Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) by Toya Richardson – Review by Erica Fish

Enchanted Passion The Protectors Series Book 4Enchanted Passion The Protectors Series Book 4 by Toya Richardson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. In this story there are shifters, elementals, and witches. The plotline moves quickly, but not so quick that you do not know what is going on. There are twists and turns, ups and downs, and even loopy loops. That is what kept me reading until I was done. The characters are fully developed and engaging. There is something about Luna that I have really enjoyed. I could see myself being her friend. What can I say about Rhy except Luna is attracted to him. It seems as if Rhy is interested in Luna. There is one little problem. There is something that is keeping them away from each other. Does Rhy and Luna ever overcome this problem? Will they separate without knowing if they could be together? I highly recommend reading this book to get to the answers of these questions and many more.

Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) by Toya Richardson – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Enchanted Passion The Protectors Series Book 4Enchanted Passion The Protectors Series Book 4 by Toya Richardson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is book four in Toya Richardson’s ‘The Protectors Series’ and although some of the characters cross over it can be read as a standalone story. This story concentrates on Luna, a witch and Rhys an Elemental. The pair are both living within the Protector community where witches and Elementals are not supposed to fall in love. However, Luna and Rhys can not deny the chemistry and connection between them. When Luna and her mother have to return to their homeland following Luna having horrific visions about their coven Rhys must decide if he will take a chance at love. Having returned to Romania Luna and her mother must take part in a ritual to set their souls free but Luna’s past puts her life in danger.
I enjoyed this paranormal romance with a forbidden lovers element to it and felt fully immersed in the storyline. The connection between Luna and Rhys really came through in the narrative and I was cheering them both on to their happy ever after! The plot is fast paced and full of drama and suspense as well as romance and paranormal aspects including, witches, Elementals and rogue shifters. An entertaining read and a great addition to the series.

Finders Reapers. (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 4) By Carrie Pulkinen.

Wow. What a truly fascinating story, I stated on book 4 and will definitely being going and reading the previous 3 books in this series, it was amazing. So funny with lots of twists and turns to keep the brain occupied. Asher is a Reaper who has decided to take a holiday and has left his gate open for all souls to wander through to the underworld as they please, only this isn’t exactly how the story goes, he soon learns that someone has closed the door and there are lost souls roaming around the French Quarter. Jasmine is a Necromancer (and also the reason Asher decided to take a break) and the last thing she wants to do is work with Asher the very hot Reaper. But how else are they going to stop New Orleans becoming the new hell? I really do recommend this book to anyone who loves a good laugh but also likes their paranormal romance too. It is epic.

Distant Heart Sounds (Nurse Morgan Series Book 1) by Kate MacInnis – Review by Kandy Garrett

Distant Heart SoundsDistant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have to admit from the start this isn’t usually the type of book I usually read. I was ultimately surprised how easy it was to read and it was very relatable with the relationships, the work environment, and the goings on that seemed to happen around the characters.
This was very well written. I could see the characters and the places that they were in as if it were in a movie or I were there with them in the EC. It was also kind of neat to read about a more local destination, I haven’t come across a lot of books set in Michigan.
This book certainly kept me on my toes and I am curious to know if it is going to continue with the relationships that formed during the entire story.
If you are into some ghostly story telling, this is a great book to get into. It isn’t at all what I expected in a ghost story and that is what made me like it so much.

Enchanted Passion (The Protectors Series Book 4) by Toya Richardson is a paranormal romance and is the story of Luna, a witch and Rhys, an elemental. It is fast paced and full of surprises making my favourite of the series. It has a little bit of everything from witches and magic and shifters. Love comes in all shapes and sizes and when the universe deems it fated there is not much you can do but hang on for the ride. Toya always gives us that little bit more, that something that makes her worlds and characters charming and makes you feel a part of it.
If you love a good paranormal romance with a few twists then look no further.

