This book was an unexpected twist on the Santa Clause story, mixed with a happily-ever-after story. Holly Clause spends most of every year gathering cheer from the human world to power the North Pole. Everything Holly thinks she knows about the cheer and how it works changes when she finds a flyer for a festival in a small Oregon town, and decides to check it out, figuring that a festival is probably a good source of cheer. When Holly arrives, she quickly realizes that the town and the people in it are different, and the cheer works differently for some reason. Holly spends a little bit of time there, then has to go home, but decides to go back for their Christmas Faire to help the town and the friends that she’s made. What she doesn’t expect, is to fall in love with a human, a man named Ashe, and the effects it will have on her magic. There is a good bit of world building in this book, and the cliff hanger definitely leaves me curious what the future will bring for Holly, Ash, and the rest of the characters we’ve come to care about.

This story hit the spot with the cooler weather coming in! I am all about Hallmark Christmas movies and this book gives all the holiday vibes. I love the wholesome romances and then throwing in the holiday just makes that much better. Holly has taken over collecting Christmas Cheer for the North Pole. It is an important job that her dad made look effortless. She finds more than she expected in Emerald Hollow. When Ash comes into the picture everything changes. I loved how reading this book was like watching a movie. You will want to curl up with a fuzzy blanket and some hot cocoa to read Holly’s story! Looking forward to book 2!
Chasing Cheer is Book One in the Magical Emerald Hollow Series. It is a fun, whimsical, contemporary romance with a Christmas vibe. The story centers around the characters of Holly Claus and Ash Hayes. Holly is traveling the world to collect cheer to power the North Pole when she meets Ash in a small town in Oregon. The two have instant chemistry but she is not looking for love and he is not looking to have a relationship with someone who will not be sticking around. Holly and Ash are lovable characters that you know instantly are clearly meant to be together. The chemistry is instant and magical which kept me reading to see what would become of them and if they could make a relationship work. I loved the magical picture the author painted which really drew me into the story. The book was well written, and the scenes were so vividly described it was as though I was fully immersed in the scenes with the characters. It felt like I was watching a movie play out in front of me and I could visualize myself surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of the Christmas season. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

D.M. Earl writes the best MC club books and Fractured Hearts is no exception. I loved reading Dingo and Celestina’s story. I really like how we get to see all the other guys from the club books with their families/kids and how the author ties all her MC club books together by including the other clubs like the Devils Handmaidens. Celestina is actually Shadow’s cousin and they are trying to escape from the same mob family, The De’Luca’s, and trouble has come to call after Celestina’s brother survives an attack from Shadow. Dingo and the rest of the Grimm Wolves come to the rescue. I’m always so nervous with books like this when they introduce animals but I have always been able to count on this author to not let anything horrible happen to them, thank goodness, and they always play such an important part in the story, can’t say the same for the enemies of the Grimm Wolves and people who threaten their families though. It’s so wonderful to see a group of people who have adopted each other treat each other with such loyalty, commitment, respect, and protection. They always come out on top.

The perfect weekend holiday read! I’m a huge fan of the Hallmark Christmas movies and this book could absolutely be made into a movie! It was a quick read that kept me interested the entire time. Holly’s character is so sweet. I felt bad for her not really understanding why she struggled more than her father. I was a bit surprised they didn’t teach her growing up. But if you want to be put in the Christmas spirit, grab this book and a cup of hot cocoa!

As the new(er) head of the Claus business, Holly has to work hard for the cheer to power the North Pole. It doesn’t help that she has to work harder than her father to gather cheer leading her to being out of range for most if the year.
When Holly visits a small Oregon town on a Cheer hunting whim, all she thought she knew about collecting Cheer goes out the window. Emerald Hollow is full of it. Cheer that is. So now she’s determined to figure out why and how she can use the small towns abundance of Cheer to help the North Pole.
Emerald House is more than just a business to Ash Hayes. It’s his world, and everything he’s ever known. After taking over the family business, Ash is determined to bring tourism up in Emerald Hollow, even if it means entering their tiny town into a Hallmark contest.
Holly’s not planning on staying but the amount of Cheer in Emerald Hollow could put Christmas at stake and leave her wanting more at the same time. Ash doesn’t want to love someone who leaves. Neither of them have a choice anymore.
I really struggled at the beginning, I felt that it was written in a very roundabout, odd manner for the first few pages, but it really cleaned up after the first chapter.
It turned out to be a super sweet and adorable holiday read that I’m really glad I stuck around for. A fast-paced storyline once it was in motion and plot that reads like a Hallmark movie and this girl is sold.
I loved the characters and I can’t wait to see what lore we can get from Emerald Hollow and I can only hope it’ll be a bit more holiday fun!

