I’m sad to see this series end, but glad I got to read it! Do not read these out of order, it helps to set the story and feel for this book. Terri has loved Jet for as long as she’s been at school with him, but he’s to blind to see it until he’s lifted out of the fog he puts himself in. This book deals with a traumatic event and was handled well in this book as it’s a very real thing that happens way too often. I will be reading more from this author!

Elemental Fae Academy: Book One: A Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance by Lexi C. Foss & J.R. Thorn is a fabulous start to this paranormal fantasy series by the dynamic duo. Separately their work is great but together, brilliant. Reverse harem stories are ok if done well and this is a sizzling tale done oh so good. But that is not all that is great about this story, there is magic and mystery, drama and action, lies and danger, and the heat is turned way up. Everything is easily imagined as the details takes you to a world so vivid and rich that you easily get lost in it. The characters are well developed and you become invested with them. It is told from multiple points of view, which I absolutely love as it really gives you a deeper look of what is happening and what the characters are thinking. Definitely one of my fav reads this year.
Clare awakes and finds herself in a whole new world and discovers that she is more than she could have ever imagined. A dare that started it all and that a kiss is not just a kiss. Coming into her magic is not an easy feat and one that needs to be harnessed and controlled quickly or there will be dire consequences. Not only that, she has the use of more than one powerful magic and each magic calls to like magic, creating some explosive chemistry. With a past legacy putting her in danger, protecting her is easier said than done.
The spellbinding story is unique and I can’t wait to read what comes next. It does end on a cliffhanger and I want to smack the authors for leaving me hanging.

This book is as full of action, suspense and magic. It is fast reading and a page turner. The twists and turns left me sitting on the edge of my seat just waiting to see what would happen next. In this book the MC is in search of his link before it is too late as his Spirit is dying and someone is out to get them. The characters are all supportive of each other and bring something to the story that makes it feel as if you are right there. I highly recommend finding out what happens next!

Lexi C. Foss is already one of my go-to authors, so picking up this read was a no brainer! Adding J.R. Thorn into the mix made for an epic read! I was captivated and entranced by this read from the start. Nothing could make me put this read down. This read was beautifully written it was mentally visual and had some amazing characters with an even better storyline. From the moment I started this read, I have been weaved into an amazing fantasy world that I can’t help but want to be a part of. This book was easy to read and it flowed effortlessly from chapter to chapter.
I absolutely cannot wait to be drawn back into this series again, and to see where Book #2 takes us! Until then most definitely do not miss this read!

Rebel Jewel (The Jewel Chronicles Book 3) by Natalina Reis was hooking, engaging, and it had me flipping the pages.
Oh wow, what a way to end an amazing series. I’m sad to see these characters go, but happy they got their ending, and what a ending it was. Now this book is part of a series, and I highly suggest reading the first two book, or you will be confused as to what is going on, and you will miss out on the impact this full complete story brings. I’m not going to get into details, as I don’t want to spoil anything. But just know this book, this series is a must read. Not only well written, it has action, love, danger, amazing detail, and connecting well developed characters that you can’t help but fall for. The plot is both complex and multi layered, and keeps you fully engaged form start to finish.
This book, this series has it all and it’s a super high recommend from me, and it also gets my golden stamp of approval

Shameless (The Orphan Train Saga Book 2) by Sherry A. Burton was just as good as the first book and kept me reading.
The second book in this fresh original series once again takes us back to a time long gone, and on an adventure that is both heart breaking, nerve wrecking and touching. I fell right into the easy writing style and the details of the era that this book takes place in. You can tell care and research went into making this book not only engaging and picturesque but, it makes this book a portal that hooked you, puling you in, making you almost apart of this story.
Overall this book is worth your time and energy. As this is part of a series, I highly suggest reading the first book, as you will miss backstory, and important details that will make this book confusing otherwise. So please take my super high recommendation and my golden stamp of approval, that you will not be able to put this series, nor this book down.

Of War and Taters by Ashley Chappell was an intriguing read! I would give this book a four out of five stars. I really did not know what to expect, but really enjoyed it. A part of me enjoyed the misunderstanding because it just highlights that the media focuses on the story they want to sell. I enjoyed the unexpected twists and turns throughout the book. Stanley was my favorite character, I could not put the book down because of him.

