This book is a huge storm of action, romance, mystery, and tenacity! I absolutely loved every second of it, and just devoured it! I don’t know if I was just so drawn in to the book that it took me such a short time to finish it, or if it is a shorter book, but either way it was a very quick read! I highly recommend this author and this series! Mafia lovers, don’t sleep on Sicilian God’s! You won’t regret it, because this author does not disappoint!

This series is so much more and I fall in love with each book in this series and I want to be part of the Bennett Family. Can I say….this story of Hank and Ella Mae…..has me in my feelings hard. Love, courage, hard decisions….this story really gave me just the raw emotion what it is like to be in the limelight as a musician..including the ups and downs.

Hank never wanted to give up on his dream as a country musician…..but at the moment, the timing for him is not right and Hank is feeling a bit lost. A chance encounter at a Travis Miller concert, Hank meets Ella Mae….and finding out that Ella Mae is Travis’ sister. Ella Mae is bold and outgoing and takes a chance on Hank and invites him on a whirlwind trip along with her brother to know what is feels like truly to be on the road as a musician. When Hank and Ella Mae get to really know each other, they soon find out that their love of music is not the only thing they have in common. Hank and Ella Mae’s love for each other blossom….but behind the curtain, is being a big time musician all what is is cracked up to be? When past demons threaten Hank and Ella Mae will their love for each other survive……

I do not want to give away the story….but I can honestly say I could talk about this book forever. This story just really got me….hard……..and I totally love Hank and Ella Mae and their characters. Hank and his gentleman ways and how respectful and caring he is and Ella Mae and her courage and boldness to keep her and her brother together through the limelight. I am already anticipating book 4……

This was the first book that I have read from this author. The synopsis drew me in but the story kept me here! The story line was original and it kept me entertained. This book was great from start to finish! It was spooky, mysterious and romantic. The characters in the book were amazing, the support of family and the culture really tied it all together for me.

At the risk of sounding like a cougar 🤣🙈 how delectable is this cover 🔥

Riley and Cole are so different yet so similar and that’s what makes them perfect 😉

Riley comes from “ the other side of the tracks” and has to fight to survive and her mother is a case of “ cuckoo flew over the nest “ and Riley doesn’t have it easy ….

Cole comes from “!the right side of the track “ but the grass isn’t always greener that side is it !?

Cole is the boy every girl wants so when their paths ( lip smacking hotness) cross I don’t think either we’re ready for what came next ….

A brilliant taste test teaser of what’s to come 🫶🏼🔥

I was drawn in by the synopsis of this book and truly looked forward to reading a novel with paranormal elements. I tend to gravitate toward a lot of the same authors so I wasn’t sure what to expect going into this book, since this author was new to me. Not only did the storyline exceed my expectations, I was really impressed with the author’s writing style. What I enjoyed most, however, were the main characters. Each character was written in a strong way and truly enjoyable. I was also surprised by the range of emotion the story held. There were a lot of entertaining complexities, far more intricate than the “campfire ghost story” I was anticipating. This is definitely a book I’d recommend by an author I will be looking out for.

This was the first book that I read from this author and found it to be enjoyable. This paranormal mystery has it all – ghosts, romance, danger and more!

The plot was intriguing and the author balanced suspense and humour well to create a great story. This alongside a collection of well-developed characters made the story really stand out to me. I loved it!

Events and characters are woven together so well in a way that isn’t always obvious. The ghost element drew me in at first, but the connections in mystery elements blew me away.

I was very invested and couldn’t put the book down. I’ll be looking out for more from this author!

I really enjoyed reading Stars Like Gasoline! This was the first book I’ve read by this author, so I was pleasantly surprised by the complex characters and incredibly detailed world-building. The author expertly combines past and present creating a magnificent flow of the story, as well as a very realistic experience for the reader. I find that most stories only dive deep into one character and the rest support that one, but this book really developed each character incredibly well! I plan on following this author closely because their writing style is nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend picking this one up, especially if you enjoy romantic suspense with a major paranormal theme.

