This was a great read! It was very heart warming, and cathartic in a way. The beginning had a bit of a slow start to me, but I’m glad I pushed on and kept reading because this one was really good. I loved the characters and the chemistry between the two main characters, Josh and Mavis. I can’t wait to read more from this author in the future, this is my first read by her!

LOvED this one!! I completely connected with the characters and their stories. Their meet cute was quick and set the tone for their future relationship. They did a lot of skirting around each other and it was fun watching their dance. The story is wonderful. It easily drew my interest and kept it. I read this quickly and I could not wait to see how everything was going to play out.

Overall I enjoyed this one. The author did a good job making me feel like I was at the rodeo with the characters. There is a reference in here that I loved as it aptly describes bronc riding.

Watching a horse and rider during a bronc competition is like watching a dance as they move together.

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Brooke May’s books are always touch and go for me. Some I love and others I could pass on. This one seems to fall into the last category. There just doesn’t seem to be much to keep my interest. The connection between the two characters takes about thirty percent before they have a meet cute. Then another twenty percent until they are actually in each others orbit. There is a lot of info about his life before and meeting the team and she gives us the backstory on playing FB and how she can’t play now but can still be involved in it. I honestly did a lot of skimming and bypassing their inner thoughts. There is not a lot of conflict just a nice wholesome story.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoyed this book. Its a short read but it is action packed. The author does an amazing job with the characters and the story. As a reader I was completely captivated by the story.
This is the story of Captian Ravenna Joyner and Dravos Trax.
Captain Ravenna is a strong independent woman. She’s female in a male dominated Job but she holds her own and proves time and again she is as good as any man. When the ship containing her lover goes missing she joins the team sent out to find out what happened and bring her lover home.
To do this they need the help of a prisoner to search for the ship and crew. The prisoner is a tracker called Dravos.
What Dravos doesn’t realise until its too late is that Ravenna is his fated mate.
When they find the ship and the crew didn’t survive Ravenna and Dravos realised that they need to work together if they have a chance of survival and as the attraction and connection between them grows will Ravenna keep denying the possibility of being Dravos’s fated mate or Will she only give in and realise when it’s too late.

This is a new author for me and so I was excited when a friend recommended this to me. She blew me away. She drew me in from the beginning and I could not put this book down. I loved the romantic love triangle that resulted in twists and turns especially between twin brothers. But the ending was perfect. If you like romantic, steamy love novels then this is a must read for you. This was the first book in this series, and I look forward to seeing where the author takes us in the next book.

I absolutely loved this books and plan on finding more from this author!

The characters came to life in my mind so vividly as I read that I felt myself in the story living the plot. The characters were raised polar opposites, but in any good story opposites attract! The story takes enough twists and turns that my attention was kept the whole time and even though I felt like the story was complete I wanted more!

Tori Foster, the daughter of saddle bronc rider Justin Foster, has one big dream that she has been keeping a secret from her family, including her father. There are only a few friends who know about her big dreams, and plans. Cord King, son of another famous Bronc Rider, but also one of the newest rookies on the rodeo circuit has his eyes on the prize, and wants nothing but to be the best of the best. When Tori decides to debut her bronc riding abilities that she has been practicing in secret, it catches many people off guard, including Cord. Will these two be enemies in and out of the arena? Will they overcome jealousy to help each other out? Will they become a distraction to each other? I was shocked to find that this was the 6th book in this series. I can’t wait to go back and reread the first 5 books, because this book got me hooked!

Loved this book and the dynamic between Raf and Ellie. They begin as friends, both secretly wanting the other but factors such as Raf’s past and Ellie’s brother are standing in their way. But even with the speed bumps, when they finally connect we are given a steamy romance that just keeps getting better. I didn’t realize this was a third book in the series and I loved getting to know the characters of Moon Harbor and will have to read about their stories now. I did enjoy the added suspense the author unraveled but it was a bit of an easy mystery to resolve with little fanfare surrounding it. Great read!

