The conclusion to Savage Lies is Savage Truth and it is a good story. High-schoolers facing very adult situations about life, love and death.
This story is about Cole and Riley. All the things that bothered them in book one, Savage Lies, come to light in this book. Questions are answered, relationships are formed and life completely changes.
Even though young adult stories aren’t my favorites, this duet is a really good story. This author makes this genre easy to read; this story exciting and easy to follow.
While this is the conclusion to Riley and Cole’s story, there are other characters that have something to say and this author brings us a few more stories in this series.

Three Women in November is based on a true story of a divorced dad of boys living in Australia who decides to move on and find love. Leo is a bit of a romantic with old-fashioned ideas about love, dating, and romance. In his quest for love he meets three very different women with different backgrounds that capture his attention.
Leo meets Zoya on a business trip and likes her, so he pursues a relationship with her. The chemistry is there between them, but Zoya tends to lash out in anger at odd times. They decide the relationship will not work and call it quits. She does let him know that his scars will never heal unless he works on them.
Leo finds himself single and talking to his counsellor who he develops an attraction to, but he is her patient. They do try a relationship, but it does not work out. Aysha tells him that he needs to learn to love himself or a relationship will never work.
Then Leo meets Jade who is in a flailing marriage and must put the needs of her children first. She is trying to find her way after her marriage ends and must wait until her son finishes school in November.
This was an interesting story and I enjoyed how the pursuit of love and a soulmate was told from the male’s point of view. I found it unique and refreshing that a man like Leo could be old-fashioned and a true romantic at heart. Leo met three very different women who all had their own issues and baggage, yet they all had things in common. Each of these women have unresolved issues and emotional scars. Each woman makes him wait to have a normal and healthy relationship. Each woman’s deadlines for love have Leo waiting until November. Each woman tells him that he needs to work on himself before he can have a healthy relationship. This is so true, and I feel that most of us can relate to how broken and unlovable we feel after coming out of a bad relationship. We cannot truly love another unless we learn to love ourselves first. This book was a great read that shows us how vulnerable men can also feel while seeking love. It was a light hearted, emotional, witty, raw, and real look at love, dating, and relationships.

This book is based on a true story. I loved how it was told from the male’s perspective. He is trying his best to find love again. However, as he does he is encounters three women who definitely each have their flaws. I really enjoyed how each of the characters had their own problems and each was flawed in their own ways. I think it definitely is a more accurate perception of dating in the real world than is usually shown in stories. I think that the characters were well developed and the story definitely kept me wanting to read. I definitely enjoyed this one!

This was such a fantastic book! I will say that it has a trigger warning for abuse and it definitely needs a trigger warning. Elle left home 6 years ago with Aaron, the man that she thought was the love of her life. Man was she wrong. She has escaped Aaron and is left with some scars both visible and invisible. She is shocked when the family she left behind takes her back with open arms and rallies around her. She sets out to attempt to save and rebuild her grandmothers house before the family sells it (if they still need to). Blake was in love with Elle. He never quite got over her. When she comes back they have the opportunity to work together and rebuild their relationship. I loved watching Elle become stronger and more sure of herself. I also really loved how she advocated when she wanted something to do rather than sit around and be scared that Aaron would find her. I also love how quick her sisters were to agree and defend her. I feel like this is the true story of overcoming struggles and perseverance in hard times. More importantly I truly think this is a survivors tale. I definitely recommend it!

OMG, I loved this book so very much. I loved the first two books in the trading heartbeats series. BUT I loved this one the most. I could not put it down. I feel like Mitch and Lauren had such a relatable story on so many levels. I really was rooting for them and had tears running down my face through much of this book. That is how much I related to this book. I have read all three books but they definitely stand alone. By reading all three you get a deeper understanding of all the characters but you could read this by itself and completely understand it. I definitely recommend reading all three because if you don’t you’ll miss out on wonderful stories. Julie Navickas writes such relatable stories and characters who are so well developed. Definitely pick it up and get a book you can’t put down.

