I also love that she kept the story on a rollercoaster. That right! This is not your average love story. This is so much more.

“The Reader” by M.K. Harkins is the first gripping book in The Immortal Series by M.K. Harkins. This book blew me away with the originality of the story, amazing characters and nearly non- stop action. To say I was pulled to it is an understatement. I couldn’t stop thinking about it! It starts with a young woman waking up on a beach, not knowing who she is or where she is. From there, the story gets crazy good but I don’t want to give away any details because they are SO GOOD! If you like books that are a bit off the norm, you will love this book! M.K Harkins has built such an interesting world with “The Reader” and I’m hoping for many books to follow! M.K. Harkins really keeps you guessing until the very end how everything will shake out and even in the end, I’m still not sure what lies ahead but I know I can’t wait to read it! This book isn’t very long, so give yourself a few hours to devour this book and get ready for “The Jack!” I clearly give “The Reader” five stars and would give more if I could! Repressed by Meghan O’Flynn is the third book in the Ash Park Series and is another brilliant addition to the psychological thriller series. Repressed is a lot dark and disturbing, a little chilling and super thrilling. Whenever I read anything from Meghan I know I am in safe hands and always enjoy the fascinating and twisted world in which she weaves. The tension and suspense that built, not only in the story but within myself as I watched what these characters went through was compelling and gripping and had me on edge right the way through. I think this maybe the best book in the series to date. Will they survive all that is thrown at them or give up and give in?
I was so engaged and engrossed in this story that I read it all in one sitting. I highly recommend this book to those who like to read something dark and twisted.

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders is sweet contemporary romance story and a great quick read. Tarrah’s writing style is easy and is written in dual POV’s. This story, even though sweet, has a whole lot of hotness and a twist with a side of crazy. There is humor and fun, doubts and fears, love and hurt, suspense and longing but mixed together they draw you in page after page. It is easy to read in one sitting, whilst enjoying sitting in the sun curled up with a nice drink.

Holy fracking wow! Repressed is another impressive chilling thriller from Meghan O’ Flynn. I must confess, after each of the Ash Park novels that I read by the ever talented O’ Flynn, I am more enamored than I was with the previous one I just praised as the best of the series. O’ Flynn really has the knack for drawing in the reader and holding you and your thoughts hostage long after you finish the last page. Each of the books could be read as standalones, but I would read them all and in order. For one, as mentioned, they are all great, but they do build in plot and stories, as well as have characters that we do get glimpses of in each of the books, and two, why not?? It is the perfect season and they are all available to scoop up and enjoy!
Repressed gives us the story of Curt Morrison. I always knew that there was more to Curt but I had no idea what was to come from him that is for sure! (No spoilers here though!) Though, as we follow him in his new life with his wife and adorable new daughter we begin to learn about some deep and dark demons that lay ‘repressed’ in his past. The case that Morrison and Petrosky are working on also becomes an overlying factor and everything Morrison has ever cherished will come into jeopardy. Will he be able to conquer his past demons and do whatever it takes to protect the ones that he loves now? Or will the past finally come to catch up to him?
This book touches on some difficult subjects, like the others have, but it is done in a way that makes the story flow. Every piece is necessary to the novel, and tells the story that the reader needs to fully understand all that is going on. Nothing is done without care to details. You can tell these are topics close to Meghan O’ Flynn’s heart. I personally cannot wait to get my hands on the next novel, which will be right after I finish this review. I think a storm is brewing outside too, perfect weather for an Ash Park novel!! Thank you so much for another amazing novel, Meghan O’ Flynn!
This was my first time reading anything by Cari Schaeffer and I must say, I am not a huge fan of shifter books, or many sci-fi, but I thought, that this one seemed to break the mold a bit just with the synopsis and that I would give it a go. I am honestly glad that I did. It did have a few thing that threw me off a bit. Nothing that would make be throw it out completely or not finish it though, and I was overall impressed.
This did in fact break the mold from the typical shifter books that I have read in the past. Most have been the animal type shifter books, as well as adult type love stories that tend to be the erotic romances that I read. This was along the lines of a coming of age book. Katherine Wolff, our MC, was relatable, and really coming into her own age and womanhood. She is dealing with her body changing and growing up as well as getting ready for her first transformation. I really liked how that opened doors for different emotions to be explored, including humor. This made Katherine and her family and friends relatable and fun to read. Especially, her granny. Oh, and watch out for that cliffhanger. I must confess, I will be back for more in book two, because I have so many questions, and I need answers!