Such a fun book! Pets and romance definitely mix! I knew from the start it was going to be a mess with Hudson and Georgia, but a mess I looked forward to watching. All the ways in which they are connected, whether it was through friends, the pet influencer challenge or just bumping into each other, you could tell there was something between them. It was super sweet to see Hudson kind of fall in love right from the beginning, he couldn’t get Georgia off his mind and even though they were opposites, they definitely attracted. His brother Bryce is a real piece of work and his dad Walker, yikes, but they made for interesting additions to the story. Definite recommendation!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Operation Pinpoint is the first book in an exciting new series, Space Force Rejects, by Landra Graf. It is a sci-fi romance- a space adventure with plenty of action, danger, drama, intrigue, suspense, mystery, alien races, challenges, agendas, politics, violence, love, loss, humor, banter, finding love unexpectedly, and as expected from Ms. Graf, some incredible world building.
I loved Ravenna and Dravos- and even though they were thrust together under uneasy circumstances, they really were perfect for each other. Both what the other needed to heal and become whole again. I really felt for what each of them experienced, and was rooting for them from the beginning. I was completely invested in them and the outcome of their story.
I really can’t wait to continue the series!
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Landra Graf!

This book caused some conflicting emotions. I was not sure which brother Mavis needed to end up with. The story is fantastic. I mean, I get it. Josh had her heart and soul since they were kids but Austin….yeah, still a little conflicted.

Mavis and Josh have had a love, a special connection since they were kids. Throw in Josh’s twin, Austin, and you have the three musketeers. Not that Mavis’ brother or the twins’ sister was ever too far from the three but there was just something different about their connection. After Mavis and Josh started dating in high school, their relationship took that final leap. This was the beginning and nearly the end of everything.

Mavis disappeared one day, leaving everyone behind not knowing why she left. Until months later, Mavis turned up on Austin’s doorstep. She explained everything, why she left and why she was there. That day Mavis and Austin’s relationship changed. A couple of years later, Mavis and Austin had a chance encounter that led to a reunion. Now a decade from when Mavis left, six years since she last saw Austin, Mavis gets a text out of the blue stating that Josh wants her back.

Mavis goes home to reveal some of her secrets in order to rekindle her relationship with Josh. The truth about her and Austin can never come out or Mavis and Austin both risk losing Josh forever. Secrets never stay hidden for long, especially when others have an interest in them coming to light.

I like this story for so many reasons. The characters are real. They are likable. They are flawed but trying to do better. The entire timeline for the story, minus the flashbacks, happens in a few short weeks. I am ready for the next one.

This is not my first book by this author but she still managed to surprise me and I loved it.

Kylee had a life growing up that most people would love to have including Jayson. Great parents and siblings who are all there for one another. Jayson’s childhood was the exact opposite.

After Jayson disappeared after High School he and Kylee reconnect in one of the most unique ways. They have so much heat and it doesn’t go away even after several gaps.

I really enjoyed this book, great way to spend my weekend.

Rock Bottom (Satan’s Devils MC Book #7) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by M Policicchio

I nearly broke my phone listening to this one. I couldn’t believe my ears. I was heartbroken. I didn’t want to think it could truly happen. Rock betraying the Devils. SMH.

Rock is growing uneasy in the stable lifestyle of the new Satan’s Devils. Being a 1%-er MC used to mean something, now it means old ladies, a clean clubhouse, rules and kids. KIDS!!! What happened to danger and excitement? So when the chance to do something different, thrilling, back to what it used to be came up Rock took it. He didn’t know it would lead to new beginnings.

Becca has led a sheltered life. Her parents controlled her every move, from homeschooling, to not letting her talk to the girl next door, to picking her wardrobe, to picking her husband. Becca turned 18 and gained a husband twice her age. The controlling continued until he got sent to jail. He wasn’t going to let her go. He arranged special accommodations for Becca.

When Rock joined the Chaoa Riders, his new task was caring for the chore in the cellar. That chore was feeding the woman chained to the wall, Becca. Rock couldn’t explain it. He was drawn to this woman. Was it her strength, her vulnerability? Rock knew she wouldn’t survive if she didn’t get out of the cellar.