Elemental Fae Academy: Book Two is the second spellbinding instalment in the Elemental Fae Academy Trilogy by Lexi C. Foss and J.R Thorn. I am really loving this series, it has completely captivated me and had me glued to the pages, while I devoured my way through the story just so I could discover what happens next. This book continues the storyline from the first book- and it picks up right where we left off in book one. So, if you haven’t read the first book, I highly recommend that you do- because this is not a standalone and should be read as part of the series. There is important background, storyline, and character information contained in the first book which you will need to know in order to fully appreciate and enjoy this story. After the way the previous book finished, and the fact that I LOVED it so much- I really had high expectations for this story. So I can’t be more excited, now that I’ve finished it, by what these two talented authors created and the incredible ‘adventure’ they’re taking us on. There is so much going for this book/series. I really am at a loss for words to do it the justice I think it deserves. As with the first book, this is a wonderful fantasy with a reverse harem/PNR romance. There’s plenty of action, drama, danger, hidden agendas, tension, mystery, politics, power-plays, battles, romance, passion, and so much more. And this story is definitely quite a bit sexier and steamier than the first. Claire had only begun to wrap her mind around the events which unfolded in the previous book (I know I am being a little vague- but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who hasn’t read the story yet) while also getting a grip on her ‘powers’, when she is flung into another crisis. Someone seems to be targeting her, and is willing to go to any lengths to get to her. When her spirit connection goes missing, Claire is desperate to be reunited with it- and time is running out. If she doesn’t find it, the connection will be severed- permanently. She and her sexy Fae will all need to work together to figure everything out before it’s too late. Easy right-um, not so much? I absolutely cannot wait for book three!!!! I need it like yesterday!!!! November can’t come quick enough. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Definitely one of my favourite reads for this year!

Laurie Lewis has become an author on my must list. Her books are suspenseful-the kind that keeps you hooked from the first page to the last page. Secrets Never Die is that book. There is little suspense and a little romance all wrapped into one. There are two mysteries taken place one about a female,Tallie whose mother moved around and the other is about a reporter, Jackson who has had problems in his career. Each investigates their lives which leads them down a path that they may not be ready to see or hear about. The story is gripping and is a roller coaster ride. Every decision can lead to a good situation or a bad situation. Will Tallie and Jackson find the answers they are after or will it put them deeper into the rabbit hole?

A Dark Sparrow Boxset by India Kells is a series about six brothers and the ties of family. Each of these books is about a different brother however I personally would recommend you reading them in order as the characters development from the author is brilliant. It would give you a more complete experience. Each book – each brother – is fantastic to read about. Their stories are so different and yet all have that similar feeling to them. And they each find the one person who is their perfect match. The stories are all exciting and fast paced. You are drawn into them so easily and simply cannot put them down. You should do yourself a favour and buy this boxset today.

Darcy’s Caution is the first book that I have read by Zoe Burton. I thoroughly enjoyed her writing style and will read more of her books now. The description is so vivid which made it easy to draw the picture in my mind’s eye. The plot was interesting as it has a romance-suspense theme. This story is about Darcy and his wife Liz. The couple grows stronger with every turn that is put in their path. The biggest threat to them is a stalker who is obsessed with Darcy. Liz goes missing and Darcy is beside himself. Will Darcy find Liz before it is too late? You will just have to read the book to find out.

Elemental Fae Academy: Book 2 by Lexi C. Foss and J.R. Thorn is the brilliant second book in an amazing trilogy. You do need to have read the first book in order to fully appreciate this one. We are taken back into the world that Claire found herself part of in book 1. She has started to embrace her new world when new obstacles are thrown in her way. The authors have down a great job in making it almost feel like you are picking right up from where you left off last time. It was so easy to fall back into Claire’s story. The Fae are as intriguing and fantasy inducing as they ever were. I loved how they are all different from each other and yet all equally as likeable. This has been a brilliant series so far as I can’t wait to read book 3!

Virtue & Vice is the second book in Spicetopia series by Phoebe Alexander. With this being the second book in the series if can be a stand alone book but would be enjoyed more by reading the first one as well. Phoebe is a talented writer who makes the characters fly off the page. The characters have chemistry that does not stay on the pages. This story is about Moon and Katja’s story. They are trying to build Spicetopia “a slice of heaven” with another couple. Each couple has their own qualifications when it comes to having a “slice of heaven”. Will the couples be able to create their “slice of heaven” or will the idea go bust?

