This is a sweet romance book with 2 completely loveable characters that worked so well together. Both of them really draw you into the story with their connection. I found it easy to follow their journey and loved watching how they developed.
The Book has quite an easy pace to it. The words seemed to flow naturally and enhanced the story the author was telling. This is an easy book to read and I found it really enjoyable.

Ahhhh. I expected just a love story. This was so much more. As a social worker I loved the focus on mental health, especially focused on a male character. Another favorite of mine was how the couple started out as friends. Things usually start in love stories hot and heavy, but these two characters develop beautiful.

This gave me a bit of Chicago Fire feels. Can’t wait to read more in the series!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Detail is the perfect amount of suspense and romance, not only does Dana captivate you with this suspenseful thriller she also gives sexual tension. This book is a quick read but definitely a page turner.

Jessica is trying everything she can to track down this killer, with the help of her very attractive partner Seth. Right when they were going to confront their attraction for each other Jessica goes missing as well as Seth’s prisoner “the killer”.

I really liked this mixture of the two book genres coming together, more often than not romance and suspense thriller don’t collide like this and I enjoyed it.

Princess of PriasPrincess of Prias by Courtney Davis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a very interesting Sci fi adventure. What I loved is the magic of the story and how the author brings all the worlds to life so that you feel like you are actually experiencing it all first hand.
There is a little romance which is a nice touch but this story is more about action and adventure with a female hero which is nice to read.

The concept of the story was good too. About an orphaned girl, who doesn’t know where she came from all she knows she is doesn’t fit in. And then into adulthood where she works as a midwife but still doesn’t feel like she belongs, that is until the secrets of her true identity begin to unravel and show her a world where she belongs and the people she needs to protect as Princess.

What follows is a great adventure as Ellie trys to find her feet in this strange world while at the same time gaining the trust of her people. Will they welcome her home? Or will there be problems from her own people as well as the dangers already against them?
With the help of Locan they need to fight against aliens, and Elle’s uncle to save her people while also fighting the monsters that live inside of them.

First of all..WOW ! Second of all that was one of the best books I’ve read all year. Third… Kage! Holy Kage. This book had so many twists and turns I didn’t know which way was up. I couldn’t put it down which is why I closed myself in my office to finish it. The story was original and revenge is the name of the game. This was so GOOD!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book, and the story, and the realism of the plot and the characters that it possessed! I could not get enough of it! I was simply swept into this wonderful author’s writing, with strong interest!

I loved this book, and it was realistic if I will say. Not every relationship is perfect. Sometimes you really have to work at it. In this particular book, popularity played a key role. How do you balance living a normal life with the love you adore, when paparazzi and cameras are around everywhere. The story was sweet, with strong character development and its own sweetness! I loved how true the love felt was, and how difficult it was at times to keep going. Excellent witting! Was very enjoyable. Loved it!

Amazing writing by a very talented author! I was very much involved with these lovely characters as I read. I highly do recommend this must read novel, and its not one to pass up! For sure a must read!

Blood & Vengeance (The Casket Girls Book 2) by A.D. Brazeau – Review by Megan Conley

Blood & Vengeance (The Casket Girls #2)Blood & Vengeance by A.D. Brazeau
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the 2nd book in the Casket Girls series by A.D. Brazeau. I definitely recommend reading the series in order to get the most out of all this author has to offer! Brazeau does it again with this wonderfully crafted tale of Greer, who finds herself in the Underworld; Thoren, who finds himself in New Orleans fighting bloodthirsty vampires; Desiree, who finds herself fighting alongside Thoren; and Jaxon, who finds himself fighting the urge to feed on the innocent. I absolutely love the way Brazeau weaves her characters together and she does this spectacularly well in Blood and Vengeance. I also love the way the authors moves her plot along and the twists and turns she throws in along the way.
I also have to give a huge shout out to the person who designed the cover! I am in LOVE with the cover design! It drew me in just like the first one!
I cannot wait for this series to continue! Definitely a series I recommend!

A dark yet beautiful tale. A very twisted and far from the original take on Cinderella. The writing is flawless as is the cast and scenery. This book was absolutely perfectly written. Beware though, this one is not for the faint of heart. It’s beyond steamy, and our main characters definitely like spice with their sex. There are some amazing sex scenes, but they add to the story instead of distracting from it.
A bit of revenge, some rags to riches, and some murder mystery all stirred up to create this masterpiece of storytelling. Buckle up and enjoy the ride, because this one is a page turner you won’t be able to put down.

The Lie That Binds by Amy Argent – Review by Bethany Rollins

The Lie That BindsThe Lie That Binds by Amy Argent
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is my first book by this author and I was hopeful for a little mystery and trying to discover the lie in the blurb we are given. The truth comes way too fast and then I got bored. The overall message to the YA audience this book was written for is a great one. The overall topic(no spoilers!) of the secret and lies of the main character is one that should be discussed more with our youth. I highly liked that this book gave a message and used a subject matter that I don’t read often enough about. However, the path to get to this message was exhausting to my brain. I felt I read the same inner dialogue of each character multiple times throughout the story and it led me to disengage. I’ve read so many great reviews about this author so I will be reading another story soon and hope I can fully appreciate what so many others are saying.