Wow. Usually, MM books aren’t something I get invested in, but this book had me begging for more. Autumn has a way of writing a world where you feel like you’re watching the story take place around you. I didn’t want to leave the world. The obvious love these two share for each other is undeniable. No matter how they try to fight it, it’s there. They’ve been through hell and back, and it’s a battle to make it to where they end up. You wont regret reading this book. I promise.

An entertaining read with an intriguing storyline and a host of fascinating characters, which kept me captivated throughout. Florida art curator, Celia purchases the house of her brother’s deceased fiancé, only to find that its haunted. In order to get rid of the malevolent ghosts who are threatening her life and career, she enlists the help of Oscar, her brother and Adrian, his late fiancé’s best friend. Celia discovers a hidden journal from the 1980s belonging to a revered artist, and this is the start of a series of events which involve a dead French artist, a Dutch aerospace heiress, and a missing presumed dead Japanese painter. Things take a sinister turn when Celia and Oscar are threatened by a stalker. Meanwhile, as Adrian and Celia spend time together deciphering the clues they cannot deny their mutual attraction. However, they get the feeling that someone is playing a game with them all and their lives might actually be in danger. This is an enjoyable and engaging read which drew me in from page one. The setting and characters where brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative, making me feel immersed in the story. The storyline had a mix of paranormal, mystery, suspense and a slow burn romance, which kept me happily turning the pages.

KG does it again and again. Breathless Love is another wonderful friends to lovers romance tale. There has not been a story that KG has written that I have not fallen in love with. Hank and Ella’s story is one of my favourites.
This sweet story is filled with fun, passion and pain, struggle and loss, drama and tragedy, pain and heartache.
The chemistry is off the charts, and it is sexy and steamy.
A magical rock star romance story with the southern charm of the small town of Langston Falls and a look at the music world.
What more could you want with music, family, love and great characters.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers so grab a copy and fall in love all over again.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is a new to me author and I really enjoyed this book.
Eleanor or Elle, moves back home without warning running from her husband with bruises both visible and not. Her family welcomes her home with open arms but also wants to help her gain her confidence back.
Being back home in her small town brings her face to face with Blake, who has his own issues.
When Elle becomes his new “boss” they push each others buttons and build each other back up in the process.
I liked the interactions with everyone in this story, yes even Ty despite what he did. I felt connected to this story but I did not expect that twist in there so great job to the author on that one. Hope we get to see more of this town.

It has been a while since I read a book from this author and as soon as I picked this book up I couldn’t understand why I had waited so long. This book is everything I have come to expect from this author – a fantastic story, brilliant and engaging characters and chemistry on almost every page. It took no time at all for me to connect with this story and before I knew it I was finishing the book in one sitting.
These characters were made for each other. They have such a deep connection and I loved to see it develop throughout the book. I was behind them the whole way and couldn’t wait to see how things would work out between them. This author really does know how to create fantastic characters. This is a fantastic book and I would highly recommend it.

The author brings you right into the heart of the story right away as we meet Kyle and Lyle and learn of how immediately intense the connection is between them. Honestly my thoughts of their home lives were so sad in that they grew up in such extremely tragic situations. But in the midst of everything, they have each other as brothers. As the story unfolds, we learn that the bond between them is much more than brothers. I was intrigued by their connection and the way they tried to hide it even though it was evident. This was a really well written book! I highly recommend!