This was a great way to finish off my summer reading list. Those dog days of summer had just really started to finish up and a day in the sun soaking up the sexy saga of Emma and Royce was perfect!
Everyone has one of those great romances gone terribly wrong that ruins it for the ones to come, and Emma is no different. Being hurt in the past has made her a bit jaded and she is not going to let it happen again. So when the summer season is about to hit full swing in her idyllic town of Sweeny she reaffirms her pact with herself to avoid the new catches rolling into town.
Royce is a bit different though. He has come with the intentions of settling down roots. When he meets Emma he instantly feels a connection for with her beyond a friendly level. A drunken one night stand gives him hope. For Emma though, her walls are just as high as they were the day they met. Royce is just as stubborn though…
These two were so much fun to read about. I loved the supporting characters just as much, and can see where we could even get plenty of spin off novellas in the future. Another great escape and sexy read from Tarrah Anders, and one that is gorgeous at that. This must grace my bookshelves at home as soon as possible. Happy reading!

5 Star Repressed : An Ash Park Novel (Volume 3) By Meghan O’Flynn is the third book in her An Ash Park series. I loved this book it was dark,intense and chilling.This is my favorite of this series. If you haven’t read the first two books in this series I definitely recommend reading them as well. Although they can all be read as standalone. I had a hard time putting this book down once I started reading it. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what happens next. There’s a bit of everything in this book, action, suspense and mystery. The more I read in this series the more it’s becoming one of my favorites. I recommend reading not only this Book but the whole series. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

Transformations: The Shifters Series by Cari Schaeffer

A new twist on shifters. This is the first book I have read by this author. Transformations was a interesting read because it took shifting a different route. Like your shifting multiple things not just one animal. At the age of 17 your emotions are already crazy but then you add in Kate’s transition and it’s even worse. Kate is like any 17 year old. She wants to have fun and be normal. But one fateful night many years ago chose something different for her and her family. The many gifts the families hold are so unique. Though Anastasia’s gift is the best. The story is very well written. The moments of heighten emotions are some what tangible. The family bond is felt through every member. The mystery of the spy is shocking. Overall I truly enjoyed this short read. It had a touch of humor and a whole lot of romance. Review by @gguerrero89

5 Star Transformations: The Shifter Series: Volume One ( The Shifters Book 1) By Cari Schaeffer is the first book in her The Shifters Series. I was sucked in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down once I started reading. This is story of Katherine and her family. She is part of a family where the members shift and also go through transformation. Katherine doesn’t want to feel different than anybody else even though she is a teenager. She knows her transformation is coming and she’s upset about it, she just wants to be like other teenagers. Can Katherine’s family trust Christopher? Joker’s Fool is the eighth book in Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett. This book could be read as a standalone without feeling like you have missed anything- but as there are recurring characters in each book, including this one, and this story revisits situations and scenes that occurred in other books- I really recommend reading the other books, as having all the character information and backstories will only enhance your reading experience of this story. As with all the other books in this series, Ms. Mellett has written a wonderfully detailed and emotive story that won me over right from the beginning. I was always intrigued by Joker and Lady’s Man in the previous books, and the little hints and glimpses we got only fueled my curiosity all the more. This is an M/M romance which is the first for this series, but it’s definitely not lacking in any of the detailed elements and spicy romance we have come to expect from Ms. Mellett. These two characters are so easy to love and their story is really wonderful. My heart ached, especially for Joker and what he had been through. As I expected, there is more to their story than meets the eye. This book covers so much from hate, pain, denial, rejection, fear, friendship, unconditional love, camaraderie, brotherhood, feelings, romance, surprises, and more. So, if you love a really well written, riveting MC story- with complex, quirky and loveable characters, and an original plot- then this is definitely the book for you. Be warned though, you may discover that one of Ms. Mellett’s addictive books will definitely not be enough!