I could not put this gem of a book down! I have loved other works by this gifted author, and this one was no different. I was intrigued and held with a tight grasp as I read, I could not put this one down, it certainly held my interest as I read and I was very much fascinated with the words this book held.

This book gave a lot of steam that was mixed with suspense! I could not have asked for more perfection than what this book gave. It gave that sexy allure as I read as well. The author created very connectable characters that had their own appeal in different ways. Strong characters in the mind and heart as well. They were very realistically written. Very much enjoyed the plot and the BDSSM moments it did have, was very rich and inviting to read as well! Loved this book in more ways than one!

I loved this book, it gave me everything that my desires as I read. I could not put it down! Highly recommend this book, its very much one that is well wroth a read! Do not pass it up!

This book had its own magic, in every form, I felt I was on a mythical ride as I read this book, the author used very well done descriptive words to describe places, and planets, and everything associated with it.

The book was wonderful. The characters were lovely, and I didn’t want to top reading, as I took the journey to each destination, I wanted to know more, and i could not put this book down. Elle and Locan were wonderful characters, defiantly had a lot of development as well. I was very intrigued by them, as well as what I wanted to happen between them. I enjoyed this book, it was very much something new to me, and it offered a lot to the reader, it was impossible not to fall in love with the story!

Wonderful read, and most wonderful writing by the author! I could not put this one down. This is without a doubt, a must read, and I highly recommend this book as well as the book’s wonderful author!

I loved this book for all the words, and the feelings that it contained. I found this story very realistic, and one that was very much enjoyable. I could not put this one down!

Paige and Mark were two of a kind in truth! Paige was someone I admired very much for her character, as well as her growth. She was head strong, and knew what she wanted. Mark was stubborn at times, but a good heart still within. I loved their moments together Fighting what they felt, knowing that sometimes you cant fight what is meant to be. The writing was amazing! I loved this book truly!

Amazing read, and I for sure am recommending it! The author knew how to hold the reader’s interest, and make you want to keep reading. I am very happy I got to follow Paige and Mark’s story!

Blood & Vengeance was a very quick, enjoyable read. When Desiree finds herself in the hands of a vampire wanting redemption, it’s up to her to convince her friend/demon and fellow vampire hunter Theron of his Innocence. In doing so, they find themselves in the cross hairs of an angry witch with one thing on her mind. Capturing this vampire. They must come up with a way to defeat her and ensure that they can live another day. While this is part 2 in The Casket Girl series, it can be read as a standalone.

Oh my goodness, I found this book entertaining and so very romantic. Kiki and Eric are trying to figure out how to make their relationship work. They are dealing with Kiki’s fame. The struggle is real and I found the plot realistic and well-though out. No chunks in it. The characters felt like they could be straight from any small town. They were very easy to relate to. The author dealth with a couple of real life issues in the story which really helped give it that home-town feel. I found my favorite part after the romance was the twist with Louie and a can of whoop ass. There is also redemption in the story for some of the characters. This is a terrific story that gives you all the feelings. I recommend it for all those romance addicts out there. Excellent contemporary romance. It would get more than a 5 star from me if I could give it.

Elle is similar to most orphans. She feels misplaced and has a deep seated curiosity about her birth parents and where she comes from. When the woman who raised her passes away, she finds something that changes her life forever. She comes to find out that she’s actually an alien princess and the bulky hunk of handsome revealing this information is bound to protect her!
Locan is a warrior of the Royal Guard and is very similar to the Hulk when his princess is in danger or enemies are around. It will take everything he and his inner warrior has as well as blessings and guidance from the goddesses in order to fulfill his mission and get the Princess back to their home planet. He only has to make sure he doesn’t frighten or push away the Princess in the meantime.
This book was a super fun read. I fell into the story so easily and really didn’t want to put the book down when I had to. I could definitely read more about Prias if we are ever blessed with another journey.

Paige is on a mission to sign Mark up with her gallery. His painting of a stallion is beautiful. The problem is that he does not want that. He is wealthy and prefers rescuing horses. She thinks she has figured out how to get what she wants. He thinks he knows what he wants. Can these two get it together and realize they have some chemistry? They both have some baggage to bring to a relationship. They seem to be good for each other but will it work. Oh my goodness, I sure did enjoy this romance. They are a little more mature. The relationship seems to take its time. They aren’t the wham bam, thank you, bye type. I loved how they learned to value what each other did. The whole story lays out like a beautiful paining. My favorite part was the description of Mark’s cologne smelling so good that Paige wanted to lick him. That is a new description for me. A lovely story with wonderful characters. Any romance lover would love this.

