Two youths, a Hunter and a Demon Angel who are miles apart despite being in the same class at school were beginning to develop a tenuous friendship when one of them inherits a ring, but this is no ordinary ring, this is one which gives commands, it is as old as time and has its own agenda, keep the chaos and destroy any chance to avert society from crumbling and when the Hunter wears it, he has to ignore the voice within it.
All his life the Demon Angel has known that the bearer of the ring must kill him and his family have insisted on telling him this from the day he could understand them and it has destroyed his confidence, meanwhile, the other family have kept the Hunter in the dark, only telling him what he needs to know at that moment and to work out the rest for himself.
One evening when they have both been invited to a party at one of their fellow students houses when a game of spin the bottle begins and one’s dare is to kiss the other, but it is not the expected peck, it is passionate, this confuses them both, but not for the same reasons.
As time passes, the Demon Angel becomes more and more frustrated with the Hunter for denying him his purpose until he decides to take a chance with destiny, but what happens when they start driving into the night and uncovering secrets long buried? This is a novella with heart, hope and despair throughout which will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions as you fly through the pages wondering what will happen next.