This is another amazing installment of this series. I have not found a bad one out of the bunch. I love these bikers and their old ladies. I got emotionally invested in this one when what Rock did came out and he ran. I love these characters. I love this series. I am 100% a Satan’s Devil for life. If I haven’t already said it, Rock’s story is fabulous, ah-maze-zing, fantastic, phenomenal!!!!

I found this to be a quite fascinating story. Chloe and Amanda meet through their positions at the Museum in Seattle. They are both part of a 3,000 year old prophecy. Through the story, we flash back and forth through time to see how this story develops and goes. It can be a little hard to follow at times but I am a big paranormal fan and loved all the creatures in it: vampires, werewolves… It’s an entertaining story that I enjoyed. I found the characters quite intriguing. The story did engage me from the start. It’s the beginning of the series and I do hope to see more. I want to see where this goes. I recommend it for paranormal lovers out there.

Rock Bottom
Satan’s Devils MC, Book 7

I have yet to be disappointed in anything I have had the pleasure of reading or listening to by this author.

Book 7 is Rock’s story and what a story it was. I am now caught up with the books I missed before discovering this amazing series.

Rock’s story didn’t start out like I expected at all but as we continued on it turned out the way I would have expected for a Satan’s Devils book.

Once again Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister did an amazing job bringing Rock, Becca and everyone else to life. So very excited to continue this series

Rock Bottom (Satan’s Devils MC Book #7) Audiobook by Manda Mellett – Review by Amanda Glaspie

It’s hard not to continue to fall in love with this series. Rock swears he’ll never find himself an old lady and with so many of the Satan’s Devils slowing down, he finds that he is bored. Rebecca was raised not to think and is forced into marriage with an abusive pastor. The two find each other in the most heartbreaking way. Once again, the series touches on very delicate subjects (abuse, sexual harassment) and may be triggering for some but does an excellent job showing how its not ok and will find for those that are victims. This has me falling in love with each character more and more. My heart hurt when members were injured and happy when good things happen. I’m curious what is going to happen. next and wonder what’s going on with mouse. I’m also wondering what they put in that water as their a fertile bunch of bikers.

This suspenseful romance was definitely an interesting one. While I usually like my romances a little more on the romance side this suspenseful romance had me on the edge of my seat. What happens when a moment passes you by? Will you meet that person again? Will it work out for you? Or will you meet again with unforeseen circumstances ? That is exactly what happens here, Kylee and Jayson grew up together, and had mutual crushes on one another. But what happens when they meet later in life and they are on opposite sides of the law? Can these two rekindle their flame and find love in each other? Or will the ups and downs of the law break them? You’ll have to read this suspenseful romance to find out for yourself. This book is full of amazing characters, a great plot and so much more that I couldn’t put it down. So if you’re looking for your next great read, then make sure to run out and find this one today.

Rock Bottom (Satan’s Devils MC Book #7) Audiobook by Manda Mellett

Rock Bottom is the seventh book in the Satan’s Devils MC Series and I truly enjoyed listening to it. The narrators did an outstanding job of bringing the characters to life and keeping your attention to the end. I’m a huge fan of this author and her style of writing and attention to detail is honestly the best of both worlds. Her characters are well developed and relatable to a certain point. Each story gets better and better than the last and sometimes her stories are raw and uncut and honestly that is what I love the most. This is a MC Romance that once you start listening you mine as well cancel everything until you’ve finished. This is a intense at times story about Rock and Becca . He’s been outted and now finds himself joining a new MC but they let him in only because he has information they want. Becca was forced to marry Hawk and she had no clue what she was in for. These two meet under circumstances that aren’t the best. Can he save her? Can he find his place in this world? You guys I highly recommend listening to this book. If you’re a fan of MC /Romance then this is definitely a author you need to check out. I can’t wait to read/listen to more from this Author.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with I Loved You Yesterday because I typically don’t enjoy second chance romance. Something about this book felt different and I’m glad I gave it a go. I have to admit, I really liked all of the characters in the novel with a soft spot for Austin. I felt that Mavis was a strong, likable character and I liked reading about her friendship with Casey as well. What stood out most to me was the internal dialogue sprinkled within the writing and the alternating perspectives. This is definitely a series/author I would love to read more from.