House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie – Review by Elizabeth Sanchez

House Valdis Origins: Xenobia (House Valdis, #0)House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

House Valdis Orgins: Xenobia is my first experience with the author Naomi Valkyrie. It was not at all what I expected, but I really liked it. It is unlike anything I’ve ever read, I highly recommend it. While it is technically the 3rd book in the series, it is written as a prequel and is advertised as taking place before the first House Valdis novel. I will now go back and read the others in the series, and honestly, cant wait. The book is not for young readers, as it contains scenes of rape and topics of sex slaves. It is a very quick read, but so full of action that it seems like a much longer story. It has great world building and the characters are well written.

This book was a good one from an author i will defidently have to read more of! It was well written and i was pulled in from the very beginning. The characters are what made this story awesome. I really liked Manuela. All she wanted was to be a normal girl with a normal life and it was exactly the opposite. Revenge, Anger, Heartache, Love, and Mates. This story has so many awesome elements that made my heart happy and even sad. Manuela goes through alot but she is stronger because of it and that’s why i liked her so much! I would recommend this to anyone that likes a good paranormal story! I can’t wait to get my hands on more!
Happy Reading!

Enchanted Passion is the fourth book in The Protectors Series by Toya Richardson. This is a great friend-to-lovers paranormal romance, with mystery, the Protector community, witches, shifters, the supernatural, magic, elemental powers, risks, danger, drama, and high stakes
Here we meet Luna and her best friend, Rhys. Luna has been having bad nightmares that have left her feeling on edge and with a powerful sense of impending doom. Is there more to her dreams than she realises? Having had a troubled past, what will happen when that past now threatens everything she holds dear? Where does Rhys fit in all of this? It’s worth the read to find out.
My pick of the series, so far!

Thank you, Toya Richardson!

Distant Heart Sounds by Kate MacInnes is the first book in the Nurse Morgan series. This is a unique and exciting story that will leave you wanting more of the characters even after the last page. This is the first book that I have read by this author but I can say for certain it will not be the last. I loved her writing style and how entertaining the whole book was.
The characters are what really made this book though. They were so relatable that I connected with them immediately. One of the things that made this book so original is Morgan and her outlook on everything and the way in which you see that develop over the course of the book.
This was an amazing book that was really well written. It is entertaining and engaging from start to finish. I would highly recommend this book!

Enchanted Passion by Toya Richardson a passionate five-star read. This is number four in the Protectors series and it could be read as stand-alone, but I have enjoyed it as a series and loved how the author has built the background and just envelops you into the story. This was such a good romance you could feel the heat and passion leap off the page, this author will take you away with the story and have you warming so quickly to the characters, not only Luna and Rhys but, friends and family as well.

This was a great short paranormal story. It takes place before The House Of Valdis. Which is also a great book. It was a gripping story that kept me hooked and I read it in one sitting.

Xenobia lives in a home for slaves. She has shut herself off from people as she always ends up hurt when they leave. That is until Urd  arrives as her room mate. Try as she might she cant help caring for her and their bond is strong.

When they are sold to a master who is very sadistic Xenobia does all she can to protect Urd from harm. And their master takes great joy in seeing the pain and torment in Xenobia when she is unable to do so.

Can Xenobia and Urd escape their master and be free of their torment or will it be too much for them to survive.

Enchanted Passion is the fourth book in The Protectors Series from Toya Richardson. I am sure if you wanted to you could read this as a standalone but I would recommend devouring these books in order. The story is one you will be engrossed in for sure. I loved that this book focused on Rhys and Luna. These two will are fabulous together and the chemistry is palpable as you read. I love how this really was a friend to lovers, that is one of my fav tropes and this one did it well. These two are just meant to be and you will find yourself cheering for them to get that happily ever after the whole time. The adventure and intrigue is still there as these two have their own set of obstacles to overcome in addition to finding the way to each other’s hearts. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Finders Reapers is book 4 in the New Orleans Nocturnes series by Carrie Pulkinen.

