Via Mari is truly a gifted writer with the ability to write an emotionally charged romance that is filled with complex characters, a layered plot (that continues several stories from previous books)… it stands on its own well but is more fully appreciated in the context of Mari’s entire universe. Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M Lewandowski is a dystopian romance and is an interesting and intriguing read. It is a steampunk sci-fi and unique in Bree’s telling as she has cleverly woven the threads together with her wonderful world building. Her vivid words make the world seem real and the journey is set in a future where the world has been ravaged by war and society has been reduced back to horses and steam power to airships and much more. I am looking forward to seeing what Bree has in store for us next and where she will take us.

Anger (Hero High Book 2) by Mina Chara was a quick and easy read. I loved that I was pulled in easily to the works focusing on Hero High. The author gives a bit of back story similar to what you would see with a tv series. As in previously on…. I loved Friday once again in this second book and holy cow the slow build up between her and Ashley. I loved it. I can’t wait to read more on them. I was intrigued still with the golden syringe and there is definitely more going on. I can’t wait to read what happens in the next book! Such a great and fun read!

License to kill is a paranormal romance, but has a very different, and more current feeling, to others I have read in the same genre. Jane is a travel blogger and is visiting New Orleans during Mardi Gras, with her best friend Sophie, to experience everything there is to offer and document it in her blog. The girls find themselves slightly worse for wear and end up being rescued by dashing, yet brooding, vampire Ethan. The following day, still thinking about Ethan, Jane is fatally wounded in an accident and Ethan is forced to bite her in order to save her, but there is more behind his decision than first thought. I really enjoyed the fast pace of the story, it fitted well with the Mardi Gras setting. And the characters are fun and flirty, not your usual vampire story types, which made it even more enjoyable.

Enemies of Doves by Shanessa Gluhm is an intricate and in depth story of 2 brothers and the secrets they keep for a lifetime. I found this book to be unexpectedly emotional and completely captivating. Once I had started this book I simply couldn’t put it down. I devoured it all in one sitting and just wished it could have been even longer. I have never read anything by this author before and after reading this book I cannot understand why. Her writing was so good it completely grabbed my attention. The story was well written and woven together so well that I found myself entirely immersed in the book. I was at the end of it before I knew it because I just could not stop reading at all. The characters were what made this book really interesting. Getting to read about different ones in different timelines was brilliant. I know I will be giving this book a re-read and I will be checking out all other books by this author. You should definitely read this book!

This was a really good psychological thriller. Why, by Megan Mitcham is a very well written book. Very easy to read, the story flows effortlessly and keeps you intrigued and turning the pages one after another. Genevieve our heroine in this story has such a desire for justice and she’s driven to it even to her detriment. And I’m always looking for the story within the story and I really love the way the author deals with how we view our past and the guilt that we have over the different things in our past and how we deal with that. How it holds us back how it chains us to those events in the past and sometimes prevents us from moving on into the future. A good solid thriller even though the story does get a little bit hot and steamy and some may be a little uncomfortable with that.

I have been eagerly waiting for the second book in this series to arrive on my kindle – I LOVED book 1 – it was such a riveting and exciting read and I couldn’t wait to see if the author was able to continue that over into the next book and she absolutely did! We met the main character Genevieve in the first book and I was looking forward to finding out more about her! She was an awesome main character! She’s strong, sassy and good at her job as a prosecutor. With her new case a little more personal she is ready to defend her mentor but as expected there were some great twists and turns along the way! I was on the edge of my seat the whole way through with this story! It was yet again another outstanding read from Ms Mitcham! I am so, so looking forward to the next book in the series!