Undeniable (Central Florida Stories Book 2) by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Dr. Anya Schultz

Undeniable (Central Florida Stories, #2)Undeniable by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Undeniable is a BDSM themed romance between Arley and Kurt (some spoilers). Arley and Kurt grew up as neighbors, but he is five years older and her brother’s best friend, while growing up. After the death of her father, Arley’s brother started to change, becoming more secretive and abusive; Kurt was always there though to soften the blow. They decided after her brother beat her up for the last time, it was time for them to move back to their motherland, Puerto Rico. Next thing you know, fifteen years have gone by and everyone is living their own lives. However, while Arley is living in Tennessee, as a teacher, she is attacked and kidnapped to join a sex traffick ring. Luckily, she is rescued, but has to hide out, which she does in Florida with a childhood friend. Little did she know Kurt, the boy she loved but could never have, was back living in Florida. After all her trauma, she wanted to get back to some resemblance of normal and get a job as a bartender at a BDSM club. Kurt happens to be a part owner of this club and their journey begins. He continues to be her protector as a group of men are trying to find and claim her, but during this protection their attraction grows and he brings her little by little into his world.
While I enjoyed this book I was surprised that there was more plot than BDSM. I really did fall in love with these characters. Arley is a strong, intelligent, curious, submissive woman (and I say that in a positive way). She mentally gets through all the crazy that happens by leaning on others and being open to different possibilities. Kurt, made a great dom in this scenario. He is a retired Marine who is a true protector. He is open with his feelings, doesn’t deal with the bullshit, is patient, and shows his caring side often. Even though, as you read, you can tell and hear the dominance in his “voice”, he knows the boundaries that people are capable of. He made Arley feel safe, loved, protected, and sexy as hell. Their relationship was truly enjoyable to watch as it deepened.

This is a fascinating story. Elle grew up not knowing that she is a princess of another world. When she becomes an adult, she learn s of it after the lady that raised her passes on. Quite entertaining due to the humor between Elle and locan as he tries to adjust to Earth to find her. Their travels back to her world are an adventure of intrigue and thrills. There is a bit of romance scattered throughout. I loved reading about the ladies that escaped in the pods to have their children on Earth. I found the characters well-thought out. They kept you wanting to know more. Elle and Locan had chemistry. You could feel the sparks. Warrior was a bit of a grump. The plot was out of this world (pun intended). An entertaining book that engages you from beginning to end. Fans of strong female character romance and fans of fantasy romance will love this story. A new author to me, I will be looking for more of her books to read.

Excellent!! This book was amazing. The characters were easy to fall in love with and the way the author describes the different planets and their inhabitants is so detailed, it really brought my imagination to life. I loved reading of L and Locan, and I was hoping the whole time that they would be getting together, they seemed perfect for each other. Leda, she really got on my nerves, but I think she came to like the princess in the end, at least that is what I hope. I wish I could have seen something happen to Sor, but the ending was perfection.

While Greer is dealing with things in the underworld, this story focuses on Desiree and Theron. These two are dealing with the vampires still in New Orleans. A new vampire comes along to help, Jaxon. He wants to help rid them of all the bad vampires and learn how to survive without killing. Jaxon also has a witch, called the Mistress, that wants him back no matter the cost. Wow! This story is exciting, intriguing and steamy! Arely is a courageous and strong woman. She just speaks her mind as she thinks about it. Kurt finds himself falling for her. Can this romance survive the challenges she faces? The characters are all butt-kickers. They are strong and not afraid to fight to protect one another. The plot is strong and feels realistic. It felt like there was a twist in there. I loved being so engaged in the story that I couldn’t put it down. I gave the family stink eye if they bothered me. You can feel the emotion in the story. The anger, the happiness, the sadness, the lust, it’s all there…totally recommend this story.

I really enjoyed this romance. Its a very sweet story about 2 people from quite difference lives but with 1 thing in common. Art. The author does an amazing job writing the characters. I especially love Paige. She is a very determined woman who knows what she wants and won’t stop until she gets it. Mark on the other hand isn’t as keen to enter the artistic world and would rather stay on his ranch rescuing horses.

When they meet the attraction between them is instant. However Paige wants to keep things strictly professional. We shall see how long that last.
When Paige turns up to ask Mark to paint for the gallery he is very reluctant. He paints for pleasure not profit but when Paige makes him an offer he can’t refused he gets on with the task.
To help assist him and check on his progress Paige relocates to Montana to be near him and this is where we see the attraction build and the connection grow.
The characters work well together. Both have pasts and history’s which make embarking on this relationship anything but a walk in the park.

Well Seth is a little different to his brothers that have featured in this series so far but that doesn’t mean he’s not a nice guy too! Victoria certainly has more guts than me with her bravado and plotting – I was cringing in anticipation of her being discovered! A sign of a great author creating great characters when you empathise with them like that! Looking forward to book 4!
