Midnight in the House of LangMidnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Midnight in the House of Lang is a thrilling dystopian romance novel by Bree M. Lewandowski. This book was so captivating and had me on the edge of my seat. The author was able to describe everything so vividly I felt like I was in the midst of all the action. Set in future Vienna, this novel tells the story of Thea Lang, the emperor’s granddaughter, and Captain Irek Surov. As war breaks out in Austria, Thea and her brother flee to safety in Belarus. This is where she meets Irek. There is no hope for their future because of where they come from, but will that stop the two from falling in love? You’ll have to read this story to find out.

5-Stars

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery is compiled of three amazing stories. Each features amazing characters with unique stories. They each have an excellent flow and easily pulls readers in. Once you start reading don’t expect to stop anytime soon. My favorite story in this series was Badge Bunny. I could not resist Chris in this story and I absolutely adored Brynne. They were funny and I loved the secret Chris had. You really could not ask for a better set of books. I highly recommend it.

Romance is worth the reading. The comedy is fun too.

This is Kat Chalmers, the co-host of a popular current affairs program and an acclaimed interviewer with great skills. Then there is Matt Goodridge or should I say Dr. Matt. An obstetrician who is not only good looking, but interested in his hot neighbor. Will these two strong minded independent people take a chance? Open their hearts and let down those walls? You will not be dissapointed!

Belinda Williams is a new author for me. I fell in love with her first sentence of chapter one. This story tests your own emotions. Let’s not forget the characters Ms. William has written about. The reading is fast paced, so much so,you will not want to put it down. I have found a new author! Thank You Belinda Williams!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Anna Hirsch

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Book 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series
By K.L. Montgomery
4 Stars

This series takes place in Rehoboth Beach. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. There are recurring characters throughout the series. Each book is a romantic comedy. The best thing about these books are that the characters are regular people. Some are overweight, divorced, are dealing with handicapped children and have crazy families. The characters are likeable and readers can relate to them.

Badge Bunny: The story centres around Sonnet and Drew’s wedding but is about Chris and Brynne. So much craziness happens from sharks to crazy parents, bites to baseball bats. I was crying from laughing so hard. This is definitely my favourite book.

Wedding War: A family feud has been going on for the past twenty years. Jason and Hannah try to unite against a common enemy. Espionage and hilarious events ensue but can the families put aside their differences for these two lovebirds?

Stage Mom: Larissa’s daughter has Down syndrome and decides that she wants to be in the little girls pageant. Mateo’s family has run the pageant for the last forty years and is a stickler for tradition. When he decides to make some changes, the whole town is in an uproar. With lighthearted comedy and romance, the author tackles discrimination and racism in this book. The story is definitely a winner.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set ( Books 4-6)Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The second Romance in Rehoboth box set collects books 4-6 of K.L. Montgomery’s series. It’s a really enjoyable series of entertaining and heart-warming romantic comedies, set by the beach. Each story works as a standalone, but with the small-town setting you’re always bumping into familiar characters and the box set allows you to get to know the people and places that bit better.
I read Badge Bunny a couple of years ago and loved it! Brynne and Chris both have jobs where they are often responding to emergencies which means that there’s plenty of action and tension in this book, which makes it even more of a relief when the characters get time to enjoy each other’s company.
Wedding War focuses on the threat of superstores to small family businesses – if you like You’ve Got Mail then this is right up your street! Jason and Hannah overcoming their differences to unite against a common enemy is fun to read.
Stage Mom is a particularly poignant read, with single mum Larissa willing to move mountains for her daughter. When Hailey, who has Down Syndrome, decides she wants to take part in a pageant Larissa has to fight to make the pageant inclusive.
There’s plenty of variety in these stories, and so much to enjoy! The collection gets five stars from me. With this, and the other box set that brings together the first three books in the series, you’ve got holiday (or lockdown) reading sorted!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Karyn Taylor

