This book is book one of the series. KG Fletcher does it again! I couldn’t put it down.

What he doesn’t expect is to run into Robyn. Robyn makes him feel things he hasn’t felt in so long. But he’s scared. It’s been a long time and Robyn put her life on hold. I enjoyed this book! The chemistry between Ted and Robyn was great and going through the story as they tried to overcome the past was a roller coaster ride. I highly recommend!

Devlin: A Forbidden Office Romance was a great enemy to lovers read. Eve and Devlin are coworkers at a toy company. Eve is an independent, hard-working woman who will not let herself be wooed by Devlin’s charm. Devlin has always been attracted to Eve but understood not to mess business with pleasure. That was until he heard she broke up with her long-term boyfriend and saw his chance. Eve is not having that since Devlin is known as the bachelor with no hopes for anything but a physical relationship. What the two of them don’t realize is that the sexual chemistry just couldn’t be denied. Devlin starts to realize he can no longer deny his feelings and can’t believe that Eve made her way into his heart. There is a problem however, Devlin has kept a pretty big secret that could destroy everything, along with the fact that he is going to also be her boss. Can they keep their relationship a “dirty little secret” to save their jobs and their hearts? I always enjoy a good enemy-to-lovers story. Both characters were very enjoyable and engaged in a no-bullshit type of way. The banter and progression of their story were romantic, realistic, and sexy. I thought Eve portrayed a character that was relatable and confident. She didn’t let Devlin in without him knowing what she wanted and didn’t. Devlin also had a way of “handling” her, he was portrayed as a confident, but not narcissistic man which came across the page as very sexy. The ending left me feeling meh. I love that it progressed to where it did, however, I feel we went from one feeling to something way beyond that. I liked that there was an epilogue but I almost wished I found out a little more about where they go.

Ooooooh I love this book! The angst, the spice…so good! Eve and Devlin are constantly bumping heads…they work together…and they’re constantly bickering. But they also can’t stop the sexual tension every time they’re in the same room. Can they keep their distance from one another or will they finally give into temptation?Book had my attention from the very first page and I finished in one sitting. If you love a good tense and angsty read, this is the one! Great characters, great plot, GREAT spice 🌶

I really enjoyed this romantic Suspense story. The author does an amazing job with the characters and the humour and connection between them is great. I loved how they seem to be opposites but both have insecurities and worries about the other person and what they will think. Watching the characters blossom and slowly learn to trust was a beautiful thing.
This a definately a chance romance. When Andy is sitting at a bar and get handed an envelope of cash and a letter for containing instructions to kidnap a woman. Knowing this wasn’t meant for him Andy decides to find the woman and warn her. What follows is a journey as two strangers need to learn how to trust one another while at the same time saving themselves from danger.
However it’s not that simple. Jenna is a strong independent woman who doesn’t trust easily. Everyone she knows is just after her money so when she finds herself falling for a stranger she needs to work out if its really her that he wants or her money.
This is a entertaining story with a kidnap plot that makes you laugh. The twists and turns keep you gripped as Andy and Jenna navigate their situation and budding romance.

Most of us will never know what it’s like to be so wealthy you cannot trust a soul, even your own fiancé. Fate stepped in for Jena one night as her fiancé’s plan to prove his love for her starts to unfold with the wrong man getting a note and envelope. Andrew was comfortable with his routine and life he built but he would never think a girl like Jena would end up in his life. Love proves you don’t have to know someone for very long before you fall for them, even if the circumstances are less than ideal. Romance is a strong theme throughout the book and was written beautifully.

What makes these books so entertaining for me is the way that the steamy chemistry starts off slow. It’s also steamy that you can feel it as you read each word and as it builds more, it makes you excited for the characters and their intensifying adventures or ways to keep them going. This is a sensational read. Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

This story was ok. I believe the premise of the book was decent. Take on forbidden love. Adult student and teacher. Real life Romeo and Juliet reference. However, I found Jim to be a bit pushy. Often times Juliet told him no and he pushed her until he got a yes. Then turn around and claimed he loved her after two weeks of dating. Then gave her an ultimatum about marriage when he couldn’t even be man enough and honest with her about things going on on his life. The on the flip side Juliet wasn’t being honest with him about things going on in her life either and by the end of the story I’m scratching my head like how is this relationship going to work. The story is interesting enough to finish. It’s not awful but it’s not great either.

James and Juliet’s story was a cute one and a big reminder about love in least expected places. Juliet pulls at your heartstrings bc shes already loved and lost yet she still has an open heart to it. James is trying to explore new horizons. Both are parents, professionals, and have experienced a lot within life. There is a lot of push and pull with romance and humor mixed in. Opposites attract in this story and it was a fun read.

