TWO HEARTS UNLIKELY HEROES (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance Book 9) by Tamara Ferguson. These books just keep getting better and this author definitely knows how to pull me in each and every time. I alway know going in I’m in for quite the ride and I’m never disappointed. From the emotions, action and edge of my seat moments I loved every minute of it. The characters are complex and relatable and so well detailed you can picture them immediately. In fact the entire story comes to life right before your eyes, and I tend to forget I’m reading a book. I love characters that have a background that gives me all the feelings and this author gives me just that and so much more. As always this story was well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. I simply couldn’t put it down and was definitely up way past my bedtime. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If you are craving a good romantic novel to escape from the real world, pick up this book now!

2AM Secrets is a book that grabbed my attention from the first page or two, the main characters Archer and Sadie are complex and have a depth to them that I feel characters can lack in romance books so I loved following their steamy relationship full of desire and forbidden passion. M. Piper has a way of setting the scene quite intensely so its easy to get lost in her words. The background plot was a great way of helping to make the story very believable and relatable. I think a good way of knowing if a book is great is asking yourself if you would read it again and I will read this again.

I have been really looking forward to reading the next book in this series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly – I absolutely love her books and as expected this one was another hit with me! In all honesty who doesn’t love to read about an arrogant rocker! I know I do – it usually makes me love them all the more when they do something surprising! Benjamin was always going to work for me from the moment I read the blurb for the story I knew I would love him and I did! I didn’t want to but I couldn’t help it! I loved the slow burn feel to the story and in my opinion was perfect for the characters and everything they had going on in their lives!
As always this was a wonderfully written story that captured my attention from the very beginning and held it all the way through! I look forward to more from this author in the future!

This is my first read by this author and I loved it!!! I adore the off limits kind of stories, and the brothers best friend is one of my favorites.

This was an awesome book, it pulled at every emotion I had and these characters..every one of them, I fell head over heels for them. This was a unique story with a perfect story flow and the ending.. ** sigh ** Now I’m hoping Sam gets to tell his story in his own book..

I will absolutely be looking up more of this authors books, not sure why I haven’t already read them but that will be remedied soon.

Awesome Loved it!!

OMG what an emotional read this was! My final words were, in order, “omg yay!” and “is there going to be a second book about Sam?”
This is one.of if not the top favorite trope of mine in romance books. The brothers best friend and while there are many, this one was on a whole other level. We aren’t teased with the build up it was hot from beginning to end, but real life is also woven into this story and done so well. You could feel the emotions and intensity of everything pouring off the pages.
I love Sadie and her strength. And while she doesn’t ask for it she takes the strength Archer gives to her well and they were perfect. I cried, I laughed and i wanted to beat a character a time or two but its all needed for this story to be the amazing work it is.

2am Secrets2am Secrets by M. Piper
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

2am Secrets by M. Piper is the first book that I have read by this author and judging by how much I enjoyed this one, it won’t be the last. I’m always pensive about trying a new author but I needn’t have worried as I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Sadie Richards and her twin brother Sam lost their parents at a young age and have been brought up by their grandmother, who is now in ill health. Sam’s best friend Archer Crowe was also instrumental in getting Sam through his parent’s death.
For years there has been a fire simmering between Sadie and Archer, who finally decides one New Year that he’s had enough of waiting and makes a move on Sadie. Sadie would like nothing better than having a relationship with archer but knows that her brother would be livid and they don’t want to upset him as he’s struggling to cope with their grandmother’s ill health. I must add that their grandmother Mimi is the most amazing character. Nothing gets past this woman and she’s just wonderful.
This is a fantastic story filled with love romance and a good deal of angst. Both Sadie and Archer are desperate to be together but don’t want to rock the boat. Can they be together and have a HEA? Will Sam freak out when he finds out about their relationship? I really suggest that you read this book and find out?

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved this forbidden romance story, Sadie and Archer have sizzling chemistry but Sadie’s overprotective twin brother Sam is also Archers best friend and the two have kept their attraction to each other to themselves for years. Having stopped fighting their attraction and chemistry during a New Years Eve party and spending the night together the two then can’t deny that they have something special and that it was more than a one night stand. However keeping it a secret from everyone so as not to hurt Sam, who seems to be on self destruct, puts a strain on their new relationship and once their secret is out, can any of them survive the fall out.
This was a forbidden romance but with enough twists in the storyline to keep it unpredictable and it also touched on sensitive issues such as bereavement, ill health and addiction. The characters which I fell in love with are likeable and realistic and I was fully immersed in their world whilst reading the book. This book was full of drama, romance, steamy sex scenes and took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it. I was cheering Sadie and Archer on, wanting them to have their HEA. I could not put this book down and I’m looking forward to reading more books by M.Piper.