This is my first book by this author and i loved it. The authors writing style was great and from the minute i started this story, i couldn’t put it down. I freaking adored these characters. The main characters, Royce and Emma are ones that you know belong together! They were so sweet and lovable!! And i also really liked the secondary characters too!! 5 stars! Ann has no memory of her past. She is taken in by a group of people who call themselves the Readers. They have lived for centuries and are immortal. They also believe Ann is the Lost One, a very powerful Reader who will change their world when she is bonded with her soulmate. There are four different individuals who could possibly fill that role and they all have to see if they have a connection. With the Jacks attempting to steal her new friends work to keep her safe while also helping to restore her memory.
I loved Ann’s character as well as her friends Archer, Devon, and Lucy. They help her so much with the memory loss and the loss of her family. I also loved the excitement the storyline had and how easily it flowed. I could not put this book down.

Summer Fling had my a little worried when I first starting reading it! Tarrah Anders really knows how to jump right into the story. Not what I expected, but I’m glad I stuck it out and kept reading, because I ended up loving the story. It has a lot of emotion and character and relationship building, not just the hot and steamy. The characters are wonderful, and their blossoming relationship is fun to follow. It is the first I have read by Anders, but it wont be my last. I loved her writing style, and plan to read more. Emma lives in a small town, with a heavy tourist season. While summer flings can be fun, after a bad experience, she has sworn them off. But, a drunken encounter doesn’t count, right? Its just a one night stand, or at least that’s what she had planned. What Emma didn’t plan for was the gorgeous sexy Royce to stick around, planning to put down roots in her small town. Royce spends the summer proving he is not going anywhere, and trying to make Emma take a chance on him.

Fisher of Men (Eastern Shore Swingers Book 1) by Phoebe Alexander 5 out of 5 stars
I do not give out a lot of 5 stars. A book must really touch my soul, be incredibly well written, and/or have an a major impact on me to get 5 stars from me. This book has more than earned the 5 stars. Fisher of Men is an erotic romance novel, it’s erotic in the sense and there are some very raunchy parts in it but it’s not as graphic as a blue movie from www.fulltube.xxx. This first in this series and it came crashing through the front door. Leah Miller, daughter of a Preacher Man (Praise Be to Aretha) was raised in a very conservative, Christian household. I would almost call it claustrophobic with its rules and regulations. But instead of following in the parent chosen life, she branched out into Hotel Management and took a job on the East Coast with a hotel called, The Pearl, where she figured she would learn about how the rest of the world live. There she meets and falls for a man aptly named Cap, or Capt Chris Sheldon, who, after attending one of the famous parties hosted by The Pearl, she learns…is a swinger.
This plot, while extreme, has some very relatable characters. Leah and Chris are both very loveable and extreme fun. Chris is super hot. I pictured a Chris Hemsworth look alike in my head, but I also can admit to a small obsession with the Aussie. Ms Alexander has done an incredible job keeping the reader engaged, yet not rushing the story. Her book is both complex, yet delicate in its simplicity that it is a love story. This book is highly recommended for readers of romance, erotic stories and just fans of Phoebe Alexander.

Summer fling is a quirky little novel by Tarrah Anders. This story intrigued me from the title, and just got better from there. The first chapter begins explosively and steamy. That sets the tone for the rest of the story.
Beguiling characters and hilarious secondary characters, together with the electric storyline provided me with a deliciously wonderful few hours of reading. Emma and Royce just had that instant chemistry that was immediately evident. So palpable, I felt like I had a front row seat to bliss.
It was hot, it was heavy, and it was masterfully written. A great escape. 5 stars.

This is the third book in this series, and I highly reccomend starting from the beginning as its a continuation of characters. This book followed Detective Morrison, whom I wanted to know more about. He just always seemed to know things, or have many friendly talks going with many people and got into so easily. This is yet another dark, twisted, great read from this series and each one leaves me wanting more! Cant wait to read the next one!
The Reader is the first book in the Immortal Series by M.K. Harkins. This is not the first book I have read by this author, but it is my new favorite of hers. This Young Adult book had me hooked from the very first page. I read it in one sitting. The witty banter and the intrigue was funny and creative. The characters are likable and the plotline although paranormal is highly believable. I love that this book had me guessing almost till the end, and the twists and turns had me shaking my head thinking what could happen next. This is a great start to a new series, and I can’t wait to see what M.K. has instore for us in the next book in this series.