Romance In Rehoboth Boxed Set:Books 4-6 contains the 3 full length novels which make up books 4-6 of the Romance In Rehoboth series by K.L. Montgomery. These books are:
Badge Bunny (book 4) – cop meets ER doc and boy do they bump heads.
Wedding War (book 5) – two rival families trying to save wedding businesses.
Stage Mom (book 6) – a single mom with a daughter meets a nice guy.
These and the first 3 books can all be read as standalones but there are connected characters that appear in several of the books but this will not prevent you from reading them as standalones. I had read book 4 long before reading any of the others and it didn’t spoil anything for me.
A feature of these books, like the 3 before them is that K.L. Montgomery does not shy away from having characters that others writer would not use. In books 5 & 6, 2 of the lead characters are from BAME and book 6 centres around a child with Downs Syndrome. I do love that K.L. Montgomery uses characters that are more realistic to everyday life and are therefore much more relatable to the reader.
Another great selling point of these books is the humour they contain. All of the books in the series are comedies and provide a great deal of humour for the reader. There are many situations throughout all of the books where the main characters get themselves into some very funny situations.
All in all, this is a really great box set and all 3 books are 5 star reads which I really recommend to other readers.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) by K.L. Montgomery
5 of 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this box set by K.L. Montgomery, it contains three more complete novels in her small town romantic comedy series. Having read the first box set of books 1-3, I was looking forward to more ‘Romance in Rehoboth’ stories and I was not disappointed. Each story has a strong but quirky heroine and a down to earth hero who loves them, your guaranteed a happy ending but only after some drama and fun along the way and each story has the background setting of the beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Book one is, Badge Bunny, State Trooper Chris Everson meets ER Doctor Brynne Miller who in the course of her job has met and dated so many cops that her friends call her, ‘badge bunny’, however the two do not have a great first impression of each other in this enemies to lovers romance. Brynne is a likeable and relatable strong female character and I love how her relationship with Chris develops after he managed to annoy her on their first meeting but neither can deny their attraction for each other.
Wedding War, is another enemies to lovers comedy romance, both Jason Friday’s family and Hannah Robinson’s run a wedding business. Jason’s makes sure the grooms of Delmarva are stylish and Hannah’s family ensures the bride’s are happy on their big day. The two families have had an undoing feud for over twenty years but when bridal superstore, Über Brides sets up in Rehoboth Beach the two rival families must work together to save their wedding businesses. However Hannah and Jason did not intend to fall in love in the process, but their chemistry sizzles off the page. Another great couple and a fun romantic story.
Book three, Stage Mom, and Larissa Emerson is a strong women and fiery with it she has had to fight for so much in her life especially to ensure that her special needs daughter is treated fairly and equally. After many disappointments with men and as a single Mum she has sworn off men but when she meets Mateo Flores she can not deny her attraction and neither can he. Mateo is running the ‘Little Miss Rehoboth pageant’, for the first year and doesn’t want to mess it up. Although he was prepared to deal with the stereotypical pageant Mums he was not prepared for Larissa who when her daughter Hailey asks to take part in the pageant goes out to fight for her daughters place. Mateo finds Larissa a force of nature and soon discovers he just can’t say no to her. This was another great story by Montgomery who is never afraid to tackle sensitive issues this time by Larissa’s daughter Hailey having Down Syndrome, but does so sensitively and with humour.
Three great stories with amazing characters and a beautiful beach setting, the storyline of all three flows easily and I was happily immersed in Rehoboth Beach’s romantic comedy stories once again whilst reading this box set.

Kat is a woman with a successful career and is a local celebrity in her hometown. She’s satisfied with her life, or so she thinks. She meets Matt in the most interesting way and life gets more interesting from there.

Matt is Super Doc and shows that to us several times. He is smart, confident, humble and vulnerable which made me fall for him. I loved that he isn’t the typical perfect, flawless book boyfriend.

My big question is how did I not know about this author before I stumbled on this book? I have no idea how that happened but now that I have found her I’m going to get caught up with everything she has released so far and I will be keeping up with this series.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) by K.L. Montgomery

5 out of 5 stars
Romance in Rehoboth boxed set is book 4-6 written by K.L. Montgomery is awesome. This author has hit it on the mark with her Rehoboth series. I simply love the characters they are strong and don’t take any crap. The plots are awesome and funny.

Book 1: Badge Bunny – cop meets ER doc in this enemies-to-lovers tale: Brynne Miller’s job as an ER doctor means she’s always meeting cops. In fact, she’s dated so many that her friends/coworkers call her “Badge Bunny.” But she will never date Chris Everson. Nope. Not a chance. He managed to piss her off within two seconds of meeting him and first impressions are everything.
Aren’t they?
Chris Everson has a pretty sweet life: a great job as a state trooper, lots of buddies to hang out with, and he lives at the beach. What could be better? But he’s harboring a secret–a secret that doesn’t fit with his whole tough guy cop persona. He’s gone to great lengths to keep his secret from his guy.