Foxy Tails is a MM paranormal romance between a shapeshifting fox and a healer that meet quite accidentally. Huli is a nine-tailed fox that lives in a world that hunts him because they believe he is a demon. The story starts out action packed with the fox fleeing from hunters after trying to seduce the wrong person. The Fox does not always think clearly when he needs to feed, and this often leads to trouble for him. He tries to seek shelter in a home that he thought was unoccupied but quickly learns that someone does indeed live there. The home he sought shelter in belongs to Xiao Ying who is a divine healer. The two find a connection in that they both lead lives that are lonely and feel an attraction towards one another.
This was a fun and engaging story, and I liked how the story started out with the way in which Huli and Xiao Ying first meet. The introduction was quite accidental and unexpected but obviously fate intervened to bring them together. The romance takes a bit to get started, which in all honesty I enjoyed. It was not instant chemistry but more of a slow burning romance and a relationship that built over time. I found this to be refreshing and a bit more believable. Huli was as to be expected as a fox because he was sly, clever and did not always think before acting on impulse. Xiao Ying is a bit quiet and reserved but it is because he is wise and perceptive. The two characters brought out the best in one another and made a perfect couple. This book was full of action, suspense, intrigue, adventure, danger, magic, and romance.

This is a M/M romance novel and is 194 pages in length. This story follows Kyle and Lyle. Both had a traumatic, abusive past. Once they met, they were inseparable. As they became older, feelings started to emerge. Kyle had to leave but swore he would come back for Lyle. A tragedy in the family brings them back together and it’s time to face each other.
An enjoyable and entertaining contemporary romance which is based on a true story. The storyline is told from Leo’s perspective as he goes on a journey looking for love. Leo, an award winning mobile games pioneer is also a romantic, and he’s looking for his soulmate. However, each of the three women that he has a deep connection with over a three year time period, have their own reasons for not having a relationship. Zoya, is an ambitious CEO of a government new-media agency who just does not have love on her agenda. Sought after psychotherapist Aysha has never fallen for a client and is reluctant to break her own rule. Global academic and past rock chick Jade gave up on love after her recent marriage broke down. One after the other the three high achieving women push Leo away, but their self imposed deadlines all fall in the same month, resulting in Leo having a date with three women in November! It’s refreshing to read a romance from the males point of view, and I found Leo to be a likeable and relatable guy, who was just looking for love. I was fully immersed in the story which was lighthearted at times, with some laugh out loud moments and then fairly emotional at other times. An intriguing and engaging read, and one which kept me captivated throughout.

I enjoyed this story of finding romance. The fast it is based around true events really brought the story to life. You can’t help for feel for Leo as he searches for that special someone. He’s an old fashioned romantic which was nice and refreshing to read about. The problem is the women Leo is attracted to and feels a connection with all have their own problems and issues to deal with. His connection with all 3 women is unique and special however at the time he meets them a relationship is the last thing any of them want. As time progresses Leo doesn’t give up hope of finding love but what happens when the 3 women he is attracted to all become free and more open to him romantically at the same time. Is this destiny’s way of rewarding Leo for believing in love and not giving up hope? It is a very moving story with moments that make you laugh out loud. The 3 women are all unique and different and each one is dealing with different issues in their own way. It was refreshing to read a romance from a males perspective and I liked how the author showed us every side of Leo’s character from his love of romance to his unmoving stubbornness. It showed that no matter what we may think no one is perfect.

This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book that I picked up. One of the things I enjoy most about this author is her writing skills that bring her characters to life. They are engaging and hard to put down stories. This book is no different. This is a well written story that is full of action, romance and fantasy. This is a friends to lovers story that you don’t want to miss. The characters are strong, relatable, and supportive of each other which made the story easy to read. They add so much to the story and the entertaining value. They have great growth as well as chemistry throughout the story. This is a fast paced story that I read in one sitting. I really enjoyed reading this fantasy story. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This last book is Mitch and Lauren’s story which is another roller coaster of emotions and a fight from the heart. With a past connection to build on there is so much more they need to endure. All the pieces just click as the interwoven storyline comes to a conclusion. Highly recommend.