Summer Fling is a great new adult romance by Tarrah Anders. This is the third or fourth book I have read by Ms. Anders, but it is my new favorite by this author. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. This book is full of sweet romance, sexy hot characters and an intriguing mystery. Emma and Royce have so much chemistry it just rolls off the page. Emma has been burned before when she started a fling with a tourist, they all flood into Time their town for summer vacation. So she is weary of Royce when he moves into town. Thinking he will be leaving with the tourists at the end of the summer, however Royce is here to stay. He just needs to convince Emma of that fact. Another wonderful emotional rollercoaster from Michelle Sullivan! It has it all: true love, loss, drama. As has been my experience with her books before, Sullivan grabbed my attention on the first page. The characters were well developed. They had depth and were flawed and I connected with them emotionally. I was vested in the plot development from first page to last. I highly recommend this page turner – cheers to true love!
So I’ve gone and done it this time, I read this book before Our Next Chapter and although it was ok and I never felt lost I know that after what I read in this story that I had to go back and read the first and Im doing that right this second but wanted to get this review written before the stories got blurred and I mix up my thoughts.
I can not even put in words how much I love this author, this is not my first book by her and will absolutely not be the last, I went into this story without even reading the synopsis, that’s what happens when you read a book by an author on your favorites list, doesn’t matter what the book is about, her name is on it…I read it. This is why I read out of order. I highly recommend this story, the characters were awesome and the dialogue between them was perfect. Noah and Quinn had a relationship that started quite quickly and progressed quite fast but with everything in this story and how it was all written it all totally worked. There is so much more to this story than just a romance between two people. The “parents” were so amazing and I found myself laughing out loud at some of the comments a father had to hear his daughter say, and how he reacted was spot on!
This was such a beautiful story that brought me to tears more than once and even more than twice. The storyline was unique and the talent this author has had me finishing it in one sitting, it all flowed so smoothly and perfectly. Do yourself a favor, read these books..I highly recommend reading Our Next Chapter first..You do not have to but I promise you will wish you had because this whole story is just amazingly beautiful!! One of those books that truly deserves more than just five stars!
Michelle Sullivan’s Our Unexpected Hope is a contemporary romance that centers on Quinn and Noah, their lives, including the highs and lows. This book read well and it was seamless in its transition from chapter to chapter, introduction of new characters and how they interested to other characters. I immediately liked Quinn’s character. Her thoughts, feelings and choices felt realistic, to include how she reacted to events that occur within her life. The dynamic between Quinn and her family was amazing, well done and brilliant. Moving on to Noah, his character was magnetic, something drawing you straight to him, so you can imagine the appeal that he puts off without trying. This story was an emotional read and Michelle Sullivan showcases her talent in the way she had the characters’ handle the events, choices and aftermath from the decisions made. This is a story I took pleasure in reading, one that touched me emotionally, and that I highly recommend.
This story is based in the small town of Sweeny. Emma and her friends own and run a clothing store. They grew up in Sweeny. They live there. The summer time brings tourists to not only their store but the town as well. But only until summer is over. Relationships don’t start in the summer, flings do, because everyone knows tourists leave. Emma has been burned once before by a summer relationship that ended up being a fling.
Royce comes to town with his friends to set up a veterinarian office. They come to town at the beginning of summer like the rest of the tourists do but they plan on staying.
Now Royce and Emma have to decide if a relationship is something they can do. And then as if the summer time isn’t enough of pressure for these two, Anders throws in a couple of crazy little twists.
This is my first book by Anders and I am happy I took a chance on a new to me author! Cute story, good characters, different story-line. This book was easy to read, easy to understand and follow. I can recommend this story and look forward to reading more from Anders.