Book 2: Wedding War – can the offspring of two rival families save their wedding businesses without falling in love? Hannah and Jason are both involved in their family wedding businesses. They have always been told to stay away from each other due to some type of feud between their respective families although neither knows exactly what the feud is about. When a common enemy comes to town that threatens to put both families out of business Hannah and Jason decide to form an alliance to save the family businesses. Can these two make a difference in their prospective business? Will they find out what started the family feud?
Book 3: Stage Mom – a single mom fights for her special needs daughter while the nice guy learns to take a stand – Larissa, a single mom who has a daughter participating in the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant, and Mateo, the new director of the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. This is the first year that Mateo has been trusted to run the pageant by himself.
Larissa is fighting for her daughter Hailey who has down syndrome tells her mom she wants to participate in a pageant. Yes, she is different yes, she has coordination problems, or any kind of talent doesn’t mean she should be excluded in the pageant. So, what does Larissa do she fights hard for what her daughter wants she is tired of being told no or being let down.
I highly recommend this book….

4 Stars!!!!

I just absolutely adore this book series. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a down to earth romance. I just love how
the author takes everyday people and brings them together. The books just really tend to flow one from the other. I really really recommend this series. It is the best for being sat on a beach and losing oneself to sitting at home tucked under the covers on a rainy cold night.

If I had to pick just one of the three books in this set I would pick the first well book 4 Badge Bunny. I just love how the author is able to bring the doctor and the police officer together. I could really relate to Brynne as her outlook on men and specifically certain types of guys. There as just something about Chris though that really drew you to him and you really routed for him to get the girl. I was really impressed with the way the author had a twist for Chris and that it really made him even more charming and what a girl really wants in a man type guy. I was glued to the pages to see how the relationship would play out as Brynne was really being stubborn.

I have to admit that I am really eager to read the final two books. I want to see where the author takes this series. I really like her comedy and lighthearted way in which she brings the romance. The books are all unique in their own rights and also flow with the predecessor. I have always been glued to the pages and the author really knows how to keep my attention. I really can’t shout out enough how great this series is and I will be glued to the next two books.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I give License to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy (New Orleans Nocturnes Book 1) by Carrie Pulkinen, 5 stars.

This is a fun Paranormal Romance set in New Orleans. Jane comes across as entitled and spoiled in the beginning of the book. Considering that Ethan is a brooding, depressed vampire, they actually balance each other out. Not to mention that as the book goes on, they bring out more and more of the best of one another. While Jane did annoy me in the beginning of the book, her good qualities really come out as the book does on.

The story is good one too and not necessarily one I’ve read before. Not to mention Jane’s aversion to blood. It is refreshing to read something different in a paranormal romance. Then there is the frustrating feelings Jane and Ethan have for each other. Yes this part has been done before, but the author still makes it entertaining.

If you are a fan of Paranormal Romance set in such an interesting city, this book is for you.

Ethan Deveraux is a vampire living in New Orleans with his sire Gaston, when he sees Jane in a bar he’s sure she’s his lost love, turns out she’s nothing like her and Ethan isn’t sure what he’s letting himself in for when he saves Jane’s life.

The tension between the main characters are fun/flirty to serious. This series brings laughter and joy to the reader through the characters in the story. Sweet Salvation (The Protectors Series Book 3) by Toya Richardson – Review by Angela Hayes

Sweet Salvation (The Protectors, #3)Sweet Salvation by Toya Richardson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Sweet Salvation is the third book in The Protectors series by Toya Richardson. As Ms. Richardson is a new to me author, I really didn’t know what to expect from her story- but the blurb intrigued me enough to want to one click a copy and explore it. This is a great paranormal romance, with shifters, fated mates, drama, danger, suspense, trauma, action, revenge, and emotion.
Josh could never have imagined that a trip to Spain to visit a supernatural community would turn into such a high-stakes adventure. The last thing he expected was to connect with his fated mate. But there is much more to the story and situation than first appears, and much hanging in the balance. What will the future hold for Josh and Manuela? This is well worth the read to find out.
I came into this series at the wrong end- as this is the third book. It could be read as a standalone, as I discovered- but having said that there were a few occasions where I felt that knowing what happened in those previous books might have given me more insight, and background information to what was happening here. So, I will definitely be going back to read the previous books to see if I am right.
If you love a great paranormal story with action, adventure, suspense, and a wonderful romance- then this is definitely the book for you!
Looking forward to the rest of the series now!

