I absolutely love this series! I have read the previous books so I knew little bits and pieces about Natalie and Anthony and I was really looking forward to more of them and their story. I was never disappointed for even a single second! I was hooked from the start but i always am with this talented authors writing and storylines. I can’t wait to go back to Buckeye Falls.
This fantastic book can absolutely be read as a standalone and fully enjoyed, I know you will love the characters and town as much as I do but I do highly recommend reading the whole series because it is simply that wonderful.

I cannot say enough about the Bennetts of Langston Falls series. I have loved each and every book so far and this is not an exception. Each book definitely functions as a standalone but I do recommend reading each and every one so that you can get to know this family so much better.
This book focuses on Hank Bennet. He loves their family and the small town of Langston Falls. However, he also has a love of music that is bigger than this small town can ever give him. Plus, his band has gone in a different direction (read: not being a band anymore). This finds him at his favorite musicians concert drinking away his sorrows. Enter Ella Mae. She is the beautiful t-shirt slinging merch girl who he is smitten with after they meet. Little does he know that she is also a songwriter who is the sister of that famous musician he just saw on stage. She offers him the opportunity of a life time.
Their immediate connection and dialogue had me hooked on them from the beginning. I wanted to see them succeed as a couple. Once Hank met Travis (that wonderful country singer) I definitely felt myself rooting for Hank and his dreams. I definitely wasn’t expecting this book to send me through all the emotions. And I felt each and every emotion when i was reading this. There were times where I was crying and smiling at the exact same time reading this. This book was filled with drama and hope and happily ever after. Hank and Ella Mae contained a chemistry that dreams are made of. I definitely cannot recommend this book enough!!

I can’t think of a single thing I didn’t like about this book. There is something to be said about chemistry from the start. I loved the way the storyline played out. Some of the action parts I had to read a couple times to get the full picture mentally but I read this book in one day. I simply could not put it down. I really really really hope Rose and Titans story continues!

Walk Off (Ground Rule Book 1) by Bree Kraemer – Review by Candice Estes

Walk OffWalk Off by Bree Kraemer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

When she was 18, Celia Mullen fell in love with Kyle Dulanay, and just as he was being called up to play major league baseball, Celia found out she was pregnant. To protect his ability to live his dream, Celia broke off their relationship, and broke Kyle’s heart. Nearly 8 years later, Kyle is invited to a wedding that Celia, and their daughter Jasmine, are a part of. Kyle is angry, and devastated, to learn that he has a daughter that he knew nothing of and missed out on so much with. Celia feels guilty and knows that she made a mistake, but at the time felt like she was doing the best thing for Kyle, by allowing him to live his dream and not have to make a choice. Kyle now wants to get to know his daughter, and after the anger dissipates, he realizes that he still loves Celia and wants both of them in his life. This is a great start to this series, and I cannot wait to read the rest of them as they come out! There is some strong language, and plenty of steamy scenes, with a guaranteed happily ever after.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Natalie and Anthony Snyder have been married for 10 years, but have recently started to struggle in a way that they never have before. Natalie and her best friend, Ginny, have recently started their event planning business. Anthony is now on his second term as mayor of Buckeye Falls. The couple also now has two kids, a 5 year old and a 2 year old. Between all of the different demands on their time, Natalie and Anthony have lost each other and have both started to feel like they are drifting apart and are unsure of how to fix the problem, though they both know they want to fix it and save their marriage. When Natalie and Anthony are given the opportunity to spend a week alone, helping to pack up his parents’ lake house, they are finally able to reconnect and really talk through what they feel and want. This is a great book, the 3rd in this series. It can be read as a standalone book, but I truly doubt that you will want to once you start.

Brilliant addition to the series
Back in Buckeye Falls with the third book in the series. I love this town and the characters. This is Anthony any Natalie’s story. Always there for everyone else and by all appearances they are perfect but behind closed doors they have lost their way. This contemporary romcom has all the feels. I love every book in the series and it was great to see the other side of Anthony and Nat. Even though each book can be read as a stand-alone, I highly recommend reading them all as you get a deeper understanding of the characters, their background and Buckeye Falls.

This is the third book in the Buckeye Falls series. So much happens in life when you are an adult and you have jobs and kids and everything; sometimes your relationship falls between the cracks. Is that what has happened to Anthony and Natalie? Is there any way for them to fall back in love? I liked this book but it did take me some time to get into.