Paladin’s Hell is the much awaited first book of the Colorado Chapter Satan’s Devils MC from Manda Mellett. I adored the original Satan’s Devils MC stories so when I heard there would be a spinoff series with an emphasis on a Colorado Chapter I was hooked before I even read a single word of it. Colorado is one of my favorite places in the world so add that I would have an awesome new characters to watch enjoying Colorado is a win win in my book.
In Paladin’s Hell we get the full story of Jayden and Paladin. Jayden was rescued by the Satan’s Devils two years ago. This was the first time the two met and it seemed to be an instant attraction for the two. These two have to make a move to a new compound and things will get interesting. Will these two be able to withstand all the obstacles that seem to plague them? Is there any hope for a happily ever after? I can’t wait to see what will come next in the series. I know for sure I will love it so I am just ready for the newest adventure with the Satan’s Devils.

So I was completely hooked on needing to read these books from the moment I read a few teasers floating around. I had some reservations at first because both the authors are new to me and I frankly despise most reverse harem novels. However, this book could not have hit it more squarely on the perfect mark if it tried. I was sucked into this imaginative, bright, and shiny new world full of steamy intrigue and magic I never knew existed. Elemental Fae Academy brings to life this fae world where Clare, our main character, is thrust to exist in when she receives her gifts on the eve of her 21st birthday.
If you think that sounds like enough for a fabulous and exciting storyline, you are probably right, but the authors throw us this harem built between the ever so sexy Exos and Titus and Clare. This gives us hot, hot scenes that will leave you gasping for air as much as Clare. It adds a much needed layer to the story that elevates this to being among the best I have read of harem romance. I am dying to know what will come next and honestly devouring book two is my plans for the evening right after I finish this review! I can’t wait to see what will happen!

I am truly sad to see this series end. However, I couldn’t have pictured a more perfect way for it to do so. I am a sucker for college romances and this What Happens on Campus College Romances from M.L. Sparrow has quickly become a favorite of mine. You MUST read these books in order for you to fully understand what is going on.
Friend, focuses on Jet and Terri and where things go after she is left to cope in the aftermath of a horrible trauma. These two really are the perfect match for each other and it truly makes reading their story that much more enjoyable to see the obvious chemistry between the two from the very get go. Terri has a long road full of obstacles and growth in order for her to be able to feel normal again after her attack. Jet lifts her up in all the swoon worthy ways and helps put her pieces back together perfectly. I absolutely love these two and I am sad to see their story conclude but know it all worked out for the best. I look forward to seeing what will come next from M.L. Sparrow. Whatever it is, I’m going to scoop it up asap!

The Dark Sparrow series from India Kells has to be my favorite series of hers to date. When I saw that the first three books were available as a box set, I knew I had to scoop it up. Not only do I have to still devour the first book in the series, I know several gals that would love this series just as much as I have so it makes the perfect gifting option. I have truly felt all the emotions known while reading these novels and the series will keep you entertained for hours with lots of suspense and steamy content. I am so excited to get to read the first book and then re-read the following ones. I will be looking forward to seeing what else will come from the ever talented India Kells. Below is my reviews for books two and three.
Cold Bastard (Dark Sparrow #2) “The question isn’t who’s going to let me; it’s who’s going to stop me.” ~ Ayn Rand
This was my first experience reading any of India Kells novels. I had not read the first one in the Dark Sparrow series, but didn’t feel like it affected my ability to fully enjoy this one. Though, since I did, I am compelled to go back and read that, and maybe some more of this author. I really enjoyed how India Kells managed to weave a detailed and complicated storyline with ease and friendly to the reader. It was fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat until I suddenly found myself with no more to read in a few short hours. I found it a perfect poolside read full of mystery, adventure, suspense, romance, and so much more. Our two main characters in this novel are Zoe and Archer. Each have secrets in their past that will come back to haunt them. Will these be detrimental to not only their survival, but also their ability to find a happily ever after that you so want them to find?
I really connected to Zoe. She is a curvy, smart, and sassy redhead, much like myself. To me this really pulled me into the story and had me feeling like I was on the same page with her throughout the entire novel. Zoe is a Dark Sparrow (A soul offered a new life in exchange for a favor to be repaid later.) that has been assigned to infiltrate the Blackwood Corporation. This is where Archer comes in. I found him to be a nice compliment to Zoe. Archer has a very different persona. In his past it was his secrets that has turned him into the cold bastard that he is today. Zoe never figured that she would fall for someone like Archer but finds herself feeling a very strong attraction towards him. Will she choose to follow her heart or fulfill her job above all?
I really look forward to reading the next book in the series. I hope that it will keep me on the edge of my seat much like this one.

