Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 1) by KG Fletcher – Review by Rosanna Ingram

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

After 5 years in prison and a year at a halfway house (for a crime he didn’t commit), Teddy is finally coming home. Getting through each day has been a challenge…but being back home with his family has kept him pushing forward. He still thinks about the woman he let go when he was convicted because why would a woman who wants to be a lawyer be tied down to a convict?!?
Robyn had dreams of graduating law school and becoming a lawyer. But, those dreams were put on hold after she saw the justice system fail and the man she loved was taken away from her. She has tried to move on and be happy…but one look at Teddy when he comes home is enough to remind her that he is her happiness.
They face numerous challenges as they navigate finding what their new relationship looks like…and keeping Teddy out of trouble with his parole. But, when the justice system once again proves to be unfair, can their relationship survive?
This was an interesting story that had some twists that I did not see coming. I enjoyed the characters and watching Teddy make amends with those that he feels he has wronged. I couldn’t quite figure out the way one of the characters was acting as the story was wrapping up…and seeing that he is the main character of the next book made it make more sense. Overall, a good story.

This was a nice short novella to read after a really long day. I was sucked into the plot but would have liked it to be a little longer! I thought the characters were well developed especially in such a short read. Their connection was deep. I look forward to seeing how the series develops.

Faultless Love is the first book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls and is a Second chance Contemporary Romance that once you start reading there’s no putting it down until you’ve finished . Im a huge fan of this author and her style of writing and attention to detail along with fully developed characters make for a wonderfully written story. I pretty much devoured this book in one afternoon I couldn’t make myself stop reading I was totally invested in these characters and I had to know how everything was going to play out . Teddy is fresh out of prison on parole and just wants to go back to his hometown and try to restart his life or should I say try to get back to a new normal. Teddy was wrongfully sent to prison and spent several years in. Now he just wants to get his one year of probation out of the way and be done with it all but things never go has you plan. Then there’s Robyn the girl he left behind and the one whom he never forgot. Their paths cross again but can they get a second chance at a relationship? This had my emotions on high alert and my heart broke for Teddy and Robyn. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. It’s definitely worth the read and one that will be going on the list of re-reads. Im looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

National ParksNational Parks by Laikyn Meng
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Beware: Makes sure to read the trigger warning before starting this book.

National Parks is a new adult second chance contemporary romance story. It is a story that is told across time and many beautiful and wonderous landscapes around the world. It is a story of heartbreak and longing, loneliness and want, heartache and hope. It is a story of survival no matter what the heart wants and where you end up.

A one-night stand, a stranger in a parking lot. Is that all they will ever be?

Phoebe was left heartbroken and is unable to forgive him for breaking it. All she needs is her camera and the world around her.

He is wandering around looking for his place in the world. There is one thing he does know and that is he doesn’t know how to fix things with the love of his life, but he knows they are meant to be together.

National Parks is an enjoyable read written by Laikyn Meng. The characters likeable.

Teddy is sent to prison and now he is out trying to rebuild his life. Even though he was not guilty of the crime, the Judge sent him to prison without a second glance. He never expected to reconnect with Robyn, the girl he never stopped thinking about. The same could be said for Robyn, can these two rekindle what they once had even though they have hurdles in their path?

There is a lot to the story that goes on with Teddy and Robyn. I thought this was well written and filled with emotions. I felt for Teddy, he is a great guy who got a bad rap for something he did not do. Will definitely check out more from this author. What a wonderful beginning to new series.

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher

Teddy, on probation, is heading home to ride out his terms of release. Teddy lost a lot of time, but always dreamed of reconnecting with Robyn, the one his heart belongs to. As soon as Teddy and Robyn reacquaint, we know this is who they are meant to be with. Trouble unfortunately follows these two and we are taken on a journey for redemption for both Teddy and Robyn.

Teddy is such a strong character for all he has been through. The injustice in his sentencing and him being the example set forth by an incredibly flawed judge was written nicely and got me angry a couple of times. The strong pull of the family and the support they offer kept me on the happy side of reading though, so I did go through a few emotions with the story. I liked all the supporting characters and can’t wait to read their futures as this series continues. This book is well written and focuses on Teddy’s character growth and struggles he encounters along his path to full freedom and finding redemption from the love Robyn provides.

The Protector (The Freemasons #4)The Protector by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is book four of the series but can be read as a standalone. I read it before reading any of the others and didn’t feel like I was lost at all. This book does have some darker elements that may be triggering.