Falling Again is the third book in the Buckeye Falls series by Libby Kay. This is a charming contemporary romance with a small-town setting- a bit of a romcom with second chances, humour, chemistry, emotion, struggles, pressure, duty, responsibility, expectations, family, friendship, reconnecting, reigniting a spark, realising what’s important, and some drama. I have read a few of Ms. Kay’s books now and have enjoyed them all, and this was no exception and was just as sweet and heart-warming as I expected.
On the surface Anthony and Natalie seem to have the perfect life, but you know what they say about appearances. Their marriage has been stagnating for a while now and the cracks are beginning to show. Anthony, being the Mayor of Buckeye Falls feels he has a lot to live up to considering his father was the former mayor- so Anthony is determined to ensure he exceeds all expectations. Natalie has the pressure of being wife, mother, and business owner. Holding it all together is exhausting. What happens when they get a chance to spend a week together at their lake house. Will they reconnect and rekindle their love? Well worth the read to find out.
I love all the endearing quirky characters- they really bring the stories, and Buckeye Falls to life.
Looking forward to Faking the Fall (Book #4).
Happy Reading…

Thank you, Libby Kay!

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book should be rated a big negative 15 stars because it made me cry. Yes, I said it. This big hard, cold hearted, not a crier was overtaken by all the heavy, intense feels in this book and water leaked from my eyes. As -15 stars is not an official rating and is not a fair one, I can’t help but give it all the stars possible.

I have been a fan of this series since I first dived in with Teddy. I stuck around for Walt, the big ol’softee. I was completely blown away with Hank and his Ella Mae. So, where do we pick up with the Bennett clan? Hank is lost after trying Nashville and finding out that it wasn’t for his band. They didn’t want that life. Weekend gigs in local bars with crowds chanting their name, they were there for that. The hustle and grind of the Nashville music scene, not so much. But he was at home working the family farm.

Feeling sorry for himself, Hank takes himself to a concert for his music idol, Travis Miller. Hank is feeling no pain and looking sad when a pretty girl says hello and offers him water. As Hank talks to the mystery woman, he starts to realize that he might never want to let her go. When she introduces herself as Ella Mae Miller, Hank is stunned. Ella Mae is on tour with her brother. Ella Mae prefers the shadows to the spotlight, so she doesn’t mind being the woman behind Travis’ spotlight.

Hank and Ella Mae bond over many things including family tragedies and the shared knowledge of dark secrets. As some of those secrets start to come to light, Ella Mae must decide who she wants to be and the road she wants to take, knowing that it might cost her one if not both of the men in her life.

Absolutely beautiful. The talk that James gives Hank after they got the news, heart wrenching brotherly love. So many tender moments in this one. It is hard to point to a favorite.

P.S. I see what you are doing to Becky and it better be worth it. Cuz I’m fixin’ to say Nun-uh, No to that.

Ahhh I finished this book 2 minutes ago and rushed to write this review while it’s still fresh. This was probably the most emotional book yet in this series. I cried, I smiled, I cheered. Something about this one touched me to my core. I’m still teary eyed now. Hank is an amazing character and he truly met his other half. I cannot wait for the next one. It’s time for Becks to meet her love.

I love the Buckeye Falls series. It reminds me of hallmark movies. (Maybe hallmark will be interested in turning it into a movie?!) I love for the small town feel. Everyone is so supportive of each other and helpful when needed. There’s love seeping through the pages even if the characters don’t realize it. I honestly loved seeing Anthony (Mayor) in a new light. He came off kind of uppity and out of touch in the last book. Natalie truly is a superhero. Alice was quite the character but I will say by the end of the story I grew to like her. I cannot wait for more about her.

Falling Again is book 3 in the Buckeye Falls series and I love all the books in this series, this book is my favorite. The story really hit home a bit……the struggle of two people who are in love, raising a family and balancing full time careers….and not trying to lose each other in the process…..

Natalie and Anthony have this perfection as a married couple going, or you think they do. Behind closed doors, Natalie and Anthony struggle to keep connected to each other and also with work/life balance. Juggling 2 small children…Natalie building her new business and Anthony as mayor of Buckeye Falls….it is a struggle. When Anthony’s parents ask Natalie and Anthony to go to the lakehouse to clean it out to place it up for sale, this gives them the opportunity to reconnect what was lost. Mix in Anthony’s sister showing up causing chaos, Natalie and Anthony take a break from it all and go all in to pack up the lakehouse and reconnect.

Will Natalie and Anthony come back to each other and get back to being with each other as a priority?

This is a wonderful story, I absolutely could not put this book down. This gave me all the feels of the small town of Buckeye Falls along with second chance romance, love, friendship, secrets and some sugar. I am already looking forward to book 4!!