M. Piper is a new author to me and I jumped into the book without blinders on. There comes a point in people’s lives that no one wants to admit. There is an attraction to your sibling’s best friend. You try to ignore it because you do not want to hurt their relationship, but on the inside you want that person. That is the kind of love 2AM Secrets is about. Sadie and Sam are twins and they promised each other no relationships with the other’s friends. They were off limits. That was until Sadie started to have feelings for Archer (who happens to be Sam’s best friend). Both tried to stay away from each other, but the attraction was strong. Will Sadie and Archer give in to the attraction? Will they be able to keep the secret from Sam? You will have to read this story to find out this information and more.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes is the ninth book in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Series by Tamara Ferguson. I absolutely love this series and this is my favorite book so far in this series. I live in Northern Wisconsin and I feel like the area around my home could be Crystal Rock, so I feel A kinship to this series. I also find that Ms. Ferguson does a wonderful job showing all side of Wounded Warriors dealing with issues. The characters are so true to life and the feels this book brought out are amazing. Sam and Ben have crazy chemistry and I love how they work through their issues. I highly recommend this book, series and author.

Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes (Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance #9)Two Hearts Unlikely Heroes by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read from Tamara Ferguson’s Two hearts series, I can’t wait to go back and read the rest.
The story starts with Samantha, who is on a mission that soon goes wrong. After her captain is killed Sam was now in charge, after her and her team fight back Sam is badly injured. Ben Nash witnesses an explosion and when they come to help he finds and rescues Sam, but he is also injured in the process.
Two years later they are reunited in unlikely circumstances, and the story follows the pair as they become closer and look to be finding their happy ever after ending. But the past catches up to them and they find themselves in danger once again.
A must read, I loved it. The characters are so easy to like and I love how Ben breaks through Sam’s initially frost persona. Despite being part of a well established series, this can definitely be read as a stand-alone book. Once I got started reading I found this book hard to put down.

Black Cat Security is a short yet titillating story. Dragomir is a magician that’s been cursed. Suffering from PTSD, he handles it by battling in illegal fights. Upon meeting Ida, the passion ignites. She claims that she can help him. What can she do that the high mages of Scholomance can’t? Unsure, he takes a chance with her. Her remedy turns out to be quite surprising. This is an erotically intense story geared towards a more mature audience. I loved it!

Rockin’ It Home by Tracey Cramer-Kelly is book three of the Lawson Family series. This book similar to the other books in the series, grabbed my attention from the beginning and didn’t let go. The book is so well written you feel like you really know the characters. Their struggles become your struggles and you can’t help but want them to work through their issues.

Ben knows Danielle might be his only chance to get his act together as much as he doesn’t want a babysitter. Danielle needs this job if she has any hope of paying her family’s debt. Can Ben and Danielle help each other?

2AM Secrets by M. Piper. How is this the first I’ve read by this author?? This book was incredible and I can’t wait to see what else this amazing author has to offer now that I’ve found her. From the description I knew I’d like this story but “like” doesn’t even come close to how I ended up feeling about this story. Try Loved!! The characters had me completely hooked from start to finish. I’m a sucker for a a forbidden type story it’s just right in my eyes. And this author writes forbidden so very well. I simply couldn’t put this book down no matter how much little sleep I got. The connection between the characters jumps off the pages and at times I forgot I was reading. My emotions were definitely all over but I loved every minute of it. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five huge stars and highly recommended!!

Devil’s Spawn (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6) by Manda Mellett – Review by Angela Hayes

Devil's Spawn (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6)Devil’s Spawn by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Devil’s Spawn is the sixth book in the Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett. I love all the books in the Satan’s Devils series, including this ‘spin-off’ series- the ‘Colorado Chapter’. Ms. Mellett knows how to weave an engrossing tale- and this story certainly doesn’t disappoint. This book is the perfect example of everything I love about this series and Ms. Mellett’s writing- emotive, heartbreaking, dramatic, heartfelt, and so sexy. Then add Ms. Mellett’s wonderful characters, and her stories really take flight.
She has given us so many great MC stories lately- one would think that she might lose momentum, or things would start to stale or stall within the series, but that’s definitely not the case here as she’s definitely got her recipe right- bringing us one fantastic story then topping it with another even better one. Each new edition holds the promise of a heartfelt and original read- one I am only too happy to explore.
I really don’t want to spoil it for you, and the blurb does a great job of letting you know what to expect without giving anything away. There are some sensitive issues portrayed in the story, but Ms. Mellett handles them thoughtfully and honestly- giving her story much realism and believability!
Emotional and Brilliant!