Renee experienced incredible trauma now that she’s free, and trying to readjust, it’s not as easy as she would like. No matter what though, Declan, her brother’s best friend, is by her side. At one time, she had hopes of a relationship with Declan but she’s sure that thought has vanished. She’s broken and doesn’t want to bring Declan down with her. Declan will do whatever it takes to protect Renee. He’s had feelings for her for so long and he knows she feels unloveable. He has desires but as long as he’s in Renee’s life, he’s happy and will squash all desires if that means he can stay. What happens when Renee’s past comes knocking?

I enjoyed this book. What an emotional roller coaster. Renee and Declan really connected. Declan is the strong alpha protector and I loved reading about him taking care of Renee. Definitely recommend this book!

Small-town second chances romance. Ted went to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Now he is home and adjusting to his new normal. I absolutely adore this story and in many ways it mirrors my life currently. Teddy told Robyn not to wait on him and she hasn’t but she is drawn to him and he is drawn to her.
This book has many characters and not all of them are on team Teddy. Wonderful story. I love this authors writing and cannot wait to see where we go in book 2

Faultless Love is the first book in The Bennetts of Langston Falls Series by K.G Fletcher. As Ms. Fletcher is on my MUST-READ author list, I have read and LOVED all her books- so I was really excited to get my hands on this new release. As soon as it hit my Kindle, I plunged in- and didn’t come up for air till I’d read every last word. It’s a superb introduction to her fantastic new series.
As expected from Ms. Fletcher, this book comes with an emotional wallop that made my heart ache and go pitter-pat all at the same time. It’s a wonderful, emotional second chances romance that, like all her other books, has plucked at my heartstrings.
With a small-town setting, intense chemistry, steam, family, love, loss, a painful past, worthiness issues, drama, healing, touching & tender moments, wonderful endearing characters, hope, an engaging storyline- this touching second chance contemporary romance proves Ms. Fletcher’s catch-cry that ‘love always wins’…
Bring on ‘Shameless Love’- Book #2…. Can’t wait!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, K.G. Fletcher!

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Selfless Teddy taking the fall for something he didn’t do. An instance of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Faultless Love is a second chance romance, a second chance at life, and a redemption story for our main male character.
The author wrote a wonderful story about a man’s struggles getting through the last 6 years of his life and his new found freedom. Not quite free he’s still on probation, but almost free. Teddy’s growth over his time from when the incident happened and now was written impressively. Being back with his family, making contact with the woman he loves, those are things that kept him going.
Robyn knows he’s home and still feels guilty that he was put away because of her. But she still loves him, and rekindling that romance does take long. Robyn, unlike Teddy, didn’t really grow in the 6 years. It seems the author wrote Robyn in a way where she regressed due to guilt. She had a small bit of growth at the end but you have to read to get there.
I enjoyed this book, a little slow at first for me, but once it picked up I was invested. Everytime I read something old but something new I’m intrigued. Something old meaning the genre, something new meaning the basis of the story itself.
If you enjoy a redemption story, strap in and jump into this roller coaster of a story. The author wrote a wonderful book, and I look forward to checking out others.

The Final Bite is a cute story with an interesting plot. I liked that Quinnlan is not your stereotypical vampire. I also really enjoyed the way the story was told, as if Quinnlan was telling us the story and it was amusing when he talked directly to the reader. The plot was not complex, and things were resolved easily, but that did not take away from my enjoyment of the story.

Finding Bryce (Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII Book 1)

I know the purpose of a quick read is to get engrossed in the book quickly, but I don’t think I have had a story grab me quite as fast as this one did. I am not one to read in the car but I couldn’t not read this book while we were out running errands.

With a quick introduction of the guys on the SEAL Team and then meeting Pippa we are on our way into the story. We learn a lot in a short time and I definitely want more of these guys.

Pippa has been through so much at such a young age, but has finally settled in a new location with no life outside of school and work she goes to a party that changes everything for her.

I was charmed early by the gladiator and his charm did not fade. If I could have met a guy like that in my younger years.

This I author is brand new to me and I really liked that this book is my introduction to her. I will be reading the others in this series, starting with the next two that have been released.

This is book one in the series and it’s off to a great start. I’m immediately drawn to Teddy and his wrongful imprisonment. He’s off to a new start on his family’s farm and rekindles a steamy romance with his first love. This book is about second chances, love and redemption. Fletcher did a wonderful job in creating characters you love and some you hate. Besides the romance, the drama and plot had me turning the page to see what would happen! I look forward to book two and beyond!

Ember's Secret (Solstice Quartet #1)Ember’s Secret by Catherine Peace
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is the first book of the Solstice Quartet series and it is a great introduction to the world.

Ember lost everything years ago when hunters showed up at their tribe and slaughtered and kidnapped all of their people including her own mother. They come from a tribe of swan shifters. Her sister Dia led the hunters away from Ember, their father and their other sister Amy so they could get away. Years later and they still have no idea what happened to Dia which makes them feel the need to hide.