Anger is book 2 in the Hero High series and is set in the near future world of Icon City which is a haven for ‘powered one-percenters’. The story centres around Friday Fitzsimmons who is now in her second year at Hero High which is a famous school for people with powers. However Hero High is not just a school for trainee superheroes it is also a reality TV show and one of many on the Hero Channel. Friday discovers that she can not trust the ‘Hero Channel’ and that someone is lying to her but does not know who. Friday must stop the real super villains along with her hero, Captain Fantastic but is not sure who the actual bad guys are. Although this is a short story it packs a lot in and it has a fast paced storyline and the world building is great and really pulls you in so you feel totally immersed in Icon City. I like Friday as the main character as she is a strong and independent young lady but she is also very relatable as she suffers from anxiety but does her best to hide this especially from the cameras. I found the introduction at the beginning helpful explaining how Icon City came about and also a brief recap on book one which means you could read this as a standalone story. Personally I think you would appreciate the story better having read book one, Denial. It was an exciting read and a good second book, I look forward to future books in the Hero High series.

If you liked Denial, then you will love Anger. Mina Chara picks up right where Denial ended. I love the characters with her story. There is one small problem, you do not know who are the bad people and who are good people. One way Mina Chara held my attention is that every time I think I know who is who here comes a detail to deter me from finding out the answers I seek. It is a fast pace story. It kept me at the edge of my seat. The mystery and adventure will keep you wanting more and more. I highly recommend reading Denial first so you can get all of the groundwork for the characters as well as Icon City. Then I would read Anger to see what else is going on.

Badge Bunny by KL Montgomery is book four of the Romance in Rehoboth series. This book can be read as a standalone but characters from the previous books are present in this book as well. This book is Brynne and Chris’ story.
Brynne doesn’t exactly find herself with a lot of free time due to her job. Therefore, she meets guys the only way she can. She can’t help that they happen to be police officers. But even so, her coworkers have dubbed her with the badge bunny nickname. She swears she’s done dating police officers after the last disaster but she certainly doesn’t expect to meet Chris shortly after swearing them off.
Chris is a Delaware State Trooper and finds himself pretty smitten with Dr. Miller. He can’t stop thinking about her and it works out in his favor that he’ll be spending a weekend in close proximity to her for his best friends wedding.
A series of events had Brynne and Chris bonding. Brynne starts to realize Chris may not be as bad as she originally portrayed him in her mind. Can Brynne let the police officer stereotype she has in her mind go and give Chris a chance? Will Chris finally be true to who he really is?
I really enjoyed this book. It evoked a lot of feeling but also had me laughing at some parts as well. You could definitely witness the growth of the characters by the end of the book and I was glad to be on that journey with them! Definitely a great book to read!

Read Between The Lines (Freshwater Book 1) by Belinda Williams is a contemporary romance story. Belinda has written the story that has included sensitive issues and has done a great job with it. The story has humour and lots of emotion and drama which makes it relateable and interesting. The characters are endearing, and fun and made for an enjoyable read. This is the second book in the series, and i liked it just as much as the first book. This is a young adult story that kept me turning page after page. This story has action, mystery and villains. Who is who? Who is watching? You don’t know exactly what is happening, and hopefully the MC finds out before its to late. I enjoyed the the story and the mystery of it and i am looking forward to reading more of this series and more by this author. I would recommend this to a friend! Happy Reading.

Enemies of Dovesby Shanessa Gluhm is a real surprise package, in the best possible way. This is Ms. Gluhm’s debut novel, so I wasn’t sure what to expect- but the blurb sounded intriguing so I took a chance and jumped right in. What I found was an intricately woven story full of wonderfully detailed and descriptive scenes that spun this story into a real web of intrigue. Full of suspense, family dynamics, secrets, mystery drama, jealousy, deception, regrets, emotion, love, lies, the truth, and sensitive topics, which all unfolds over duel timelines- made this an unputdownable read. I won’t get into the storyline here, because I don’t want to spoil it for you. I also think some books are worth diving into a little “blind” and letting the story surprise you. This is one of those books. I am highly anticipating Ms. Gluhm’s next novel, and can’t wait to see what she has in store for us!