Nadia han continues to charm us one story at a time. She has a way with words, and creates characters that continue to speak for them selves. Book 3 was one of my favorite, and a definite re-read in the future. Grayson is headstrong, stubborn, sexy, and extremely intelligent. Natalie and Grayson share a Connection that even a sexual tension cant hold. They are two different sides of the same coin, and while it’s all in or nothing there are still some defiant parties.. Some chapters are so intense you could feel the anger, the heat, the frustration, and the friction from the pull between them. Natalie was a woman on a mission. She worked hard and, played harder. Prepare to not put this book down.

I’ll Love You Tomorrow is the third and final installment in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy. You can see some of the characters/ couples from the first two books in the series mentioned here, but this can still easily be read as a standalone book. I would definitely encourage you to read the whole series though, as Julie Navickas has written interesting, realistic characters that are believable as they face the possibilities of love and heartache. You will definitely want to know more about how other couples found love. This book is a fun contemporary second-chance romance and a perfect way to end this amazing series.
Mitch and Lauren knew from a young age that they were meant to be together and they made that happen, but as the years have crept on they’ve grown distant and their marriage is suffering because of it. So many things can happen in your life that can cause couples to either grow together or grow apart. Julie Navickas has captured this so beautifully and with such emotion that I couldn’t help but be drawn into the characters’ lives. Can a marriage be saved if the divide has already grown between them? This is what Mitch and Lauren try to figure out as they both take a look at their lives, their marriage, and themselves.
Though I loved the first two books, I must admit this one’s my favorite. I loved the almost reverse-romance writing style in this book as we got to see not the couple coming together and a budding new romance, but we got to see an imploding couple on the brink kind of deconstruct their marriage to see if it could be reconstructed. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good getting-together romance just like the next person, but we had already gotten to see glimpses of their relationship in the previous two books, so it was nice to see a more realistic relationship that has suffered some trying to be rebuilt. I guess this also really struck me emotionally because I was like Mitch and Lauren and wanted a child, but had trouble making that dream a reality. I’m sorry to see this series come to an end, but am so glad I read it.

Healing Kiss is the first book I have read by this author so I did not quite know what to expect but this was a beautifully written book. Between the mayhem, romance, and emotional heartstrings that are pulled I couldn’t put this one down.
Lillian is a healer, her gifts make her an excellent nurse, but with a gift as valuable as it is they also make her a large target for Kinetica. A large corporation looking to essentially bottle her DNA to use to gain power and make money. Now Hannah, her sister, is gravely ill and after a chance encounter with Tristan, Lillian discovers he is the only one she knows with enough vitality for her to draw off to heal her sister. Tristan doesn’t believe in the supernatural at all but with his own mother dying and other conflicts in his life he strikes a deal with the intriguing nurse. The problem is as their relationship grows their secrets become closer than ever to being discovered. Can they manage to save their loved ones while keeping everyone in the dark about their abilities?
This is a magical, slow burn romance, that had me turning pages until the very last one. There is enough action and events that happen to keep the reader engaged in the story even as they wait for the romance to blossom. I really enjoyed this book and will definitely take a look at others this author has written.

From the moment I picked up Natalina Reis’s book Foxy Tails I could not put it down. The action begins right from the beginning of the book as you get to know your main character Huli the nine-tailed fox as he’s running for his life. His character was so well developed right from the start that there was no misunderstanding of his personality, he was cocky, very sexual, and he outright loved men, which is what got him into trouble in the first place. Shockingly his best friend, Ling Ling, was a female warrior who stood up for Huli no matter what mischief he got himself into. We get to meet the mysterious healer Xiao Ying by chance when he saves Huli’s life not once but twice in the first few chapters of the book. I love the way Natalina uses such great descriptions of the surroundings that you can paint a mental picture in your mind. The way she develops the characters it’s so hard to decide if you love them or hate them because you’re so wrapped up in their lives and their stories, you just are there along for the ride, with no time to think. I love the progression that Natalina takes with this book, the unexpectedness of what happens just keeps you wanting more, as I said I just couldn’t put the book down until it was finished. This is a great read, but not for the younger minds, that is for sure. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and the intricacies of this tale, and want to read more from Natlina Reis!