Thank you, Ms. Mellett!

A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock 'N Sweet Romance 3)A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is a beautiful story about a singer Drew Kendall and a violinist star Marrielle McKinnon whose stories come together as one after sharing a kiss under the strawberry moon. Their future seems perfect but they’re headed in two different directions as she’s headed for the moon in Hollywood as he’s finishing his education but going into teaching.
After getting into it with his family, Drew’s plans change drastically as he has to drop out of college and heads to the army instead. After being injured, he doesn’t want to turn to Marrielle, afraid he’d burden her but can their love survive?
What I love about this story is it gives you hope for what love can be despite difficult terrains, twists and turns. I love how the characters find their way back to one another and find love in the darkest of times. It makes you believe if you’re not already personally attached in real life in love again and it’s worth it. This book shows the innocence of what love can be. Great read!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Kiss Beneath a Strawberry Moon is the 3rd book in the Daydreams & Dragonflies series by Tamara Ferguson. It is a sweet romance, like most of her novels. I love reading them because they are quick and provide the warm fuzzies, but I felt this one ended too abruptly. This book follows the story of Marielle and Drew, and their love at first sight. Marielle is a singer, and Drew is a composer, both attending a musical summer camp. It would seem things would work out perfectly, but they came from different worlds. Marielle is a rising star, about to embark on a wonderful adventure. Drew is torn between going to college like his father wants, and chasing his dream of composing. After a falling out with his dad, Drew enlists in the military and is gone for years, while Marielle goes on tour. They are torn apart by the circumstances, and while I was happy with the ending, it was too soon. I wanted more details and for the story to continue.

This was a sweet, quick read. I really liked Marielle and Drew. This is 3rd in the series and i didn’t feel lost but i will go back and read the first two as this was a great story.
They’re both attending music camp in one capacity or another, and they didn’t hit it off right away and later learn it was due to nerves of attraction.
As we move along in their lives, Drew goes to war and is injured and drops contact. But Marielle isn’t taking silence as an answer.
These two were great and I felt i could be friends with everyone in this story.

Sadie grew up alongside her brother’s best friend, Archer. Archer should’ve been like a big brother to her but she never saw him like that. She saw the good in him through everything bad that was happening in her life and he saw her through all the storms she’d been through.
One New Year’s changed everything in their relationship as they knew it. Sadie has been wanting Archer ever since she could remember. She’d been craving for him to notice and want him just as bad as she wanted him. She’d experienced hell in not knowing how to make her dreams a reality as far as he was concerned. As soon as those dreams do become reality, someone was doomed to get hurt and expose their 2AM secrets into the dawn of day.
This story is full of steamy scenes where you’re vying for the characters to get together and you’re rooting for their best interest. This is a great book to read and get into. I couldn’t put this one down. Chapter after chapter, I was glued to the page!

I was sucked into this book from the first page, the humour was refreshing and a bit of seduction to keep us following. Fantastic take on a old classic. I wouldn’t usually go for a retelling as I don’t like to know what’s going to happen, but this didn’t feel like the same story at all completely unique. Thanks for a great read.

This twist on the Wizard of Oz was so much fun to read! It was funny…it was sexy…and I enjoyed it. What if the Wicked witch of the East wasn’t the bad guy and Dorothy wasn’t as innocent as she comes off to be?!? That’s the premise of this story. Add in three hunky guys and you have a story that is full of laughs and hotness!!
I found myself rooting for East in this story and wanting her to see the beauty in herself and not let the opinion of others drag her down. The twist of the Dorothy’s deceit was one that brought a whole new twist to the well-known story. It was a fun read that I found myself chuckling out loud at times.

This was an amazing addition to this series. I absolutely love this author’s writing style and was sad when this story ended.

I was so excited to get a hold of this book. I loved Ben, although I don’t normally like any kind of rockstar stories this one was jam packed full of everything I love to read. The storyline was unique and touched on real issues that were handled perfectly.