As with the other books in this series, this story is fun, sexy, action packed and fast paced.
There is a similar theme throughout the series, love strikes whenever it fancies, usually where you wouldn’t expect it. Asher and Jasmine are thrown together in a tricky situation. There is lots of laughter along the way, and I love the way the characters are brought to life. The energy between them almost jumps off the page, and they have a very playful relationship. The author has won me over in every book with her lovable characters and lighthearted “horror”, it’s a very different kind of romcom, but it gives you the same happy feelings.
This story can definitely be enjoyed as a stand-alone novel. However, there is a crossover of characters which I absolutely love, for me it makes it even more enjoyable. So, if you haven’t already, I would recommend starting at book one and enjoying the whole series.

Oh man I was once again drawn into the supernatural New Orleans life and loving it. These are such light hearten and just an absolute joy to read. They really are a great short read and have a good balance of romance and a bit of drama. Nothing is ever straightforward and I love that.

I really like how Jasmine and Asher have that typical complicated start. I love that they are destined but he really tries to fight that. I like how the author is able to entwine the story line around these two and it isn’t predictable. I will definitely be reading more from this author and this series. I am totally hooked.

Finders Reapers: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy is the fourth book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series by Carrie Pulkinen. This author does it again. I have read other books in this series and have absolutely loved them, and this one did not disappoint. Like the other books in this series, the main characters couldn’t be more wrong for each other. Asher is the grim reaper who decides to take a break. Unfortunately, this leads to some souls escaping the underworld which poses as a great threat to New Orleans. Jasmine, who is a necromancer, can try to tame the souls but it could turn out to be more trouble than good. Asher and Jasmine must work together to try to get the souls back to the underworld or it could mean death for Asher. This story has the perfect blend of paranormal elements, with light hearted humor and romance. I highly recommend this book, as well as others in this series.

House Valdis Origins: Xenobia by Namio Valkyrie is a prequel to the Rise of House Valdis. This is an amazing short story that transports you right back into the gritty world you have already been introduced to. I loved the insight it gave us into Xen and where she came from. And I loved the fact that the author knew exactly how much we needed from this story and how much needed to be held back for the rest of the series.
This book is just brilliant. I was thinking about it long after I had finished reading it and it has just whet my appetite even more for the next book in the series. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

Enjoyable. I liked the story and the characters. This is the fourth book in the series. While it mostly a stand alone there are references to past books and many characters that come back fo r each book. I have read book 3 and Now book 4. At times I did feel lost but as the story went on I was able to catch up.

The flow of the story is good and it easily kept my interest. I did like the Rhys roommates and how they whine that since Josh left and now Rhys found his “one” they are the few single guys left. This also leads me into the next two characters who get together!!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A paranormal romance which had me both laughing out loud at parts and also hiding behind my cushion at the spooky parts. A fairly short read but with plenty going on with the plot to keep me happily turning the pages. I found it to be an easy and fun read with great characters especially the main character, Morgan, who was very realistic and relatable. Morgan Cutler has been an emergency centre nurse for over twenty years and believes she has seen and heard everything. However when Morgan starts to be able to communicate with the dead following a near death experience the skeptical nurse has to come to terms with the fact that, “ just because you haven’t seen a ghost, it doesn’t mean they aren’t around”. As well as coming to terms with the paranormal world and her new abilities Morgan takes a chance at love with a relationship with an emergency centre doctor who also has psychic abilities. Morgan soon learns that some secrets are best left unseen when she sees the evil inside one mans heart. I liked that the main character was a slightly older lady and I enjoyed how her relationship with the new doctor developed throughout the story. As well as some spooky moments there were also light hearted parts and the storyline flowed along at a good pace and kept me immersed in Morgan’s world. Kate MacInnis is a new author discovery for me and I look forward to reading more books by her.
