I didn’t know what to expect with this book but it was delightfully captivating. It draws you in and then takes you through a blooming romance and twist and turns all along the way. You can feel the connection between the two main characters. You gradually fall more in love with the characters as the book goes on. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves romances.

This book caught me off guard. I really wasn’t sure if I was going to like it because I am normally not one that is drawn into the circus theme because I don’t care much for clowns. That said, I was blown away with the elegance in which the writer conveys the storyline. The aerialists in this story really are captivating in the way they are described in this story. I love the determination of the leading female character. She sets her mind to something and runs with it. This book brought out a lot of emotions for the characters that help give the reader a sense of being. It really drew me in and made me feel everything they were feeling. There is suspense, love, danger, and a lot more that I wish I could talk about but don’t want to spoil this for others. It is a must read and I can’t wait for the second book because I need to know what happens. The steam in this book is done with grace. It really helps build the storyline. I highly recommend this to anyone who likes suspense, danger, and steam. It was a very quick read because I had to know what happened. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. A dark and kind of depressing story. Unfortunately, this hit a little to close to home, I had a family member go through something similar to this. It is a reminder that there is always hope at the end of the journey when life is hard. The struggle may be rough. It’s a hard story. The issues of addiction, conversion therapy, etc. may be hard for some readers to read. It’s a story worth reading because it is well-written and, though dark, the author gives hope. Underneath The Whiskey is a New Adult MM romance tale. This is the first time I have read Chelsea’s work and let me tell you it pulled on my heart and made it ache. The emotions are real people. There are many hard subjects dealt with in this story alcoholism, mental illness, sexual assault, violence and suicide. Chelsea has done a good job in writing these issues. Underneath The Whiskey is dark and complex story of a closeted gay man who is living a life of lies. The pain, the suffering, the longing, the wants, denial, the horrors of what our MC had to go through just about broke me. Conversion therapy oh h*ll no! no, no. Sexual violence no! just no. But this is what our characters had to deal with. I have too many family members and friends that have had to deal with these issues, so it hit an extra spot in me. The characters are complex, full of flaws and raw and not easy to like. There is a harshness to them that comes from trying to protect oneself. We see inner struggles and watch as they finally work through demons and on the way to self-acceptance. This book will not be for everyone, but I encourage you to give it a go.

This story will have you turning the pages to find out how she does it and all that she deals with along the way. LOVED this book and will be reading the first two just to tie it all together.

I enjoyed the premise of this book. A true loves kiss, is it enough? There was a good mix of adventure and romance that kept your attention. YES! I absolutely LOVED this different view of Sleeping Beauty and how the author made it their own. I have enjoyed other books by Natalina Reis but was still unprepared for how much I was going to fall for this one. The flow of the story took me a little bit to get used to, but once I found the rhythm there was just no letting go. I love the characters and how deeply invested I became throughout the book. I can’t wait to see what our amazing author has in store for us next!

This is my third Reis book and I just love how she mixes her elements of fantasy with a whirlwind of romance! Love this book just as much! Part sleeping beauty aspects mixed in with dark magic overtaking a kingdom and it is up to Ayo and Yi to figure out how to help the situation. Along with a group of people that they meet and connect with throughout the story, the story takes the reader through secrets and betrayal, rediscovery, and fighting for what you love. If you’re a Reis fan or simply love fantasy type stories, give this one a try! It would be worth it!

I read this book without reading the first two in the series. I feel like this book can be read alone, but readers would probably benefit from reading the first two books. I felt the writing was good, especially the dialogue and communication between characters. Cecily Taylor Damone wants to be with her boyfriend, Andrew, and also have a successful acting career. Throughout their relationship, jealously threatens to keep Cecily and Andrew apart. I dislike how jealous the two characters are, but this is a young adult romance and I feel the characters are portrayed well for being young adults. I enjoyed this read even though I am much older than young adults. I look forward to seeing what is in store for Cecily in the next book.

This book is such a fantastic read, I found it not knowing it was book 3. I still read it and I loved it. It is on the shorter side but it is worth it. I couldn’t put it down. The characters are so well written and the storyline is wonderful. I am not going to lie even though I am way past the YA age I still read books from that category. The writing is different and more relatable. I’m definitely going to go back and read the other books and whatever else the author has written.