One thing I love when reading series is being able to still get glimpses into the lives of our previous couples and that happened in this story, also the family aspect, which this one had in spades.

I can not wait to read more from this author, she has quickly risen up to my favorites list

Loved it and although a series this could be read as a stand alone although I would not recommend that because of how great the first 2 were.

Devil’s Spawn (Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6) by Manda Mellett – Review by Jennifer Gordon

Devil's Spawn (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6)Devil’s Spawn by Manda Mellett
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Having already read books in the Satan’s Devils MC series I was looking forward to this latest one and was not disappointed. Although it’s part of a series and does mention characters from previous books it also works as a standalone read, for me though I like how Mellett continues the stories of previous characters and gives us an update on them through out her MC series.
Devil’s Spawn, focuses on patched in member Lizard ‘Liz’ and his wife and ‘old lady’ Vanna. Sadly Lizard was injured whilst serving as a marine and suffered a brain injury which left him unable to remember Vanna or his son Cal. Now fourteen Cal is playing up and has nightmares remembering when his dad shouted at him that “he’s not my kid”, at her wits end Vanna searches for her husband and finds him as a member of Satan’s Devils. As she has his name tattooed on her back, a sign of her belonging to Liz in the MC world, the rest of the MC step in to help especially as even after ten years Liz has no memory of his family.
Another MC member Mace becomes involved with Shayla when she walks into the tattoo shop the Satan’s Devils run wanting a ‘property patch’ removed from her back but in the MC world having a property patch means something, so removing one is unheard off. When the MC look into it and find that she may not have been tattooed willingly and that Major is a danger to Shayla and her child they step into help her. Even though she is scared of MC members Shayla can’t help but feel the chemistry between herself and Mace.
This is a fast paced action packed read full of great characters and steamy sex scenes. I was hooked from page one and was instantly immersed in the world of the Satan’s Devils by Mellett’s descriptive writing. I’m now impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

Devil's Spawn (Satan's Devils MC Colorado Chapter #6)Devil’s Spawn by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Devil’s Spawn is the 6th book in the amazing Satan’s Devils MC: Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellett. The more I read of the Satan’s Devils books, the more I fall in love with Manda Mellett’s writing. I have absolutely adored everyone that I’ve read so far and this time was no different. This book was amazing. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could.
In Devil’s Spawn you even get 2 for the price of 1. You not only get Lizard’s story, you also get Mace’s. Both of these stories will totally grab your heart and not let go of it. Lizard’s is a second chance romance with a difference. I’m not giving any spoilers but you will love it. Mace is a different character altogether. At the start of the previous book Ink’s Devil I really did not like Mace but he redeemed himself later in the book. In this book we see a totally different side to Mace and I just loved him.
As always with the Satan’s Devils book you get a great romance story and hot and steamy sex. But added to this there is always a powerful storyline running through the book filled with danger, despair, heartbreak and every other emotion you can think of.
I really cannot get across in words just how much I loved this book. Yet again Manda Mellett has given us another cracker that I’ll enjoy reading again. 100% recommend!

Lisa: Coming Of Age (Book 1 of The Guardian Shifters) by KM Lowe – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Lisa: Coming Of Age (The Guardian Shifters, #1)Lisa: Coming Of Age by K.M. Lowe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lisa’s life begins tragically when her father takes her from her mother simply because she was a girl. Surrounded by her adoptive parents and siblings, uncle Jasper, and best friend Markus, Lisa has been supported and loved by those that her around her. However, lately she has been having wild dreams that come every night. Telling Markus about these dreams sets into motion the revealing of her true family lineage which will change her world as she knows it. Lisa finds herself questioning everything she has known and wondering if the future is something she can handle. The story that KM Lowe has written puts the reader in a world filled with magic and things that Lisa believed only existed in the books she read.

I stayed up way past my bedtime to read this book because I did not want to put it down. I wanted to know what happened and how things were going to play out. Not only was Lisa and Markus’ story entertaining to read, it was also filled with real emotion and struggle that you can feel pouring off the pages. Lisa is a strong and resilient teenager that shows just how sassy and tough she can be when facing her new truths head on. Markus is a supportive best friend and soul mate that helps guide her through a world she knew nothing about only a couple of months prior. The supporting characters were also wonderful, and I am excited to read their books in the future. This is the first book that I have read by this author…but it won’t be the last.
