet, with so many more characters that I’d like to know more about. Fantastic!!

Enchanted Passion. (The Protector Series. Book 4) by Toya Richardson.
Loved it. I was really looking forward to this next book in The protector series and it did not let me down. Watching the growing relationship between Luna and Rhys, is so heartwarming the forbidden “lovers” you see Luna is a part of the Protector community while Rhys is a Elemental, elementals and protectors are not supposed to fall in love. This whole series is a must read, a fantasy romance at its best. You’ll fall in love which each and every character and just keep wanting more. Another great read, well done Toya.

Finders Reapers: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy by Carrie Pulkinen is the fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series. This is a brilliant series and each book that comes along just seems to get better and better. Right from the start I found this book to be highly entertaining! I loved the main characters and the chemistry between them. It felt like such fun between them and it is what kept me reading this book with rapt attention. As usual the author has written an amazing book. It had a bit of everything in that you could want and was one of those books that I could not put down. I would highly recommend this whole series and I can’t wait to see what else this author will produce.

House of Valdis Origins: Xenobia (House of Valdis #0) by Naomi Valkyrie is where the story really starts and is the prequel to The Rise of House Valdis book 1. It is a really, really quick read but that doesn’t mean that Naomi has not filled it to the brim with suspense, emotions and everything more. After reading this everything about the first book becomes so much more and gives us an insight we had not seen before. This intense read was easy to get lost in and was over before I knew it. I enjoyed the first book but this one was great, and Naomi is finding her niche and did such a great job of putting it all together.
Finders Reapers: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 4) by Carrie Pulkinen is a delightful paranormal romance story that is full of magic and ghosts, fun and humour, passion and angst, heartache and angst, chaos and disorder. The witty banter between the characters had me laughing out loud. Carrie has a knack for bringing her unusual bunch of characters to life in her action-packed tales, that they feel like friends and this one is no different. The romance sizzles off the page and makes for a nice enjoyable afternoon read. Bring wine!

Finders Reapers: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 4) By Carrie Pulkinen 4 Stars
This series is so much fun to read. Each book can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend that you read them all. They are really good. They are paranormal romances filled with lovable characters. Witches, angels, demons and reapers. In this book a reaper decides to take a vacation. Well all hell breaks loose, literally. The story is hilarious and with a twist towards the end, I believe that this book is well worth the read. Review by @ Anna Hirsch

This is an enjoyable quick read. It has nIce twists and turns. The story is different from what I usually read. I liked the subject matter. Dealing with the reaper and a necromancer. Ash, who is the Reaper, has a problem. He has feelings for a girl. Reapers don’t feel feelings. So he is perplexed. I liked his characterization. Fun yet dangerous. He is embarrassed about his other worldly “look” and doesn’t think anyone will ever like it. Jasmine likes Ash but doesn’t think he likes her. Plus she has that whole “talks to the dead” thing that people shy away from.
This story involves ghosts, Demons, angels and among others…our two main characters. This is a lively read that I thoroughly enjoyed. It has a nice flow and memorable characters.

House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie. This is not my favorite genre but the 1st book of House Valdis series grabbed me and didn’t let go. I loved it so I was super excited to get to read this book after The Rise of the House Valdis. It was short so I read it in one sitting and it just made me more ready for the 2nd one! This book takes place before the 1st so it explains a lot. I learned a lot more about Xenobia and what all she has been thru. Xenobia doesn’t get close to people but she has become attached to her friend Urd. They bonded over the awful treatment and they are trying so hard to get away. This book is about friendship, drama and adventure. Will Xenobia and Urd survive? Read this book to find out! You won’t be sorry!
Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) by Toya Richardson. This is a fun paranormal love story that grabs your attention and doesn’t let up until you are finished. Its the story of Luna who is a part of the Protector Community and she loves the life she has now. Rhys is an Elemental and they are to stay away from Protector’s so when he falls in love with Luna his life is turned upside down. They are so attracted to one another its a physical battle to stay away from one another. Luna is smart, hard headed and beautiful even though she is a witch. Luna’s past comes into play and may ruin any chances she and Rhys have of making it work. Rhys will move heaven and earth for Luna. The other characters in the book are fun, helpful and some are downright evil. Luna and Rhys are trying to keep the evil from winning. Will they continue to deny each other the pleasure of their love or will they break down and try to make it work. This book is steamy at times and you will think holy moly! I loved this book it was a fun exciting read.