This was a great 5 star read. This author continues to pull me into her dark MC stories and I don’t want to put them down. The characters were great, their story had me all over the place. And the chemistry was intense to say the least. I also enjoyed seeing characters from past books as well. I was on the edge of my seat most of the time waiting to see what was coming next. Would Dingo be able to help Celee and keep her safe? The intensity and fierceness these men have when it comes to protecting people, especially their loved ones, really makes you want one for yourself. Another gripping read in this series about the Grimm Wolves MC, and once again I loved being back in their world. For Dingo laughter is the best medicine, and he’s very good at hiding his pain behind his fun and crazy personality. As a prospect for the Grimm Wolves MC he works hard to prove himself to his MC brothers. Celee needs help and somewhere safe to go when her father’s enemies go after her, and a chance encounter in a chat room might be the answer she needed. Dingo along with his brothers are determined to keep Celee safe once she’s under their protection, even if it means going up against some really dangerous criminals. The more Dingo tries to protect Celee and the closer they become, she realises that she’s not the only one with a difficult past and that he’s hurting too. As usual the descriptive narrative brings the characters and the setting vividly to life, making me feel immersed in the storyline and engaged with the characters. The chemistry between Dingo and Celee sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. I loved how their relationship developed throughout the story, and I found this to be an enjoyable and engaging read.

Watching two people come together in romance is fun. However, watching Laramie and Trigger grow together. Is a whole other story. Wait, this is that story! Trigger lives amongst the humans, but he helps those in Long Claw. He being a lion shifter has many obstacles to overcome and work through.. One of which is his mate claiming. Laramie has put her life on hold as she helps her family out. So when her call comes, she is ready to start her new journey. Or is she? Will Trigger and Laramie listen to the call before the haze moves in? This was such a fast paced emotional story for me. I Loved It! The romance between these two characters is so on point, I could see the story in my mind. The author really put her imagination into this story. I am looking forward to reading more paranormal stories from this author.
This is the first book in the Wolfbane Series. I could not put this book down. Jasmine has always followed the rules. When she finds her mate her whole world implodes. This book ran me through my emotions for sure. I will be running to get the next book in the series.

Dingo and Celee’s story is quite the page-turner. She’s on the run from her mob-related family. He and the Grimm wolves are trying to protect her. This adventure started in Texas and the “fun” just kept rolling in. Shootings, bombs, “gifts” left at Fury’s fence and other items made for quite the unpredictable story. Let’s say that Karma, the tech guy, earned his keep in this story. Watching Dingo and Celee try to work through the baggage they brought to the relationship in order to make their relationship work really had you rooting for them. They both have good hearts. It was great to see how that developed. I love watching the Grimm Wolves kick butt. Familiar faces chimed in. Fury placed a large role taking over while Brick and Emmie had the triplets. Shadow and her men come down to help. Many other wonderful items show up. Chains and his family show up. I enjoyed seeing the snippets of the whole gang. This is a book you really should read. The whole series is wonderfully good and well worth reading. It’ sone of my favorites. This author writes in a way that will have you diving in and not coming up for air until the story is over. I only came up to write the review because the story is over and I’ll be here eagerly awaiting the next one…..

Truck Stopped is the eleventh book in the Satan’s Devils MC Series by Manda Mellett. This is my new favorite book in this series. It was gut wrenching and heartwarming with my emotions flying between laughing and crying throughout. This is Truck and Allie’s story and I love the way it was presented. I especially love the flash forwards into the future as Drummer relates the story and fills in information on other members of the MC. I highly recommend this book, series and author.
This story is narrated by Sierra and Logan as all the books in this series so far. They do an awesome job bringing the characters to life. Their voices complement each other for an all around great listening experience.
No Amends is a Psychological Suspense/ Romance Suspense that had me turning the pages till the end. Its packed with drama, secrets, suspense, lies and so much more. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next. The characters are relatable, fully developed and made the story come to life. This is a fast paced story about an accident and a stranger, but are they really a stranger? This is my first book by this author , but it’s definitely not my last. I highly recommend this reading this suspenseful story to find out what happens next. Looking forward to reading more from this Author soon.