The plot of the story is great and the truth that comes out is nothing like you expect! Watching these two and their families reunite and work together is beautiful. I loved this book! And cannot wait for the next one in the series!

Wow. The way the author just sucks the reader in right from the first page- Immaculate!! I was so enthralled with Cass and Chandler, that I couldn’t put the book down! The plot was absolutely amazing, and I found myself drawn so much to the characters. The writing style was so easy to get lost in, and made the book that much better. It’s a dual POV, age gap, slightly dark romance, and I am absolutely in love and ready for the next book!!

This is a good story about picking yourself up and finding love again. Elle returns home with both seen and unseen bruises. She quickly finds out that trying to hide secrets and heal in a small town proves to be quite challenging. Add in her childhood sweetheart, who has quite the surly response to her reappearance, and things get even more complicated. Seems that Blake has been fighting his own demons since Elle left town.
I found my heart going out for Elle and wanting her to be able to find happiness. By having Blake help her with the ranch, the reader can only hope that they will both pick themselves up and get back on the right track. I really admired Blake’s own journey of healing. Add in Elle’s family who were supportive and it makes reading a story that covers some quite heavy subject matters a little easier to get through. Overall, a good book that I enjoyed.

This was a good 4 star read. I am really enjoying this series and this book pulled me right in. I really enjoyed the characters. Garrett had to make some choices early on in his career that were not easy. Years later he starts to realize what he gave up. Fate steps in and he runs into Olivia, the one that he destroyed with his choices. Olivia has a great career directing music videos, of course her new video is for the band that Garrett manages. Will Garrett be able to capture Olivia’s heart again? Or will he lose her again? Overall I really enjoyed this read. My emotions were all over the place. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. You can read this book as a stand alone but I suggest reading from the start so you are familiar with all of the characters. Oh my goodness! I loved this book! My emotions are still all over the place after finishing the book and trilogy.
I unfortunately could understand what Lauren was feeling after she and Mitch struggle the way they are. The feelings of failure and self doubt are deep but at the same time failing to see how your actions also played a part in the current status.
I am so happy with how everything turned out and loved to see where life ended up for everyone.
I have been fortunate enough tobread all of the Trilogy and I’m looking forward to reading more by Ms. Navickas.

This book follows the story of Adam and Cristy. Adam is the bassist for one of the largest rock bands in the world. He has a plethora of women that want him and want even a minute of his time. Cristy is a pop singer that does not do real relationships. Most are ones of convenience that benefit her and the other person.
When Adam’s band asks Cristy to join them on tour a lot happens. Her confidence is alluring and draws him in along with most of the crowds they play for. Adam is steady and helps keep the pace for the band but now this little vixen has started to shake things up.
Can the bad boy rocker catch the eye of the beloved pop star? What happens when you add heat and a long tour? Will past secrets stay hidden or threaten everything for one of them?
Read to find out if they can overcome hurdles or if they are just having fun. This book is steamy so I suggest you have some water to help cool you off.

This was an amazing read and a hard book to put down. Tam did an amazing job at developing the characters throughout the story. I do suggest that you read the other books in the series first but can be read without reading them.
This book follows the story of Olivia, a career-driven and determined woman. She relies on no one but herself and does not need a man. Enter Garrett a ghost from a past that she has tried hard to forget. As the manager of one of the most famous rock bands, Garrett has a lot on his plate. When by some chance they are brought back together a lot happens.
Garett is a man trying to make the band he works for stay relevant. This leads him to the chance of a lifetime. Meeting up with the woman who got away and took a piece of him with her. One thing about managing a rock band from before they were a household name has made him relentless.
What happens when the past comes back to haunt them? Can you forgive someone that destroyed a part of you that you never gave anyone else? What happens when stubborn meets strong-willed and hard-headed? Is he too late and she has found someone new?
Read this book to find out what happens between these two lost loves. Don’t forget to grab a glass of water in case things heat up between the old flames.