Xenobia is raised in a society that treats women like cattle, so she does her best to keep herself, never bringing attention to herself and always obeying by the rules. She certainly doesn’t like to get attached to people. Then she meets Urd, who becomes her best friend…. But they are then brought by a a man with very extreme sadistic tendencies. Now, they both go on the run to find safety…….
I really enjoyed this book, full of adventure and a great paranormal story. The characters had me drawn in from the beginning, and with it being a short novel, I was just lost in the pages until the end. I love paranormal books and this is definitely a great read. I am now going to read more by this author, as it has given me a taste for more.
The fourth in this paranormal comedy series. Yet again it has me laughing out loud. Jasmine Lee is very powerful necromancer and was hurt by another. I lover Jasmine strong character on this series. I adore the dynamics between Asher and Jasmine. Finding themselves in a situation where they have to work together. It has its laugh out loud moments. Don’t forget to read this awesome series.

I really enjoy the books in Carrie Pulkinen’s ‘New Orleans Nocturnes’ series and this latest story which is book four, was just as good as the previous books. They can all be read as standalone stories although some of the characters do crossover. This was a fun paranormal romantic comedy with great characters. It has a very original storyline, in that the grim reaper, who is also called Asher, takes a holiday but whilst he’s away the door to the underworld is unattended and the ghosts start to wonder around New Orleans, in the French Quarter to be exact. Meanwhile necromancer Jasmine Lee suddenly finds herself surrounded by spirits needing help. Asher, once he returns from his holiday, and Jasmine have to work together to ensure all the lost souls return to the underworld. I love the two main characters, Asher and Jasmine and enjoyed the witty banter they shared. The chemistry between them also sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. This was a fairly short story, but action packed and it was an easy going fun read with plenty of laughs and romance.

House Valdis Origins Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie 4 Stars!!!!
I have to say that this is a refreshing change to my normal genre. I really found this book to be intersting and was really hooked from the beginning. This is the first book by this author that I have read and I was not let down. The characters really jump right from the pages and I felt as though I was part of the action.
I found the story line to be quite original. The book was filled with drama and just balanced out right with a few twists in the story. I think that this is a great prequel to an existing series that I look forward to reading. I like how you get to understand just where the character is coming from and what has happened to create who they have become. I am glad that in a way I am actually reading a series in the right order. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.
House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie a five-star read that will surprise you. This is a short story that comes before The Rise of House Valdis and I adored that story, so this was sublime, it just gave us a little more background and understanding of the characters. I couldn’t believe I read this so quickly but managed to absorb so much, it shows true talent to be able to pack so much in such a short space and not have it feel like just a dressing but let you still feel the characters, still understand them and have a great storyline. If you have read the series still pop back and read this one as it really will add to the story.
House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie 4 Stars
This is a prequel novella to The Rise of House Valdis. It introduces us to Xenobia and gives us a better understanding as to why she is the way she is. Where she comes from, the women are not treated well. It is best to obey the rules. She finally makes a friend and needing to protect her, Xenobia prepares a plan for escape. She learns the hard way that even the best laid plans can go wrong. My only issue with this book was that it wasn’t long enough. I think the author could have explained more about what Xenobia is or why she seems to be the only one that’s blue.
I enjoyed this romance-paranormal book. This is not my first book but it is my favorite of hers yet. I was pulled right into the story right from the beginning. It is a fast paced story that once I started it, I had a hard time putting it down. It is engaging and kept me turning pages fast. I had no issues connecting to the characters as they brought the story to life. It is full of shifters, witches and elementals. This is Rhy and Luna’s story. Luna loves her new life but she never expected to find a connection with Rhy. They have an attraction to each other but there something that is stopping them from beginning together. Her past reappears and now she must face challenges for them to be together. What happens next you will need to read about it and I highly recommend reading this book. I loved the chemistry between these two and I found myself hoping that they would end up together at the end. This book made a great rainy day story to dig into.

Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) By Toya Richardson 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) by Toya Richardson. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me to until the final page. It is a book that includes danger, action, and romance. I have always loved paranormal romance books and this one is a good example of the reason why. I loved the characters of Luna and Rhys. They both have an intense attraction and connection to each other. Luna is intelligent, strong, and independent. A part of her past has reappeared. How much danger is Luna in? Rhys would do anything to protect Luna. Will Luna and Rhys get a HEA? Read this book to find out. This story had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I grew to care about what happens to Luna and Rhys with every chapter that I read. I couldn’t help but want them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that interact with Luna and Rhys. Many of them form a community that supports and helps each other. Some characters have an evil agenda and will stop at nothing to make their plans succeed. The author does a wonderful job of making the storyline and the characters come alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on a story that will have you turning pages to find out what happens. It is an exciting and entertaining book to read. I highly recommend it.

Luna loves her new life within the Protector community. There’s only one problem, she hadn’t expected to discover a deep connection with an Elemental.
Rhys’s heart has been captured by a beautiful witch, but something within is holding him back. It’s almost as if there’s an invisible barrier between them, preventing any deep emotions from surfacing.
Luna experiences an horrific vision relating to their coven. Both she and her mother need to return to their homeland of Romania, where a ritual must be performed to set their souls free. A nightmare from her past reappears, leaving Luna’s life hanging in the balance. Luna must face the obstacles in her way if she and Rhys have a chance of a happy ever after.
Here’s a bit about Toya and what she’s up to in her crazy author world right now. She writes mainly paranormal and contemporary romances. She’s married with one grown up son who works on cruise ships and has a cat called Masai. She lives near Ipswich in Suffolk, originally from Essex.
At present, she is writing two series. A Paranormal Romance Series, which she is self-publishing. Book three, Sweet Salvation, The Protectors Series will be released 10th April. She is also four book in to a Beach Reads series, which is with a publisher.
She’s also working on a new paranormal romance series called Hybrid Lovers and is partway through Captivated, which is book one. This one is a ménage between two Hybrid angel/vampires and their human fated mate. No release date as yet. A contemporary romance/comedy Christmas Novella is also planned for this year.
Writing has been her passion since a very early age when her mum encouraged her to use her imagination. Sadly, it wasn’t until the death of her mum, who was also her best friend, in 2009 that she started to take it seriously. Her mother’s wish was to see her published, which didn’t occur until 2014. And now, each book she publishes is dedicated to her.
When not writing, or reading, her main hobbies are; cinema, theatre, live bands, gardening, keeping fit, travelling, Formula One racing, darts and spending time with friends.

Xenobia has been living with other girls who are all constantly being watched and thought to do what their masters expect. In comes Urd, a new girl and Xenobia tries to keep her distance…but soon she finds Urd has become important to her. Now what can they do but hope to escape! I was so engrossed in the story that I can’t wait to read more of Ms. Valkyrie’s books. If her other books are anything like this one, I will have a hard time putting the books down. I love finding awesome book series!
This is the fourth book in this series which I highly suggest reading all books in this series to help enhance your enjoyment. This is a shorter book which I enjoyed. I was pulled in right from the beginning. It is fast paced and had me turning pages just as fast. I had no problem connecting to the characters as they brought the story to life. This is a story about Asher and Jasmine. Asher leaves the door to the underworld unattended and now he finds himself in a crisis. Jasmine is a necromancer, she has never not been able to tame a ghost until now. Some lost souls escaped the underworld and now Asher and Jasmine are left to bring them back. She is the last person he wants to work with but fate may have something else in mind for them. Will they be able to gather up the lost souls in time? This was a fun, entertaining story to read and made a great afternoon story. I highly recommend this book.

Yes, this short story was awesome! This book is a sort of opening for the book The Rise of the House Valdis. We get a little insight into Xenobia and Urd and how they meet and become friends. My heart breaks for both girls as they have a sweet friendship and Xenobia is always looking after and trying to protect Urd, and what befalls them makes me sad. I enjoyed this story. I have not yet had the pleasure of reading the rest of the series yet, but, because of reading this story, the girls, how they met, the life they have to life and the word they come from, I am definitely going to go read the rest of the series. Although it is not my typical genre, the way the the author writes has pulled me in and now I have to find out what happens next!