Ember is a chef and owner of a small cafe. She loves to cook. Unfortunately living in a small town not used to ethnic food made her cafe empty most of the time. Due to her father’s paranoia, Ember hasn’t done much to change this until she meets Austin.

Austin is a host of a show that goes to different restaurants and reviews them. After entering Ember’s cafe he is smitten instantly. With her, with her food, her passion and her energy and knows that she deserves more customers in her place of work.

Austin tries to convince her to take part in an episode that will most likely bring clientele in. With her past, she is unsure where to go from here.

There was chemistry between these two from the very beginning. They seemed like soul mates. Instantly they got along and spoke like they’ve known each other for years. There was a strong will they/won’t they between the two while they tried to fight their feelings and dark past. There wasn’t much action but like i said it was a very good introduction to the world as you get to read flashbacks and memories. The world in of itself is unique. It talks of Maori traditions. It was very interesting to read.

I love this book a lot! It’s full of love and it’s so heartwarming! Ted was serving time in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He hasn’t seen the love of his life in YEARS! When he returns home will things pick back up where they left off? The characters are all great! You can’t help but to fall in love with them all! Teds father and siblings are so welcoming and loving and they’re all about family! I love reading books like that! There’s also some drama and it made me so mad with everything that TED had to go through! He’s a good guy and he keeps getting dealt a horrible hand. But he’s strong and he’s keeping his head high! There’s also spice and who doesn’t love that? If i could give this book 10 stars I would! I read this book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. Huge page turner! I’ll be reading more books by KG Fletcher!

Favorite Quote: “God, she deserved so much better – and better was what he had to convince himself he was going to give her when he was finally a free man.”

Synopsis: Leaving the bonfire that night to go on a beer run was the absolute worst decision, changing Ted’s life forever. If only he had stayed at the bonfire, kissing on Robyn, he wouldn’t have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. After serving five years in prison for a crime he did not commit, he is out on parole working for his family business. When Robyn appears for the first time since Ted’s release, sparks begin to fly. Will they be able to rekindle what they had all those years ago?

Reader’s Thoughts: This is my first time reading a book written by K.G. Fletcher. The strong family dynamics, relationships, and friendships built between all the characters in her book Faultless Love had me turning pages as quickly as I could until the very end. Finishing this in one day, I just couldn’t put it down. She told the story seamlessly from beginning to end leaving no detail left untold. Her characters were loveable and relatable. I was rooting for Robyn and Ted the entire way. The secondary characters, mainly Ted’s siblings, made me laugh with their banter. I loved how they all participated in the big surprise for the ending. Fletcher’s writing style roped me in, allowing me to feel as if I was right there with them, emotions and all!

Available now in Paperback and eBook – Can’t wait to get my hands on book #2, The Bennetts of Langston Falls.

Meet the Author: KG Fletcher resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and three sons. She is a hopeless romantic. When she is not on the road singing, she’s probably at home daydreaming about her swoony book boyfriends or arranging a yummy charcuterie board while sipping red wine and listening to Frank Sinatra.

This was a quick but very suspenseful start to the series, and I loved every minute of it! The author somehow captured everything needed for an explosive story in such a short amount of time. I can’t wait to read the second book!

Pippa and Tanner meet at a costume party and hit it off immediately. It gets steamy very quickly, and they leave without knowing the other’s identity as they are both masked. It all seems fine as a one-night stand until Pippa discovers she is pregnant by this mystery gladiator and vows to protect her baby at all costs. Once her ex gets out of prison, he finds and abducts both Pippa and her son. Will Tanner be able to save them both, or will he never get to know his son at all?

There is plenty of romance and action in this book, and I am super excited to see what the author has in store for the next! I highly recommend picking this up. I bet you’ll devour it just like I did!

Goodness me. Honestly, just the first chapter of this novel had me tearing up this morning as I lay awake pondering the world and all the changes surrounding us as of late. Maybe not as emotionally stable as I would like to be if a novel can knock my morning into a flurry of emotions first thing but I loved it. Absolutely, one hundred percent about this author and the way her writing draws you in, having you hold your breath and hoping for the best outcome imaginable. If only I could hire her on to write up the blueprint to my life for the next few months, I know I’d be in good hands.

Theodore and Robyn are, well, just exactly what they need to be. They have their headstrong ways, their ability to weave each other into the best versions of themselves individually and together, and it’s admirable. Love, they say, the real way you’re meant to be loved, matches the love and want and need that lays deep in your own soul, and these two did just that. Honestly, I cannot wait to read more of The Bennetts, and anything else that’s brought to my bedside table with her name on it!

Bernadette continues to impress me with each of her novels, and this is no exception! Choosing this to be my next read was an easy decision, what with loving rom com movies, girls nights and the author herself.