Wild Bastard (Dark Sparrow #3)
India Kells really just keeps on outdoing her own self. I have been an avid reader of Kells for a long time now so any time a new book of hers is available I tend to scoop them up without so much as a blink. I’m especially partial to this Dark Sparrow series of hers. Wild Bastard is the third book in the series, but could if you really want to miss out on some fantastic novels read this as a stand alone. They do have recurring characters but India Kells always keeps it easy to follow.
Wild Bastard is Kai and Izzy’s story. I adored these two and really enjoyed reading their journey. The two met and fell madly in love with each other years before but Izzy one day disappeared without so much as a goodbye. Here we are now and we find Izzy and Kai crossing each other’s path again. Will they be able to capture that same love they had before and hang on to it this time? I can’t wait to find out what will come next for the Dark Sparrow series!

I am completely new to Zoe Burton and her writing but when I saw this was a fan fiction type novel based upon one of my all-time favorite classics, Pride & Prejudice, I knew I had to see what this was all about. Now, Darcy’s Caution is the third book of the Pride & Prejudice & Racecars series, but I have not read the previous two and wasn’t lost at all, so this could easily be read as a standalone if this is where you choose to start. I will probably be going back to read the first two before I dive further into the series.
Darcy’s Caution is full of characters that boast the names of the classic story characters. There is lots of suspense and intrigue as we follow Will and Liz Darcy in the young marriage. Will has a stalker that becomes dangerous and threatens to take the one thing Will holds most dear, Liz. Will they be able to stick together and overcome the obstacles in the way? Will they stop the stalker before it is too late? These are just a few of the questions that you will encounter as you read their story. It is one you won’t want to miss out on. Happy reading!

The story Elemental Fae Academy (Elemental Fae Academy Book 2) by Lexi C. Foss and J.R. Thorn is the next wonderful story in an amazing series. It has magic, romance, and danger. I love to read about the characters, and I found the storyline to be well-developed and kept me guessing as to what was going to happen next. In this book, Exos has been taken and the main female character has to depend on her other elements to help find him. The dynamics that these characters show run from conflicted to sarcastic. I enjoyed reading about the bantering that goes back and forth between characters. There is plenty of romance in this story. There are also characters that I found myself wondering about their motives and if they are truly all that they seem to be. This is the second story in a series that should be read in order to understand all that is transpiring. This is a book that will pull you in and won’t let you go until the last page. I highly recommend reading it.

Of War And Taters by Ashley Chappell was a fun and unique read. The whole time I was reading this book I was chuckling. Overall I enjoyed the story and writing. It is witty and funny and just a little sarcastic. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this book but I’m glad I read it. I would rate 4 stars.

I don’t know why I don’t read more MC stories! Every time I do I fall more head over heels for them. I don’t know where Mellett has been hiding! I love this author and her club! This story can be read as a stand-alone but little did I know that the Arizona Chapter is where it all starts. You can tell that some of the characters in this book have their own stories. I can’t wait to go read all 9 of those books! And what is next for Demon and the Colorado Chapter!
Paladin’s Hell is about Paladin and Jayden as well as Hellfire and Moira. I loved how this story had two different couples at two different times in their lives. There are not many books with over 40 main characters so having them in this story is so extra! The twists in this story are beyond great. And I even caught myself laughing out loud at Pal and Jay.

5 Star Shameless (The Orphan Train Saga Book 2) by Sherry A. Burton is a historical fiction book that once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend reading the first book in this series if you haven’t already. I felt like I was on a emotional rollercoaster ride with my emotions all over the place. Some parts broke my heart while others warmed it. Tobias was born into a abusive family and found himself out on the streets at a young age. He did what he had to do to survive,soon found himself caught up in The Purple Gang. Along the way he meets Mileta. Then there is Cindy and her mother who are continuing there journey through the journals that were hidden in the attic. Find out what happens next in this must read book. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This was an AMAZING box set!! I absolutely loved everything about it! The authors writing was phenomenal and each story was a 5 star read for me! The box set included Lost Bastard, Cold Bastard and Wild Bastard – these are the first three books in the Dark Sparrow series and are well worth a read! The series features 6 brothers and if the first three are anything to go by I cannot wait to meet the next three! It’s difficult to choose a favourite book from this box set as each brother has their own story to tell but if I really had to choose one then I think probably Cold Bastard – there was just something about this story which really pulled me in – it was a little more complex than the other two so I think I was really invested in what was happening and had to work a little harder to fully get to know the characters! This really is an amazing box set that I 100% recommend! I am really looking forward to more to come from this series!