The Mating Haze by Brooke May is the fantastic second book in the Long Claw Pride paranormal series. I loved the first book and this one is just as good, and I never pass up a chance to dig into anything Brooke has written. This paranormal romance story is set in a small town where there are shifters and fated soul mates. Brooke’s narrative makes it so easy to imagine and get lost in. There is action, drama, secrets, hopes, needs, wants, longing, laughter and love and you have yourself an enticing great read. The characters of Long Claw pride are positively crazy, most definitely fun and a lot wild, but you can’t help but fall in love with them good or bad. I love the unpredictability of what these wonderful and colourful shifters get up to. It is often mayhem and madness. Laramie never wanted anything more than her mate. She swore that she did not want to end up like her mother. But when a stranger comes to town and the Haze kicks in everything goes out the window. Trigger is a shifter but raised among humans. His life is helping communities of shifters. So, when he turns up in Long Claw things may not be as they seem. Make sure you grab it and settle in for the journey. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait for more.
Laramie Mackenzie is member of the pride of mountain lion shifters who call Long Claw their home, she is the second of a large family of five and is loved by everyone, she helps out in the local businesses her family runs, but it means that she doesn’t have time for her own dreams and this is exhausting her. Trigger Bain is a shifter without a pack, he has spent more time with humans than with his own kind, but that isn’t his fault, he is now being roped into helping with the family business of helping pride’s of mountain lion’s to improve their communities and bring investment to them.
When Trigger starts his journey to Long Claw, he is doing his usual research on the flight about the place and what is already there, but while he is driving in his rental car towards the mountains, a unfamiliar feeling begins and takes his breath away, he knows that it is the mating call, but he has no idea what it means, all he knows is that it feels right but he also knows that he can’t let it distract him from driving safely in the wintry conditions. Meanwhile Laramie is suddenly hit by the same feeling, but she knows what it means and she is more than excited, much to the surprise of her family, but she still goes on with her life until she can meet the mate she has longed for since she was a child and more than that, she is hoping that it means she might be able to finally take her dreams off of the back burner.
When the two finally meet, their connection is instant, but Trigger has a job to do and he is trying his best to keep doing this despite only wanting to spend time with his mate and this is where things start to get complicated for the duo because doing this means that they are going into the mating haze and albeit passionate, it can also be dangerous. As the two lions bond, it quickly becomes apparent to Trigger that something about his job feels off and it rubs him the wrong way and it causes tension between him and the community instead of the acceptance he desperately wants, so when he starts to look into his fears and worries and the mating haze clears he discovers something he wished he hadn’t. This is a steamy fantasy romance where truths, lies, secrets and revelations abound and tensions rise as clarity is found all while romance is kindled and the flames of passion ignite.

The is another book in the Long Claw Pride series, this time following Laramie and Trigger’s story. Once again, another unique element is added to the series in the form of the mating haze. It put blinders on making Laramie act out of character. Laramie is usually sensible but currently isn’t and Trigger has blind faith in his family, both of which could lead to disaster. I enjoyed how it was Trigger who was the one who had mainly grown up in the human world, this was a different take as many of the books I have read, it is the female character which takes this role. The characters are likeable and you can’t help but root for them, wanting a happily ever after. Once again, the author’s writing flows well and the descriptive narrative paints vivid imagery of both characters and scenery. I felt like I could step into the story following the twists alongside the characters. Another enjoyable book in the series, I can’t wait for more!
This is book 1 in the Long Claw Pride series following mountain lion shifters. I enjoyed the difference to the usual wolf shifters, it was refreshing and written well. Another unique element was the way that finding your mates works. I thought this was unique and a lovely way of doing it. The author’s writing flowed well, and the descriptions created vivid imagery of both scenery and characters. The characters are likeable, both with a past which affects their outlook on their mating situation and the character development as the book progresses (and the romance) was great to see. You can’t help but root for the couple every step of the way. This was an enjoyable book with many unique elements and written well. I look forward to the reading the rest of the series!