I’m at an age where I see a lot of the main characters as my kids and every now and again I stumble on one with a contemporary which was exactly what I got with this book.
Juliet is a little older than me but I could definitely relate to a point about love. I have said that if I were to find myself single I would definitely be cautious about finding someone new.
Jim went through a self discovery phase after he lost his wife and I feel like each experience only made him feel as empty if not emptier than before.
I’m glad I got the opportunity to read this book, hope to read by her in the future.

This was an enjoyable and entertaining age gap romance with a twist on the student, teacher theme. The student is an ex-marine, widower and construction company owner Jim Sanders, and the teacher is Juliet West, an English professor, divorcee, and yoga and gardening hobbyist. Jim is just looking for some culture and Juliet is skeptical that love is real, let alone love at first sight, but then the two meet. I liked the fact that both of the main characters were older than the usual age in romance stories, and that Juliet was older than Jim. I liked both the characters and thought their chemistry came across in the narrative. The duel POV’s worked well in this story and ensured that the reader got to know both characters and their thoughts, which made me feel engaged with them.

This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. A Crossbow Christmas is a fun little read. It seems to hit home for the Covid pandemic. It talks about the loss of family members and friends.
Carina has had her fair share of hurt. She lost her mom, then her sister died in an accident, and her father passed away due to Covid and strokes. When she and her husband get Covid they are hit rough. Then she is told that she needs to get away without her husband. This is a teacher/student romance that’s a bit different from others that I’ve read. Juliet is a 55 year old teacher, and Jim (Jimmy, James – it changes so often) is her 43 year old ex-marine, literature student. I have mixed feelings about this book. I loved that the author wrote about an older couple in my age bracket rather than the usual 20 and 30 somethings we usually get. What I didn’t like is the way that Jim is portrayed as being very unintelligent. This didn’t sit well with me. Also, for someone who is so uneducated, he certainly seems to be able to quote Shakespeare at the drop of a hat after only 1 lesson. It just seemed rather unrealistic. As much as I liked the 2 main characters, I found their relationship quite unbelievable too. I struggled with how Jim was professing undying love so quickly after meeting Juliet. Maybe I’m just a cynical old woman but it just felt rather unbelievable. It’s not all doom and gloom. I did like the characters and there’s some good humour and banter between them which I enjoyed reading.

Mistletoe Memories by Bernadette Marie

When they find out that their designs are being stolen they work together. Hank has lived in the small town for a year. He loves it and can’t see wanting to leave for anything. Then he meets Amity and her sister Anne. He wants to help Amity out in whatever way he can. The quote I chose for Hank is: “I’ve lived here for a year now, and I can honestly say these are mostly good-hearted people. Sure, they talk— and sure, you can call it gossip—but it’s because they care. They care about this town, what goes on in it, and the people who live in it.”
Amity was new to town and never really thought of staying long term. She came out to help her sister out and then was going to get back to her life. Then she meets Hank and finds that she can’t stop thinking of him. Will they make it work? The quote I chose for Amity is: “Neither was I. It’s so ridiculous. I mean, I’m embarrassed that I didn’t see right through him. And the man ruined me. But telling the story… it’s like the plot to a terrible novel: Man runs off with assistant and leaves woman nearly bankrupt, and she must start over against all odds.”
Copper Penny Christmas by Ann Swann
Miranda thought she was going to have all she wanted with her boyfriend. Only to find that he’s been flirting with others. Then she finds that he cheated on her. The quote I chose for Miranda is: “It just so happens my own plans have changed drastically over the past few days. I would love to stop in and check on this little man.”
Wil has been to the clinic where Miranda works at. When the dog he adopted passes away he finds that Miranda may just have a pet for him. He finds that he wants to spend more time with her. The quote I chose for Wil is: “We can’t wait to see you tomorrow.”
Merry Mix-Ups by Emily Bybee
Max is asked out by a friend for a blind date. Then he remembers the stories he’s heard of the girl. Only to find that he was mistaking her for someone else completely. Can he fix the mistake before it’s too late? The quote I chose for Max is: “If there’s one thing Grams and Pop taught me, it’s that it takes selflessness and caring to make a marriage work. I just want you to be sure this is what you want, and not just what Becca wants. No judgement, man. I see the way she looks at you. I know she cares about you. But is she the one you want to be with forever?”
Cassi thinks that her friend and old roommate has told Max about the Swan Princess story. Then at the party she finds out that he thinks she stole his watch. Then she finds out what really happened the night of her waking up on the Swan float. The quote I chose for Cassi is: “Hey, it’s a lot. Most people plan their weddings for a year or more. You just have to be the overachiever and do it in a month.”
Falling For Christmas by Amy L. Gale
Natalie is mad when some new guy thinks he can come in like he owns the town. She’s worked hard to keep her family tree farm going. She isn’t going to go down without a fight. She falls for Gabe and can see why everyone likes him. The quote I chose for Natalie is: “Like what, create a ghost town? Don’t you get it? You’re going to make all of us lose our businesses with your standard fees. You come in here with your flashy car, that doesn’t do so well in the snow by the way, and flaunt your designer clothes like we’re all going to fall all over you. Well, you don’t know this town at all. The car didn’t help you out too much did it? And those good looks don’t work either.”
Gabriel is new to the small town and thinks he’s doing right by the town. When he’s cornered by the entire town he seems to break down. He volunteers to be a judge for a friendly competition. The quote I chose for Gabe is: “I’d love to try Vesuvius. What do you say, Natalie? Do you want to go to dinner Saturday night?”
Christmas Pizzo by Emersyn Kane
Valentina is called to come home when her father has a stroke. When she gets there she finds that her crush and his father are waiting for her. She knows his family, but she doesn’t know her history with his family. The quote I chose for Valentina is: “It’s our parents and our sisters. It’s Misty and Karl. It’s finding happiness with one person who doesn’t judge you for what you’ve done or what you do. You know. That one person that supports you, no matter what. That loves you… no matter what.”
Sal is working for his dad now. When he finds out that Valentina is back in town he will find a way to be with her. He will fight for her if he has to and he does exactly like that. The quote I chose for Sal is: “I know, can we wait until tomorrow to figure it all out? For now, I just want to be with you.”
The Mrs. Clause by S.J. Reisner
Abigail is left an inheritance but she has to be engaged by her thirty-fifth Christmas. She thinks of using her ex Luke to get the money but then decides against it. Then she meets Gary and honestly thought her money was gone. The quote I chose for Abigail is: “No buts. You’ve been in a relationship for five years. My longest relationship was with Luke, and why I stayed for eight months is anyone’s guess. Let’s just drop it. There has to be an easier solution to finding the money for the studio.”
Gary is a painter and does well with it. He meets Abigail and can’t keep her off his mind. Then her ex comes in and shakes him up. He didn’t know about the money and thinks that is why she said yes. The quote I chose for Gary is: “I know this is sudden and you’re welcome to think about it, but I can’t stop thinking about you. Every time we’re together it feels so right, like I’ve known you forever. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed spending time with anyone as much as I’ve enjoyed the time I’ve spent with you.”