Thank you, Toya Richardson!

ThrowbackThrowback by Zeia Jameson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Throwback by Zeia Jameson is an emotive New Adult story full of heartache, love, hope, healing, and drama. It is a little different from the other books of Ms. Jameson’s that I have read- but just as well written and engrossing. It explores the highs and lows of a relationship and show that anything good takes hard work to endure.
Livy has had a bit of a hard life and has a jaded view on love and relationships. Then she meets Jeremy who is determined to prove her tarnished perspective is wrong. They love hard and fall fast. But then things take an unexpected turn and things begin to sour. Their strong connection begins to fall apart. What happens when they are forced to remember what they once had? Will it rekindle their love- or tear them apart permanently?
A well-woven, complex, and emotive story that pulled me in right from the very beginning and held my attention and toyed with my emotions- right till the end! As I was reading this story, I couldn’t help but think that this would make a great movie!
I wonder what Ms. Jameson has in store for us next?

Thank you, Zeia Jameson!

AHHHH! I absolutely loved reading Carrie Pulkinen’s book Licensed to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy which is the first book in the series New Orleans Nocturnes. I was excited to read this book as I used to live in Louisiana and LOVE New Orleans and all the paranormal that surrounds it. Jane goes on a girl’s trip to Mardi Gras with a few friends, she didn’t realize she would end up in the arms of a vampire and wake up as one. The irony of it all this is blood makes her faint so how can she pass this? Can Ethan help her get her license? What comes of these two? I love Jane and Ethan; their banter and chemistry is amazing. This story was addicting from the first chapter and I can’t wait to read more of this series!

Dystopian stories aren’t what I usually read but I’m glad I decided to read this one because I loved it.The author took me on an adventure of action, danger, romance, originality and great world building. So much changed for Thea and her brother after the war reached Austria and they became refugees. I enjoyed the character growth and the detail in this book made the story that much more real and vivid. This was a great read and I highly recommend this book.

License to Bite: A Paranormal Romantic Comedy by Carrie Pulkinen is the first book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series. If you are looking for a lighthearted read this is something to grab. A case of mistaken identity is soon figured out and Ethan needs to figure out how to get Jane to become less leary of blood.
I enjoyed the banter between the two characters especially as Ethan tries to train Jane for her license so she doesn’t get staked. This isn’t the same old vampire story. The characters are fun and there are many laughs in this story. I look forward to what happens in the series next.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy SeriesRomance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by KL Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) by K.L. Montgomery is part of A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series. Each of the books takes place in Rehoboth Beach and can be read as a standalone story. My recommendation is to read them in order because there are characters which carry over from book to book. Each book features two people and will be sure to give you a HEA. I have finished two in this set and will give you a bit of my thoughts on each.
The three books in this set include: Badge Bunny, Wedding War, and Stage Mom.
Badge Bunny by K.L. Montgomery is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. This book focuses on the story of Chris Everson and Brynne Miller. Chris is a state trooper and Brynne is an ER doctor. Both are strong with a bit of a stubborn streak. When they first met Brynne gets a bad opinion of Chris. Can he change her first impression?
Like the other books in the series, this is a sweet reminder that there is someone for each and every one of us. After being forced together for parts in a wedding party they discover one another. I like that Montgomery keeps the lead female strong and spunky and full of life. It is nice that these women are strong but not obnoxious. The men are sweet and caring but not wimps. The characters are realistic who are funny and caring but also have their faults. No one is perfect.
Wedding War features Hannah and Jason. Both of their families own competing wedding wear businesses but there is a new enemy in town. Über Brides is a big box wedding store aiming to take out all the competition. Although Jason and Hannah’s family have an ongoing feud can the two of them take down the new enemy. Both of them are sweet and determined. Also, Hannah is a smarty. They are young but have a pretty firm grasp of what they want in their futures.
I look forward to reading Stage Mom to see what story is next.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery is a must for anyone who loves romantic comedies. KL has gotten the formula down pat and provides much needed comic relief. With these wonderful stories all in one boxset you can’t go wrong.