I always enjoy this author’s books! This one was a great young adult read following Cecily on her journey to stardom. She has a good head on her shoulders and her parents are so supportive. Even her friends are supportive and want the best for her. I like that you get to read the text conversations that she has with her friends. I really felt where Andrew was coming from with Dex and it definitely made me curious where things were going to lead. Cecily is young though and everything is new for her at this stage in her life. I really love how she holds onto her values and stays honest. I did not realize this was book 3 until after I finished it! I will say that I was able to understand the storyline pretty well and will definitely be going back to read book 1 and 2 in the series!

Sleeping Love is a MM fantasy romance story that tells the story of the friendship turned love between Ayo and Yi. Ayo met Yi when orphaned at a young age and the two became best friends. As Ayo got older, he started to learn about his magical powers. When Yi’s father, the king feels that Ayo’s magic becomes a threat to him he strips him of his magic and banishes him to a desolate land. When a curse falls over the kingdom it turns out that Yi is the only one who may be able to break the curse. Ayo is able to wake Yi with a kiss and rekindle their romance, but danger lurks around each corner which puts their relationship at risk.
This book was a bit of an interesting twist on the classic Sleeping Beauty story that drew me in and compelled me to read to the end. The scenes were superbly written, detailed, and make you feel as though you are there at that time and place. The characters of Yi and Ayo were interesting, and it was refreshing to see that the two had forged a friendship and gotten to know one another before it turned to romance. I could not help but root for them to be together and overcome the obstacles that kept insisting on getting in their way. A great story with drama, action, suspense, magic, forbidden romance, curses, friendship, a prince, an evil king, and friends becoming lovers.

An enjoyable and entertaining heartwarming romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Likeable and relatable main character Bailey is fed up with her brother, and his ridiculous list of ways she needs to improve! The stupid list is also the reason why she’s on a date with Tanner, the weirdest guy at the Froyo shop. However, both Tanner and the date are very different to how Bailey expected them to be. As the couple spend more time together, they get to know each other better, and soon Bailey is forced to face all her imperfections that she’s been ignoring for years. She then has to decide if she’s got what it takes to, “get over herself”, and if so will she do it? I loved the relationship between Bailey and Tanner and although they had obvious chemistry, I enjoyed how their romance developed throughout the story.

This is a dark student, teacher romantic suspense which had me gripped from start to finish and kept me captivated throughout. When new student Cassandra arrives at his circus, acrobat and silk aerialist Chandler Moreau is tempted to traverse the line between darkness and desire. Cassandra has always been enraptured by Chandler, a man who defies gravity and wanted to belong to his world, and to perform with him. However, Chandler is no ordinary mentor and along with teaching her, he also ignites her deepest and most sinful desires, until the dangerous man becomes Cassandra’s only salvation. For Chandler, Cassandra Blackstone was his protege, but also the woman he wanted. She tempted him and became a sanctuary for his darkest and wildest desires, but he never intended to fall in love with her. He was supposed to protect her from both himself and the demons in his past, but despite his grandfather’s warnings he wanted her in his life. Cassandra and Chandler share a history which entwines them, like the silks they spent their lives mastering do. The secrets from the past threaten to destroy their future. The wonderfully detailed and descriptive narrative really brought the circus setting vividly to life, and made me feel immersed in the world of the two silk aerialists. The main characters had me engaged from the beginning, and their chemistry sizzled off the page whilst their slow burn romance kept me hooked.

Cecily’s dreams are coming true as she gets a major role in a daytime soap opera and moves to the big city, which just so happens to be the city her popstar boyfriend lives in! Things are looking up! More opportunities come her way, and she takes them to help gt her name out, not knowing the rumors that would begin speading. She finds herself questioning her dicisions and even wondering if moving to the big city was the right decision for her or if she should have stayed put. This is the 3rd book in the deligtful Cecily Taylor series, annd I highly suggest takign the time to real all three books! They are fun and interesting, and kept me turning page after page until I found myself finished with the book!!

I was initially drawn to this book because of the blurb – I found it intriguing and different from the other romances I’ve read recently.
The author paints a vivid picture of the amazing world they have created and I felt like I could step right into the landscape alongside the characters. Both the plot and characters are well-written, developed and gripping. I couldn’t wait to find out what was past the darkness and how the characters would face the dangers in front of them.
The characters were amazing – some really riled me up and others stole my heart. I loved getting emotionally invested in these characters for example Cressida – I really felt for her and everything she faced.
I really enjoyed the writing style used in this book, and I’ll be looking out for more by this author in future.