I read the first book of the series, not the second for some reason but I loved the first book so I knew I’d love this one! I have to go and read the second book ASAP! They’re standalones! Rockstar/musician romances are one of my favorites so this book definitely didn’t disappoint. Hank and Ella Mae are the best and I can’t get enough of them. You think it being a musician romance that it’ll be full of red flags and toxicity but it’s the total opposite of that! So so good. Highly suggest.

While Breathless Love is part of The Bennetts of Langston Falls series, I read it as a standalone and still enjoyed it without any confusion. Even though I read it as a standalone, it gave me a peek into K.G. Fletcher’s writing style, and I am in LOVE with it!

The author really put my emotions through the ringer with this book. I laughed, cried, yelled, and then repeated all over again. The chemistry is absolutely palpable, it just jumps right off the pages. I’m also a country girl at heart, so I’m a sucker for a good old-fashioned country romance. I instantly fell in love with Hank and Ella Mae’s story. The author has such a brilliant way of drawing you in as if you’re experiencing everything firsthand. I am on my way to pick up all the previous books in this series so that I’ll be fully prepared when the fourth book drops!

Breathless Love: A Small Town Friends to Lovers Romance (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 3)

My emotions were all over the place while reading. I got excited, frustrated, laughed and cried which might have happened in the break room at work with people coming in and out

I love the Bennett family so much. They are all such good people and I wish more families were like this.

It’s Hank’s turn to fall and boy does he. Ella Mae is exactly what he needed at that moment. I would like to think she was a gift from his Mama.

Each of the stories is a standalone happy ending, but I always prefer to read the series in order so I know who everyone is.

I cannot wait for the next book. October can’t get here fast enough.

Falling Again (Buckeye Falls Book 3) by Libby Kay – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Falling AgainFalling Again by Libby Kay
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Falling Again is Book Three in the Buckeye Falls series. This book can easily be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading the first two books because the characters all intertwine with one another throughout the series. This second chance romance story centers around the characters of Natalie and her husband Anthony.

Anthony and Natalie Snyder’s lives may seem perfect to outsiders, but they struggle to find time to be together because their lives have become too busy. Anthony is consumed by his job as Mayor and the challenges he faces trying to follow in his father’s footsteps. Natalie is overwhelmed with running her business, juggling motherhood, and trying to be everything to everyone all at the same time. When they finally get a chance to go away for some time alone will it be too late to rekindle their romance and save their marriage?

The author did a beautiful job of writing a story about the challenges of juggling both work and family while finding time as a couple. This is a universal issue that many married couples struggle with and not all marriages are able to overcome these struggles. Adding in small town gossip and the challenges of everyone knowing your business before you do added an extra layer of stress and tension. Although the topic seems heavy the author kept the story light, and it was a fun, enjoyable read. The characters of Natalie and Anthony were wonderful, well written, lovable, and relatable. I especially loved the character of Natalie and felt a connection with her as she struggled a bit with her confidence and self-esteem after having children. It was easy to root for this couple as they worked through their struggles. Natalie and Anthony’s story was full of drama, tension, stress, angst, gossip, self-esteem issues, and the delicate balancing act of work, family, and marriage.

Another enjoyable and engaging sweet romance set in Buckeye Falls, Ohio, which had me happily turning the pages. The Mayor of the small town, Anthony Snyder and his wife Natalie appear to have a perfect life, at least from the outside. However, behind closed doors the couples relationship is struggling. Having followed in his father’s footsteps and become Mayor, Anthony is determined to be just as good if not better than his father, but it means time away from his family. Meanwhile, Natalie is busy with her own growing business, their children’s endless activities and helping others in the town. When a chance visit to their family lake house means a week away from it all, the couple get the opportunity to spend time together and reconnect, but both are worried it may be too late. This is a heartwarming second chance at love romance between two likeable and relatable characters, who’s chemistry comes across in the story. The small town setting, once again is brought vividly to life along with the intriguing residents of Buckeye Falls! It can be read either as part of the series, which I recommend as I’ve loved the previous two books, or as a standalone. An entertaining read, and I look forward to returning to Buckeye Falls soon.

This is the third book in the series and can be read as a standalone. Although you don’t lose anything in relation to the couple by not going back and reading the first two books, I do recommend going back to read them.

The author’s descriptive writing paints a vivid picture of the scene and how the characters feel. The descriptions really let their personalities shine through and make the characters lovable.

I absolutely loved Hank and Ella together, they had such great chemistry and I almost squealed in delight as things developed. Ella’s brother was an interesting character and felt very real to me as I’ve known people with similar motivations.

This has been another great read and I’m gutted I must wait for the next book to be released to continue the series.

This is the second book in the series and although it can be read as a standalone, I wholeheartedly recommend going back to read the first book.