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by KL Montgomery
This set has books four through six in the series and I loved each of them. Each story has Romance but it’s heavy on the humor and the schemes the couples find themselves involved alone are worth reading.
Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series. I have been loyal to this series since book one and will continue to read the series as long as she writes them.
Brynne is my soulmate. Her love on the old school metal bands made me love her that much more. Chris is a big softy in a hot police officers body.
So much happened in this book, and I’m not sure which part was my favorite. I think it was one of their moments in the hospital after Chris had a rather interesting call.
Wedding Wars is the fifth book and it was great. I loved watching the little guy stand up to the giant and wish Mom and Pop shops could fight the evil empire big corporation stores.
Hannah and Jason have so much history with one another but it was adjacent not direct history which I think made their story that much sweeter and hilarious.
I still can’t decide my favorite scene, it’s either the carriage ride or the big wedding. Both of those had me flipping pages as fast as I could read them.
The final book in this set is Stage Mom and Hailey had me wrapped around her finger from the moment we met her. What an amazing little girl and her mom Larissa is responsible for that.
Mateo has great ideas on how to bring the pageant into the current century and making it his after his grandmother retired.
There are so many things I loved about this particular story, but they could be considered spoilers and I wouldn’t want to ruin anything for anyone.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed set, books 4-6 are just as wonderful as the first boxset with books 1-3. K.L Montgomery has a way with words, that makes you feel like you’re right there alongside the characters. I love that they are all clean romantic comedies, with strong female and male leads. There is a lot of fun chemistry between the characters. Each can be enjoyed as a stand alone novel, each focusing on a new couple. There is mention and cross over characters from previous books, but they are just friends mentioned in passing. I love that each book has its own soundtrack. Badge Bunny is the first in the box set, and based on the name, I was a little worried about the content. Rest assured, it is clean and a good story. It follows Chris Everson, state trooper and Brynne Miller, ER MD. Both work crazy 12 hour shifts for the last couple of years, but somehow haven’t crossed paths until now . And now it seems like they see each other daily. Chris gets on Brynne’s nerves from day one, but try as she might, she cannot avoid him. Turns out they are even paired together at mutual friend’s wedding. During said wedding, they are brought to the test and must work together to save lives. Wedding War was hilarious. It is like a modern day Romeo and Juliet, following Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson. Their families have had a feud for as long as they both can remember, and neither knows why. They decide to join forces, in secret, to try to take down a new business in town. Both families are in the formal wedding ware business, and a discount store in town is set to put them both out of business. Hannah gets a job at the competitor and performs a bunch of pranks and ploys to destroy their reputation and hopefully put them out of business. Book 3 Stage Mom follows Larissa Emerson and Mateo Flores. Larissa is a single mom with a special needs daughter, in the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. Mateo is the new director of the pageant and is tired of dealing with these uptight moms. However, the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Badge Bunny is the fourth book in the Romance in Rehoboth series and the first book in this Boxed Set by K.L. Montgomery. This romantic comedy can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend you read the whole series because all the books are just as good. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and had me staying up way past my bedtime to finish it. I love the characters. They are true to life. The witty banter made me laugh out loud. Brynn is a strong female character, she is an ER doctor who has a predilection for men in uniform and Chris is a State Trooper who finds himself fascinated with Brynn. This book will have you laughing one moment and reaching for a tissue the next. I have to say this is my favorite book of the series so far. If you are looking for a great fall romance this is the book for you.
Wedding War: An Enemies-to-Lovers Book is the fifth book in the series and the second book in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. This book is full quirky situations and witty banter. It is a really fun book to read . I was hooked on the very first page and couldn’t put it down until I finished. Jason Friday and Hannah Robinson’s families have been in a feud for over twenty year. But these two must band together to beat the big box wedding store that moved into town and put pressure on each of their wedding stores. This is a great series and I would highly recommend all of the books in this series.
Stage Mom: A Single Mom Romantic Comedy is the sixth book in Romance in Rehoboth series and the third book in this boxed set by K.L. Montgomery. This is my new favorite of this series. I just couldn’t put this book down once I started reading. Larissa Emerson is a strong female character who is always fighting for her special needs daughter. Mateo Flores is trying to not screw up his first year running the Little Miss Rehoboth pageant. The clash between these two is really spectacular. I love all of the books in this series and highly recommend it to everyone who loves romance.