Ok so this is my first book by this author as well as my first reverse harem. I’ll admit I was a bit worried before I started but the synopsis had me interested enough to give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised that it was nothing like I thought it was going to be. Now it might have something to do with this author and her style of writing. I enjoyed every page and I especially loved the strength and sassiness our lead character showed, and I fell in love with every one of “her” guys, one of them took me a bit, I had a feeling there was a story to tell there and I was right and he grew on me quickly.
I can not wait for the next in this series, it didn’t end on a holy crap throw your kindle and call the author names kind of cliffhanger, but it did end leaving me with a lot of questions and wanting a lot more.
If you have never read a book in this genre I highly recommend giving this one a try. I loved it and the smooth writing style made it a very easy read.

I loved this book! I never hesitate to read one of this author’s books. Each one has a thought out meaning that is heartbreaking and loving at the same time. This is one of my favorites, I couldn’t put it down until the end. A story about love at first sight and the life struggles that come with it. I love the characters Noah and Quinn. I loved their instant attraction and their strong bond. I highly recommend you read their story, you won’t regret it!
Georgia Pine by KG Fletcher is the third book in the Southern Promises Series. Each book in the series just gets better and better. Jessica and Tim have some flammable chemistry that is very hot. Tim is not revealing his past to Jessica because it could cause problems. Is Jessica willing to wait till Tim is ready to share his past history?
The writing in Georgia Pine is engaging, flows and is very descriptive. It keeps you reading from the first page through the last. Georgia Pine takes you on a bumpy emotional roller coaster ride. The characters are well developed, very real and easy to connect with. I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series. I highly recommend Georgia Pine!

I’ve never read a book by this author and was pleasantly surprised by this read! I loved the twists and turns and I was able to be sicked right in. The story,even without the romantic interests , was great. After waking and not remembering what happened, Ann is on the beach injured and finds a community of readers. They believe she’s one of The Lost Ones, and it causes split thoughts in the community. Jealousy causes actions that turn to chaos. I really didnt want this to end, cant wait to read more from this author.

Every time I pick up a book by this author I know that I am going to be in for a read that I cannot put down and I was proved right yet again. Michelle Sullivan has a way of writing that captures your attention from the very beginning, she brings her characters to life in a way that they feel real almost if you are there living their journey with them. My heart literally broke for Noah, to grow up the way he did must have been awful – no child should grow up without knowing what it is like to be loved unconditionally and it makes me so sad that this happens. Quinn’s upbringing was the complete opposite to Noah but when they met they just fit, they were perfect for each other. I know to expect a few emotional moments from this author and this book certainly had a few of them in fact I feel emotional just thinking back on what I have read. I truly loved this story; from beginning to end I was in love with everything about it. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars and it absolutely is one of my favourite reads from 2018! I highly recommend you one click this book today – you won’t regret it!
Transformations by Cari Schaeffer is book one in The Shifter Series. This was actually a book I really enjoyed. It was unlike other shifter books. The premise is actually pretty original. I really enjoyed the writing and characters. This one ended in a cliffhanger and I really want to find out what happens next! I just love that each character has such a unique personality that just adds to the story. 4 star rating.

The story Our Unexpected Hope by Michelle Sullivan is a contemporary romance book. It is a story that I loved reading and I didn’t want to put down until I had finished the last page. It draws you in from the very beginning and I was hooked. It is a story that takes you on an emotional journey and I found myself believing in true love and soulmates. It is a book that is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. It had my emotions going up and down as I felt my way through. I loved reading about Quinn and Noah. Quinn is a woman who is a romantic. She is beautiful, kind, and loving. She is sure that when the right man comes along that she will be able to tell he is the one. She has found herself very attracted to Noah. Noah is the head chef for a restaurant. Something he is proud of. Noah has never really felt the love of a family to call his own. He, however, knows that Quinn is someone special and wants to get to know her. This story/journey is a beautiful one. Life sometimes hands you the unexpected. I grew to love both Quinn and Noah with each chapter that I read. They are both amazing characters that you can root for and want them to be happy. This is a book that had me with a smile on my face and also tears in my eyes. It is one of those stories that stays with you and I found myself thinking about long after I had finished. It is a book that you will not want to miss out on and one I highly recommend reading.