The author has done it again, not only by creating brilliant characters for me to fall in love with, but also the use of descriptive language making it so easy to fall into the scenes with the characters, and feeling what they feel.

From the very beginning I was hooked (again), emotionally invested in the characters and the outcome of their relationship. I am so grateful that this series has happily ever afters otherwise I’m sure I would be curled up in bed grieving for days on end.

I’m so happy I found this series; I binged it in about two days and am left wanting more!

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book in the series, and I have fallen in love with it!

From the offset, the author had me intrigued with the wrongful conviction and how Teddy would cope. Not only this but the descriptive language painted a vivid scene that I was easily able to step into alongside the characters. Just the simple act of eating an apple was written so well. You can feel the emotions of the characters and I got so emotionally invested I had to move straight onto book 2 to at least try to avoid the inevitable book hangover.

From the very first chapter you get a clear picture of who Teddy is and insight into his vulnerabilities. He’s such a sweet character, you can’t help but want to scoop him into your arms and squeeze all the hardship away!
Robyn was so right for him she never stopped believing in him and seeing their reunion and how it progressed was a treat.

I binged this series so hard while on holiday and I loved every second of it!

I feel this is a good story. Were there times I thought it was slow and flipped pages? Yes. Were there times it was soo good that I kept flipping pages? Yes. I liked the beginning up to a point. She acted more like a teen instead of college age kid. I did not like her attitude or thought process. She just seemed mean. The relationship with her brother was trying at times. I really loved the date Tanner took her on! So creative!

The ending seemed rushed. So much (way too much) was put into the buildup that their ending was just left unattended. An epilogue would have helped close those doors that were left open and rounded out the story.

Overall I really liked the idea of the story. I was completely surprised near the end and wish that more time was given there and less during the buildup.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. They are well written and engaging. This book is no different. It is a well written second chance romance that is hard to put down. It is the third book in this series which can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading the previous two books as they are just as great as this one. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world. They are strong, supportive characters that make the story easy and add to the entertainment value. A story where a couple lose their way. Will they find their way back to each other? You don’t want to miss what happens with this couple. They have great growth throughout the story and had me coming back for more. This is a fast paced story that I highly recommend.

Rose is a member of the Wolfsbane coven, whose magical moonstone was stolen long ago. Titan is a member of the Dutchmen coven, the sworn enemies of the Wolfsbane coven and thieves of the moonstone. Titan has finally come of age to find a wife, and must in order to take over his fathers position. Rose has prepared for months for an opportunity to become of the suitors for Titan and get her covens moonstone back. Will it go according to plan, or will the raw attraction drawing them to one another backfire?

Titan wasn’t interested in becoming married, but it is the price he must pay in order to ascend the ranks for his dying fathers position. Rose’s demeanor and rougher ways make it obvious she was not raised to be a gentle queen, but he cannot stop how drawn he is to her. Her lack of noble training is first intriguing, and further attractive.

Rose has planned on this approach for ages, but it is more difficult to stay detached from the situation than she thought. Originally, she knew her bond and love for her sister and coven would be more than enough to make everything work to plan. However, she didn’t expect Titan to call to her so strongly.

There is love and hate, attraction and disgust, spunk, familial ties, magic and so much more is to be found in this story and the characters end the story much more fleshed out than I feared they would be in the beginning.

Natalie and Anthony are at the forefront of this story. Anthony is trying to fill his father’s shoes by following in his career path. Being Mayor is a tough job, it also takes Anthony away from his wife and children. Natalie is running her new business with a friend. She is also taking on home duties. Keeping her household running, getting the kids to their activities, shopping, cooking, event planning and not having time for herself or her husband. This puts a strain on their marriage. Can these two people get back the love they once had? Or is it too late? I love this story and all of the characters in this series. While this story could be a stand alone, I recommend you read the series as the characters from this series bring the story to life. This author wrote this fast paced intriguing romance, and kept the interest of all readers. This is a romance rollercoaster when it comes to emotions. A romance worth reading.

We are back in Buckeye Falls, this time our story is about Anthony and Natalie Snyder. They have it all, he is the mayor, she has a thriving business, they have two children, and their life is perfect. Or is it?
While their life flows in a rhythm of work, the children, sleep, repeat – Natalie misses the connection she used to have with Anthony. Anthony seems to always be busy, as working as mayor of Buckeye Falls is time consuming.
When an opportunity to take a week alone together without their children is presented to them, can they get back on track? Read Falling Again to find out.
This book is fast-paced and wonderfully written. I love these characters and look forward to the next Buckeye Falls book!