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Another enjoyable and engaging story involving the Bennett’s of Langston Falls. This contemporary romance can be read as a standalone story, however having read and loved the previous books in the series I recommend reading them all! This is a friends to lovers romance which takes place in the small town setting of Langston Falls, which is once once again brought vividly to life through the descriptive narrative. Hank Bennett’s dream is to be a country music star, but following the breakup off his band he’s at a crossroad and is wondering whether to continue with his music, or working on his family’s farm. Attending the hometown concert of his country music idol, Travis Miller changes everything, when he meets Travis’s award winning songwriting sister Ella Mae.
Ella Mae invites Hank to join them on the tour and their mutual attraction is obvious and their chemistry leads to a passionate night. However, her famous brother becomes jealous and Hank starts to think that as a wannabe musician, he’s not good enough for Ella Mae. Meanwhile she’s dealing with the darker side of fame with her brothers drug and alcohol addiction. I loved Hank and Ella Mae and their chemistry really sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. I enjoyed how their relationship developed throughout the story, and liked their hayloft serenades. I felt both immersed in the story and engaged with the characters, and was cheering the couple on to a promised HEA.

Obedience (Ties That Bind Book 1) by Liza Snow – Review by Brandy Rymer

ObedienceObedience by Liza Snow
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Liza Snow’s book Obedience had me at the edge of my seat from the first page! There are so many twists and turns, that you never know what’s coming next. I love the characters and the deep understanding that you get from reading Chandler and Cassandra’s points of view. Right from the start I was cheering for Cassandra to get her idol, the magnificent, high-flying Chandler, the master of the silks. I loved the push and pull that these two characters went through, the sexual tension could be cut with a knife as they go back and forth as they got to work together and get to know each other. No matter how much Chandler tried to deny his desire for Cassandra to protect her, the more she wanted him. The more he tried to push her away, the stronger the sexual tension grew. The setting of the story is so beautifully portrayed that I felt like I was right there watching all of the circus acts as well as all the practices with the silks, on the edge of my seat praying no one fell, or had any mishaps. I kept wondering about Cassandra’s mysterious past, and her Uncle who was in prison. What is Chandler hiding in his own personal past that he is trying to protect Cassandra from, and why does his father hate her so? Could their pasts be connected deeper than the two realize, and if so will they ever be able to have their happily ever after? You’ll have to read the book to find out, I’m not spoiling it for you! So excited for the next book in this series to come out in October, the wait is killing me!!!

Stay For Me (The Balefire Series Book 5) by Tam DeRudder Jackson – Review by Kerry Carr

Stay For Me (The Balefire Series Book 5)Stay For Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the fifth book in the Balefire Series even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone. However I do recommend reading them previous books as the characters are in all of the stories and you will be able to understand all the characters and their stories.

This story follow the bands manager Garrett and Olivia.
Garrett and Olivia have a past. They were young loves but their relationship fell apart when Garrett choose to follow the band as their manager instead of staying with Olivia. Olivia was left hurt and heartbroken but she pushed forward in her life.

Fast forward and Garrett made his dreams come true, he manages one of the most successful bands ever but he can never get Olivia out of his head.
Olivia has done well for herself too. Her determination means she owns her own production company. When Garrett contacts her to produce the next music video for the band she is filled with loads of emotions. Why does he want to see her now?
As things progress Garrett realises she is the one for him and he is determined to win her back. But is it too late? Can Olivia forgive him for what happened all those years before? Even though the attraction between them is still there and strong can too much have happened for them to work through it?

This story is a steamy read. I wasn’t a fan of Garrett in previous books but after reading this i can understand the things that lead him to be the way he is today and the way he was with the members of the band and their ladies. I can understand Olivia’s reluctance and determination to not be hurt by Garrett again. It took her so long to rebuild herself after he broke her heart the first time.
This story is a rollercoaster full with past heartbreaks, trust issues and hope that they can overcome all the odds to get to their happily ever after.

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 3) by KG Fletcher – Review by Tara Johnson Barnes

Breathless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #3)Breathless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Breathless Love is Book Three in The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. This story focuses on Hank, who dreams of being a country music star, and Ella Mae, who is a songwriter for her famous country music star, Travis. Hank was in a band, but they did not share in his dream, so he is now trying to figure out whether to continue pursuing his dream or work on the family farm. Hank meets Ella Mae purely by chance when he goes to her brother Travis’ concert. She invites him to go on tour with them and as they spend more time together their attraction grows and romance blooms between them.