Operation Pinpoint is a wonderfully written Sci-Fi/Romance that is a fast paced short story but once you start reading there’s no putting it down until you’ve finished. This authors style of writing and her attention to detail along with fully developed characters make for a wonderful story. This is a story about Ravenna and Dravos , she’s on a mission to rescue her love no matter the cost and he’s on his on mission which is to find the missing Space Force Vessel. Can these two complete their missions? I don’t want to give away to much so I’ll say this I highly recommend reading this action packed short story to find out what happens next. The Hunter (The Freemasons, #2)The Hunter by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in a series which I’m truly loving right now. I jumped into this right after reading the first book in the series and I can say that I enjoyed this just as much, if not even more than the first one.
Set around 4 best friends who are all in authority positions in the Freemasons in Australia, each book can be read as a standalone. But, as I loved the first book I would recommend you read them all and in order so you don’t give yourself spoilers.
In this book we get the story of Dominic Cacciari, the top dog in the lodge, The Right Worshipful Master and Gemma Hughes, entertainment journalist. We are given a brief interlude to Dominic and Gemma in the first book which made me really eager to read their story and it certainly lived up to my expectations and more.
Dominic and Gemma’s story is an enemies-to-lovers story that is full of drama, intrigue and secrets. Lots of secrets. Will they both be willing to give up their secrets in order to make a life together?
This is a great book which I definitely recommend.

I was more than pulled in with this book, I could not get enough. The characters and the story, were mesmerizing all in their own way,. The more I read, the more I wanted to know more!

I loved this story. The author did a wonderful job of visualizing the story that the story resides in. I liked that this book really built the foundation for the next books to come. You got a good background, as well as the task eat hand, involving the Queen. The info was great, and very mystifying. I found the pace of reading was good, even if it wasn’t action upon suspense, the book drew you in and kept you interested.

Wonderful book. I very much enjoyed the author’s writing style. I could not get enough. I look forward to more in the series. I highly recommend this must read book. series. as well as the author!

I’ve really enjoyed the Antipodes series and the author has maintained the high standards of the entire series in this concluding finale. As with the other books, there’s plenty of sci-fi/dystopian, environmental and mythological themes, which I really enjoyed. But most of all, I was so keen to see where the characters would end up and the ending was satisfying. I’ve really enjoyed going on this journey with these characters and I will miss them. Highly recommend this whole series.

What an emotionally intriguing read. This is the first book by the author |I have read, and it won’t be the last. The story is so well written, and characters are brought to life that I feel that I know them.
In this book
we follow Mavis and Josh’s relationship. Childhood sweethearts, Josh is planning to follow his dream and become a doctor, Mavis not wanting to stop him and get in the way of his career leaves when she realises, she is pregnant.
Through unfortunate circumstances she ends up seeking out Austin (Josh’s brother).
Josh can never know that Austin knows where Mavis is, especially after his divorce from Mavis’s high school nemesis.
Can Josh and Mavis have their happy ever after, what about Austin, does he deserve to be happy with the girl he loves?
As I have said a really well written fast paced book that can easily be read in one sitting is you don’t mind a book hangover.

Ooooh I loved this book from the very first page! Ryker and Wednesday loooove each other but she keeps doubting it. She doesn’t think they should be together because they’re not the same. She’s a mage and he’s a panda shifter. They’re also best friends. This book was great and I enjoyed it!! GREAT characters and I loooove the story. She’s doubtful and he just wants to prove to her that he wants no one BUT her. Super super cute read. The passion the main characters have is phenomenal and I love the writing in this book too. I’ll be checking out more of this authors books!