Richardson is a new author to me but the synopsis of the book grabbed me immediately (the beautiful cover definitely didn’t hurt either!). I found the story and characters to be beautifully developed. This was a book I truly enjoyed beginning to end and found myself not wanting it to end. Just extremely well written. I cannot say this enough but this author has one heck of a gift with her writing. No matter the storyline, you are living in each and every story. Nothing is sugar coated, you get the real, the raw and the sweet that is life. Each book in this set, even the whole series, is a must have to own.
Set in Rehoboth, these stories all follow different characters from all walks of life who all eventually find their happily ever after in their own way. You’ll laugh, cry, scream, and cheer them all on. There’s a little of all of us in each of these characters, and that’s what makes this author amazing.

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Romance in Rehoboth #4-6) by K.L. Montgomery was a great 5 star read. This is a great opportunity to have books 4-6 of this great series all at one time. Once you start you will be pulled right in.
Badge Bunny Brynne is an ER doc who has sworn off men in uniform. Chris is a state patrol officer whose job brings him into the ER quite often. The first time that Brynne meets Chris, let’s just say that Chris didn’t make a very good impression and pretty much insulted Brynne without realizing it. When Chris asks Brynne out he gets quite an earful on why she doesn’t date cops anymore. I had a lol moment with his response to her. Brynne is very annoyed by Chris but yet she notices very much how hot he is. She can’t stop thinking about him and when they both end up at the same wedding things take an interesting twist.This was a great read, I had several LOL moments. All of the characters are so lovable and sassy.
Wedding War This was a fun read. Jason and Hannah’s families were in the wedding business for years until a fight happened and they ended up being enemies. We jump ahead to Hannah who is worried when she finds out competition is coming to town. She realizes that she may need to ask Jason for help, even though he’s considered the enemy. I think my favorite was Stage Mom, Larissa was a strong woman with so much love for her daughter. If you’re looking for a great read I highly suggest this great series and set. Thank you K.L. Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6): A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K.L. Montgomery was a fun romantic read. I enjoyed getting multiple stories from K.L Montgomery. I loved Badge Bunny, the enemies to lovers is my favorite story plot. Brynne, like all of Montgomery’s leading ladies, is strong and sassy and a fun read. I loved her attitude and humor. The plot of Wedding Wars was fun and reminded me of a Juliet and Romeo story with its own humor and slow burn. I could not wait to get to the end and see how Jason and Hannah manage to work their way out of this mutual problem. Stage Mom had me super emotional. Larissa is a wonderful mom and I appreciate the depth of her character. I always know I am getting a wonderfully developed story when I pick up a K.L Montgomery book.