What a story. I don’t want to give anything away but you absolutely should read this story. It’s everything I didn’t know I needed to read… Hope and Adam seem like they’re drawn to each other. I love shifter stories, throw in some romance, strong characters and a series that just gets better and better and I’m hooked. As with the first book, the author focuses on another member of the pride, Laramie and her mating call is not all that it should be. There are road blocks to overcome to get to her HEA with Trigger. A fantastic read that has me eagerly awaiting book 3. Recommend.

Whodunnit romance This is an intriguing story is book 4 of the Philly Heat series. It is a mystery romance that slowly builds throughout the story. As Doyle and Hannah’s romance grows throughout the book, the challenges they face are not easy to foresee which creates a tension that the author cleverly conveys. I enjoyed reading from both their POV as this created a deeper connection to the overall story. Recommend.

The Mating Haze is the second captivating book in the Long Claw Pride series by Brooke May. As with the first book, this follows members of the Long Claw Clan, a mountain lion shifter community- and makes for fantastic reading. Let’s face it, Ms. May had me at shifters – but making them mountain lions certainly added an extra element of interest for me. Especially after reading the first book. I love the way that each book builds on what we learned in the previous one/s- even though the main focus is on different main characters- there is a bigger picture being built in the background, that bridges the series. For this reason, I highly recommend reading the first book before starting on this one. Trust me, you won’t regret it. Laramie and Trigger give us a front row seat to a superb paranormal romance, with fated mates, drama, emotion, angst, family, community, destiny, secrets, discovery, challenges, responsibility, banter, humour, antics, and more. It was so easy invest in them and the outcome of their story. But as expected, Ms. May threw in a few challenges and dramatic developments along the way to keep things interesting. Bring on Book #3! At first the story was a a tad slow for me to get into. But the more I read about Simon “Fennimore” Shaw, the more I needed to read. When he started his trip there was such an innocence about him. He learned so much about himself. He loved and lost. Although his quest only lasted a year. He became a man. I’m so glad I got a chance to read this story. I loved that it was written with the feel of a diary. It felt honest and sincere.

The world once again entrances the reader, teleporting them into the world of Celtic lore. I couldn’t help but look for more information on the dobhar-chu after completing the book. I look forward to going back and reading more of this series and can’t wait to see whose story will come next.

I Picked up this book by Natalina Reis for the first time and I was not disappointed at all. It’s not my usual cup of tea, but this book was incredibly intriguing that kept me engrossed the whole time I was reading it! What was also brilliant and I loved was that the author included a map just in case you need a reference.The author has such an amazing way of building a world that pulls you in and keeps you there til the end. With fantastic characters, actions, danger, secrets, and a range of emotions that jumps off the pages I can’t wait to read House of Blood and Pirates and all the other books by this author Natalina Reis. PS I loved the cover; it’s what drew me in🥰🥰🥰

Laramie Mackenzie just watched her sister find her mate and although she is happy for her sister, she also feels like she has to continue to take care of her family. When she feels the mating call, she finds herself in front of Trigger Bain.
Trigger was raised around humans and he has no clue as to life with shifters. When the mating call hits him he begins to see things from a different perspective and questions all that he knows. Can they have a happily ever after or is Laramie doomed to follow in her mothers footsteps.
I would suggest reading these in order as the book definitely intertwines with Laramie’s back story. I liked that Trigger came into the story and although he has a niggling feeling that things are not quite what he thinks it should be, he is influenced by his step-father. Great follow up to the first book.

Fractured Hearts-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Book 7)
This book was my formal introduction to the Grimm Wolves even though I have some knowledge of them because of the Devil’s Handmaidens series and I’m currently planning on when I will have time to go back and read the first 6 books.
Dingo/Frank and Celee won me over from the beginning and worked their way in deeper the further I got into the book. Oh, and there is a puppy which only makes things better.
This group is quite entertaining and not afraid of doing whatever it takes to protect anyone who needs it
I will get caught up and ready for the next book in the series. With being new to the series I was happy I was able to keep up, but definitely think reading in order is the best way to fully appreciate the story.