Badge Bunny (Romance in Rehoboth Book 4) is the fourth book in the series and just as fun as the others. I enjoy reading books that K.L. writes as they are fun and quirky and make you laugh out loud. I also love that she writes in several POV’s which makes them even funnier when you are reading from the male perspective. I absolutely adored each one I have read. I suggest you read them in order as the characters cross over and make them feel like old friends. One Cop possibly looking for love, One Doctor sworn off Cops, One Wedding, One Storm and some misunderstandings make for some interesting times and one great read. Trust me when I say you can not, not read this series. I can’t wait to see what K.L. has for us next.

Wedding War (Romance in Rehoboth Book 5) is the fifth book in the series and such a joy. It is crazy and wonderful and unexpected. How KL comes up with the ideas she does I would love to know. Because if it is based on anything real then I need to know. I laughed until I cried and it was just what I needed to escape reality. I absolutely love the band of friends who are more than happy to help out with any wild and crazy things needed when helping friends in need.  It is almost a slap stick at it’s best.

All The Wrong Reasons (Serendipity Falls Novel Book 1) by Erin Bevan – Review by Liz Vrchota

All The Wrong ReasonsAll The Wrong Reasons by Erin Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Well Erin Bevan was a new author to me when I picked up All The Wrong Reasons, the first in her Serendipity Falls series, but I can assure you it will not be my last time reading her work! I absolutely loved this romance story and how well this book played out. This is one of those must read types of novels for me, I love a good friends’ turn to lovers’ novel and this is sure one of the best I have read this year. I

We find Alexandra Mills and Max Buchanan as the main characters of this novel and these two will make you fall in love with love again. Alex finds herself in a predicament when she is pregnant from a one night stand. The major catch comes when we find out that she is a Christian School teacher. This could mean that she would lose everything. Enters the ever lovely Max. Max is a political figure and needs to protect his image as well but wants to help out Alex. The two embark on the journey of a marriage of convenience and well the rest you will have to read for yourself. Will these two find the love they were not even looking for? How mess will their decisions make their lives? I can’t wait to see what else will come in this series and any other novels that Erin Bevan may have available now to read!

Rise (The Larussio Legacy Book 2) by Via Mari – Review by Liz Vrchota

Rise (The Larussio Legacy, #2)Rise by Via Mari
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rise is the second installment in The Larussio Legacy Series from Via Mari. I never question a novel when it comes to her and usually know I am going to get a pretty good punch for my reading time with her novels. I love how I always feel transported to the place the characters are in and as if I am right there experiencing the novel right along with the characters. This book is no different and really keeps you on your toes as you read. I loved the first book and was so happy to get back into the story of Gio an Serena, these two are sure to steal your heart and your attention. I know they sure had mine. I loved how this book didn’t skip a beat and picked right up where we left off in book one and progressed rather quickly into this book’s main story line. I can’t get enough of Gio and this man just completely stole whatever I had left of my heart in this book. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one and see where things will go for these two then. I am sure it will be one heck of a wild and exciting ride!

Why (Stalker Series Book 2) by Megan Mitcham – Review by Liz Vrchota

Why (Stalker Series Book 2)Why by Megan Mitcham
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Why is the second book in the Stalker Series from Megan Mitcham and I swear these books just keep on getting better and better. I don’t think you absolutely have to read book one before reading this one but I would recommend it personally as I feel like the effect of the story is better read in the correct order.

I loved this novel and how it managed to keep my stomach in knots from the near beginning till the end. It kept me guessing and asking what was going on and what would come next the whole time. I love books like these that make you feel as if you are actually watching a movie in your head while you read. In Why we find Genevieve as our leading lady and she is on a mission to help her boss. He has been accused of a vicious crime Genevieve steps up to defend him when everyone else turns their backs on him. Things get super interesting when Genevieve starts to unravel things about her boss that she never knew before or found hard to believe. Does she really know her boss like she thinks she does? Is she ready to uncover the real and whole truth? The book will have all the answers and more for you! I can’t wait to see what will come next and if there will be more Stalker books from Megan Mitcham!