Quinnlan only has two days left when he finds a guy bleeding because of a pack of wolf shifters, another paranormal set of beings. Does Quinnlan save him by giving him his blood and choosing him as a mate or does he leave him to die? By giving him the blood also means that Quinnlan has chosen him as a mate, but will he be accepted by this man or rejected? You must read the book to find out! It’s a great short story that was easy to read as the story progressed rapidly and naturally. The characters are relatable and easy to empathize with. Pick it up and go for a spin with the sexy Quinnlan and his mate!

This was a very fun, easy read. That characters were relatable and you could feel their chemistry coming off the pages. I’ve never understood the “Teacher/Student” romance pull but despite the title of this book you could tell there was more meat to the story than just that! I would definitely look into more books by this author!

Quinn wakes stark naked in the middle of nowhere in an abandoned motel with 3 days worth of clothes (no undies! Thanks gods!) A small pile of cash and 3 days to figure it all out. As a Vampire he doesn’t much tolerate the sun and he’s not allowed to manipulate his chosen. I don’t want to ruin surprises but this story line is original, creative, fun, full of secrets and unraveling Mysteries and snarky attitude. I highly reccomend this book a quick read that will keep you entertained to the last page!

I was able to get back on track. The characters were okay. I would have loved to see Phoebe develop into a stronger woman. My favorite part of the story was when she met Kenzo’s family and was hearing about his mom’s family history. I am a sucker for a good teacher/student romance book and had to read this when I saw it! This genre of book is a guilty pleasure of mine and this one was so amazing!! This author wrote such an amazing story with these two characters. I found myself not wanting to clock back in from lunch as I just wanted to continue reading!! Juliet is divorced and wants to be in a relationship but does not want to be heartbroken again, I mean who would want that? And then there is James, who is a sweet guy, who kind of keeps to himself who is in a routine and doesn’t know how to get out. When these two meet sparks fly, and their love story/journey is super original and entertaining. I have added this to my reread selection of books for when I can’t find another one. I cannot wait to read more stories by this wonderful author!!

This was a great 5 star read. This author has quickly become a must read for me. She once again pulled me right in with her writing. I really enjoyed Teddy and Robyn story. There of course are ups and downs and things from the past that cause issues. Teddy lost 5 years of his life for something he didn’t do and Robyn still held him in her heart. Will Teddy and Robyn get what they used to have? Overall I really enjoyed this read. I look forward to reading more from this series. 1-click and get started today.