There are so many things about this book that I absolutely love, but the first that comes to mind is how the author threw in references from some popular rom-coms. One thing that I found I didn’t like about the book was that the chapters were very short and I found many of them ending abruptly. Apart from that, the story of Lisa and Ryan had me hooked from the start, and I can’t wait to see what the next book brings!

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 1) by KG Fletcher – Review by Stephanie Chapman

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

After five years of being in prison, Ted Bennett is on his way home to his hoe in Langston Falls. He has one year left on his parole and he intends to stay out of trouble. His parole officer, Ms. Sam McNeil, automatically meets him at the Family Christmas Tree Farm and Winery. She is adament about Ted staying at the farm but only doing the work for the Christmas trees as a condition of his parole.

What did Ted do that made him serve prison time? Robyn Morgan, his high school sweetheart, knows exactly what he didn’t do. She was a law student but quit pursuing her dream when she watched the justice system fail when Ted was sentenced to prison. Now, she works in a flower shop and has a horrible relationship with Anderson. Anderson tries to get her to go for the bar exam and move to Atlanta, but Robyn feels that Langston Falls is her home. Her relationship with Anderson falls into the backdrop when Ted walks into the flower shop. Their love never died.

Ted and Robyn begin spending more time together and prepare for an annual Festival on the Bennett farm. However, Robyn never broke off her relationship with Anderson. Anderson drops in at the festival. Ted is crushed when Robyn leaves with Anderson back to her house. Robyn and Anderson break off their relationship, both admitting there was no love between them.

Later, during the music concert that Ted’s brother Hank performs in, Ms. Kirby approaches Ted and asks to speak to him in private. She tells him about the security video that proves his innocence. Before anything else could be said, Glen Kirby finds his mother and Ted. He tries to instigate a fight only to be held back by Ted’s brother Walt. Robyn enters with Ms. McNeil. Walt lets Glen go and he knocks her out by punching her in the face. Ted hit Glen twice, dropping him to the ground. Then Glen laughs “I’m pressing charges, you just violated your parole murderer!” Violating his parole means Ted will return to prison. What does Ted do now? What about Robyn?

This is a well-written story about how justice isn’t always served in a nice box like many of us would like to think. I found the story relatable in some aspects since I have experienced the court system on both sides as prosecuting and defendant. The label of justice being blind is true; in all ways. Read this story to see if Robyn and Ted can continue their relationship or will everything fall apart if Ted is sent back to prison. The end is unpredictable to say the least.

Faultless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls, #1)Faultless Love by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance, by a favourite author of mine, with a second chance at love theme. Set in a small town, the storyline had me hooked as I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster. Teddy Bennett is a convicted felon who is out on parole for a crime he didn’t commit, and returns to his hometown to start rebuilding his life. Working on his family’s Christmas tree farm and winery, Teddy wishes that he had never gone on the beer run that lead to him being jailed. When he runs into Robyn, their old attraction and sizzling chemistry is still there, and he’s reminded of the fateful night and the party where he was kissing her by the bonfire. If only he had stayed there then his life would have been very different.
Teddy believes that things changed permanently when he was convicted and had to leave Robyn and his freedom behind. However, Robyn never stopped loving or believing in her first love, Teddy and has put her life on hold waiting for him to return. Although the couple are willing to start again, it’s not as easy as picking up where they left off, especially when other people don’t seem to want them to have a second chance at their HEA. I loved Teddy and Robyn, and they were so right for each other and deserved a HEA. Their sizzling chemistry did lead to some rather steamy scenes. Both the characters and small town setting came alive through the descriptive narrative. Set on a Christmas tree farm this heartwarming romance also gave me a festive feeling. A definite five star read!

The justice system is really backwards sometimes and there is good depiction of that here. A good family boy who did the right thing and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I can unfortunately relate and I feel like I am not alone with that. I really love warren as well. All of the scenes in this book were incredible and such a deep story. I especially liked the one on robyn’s land in the lake. I am very much looking forward to shameless love and highly recommend this for reading.

Finding Bryce (Green Brotherhood: SEAL Team XII Book 1)Finding Bryce by Debra Parmley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading this suspenseful romance story. This is a new author for me which I look forward to seeing what is next for them. This is a well written story about protecting your child and the feeling of being trapped with no help in sight. Pippa is a great character. She feels she has nowhere to turn from the position she is in with her abusive ex husband. Will help arrive in time to save her and her child? I enjoyed being pulled into the story by her. She is my favorite of the story for sure. There is great growth of all the characters which made the story easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced story that is hard to put down. The suspense is great and had me coming back for more. This is a great story and I highly recommend it.