The Complete Fenris series is made up of a fantastic collection of stories – each of them were really enjoyable reads! The stories weren’t overly long which I liked and it was great to go straight on to the next without waiting. I actually read the whole series over a couple of days. I really enjoyed the mythology side to the stories mixed in with some romance. The characters were well thought out and detailed. I think out of the stories in the collection my favourite was probably book 1 in the series – The Monsters Lover. It definitely set the scene well for the rest of the series. I loved Sol and Fenris – the connection they had was just so genuine and could really feel it. I have read other books from this author and I really do enjoy her writing – the stories are easy to read, full of imagination and creativity. I would absolutely recommend this series and I look forward to more from Ms MacLeod in the future.
Anyone that has ever had a struggle communicating with a parent will enjoy Rowena Holloway’s story, All That’s Left Unsaid. There is nothing more frustrating than to speak the same language as another and find out…..you don’t speak the same language. Harriet is not only confused herself, but she is quite confusing in this story. You don’t know whether to feel sorry for her or bark at her. In the end it’s her stubbornness that becomes her most endearing trait. An intriguing mystery that moves along at a brisk little pace. Near the end, I couldn’t put it down. I had to know.
This fell into my hands at just the right time. I loved this book. What an unexpected treat! From the summary I knew I would enjoy it but I wasn’t prepared to be thrown into this new world and become immersed and transfixed so quickly. The characters jumped off the page. The main character and her sudden transport into the Fae Realm, the discovery of the Fae Realm… all of it was extremely well written and fun to read. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick and engaging read and cannot wait to pick up book two in the series. Loved it!

Kells is a mastermind of the romantic suspense genre. This box set is absolutely a must read and must buy. Each book stands solidly on its own but once you read one you will absolutely want to read the rest. I loved each book and love that they are available together now. I absolutely recommend this set and this author. Five stars!

Battling Beckett was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
This is Beckett and Greer’s story. Greer and her mother have recently moved into the house with Beckett and his father, and Beckett is not happy about it. Beckett is adamant that Greer does not act like she knows him at school, he is absolutely terrible to her.
Beckett is a hot as heck quarterback and despite his being mean to her, Greer is starting to have feelings for him. What is wrong with her?
Greer is a strong character and I really enjoyed her. Overall this was a great read and I highly recommend you start today so you can see just how things work out for this family. This is my first read by this author and I can’t wait to read more.

A Dark Sparrow Box Set by India Kells consists of the three books in this series: Lost Bastard, Cold Bastard, and Wild Bastard. This is a really good series that I enjoyed. Cold Bastard by India Kells is the second book in the Dark Sparrow series. I was really looking forward to reading this after reading the first book and I was not disappointed. The story is about Zoe Somersby and Archer Blackwood. Zoe had been brought in to work for Archer as an undercover agent. The characters are well written and allowed the story to flow. There was lots of suspense and mystery as well as a little romance. I really like this is a well thought out story and the characters are interesting people. Everyone is not always what one would assume. I look forward to reading the next book in the series to see where the story goes next. Wild Bastard by India Kells is the third book in A Dark Sparrow series. This tells the story of Kai and Isabel. Kai is trying to take down his father’s business and in the process runs into his past. Isabel after breaking his heart in the past has become a strong woman who has a life and secrets of her own. Will the two find their happily ever after? Like the other books in the series, this can be read as a standalone. I have enjoyed not only this one but the others as well. Characters overlap and it is nice to get Kai’s story. I enjoyed the characters and wanted to see everything work out for them. The problems they encounter are crazy at times but seem to bring them closer and in a better understanding of one another. I enjoyed this book and look forward to others from this author.

The Complete Fenris Series by Samantha MacLeod is an excellent compilation of stories including an extra book. I absolutely loved this series and really enjoyed the prequel novel! The characters are amazing and creative. I also loved the Norse mythology background required to create the storyline and back story of many of the characters. It was easy to get lost in these books without realizing how much time has passed. Each story has an easy to follow flow and is very organized. Fenris was an interesting male and he intrigued me. These books are wonderful and I highly recommend ALL of them.