Southern Promises: The Complete Series (A Contemporary Romance Standalone Box Set) by K.G. Fletcher – Review by Liz Vrchota

Southern Promises: The Complete Series (A Contemporary Romance Standalone Box Set)Southern Promises: The Complete Series by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I just love when one of my favorite authors takes a favorite series of mine and combines them into one sweet neat package box set. I love sharing these with friends for gifts and this makes it so convenient when I can give them the first three books in a series all at once. When I found out Southern Promises would be put into a box set, well the first three in the series anyway, I was super excited to get my hands on a few of these. These books are sweet and fun as well as full of meaningful story lines and beautiful backdrops for the amazing cast of characters we get to meet. I have included my individual reviews for each book below.

Georgia Clay (Southern Promises, #1)
I was completely swept away with this novel from KG Fletcher. I honestly had no sense of time or consciousness outside of the world that was being built around Clay and Katie as I was reading. I am dying for more and anxiously await the second installment in this trilogy. If you are new to Fletcher like I was, then you can go and catch some of her other novels while you wait.
Georgia Clay has it all; the hot successful song-writer male love interest, a strong willed and determined woman with a heart of gold waiting to be loved, music, and a story line to die for. I am always a mega-fan of novels that incorporate music into the story and this one ups the ante on the game. Not only in there a playlist available to enjoy, but and ORIGINAL song made for this book, written by Fletcher! It accompanies the vibrant backdrops of Nashville that Clay brings to life and elevates the love story with each and every song.
I will not spoil the plot too much here for you, because that would be a tragedy but I will share a little about Clay and Katie…
Clay Watkins has a knack for writing amazing songs. He has written several number one songs in fact. He is in a good place in his life, minus the right person to share it with. He attends his ten-year high school reunion with the goal to run into his old crush, Katie.
Katie is one strong and successful woman. She has flourished as an insurance broker and her job is basically her life. Relationships with anyone that go anywhere are something that doesn’t really fit in with her work schedule or ethic. Katie’s best friend decides she needs to go to this reunion and get out a little. When she runs into Clay she gets more of a reunion than she bargained for.
Will the two be able to chase this feeling that envelopes them that first night they are reunited? Can it withstand the stresses of distance and life that is put on it? You will enjoy every moment of this sweet, sweet, love story. I can’t wait to see what will come next!

Georgia On My Mind (Southern Promises #2)
Georgia on My Mind is the second installment in the Southern Promises Trilogy from KG Fletcher. Much like the first in the series, this one is a sweet and emotional love story woven around some amazing music.
We get the hot, hot, hot story of Gia and Hartford, Hart, in this novel. These two have a sizzling hot chemistry that will ignite you as you read their story. Fletcher weaves the romance around intrigue and drama that makes the story so relatable and easy to devour.
We first met Hart as just Katie’s brother from the first novel, Georgia Clay. Hart has had to move home after a situations that tore his life to bits. He is tasked with house sitting for his sister and deciding what he will do next with his life. Enters Gia. She is a big personality that was so much fun to read. Hart decides that helping Gia will be his next step in life, no matter how much Gia may want to turn down his help. When the flames ignite will the two have a chance at a long-lasting future together or will there be other directions in the cards for them? Can they reach a happily ever after together?
I was not as into this story as much as the last one, but I did love it. I am anxious to see what will come next in the final book of the trilogy. I hope that it isn’t too long of a wait!

Georgia Pine (Southern Promises #3)
I have personally read the first two books in the Southern Promises books by KG Fletcher, but they are written in a way that you could read them as standalone novels. I would recommend that you read them all though, and feel as if you will feel the same once you finish this one, and fall for Tim and Jessica as I have. They are great little romance reads to escape into, you can’t really go wrong.

Like I stated above, in Georgia Pine we get the story of Jessica and Tim. These two are just too darn perfect. I absolutely was enamored with them by the time I had finished the last page, and frankly I want more! Jessica is fresh off a difficult divorce and left to fend on her own for her and her four daughters. Learning to be a single mother and a single woman is no easy feat. In swoops the brooding and handsome gardener, Tim. Tim has his own demons that he is hiding under his full beard, and even his name. There is so much more to him that she could ever know. But at the root of it all they have a spark. It is ignited and they are spun together into a fast developing love. Of course, life eventually catches up to everyone though. What will happen when the secrets come out? Can Jessica still love Tim? Will they be able to put the past behind them for good? You will have to pick up this little gem to find out for yourself!