I enjoyed this story. The story has a wonderful underlying tale with the Rom Com nights. Plus all the movie themed bits snuck in here. The characters are good. The four women have a wonderful story of getting together and being besties through everything. Then enter the men in their lives. Ryan is impulsive and quick to acknowledge his “like” upon meeting Lisa. Neither party was at their “best” upon first meeting which is good. Their tale is filled with best friends, misunderstandings and inner turmoil. They have highs and lows which make the storyline move along at a quick pace. I laughed and even teared up a time or two.
Overall this is a charmingly wonderful tale of friendship and overcoming adversity. I look forward to more in this series.

I enjoyed reading this suspenseful story. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. This is a well written story where two strangers meet and life changes for both of them and not what they expected. A story of bad plans and infatuation that could be deadly. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story. They are creative and have great growth throughout the story. They made the story easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. A story you don’t want to miss. I really enjoyed reading this book. I highly recommend this book and this author

This is a series that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up by this author. This is the fifth book in the series which I highly suggest reading previous books as they are just as great as this one. This is a series that just keeps getting better and better with every installment. This a well written story where the author used details to make the story come to life. The characters pull you in from the start. They are engaging, creative and strong that have great growth throughout. A fast paced vampire story that brings the suspense and steam together into a hard to put down story. I really enjoy this book and this series. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I was so excited to get my hands on another book by this author. Everything she does is so well written and I just can’t put it down. This book is no exception and was just as good as I now expect. This is an incredible MM fantasy story with some of the best characters I have read about this year. I connected instantly with Garrett and Quinnlan. I loved their chemistry and wanted to read more about them. I loved the idea behind this book as well. It was a fresh and unique take on finding a mate, which is a trope that can be fairly overdone. This author has quickly and effortlessly become one of my favourites and I look forward to every book she writes.

KG Fletcher has done it again. She has created a story that is complex and romantic and completely captivating. I was hooked on this story as soon as I started reading and I couldn’t wait to see how the story would develop. I thought the characters were perfect for the story too. They had such complicated histories and the kind of connection that you want to work. As the first book in a new series this is a strong start. It sets the tone for how the rest of the series is likely to go and has got me excited for the other books already. I am looking forward to seeing what is next for the series.

This was fun. Chemistry was there from the beginning, good banter between James and Juliet. I appreciated the older couple romance, you do not see a lot of these.

After Emily’s best friend is stood up at her wedding, they embark on the honeymoon cruise together. Emily immediately sees a hot guy but believes him to be married as the cruise is just for people on their honeymoon. Max, as it turns out, is working as a photographer for the ship. With a little bit of insecurity, Emily shies away from him but she is all Max can think about. Opinion This is a great, laugh out loud book. With all of the adventure of a cruise, the setting is perfect for a romantic comedy. What I loved most about this book is that at the end of each chapter is a mini cliff hanger. I felt compelled to read this book in as few sittings as possible. Be prepared to not be able to put this book down. The way the book ended is a perfect set up for another book in a series. I hope that to be true.

I thoroughly enjoyed this romantic comedy, which had me happily turning the pages and feeling immersed in the story. The heartwarming storyline starts with Ruby being left devastated at the altar, and best friend Emily stepping in to cheer her up by suggesting they take the non refundable honeymoon cruise together. As the cruise is for newlyweds only the best friends pretend to be a married couple, which is fine until Emily meets Max, the ships very hot photographer. Emily doesn’t want to let Ruby down or get then thrown off the cruise but, she also can’t keep her hands to herself around Max. Whilst enjoying the Caribbean Emily needs to find a way of having her fling and supporting her best friend, and maybe she can have the best of both worlds. This fun, lighthearted romance had wonderful characters. I loved the friendship between Emily and Ruby which came across really well in the narrative. The chemistry between Emily and Max sizzled off the page, and the Caribbean setting was brought vividly to life by the descriptive narrative. There were some really emotional moments and some laugh out loud moments, all of which kept me hooked from start to finish.

The Final Bite was a short and easy read with an interesting concept. Quinnlan is given a second chance at “life” with a tough mission. Find his true mate in less than 3 days (in a small town in the middle of nowhere) and if they chose him in return, he can live again. The story progresses fairly quickly as you follow Quinnlan on his “impossible” journey. The story is an MM paranormal romance with a HEA. I wanted to know more about Quinnlan’s back story and his sister’s betrayal. I want to know what happened to Garret’s father when he was taken. I hope the author writes stories about the other chosen second chances too.

Master Catteneo is the fifth book in the Master’s of the Consulate series. This isn’t the first book I’ve read by this author, and it most certainly won’t be the last, especially this specific series. The Master’s of the Consulate, including Master Catteneo, are quick, suspenseful, and absorbing, so easy to get lost in, and they are over long before you want them to end. The events that occur in this book are connected with the other books in the series but not so much that you can’t be comfortable with what’s going on in the one your reading if you haven’t read the previous books in the series. This is definitely a must read for those who enjoy spicy, paranormal romance stories.