This was an exquisitely written, wholesome contemporary romance with vivid scenes that fully immersed you into the storyline with the characters. The characters were wonderful, and I found them to be lovable, relatable, and easy to root for. Hank was old-fashioned, sincere, kind, smart, ambitious and it was refreshing to see how much in love he was with Ella Mae. He will do anything to protect her and be there for her as she struggles with her brother’s drug and alcohol addiction. Ella Mae is sweet, kind, sincere, driven, smart, and talented. She loves Hank and wants to be there for him as well even through her own struggles. The two share a mutual love for music which is the starting point for a romance between them to bloom from friendship to mutual attraction, to unconditional true love. A beautifully written love story with downs that will have you reaching for the box of Kleenex and other moments that will leave you breathless.

I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. An engaging romance story about chasing dreams when life is at a crossroads. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world from the start. They are strong, connectable characters that add so much to the story. They have great growth as well as chemistry throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Hank & Ella Mae’s story is one that will touch your heart. Oh my goodness, the chemistry is sparking. Ella Mae is working through some real challenges with her brother and herself. Hank is a sweet, sweet cowboy that is the best kind of heart you could hope to find. The story is both heartwarming yet tragic. Faces from the Bennet family pop into the story (I sure hope we get Becky’s story, too). I love this author’s writing. It’s real, relatable and you feel the writing. I smiled, laughed and cried with them, tears of pain and joy. This is a beautiful story that will take you behind the scenes of a musical artist’s life. Gritty, yet if can be romantic. Oh, this is one of my favorite authors and this series will be joining my library. Absolute beauty.

Country music romance
Book 3 of The Bennetts of Langston Falls brings us Hank and Ella Mae’s story. It’s a composition made in country heaven. The writing is brilliant and draws you in, and I quickly became vested in the characters. It’s dual POV, which I love, and there is drama, romance and tension that keeps you turning the pages. This can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s worth catching up with all the Bennetts. Recommend.

Cassandra has waited all her life to be a top class aerialist, studying with the best in the industry, Chandler Moreau but can fantasy and reality match up. Once she has passed her audition she is embraced in the world of the Circus, with friends who knew her parents but one person is her obsession and curse as your hero’s are never quite the same.

Chandler Moreau is stuck in the illusion of a perfect life on the outside but a tortured soul on the inside, with his father’s and family pressures all he wants to do is fly in the circus. Until one day she walks into his life and plants herself deeply in his soul but will his dark family history and her thirst to find who killed her parents come crashing down around them and drive a wedge through them in the end.

I enjoyed the story and the characters within greatly, they way it built up the tense was brilliant to read. The chemistry between Chandler and Cassandra was palpable off the page and during the Shibari scenes where erotic in description and wording.

The one regret is I feel the story dragged a little at the start and took a while to build with the relationship between the two main characters but other than that I really enjoyed the book and can’t wait to read more by this author in the future.

Three Women in November by Jim Shomos – Review by Heather Bass

Three Women in NovemberThree Women in November by Jim Shomos
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read from this author and I’m so glad I read it. It has been a while since I have read a true love story in a long time and this story exceeded all my expectations. I could not put this book down until I was finished. These ladies drew me right from the start. It only took me a few hours to devour this epic love story.

Leo knows the right woman is out there but he is so busy with his career right now. He is an award winning game entrepreneur and he loves it. Fiddle and Fire (Hearts of Gold Book 2) by Ariella Talix – Review by Ashley Sugar

Fiddle and Fire: A Steamy Historical MMF Romance (Hearts of Gold Book 2)Fiddle and Fire: A Steamy Historical MMF Romance by Ariella Talix
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first historical romance and I enjoyed it. The suspense, the drama, the steam…loved it all. I like a good fast paced book every now and then so if you do too, read this. MMF is one of my favorite things to read so that had my attention from the start. I plan on reading the first book to this series! Glad I gave this book a shot. For mature readers!