Lyle is saved as a young kid by Kyle. However Kyle ends up saving himself at the same time. Neither boy has a good home life and has endured a rough upbringing up until they meet. Immediately they become “brothers” in every since of the word except for being blood.
Now Lyle is at a point in his life where he coming into his own and doesn’t know how to handle these feelings and emotions he is having. This goes on for a number of years until finally he does the unthinkable and breaks Kyles heart.
Their story is about finding themselves, coming into their own and discovering and living their truth. Can they make it? Will Lyle finally give in to what he’s known about himself and quit hiding? Can Kyle move past the deceit and forgive?
I am already looking forward to the rest of this story.

This was a beautifully written book about a second chance at love after heartbreak. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I hadn’t read anything from this author before, but I am very impressed and will be picking up more books from them! I really enjoyed the range of emotions and the depth of each character. You really feel like you get to know both Elle and Blake on their own and can feel the hesitation along with their chemistry. I never felt any lulls in the book and thought every scene pulled me in each time. I highly recommend picking this book up so you can prepare for the next in the series!

I’ll Love You Tomorrow is the third and final installment in the Trading Heartbeats Trilogy. It is finally time for Mitch and Lauren to have their story told, and it is a wonderful second-chance romance complete with twists and turns and a lot of emotions involved.
Lauren and Mitch knew they were meant to be together since they were children, and they made that dream come true many years ago, but now, that love they have always had for one another is in danger of imploding. I felt a compassion for both Mitch and Lauren. I could understand both of their points of view, and I would sometimes become frustrated with them. However, that is a reason I liked the book so much…the emotions! Life happens and sometimes that impacts a marriage, even a good one. I thought the author did a great job of illustrating that.
Each story in this series is different, but this one is unique in the genre as well. Instead of us meeting Mitch and Lauren at the beginning of their relationship, we are meeting them at the possible end of their marriage. I was already emotionally invested in them throughout the first two books, so I was hoping they would be able to find their way back to one another. The love they had for each other was still there; these two just had to find a way to continue their journey. It involved some deep soul-searching and maturing on each of their parts to find their new happiness.
I enjoyed the way the book was written. The writer included the couples from the previous books, and their inclusion really helped the story flow. I highly suggest reading these books in order as I think that will help readers see all the connections more clearly. I loved the epilogue. It really ended the way it should have…with all the couples. Without ruining anything, I can’t wait for Navickas’s next series…it involves someone from this one, and it involves someone I’m really curious about getting to know what makes them tick!

This is an interesting story about a man on a mission to find love and the three women he is interested in. I enjoyed this story because it is based in true life and I found this added an extra level of detail to the story. Although the book is well developed and thought through, I found it to also be quite fast paced, which I hadn’t expected. Overall I think this is a good story. I didn’t fully connect with all the characters but I appreciated how they were interwoven and added to the story. This was an enjoyable read and has piqued my interest enough to read more from this author.

Savage Truth features the alternating views from Riley and Cole. Cole had erased the fight videos that Riley was using to blackmail him with. Cole wanted Raelyn and Riley gone from his life.. sort of. When Lucas told Cole to not get involved with Riley, Riley teamed up with Cassie to devise a plan to take Cole down. Their plan backfired when Riley couldn’t stop her feelings from growing. Cole and Riley became intimate overnight. When Cole couldn’t find Riley at home, he entered the school gym to discover Riley was at a dive practice. Jealousy caused Cole to start a fight with Jarrett. Subsequently, the following school day, Cole began an argument in class. With a warning from the principal, Cole attempted to make Riley jealous by kissing another girl. At lunch, Cole sees Jarrett and Riley together and another fight ensues. They suspended both of them from school.
The past intensified the tension that builds in the story that Raelyn and Riley were running from. I had an idea about Riley’s uncle being a mobster or someone of high influence. Pulling the cons they did and never being caught isn’t something most people are capable of. I didn’t understand why Cole wanted Riley, but couldn’t admit his feelings for her. When he took her virginity, he played it off like it meant nothing. Riley’s reaction was relatable. There are some loose ends that occur in the conclusion, but I am seriously looking forward to reading more of the series.