This series has become one of my favorites this year. I absolutely love small town romance but this author always keeps me on my toes. This set has books four through six. The first one is Badge Bunny, then Wedding War, and the last one is Stage Mom. They can be read as stand alones but they are better in order. These books don’t have cliffhangers so you will get the whole story in each book. I really enjoyed every story and I can’t wait to read the next book from this amazing author.
Badge Bunny
Brynne Miller loves being an emergency doctor. She loves helping people. Brynne always sees cops come and go at all hours of the night that is why she is attracted to them. She has dated quite a few cops and her friends call her the badge bunny. Brynne now has sworn off cops due to her last relationship. One night a new cop comes in and she immediately hates him. He is the typical cop that she knows but does she really? Brynne is loving her life but all of her friends are getting married. She wants the happy ending too but who is going to want a woman doctor as a wife. Brynne is told she is going to be in the wedding for her friend and she is paired up with none other than the hot cop ,Chris Everson. She has swore off cops but will this cop change her mind especially when she finds out his secret he has been hiding?
Wedding War
Jason and Hannah’s family has been in the wedding business ever since they were babies. Hannah and her family took care of the brides. Jason and his family made the grooms have great style. One day their families get into a huge fight and now they can’t stand one another. Years later they still hate one another. Hannah loves what she does. She is shocked when she finds out that a chain bridle store is coming into town. Hannah hates the idea but she has to look to her enemy for help which is Jason. She has to put their differences aside and work together. Will Hannah and Jason keep their jobs or will they both be failures?
Stage Mom
Larissa Emerson is a very strong woman. She is a single mom to a beautiful daughter that has special needs. Larissa wants the best for her daughter. She has a hard time with men in her life until she meets Mateo. Larissa feels a connection like no other. She doesn’t want to get hurt again so she puts up some walls. Will Larissa find what she has been looking for or will she be hurt yet again?

Romance in Rehoboth Boxed Set (Books 4-6) is A Small Town Romantic Comedy Series by K. L. Montgomery. The three books in this series are Badge Bunny, Wedding War, and Stage Mom, with Stage Mom being my favorite of the three. I absolutely loved this romantic comedy about a single mom and a nice guy. Larissa Emerson is a single mother to a special needs daughter. Larissa is such a strong woman who fights for her daughter to be part of a beauty pageant, this is where she meets Mateo. It is the first year that Mateo is head of the beauty pageant, but he was not prepared for Larissa. How can he say no to such a strong willed, beautiful woman. Each of the three stories in this boxed set are wonderfully written. The story lines are well thought out and heartwarming. I found myself reading a book a day because I loved reading about the characters in each story and needed to know what happened to them.

Read Between The Lines is the opening act of a new series called Freshwater by an Aussie writer Belinda Williams. I am actually surprised that I haven’t discovered Belinda earlier as I absolutely love Aussie writers and I am always on a look for new ones! Read Between The Lines is a great opening and it gives us Kat Chalmers, the high achiever and the co-host of a leading current affairs program, and Matt Goodridge, a hard working obstetrician and her next door neighbour. They are just two of the group of high achieving women and men in beachside Sydney so I can see many more great stories coming our way. We all have our secrets and it seems that Kat and Matt need to find out how to share theirs while the chemistry between them ignites and burns out of control! Come along on the ride and you will not stay cold!

This was a super fun read. Jane seems like a spoiled little rich girl until she meets a drop sexy vampire while in New Orleans. Being the adventurous woman that she is, her NOLA adventure goes a little awry and she finds herself in deep water. Waking up dead has its advantages, like the hot vampire who sired her but when you have an aversion to blood, it can become downright tedious. If you want a good, easy, fun read, then I recommend you read this book. It sweet and sexy all rolled into one. Go ahead, read it, it does bring about smiles and some giggles from time to time.

Midnight in the House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski was a refreshing dystopia read! I loved it from the moment I read the description. War, forbidden romance, history, and steampunk. This story was unlike anything I had picked up recently and I just loved it. I already want to pick it up for a reread!

This is the first books in the series that actually read as standalones but I loved them just as much as the first books in the series. They are connected to the characters in the previous books. You don’t need to read the prior books in the series to dive into these but they are amazing just the same!
K.L. Montgomery has a way with dealing with real world issues but spins a unique twist in these stories that keep you wanting more. She is one that will always keep you on the edge of your seat with emotions, drama, and humor.

Midnight In The House of Lang by Bree M. Lewandowski was a great novel! The start of it was a little confusing at first but the confusion quickly cleared up. This book was difficult to put down! I highly enjoyed this novel very much. It’s a great story of love, fear, war, and fighting for want you want. I highly recommend this novel, and can’t wait to read more from this author!
