I would give this more than 5 stars if I could! From the first word to the very last it is a very well written story with a totally captivating, thoughtfully plotted storyline and amazing characters. This author has such a wonderful descriptive writing style that you are not only so cleverly drawn into the characters lives but also their beautiful surroundings, so much so that you really feel as if you are there right along with them. I definitely am now a huge fan and can’t wait to read more from this fabulous author.

Unabridged is a wonderful love story about a couple renewing their love. While reading I was rooting for them so hard to be together, and as the events unfolded I was ecstatic that it resulted in their love continuing. There are a couple of steamy moments in the book which certainly add a bit of flair! I love the way that the author illustrates the happenings of the book. It didn’t happen all too fast, and the book has levels! I thoroughly enjoyed our main characters and Rat too!

Unabridged was a wonderful 2nd chance romance. I love how you see the character growth between from before this story started to now. Hometown sweethearts that didn’t last. Well they could’ve if Angelina didn’t make a split decision at the time. Angelina works as a journalist at Unabridged magazine. Little does she know her world is about to be rocked. Excited about her new article she walks straight into her boss’s office saying “You’re going to love me.” Never in a million years did she expect to hear, “I did once.” Coming from none other than that love she left behind, Blade Spencer. Blade Spencer the new editor & chief of Unabridged. Just discovered that the one who got away, the one he has been pining for since she left, now works for him. What are the odds? Is this his 2nd chance at happily ever after. Well not without some speed bumps along the way. How will Angelina and Blade handle their unresolved feelings for one another? You will just have to read and find out! If you’re a fan of 2nd chance romances, please check it out. You will not and I mean will not be disappointed.

This was your very cute, very typical romance novel but the author did such a good job of bringing the readers in and making us feel like we knew the characters personally! I do with the geographical facts were checked but this was a nice book that you could sit down and ready without having to think a ton! I could escape the real world and get lost in someone else’s story! I would definitely try another book by this author!

When Angelina made the painful decision to leave Blade to move to Seattle to pursue her career, she convinced herself it was the best decision for all involved. She did her best to leave her past behind her and threw herself into pursuing her career as a journalist. Years later Angelina’s life is on track, her journalism career is going well, and she loves her job working as a journalist at Unabridged magazine. Imagine her surprise when she walks into work one day and her new boss is her ex-boyfriend, Blade Spencer!
Angelina’s past is brought to light and old feelings resurface. Suddenly she is forced to relive her past and make the difficult decision to reveal her true reasons for leaving Blade. Would Angelina finally tell Blade the real reasons she left him with no warning or explanation? What was so horrible that it would make her leave the love of her life? Would Blade be able to forgive her? Could they put the past behind them and move forward?
I loved this book and found it impossible to put down. I read it from cover to cover in one sitting because I had to find out what would become of Angelina and Blade. The author did an amazing job of drawing the reader into the story. The characters of Angelina and Blade were wonderful, and they were easily relatable. I found myself rooting for them to work things out and just put the past behind them. Many times, I just wanted to reach into the book and give Angelina a shake for being so stupid by leaving a man who was so clearly devoted to her. Other times I felt such compassion for her and could understand why she did what she did. This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions for me as I became wrapped up in the lives of Angelina and Blade. I highly recommend this book!

I previously read a mystery by this author, so was completely blown away by how fantastic of a rom com author she is! She wrote as if I was sitting down next to her and she was talking about how she fell in love with someone. I truly felt in both of her books that I was a fly on the wall, experiencing everything along with the main characters.
I wish that the books had been a bit longer but I definitely loved being able to finish the boxset during one weekend, a busy one at that! It was the perfect books to sit down to read and relax at the end of a long day, let out some laughs and cheers for the couple. I can’t wait to read more by the author!

To be quite honest, I am hardly in the mindset to read about the road to someone else’s happily ever after, the journey of my life has been a difficult one to say the least. That being said! I thoroughly enjoyed the escape and thoughts/feeling and positivity that Melodie brought to the table in this box set. It is always a nice reminder that this life is the life you have and to make the most of it and to help those around you learn to appreciate the small things and to do things for themselves to find that silver lining as well. There are always going to be bumps in the road, it’s how you choose to work through said bumps that really matters, and to find someone that balances you out, that’s the real treat in life!
The authors style of writing allowed you to become completely immersed within the pages of these novels and to fall in love over and over again, not only with the characters, but with the world as a whole, and to bring those feelings, happiness, and light filled days back to the real world with you. Pixie was truly a breath of fresh air, Office Guy brought his own set of emotions and feelings with him, being the lovable nerd we all know in our own lives, and the friends and family that surround them are more than anyone could ask for. I would be more than happy to read more by this author and look forward to recommending this read to others looking for a little light. Well done!

Finding Melody and The Wedding Special Boxset by Laura Rossi contains both books in the Melody Boxset. It is a fun romantic comedy with a friends-to-lovers and opposites attract element. Lots of humour as well as touching moments make this a story to remember. Right from the beginning I couldn’t help but like these two characters and found myself wholeheartedly cheering them on the whole way through. What happens when our free-spirited creative hippie meets her crush, Office Guy, who’s more serious and definitely more conventional than Melodie… We move from them meeting and becoming friends, to more, in the first book. Then to meeting their families and all that entails, as wedding bells sound in the distance in the second instalment. Sprinkled with a little angst and drama, this boxset was definitely engaging and entertaining. And being a boxset, there is no wait between books, one flows into the next making it my favourite way to read. I wonder what Ms. Rossi has in store for us next? Happy Reading!

Wow two books for the price of one, and by an amazing author, what is better than that?! These two wholesome romance novels were a super fun read! I love getting box sets as I do not have to hunt for the second or third books in the series. The characters are lovable, and I could not get enough of them! This was not the first set of books that I have read by this author, and it will not be the last!

This was a fun 2nd chance romance. Angelina decides to write something a little different for her job and when she goes to present it to her boss she is shocked. She finds that her old boss has retired and her new boss is someone from her past, someone that she left three years ago without a word. Blade is surprised to see Angelina, this time he refuses to let her go. Will they be able to find the love they once had? What will happen when Blade hears the truth behind why she left?
Overall this was a good read. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. There is a scary twist that has you trying to figure out who it was. I definitely had a dislike for Blade’s mother. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you into this 2nd chance romance. I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today.

Angie & Blade have that soul mate kind of love. The one you’re rooting for and hoping it will work out no matter what! From the very first few pages I was rooting for them. This book was light and easy, and had some funny moments that made me lol. Don’t get me wrong there are still a few bumps in their road,m. However it seemed like overall this was cutesy/ happy ever after story. It was a nice story to take a breather away from my stressful days! This is first book I have read from this author, but I will certainly go in search for more!

Since I found this series later I love that I can now listen to the earlier books and get the stories how some of the members met their old ladies.
This is Dart and Alex’s story and I loved it. From the way they met, to how he figures it out to him claiming her as his. They are not a couple you would have expected to see in an MC but they work so well together.
I knew about Alex from later books but her story is both amazing and heartbreaking at the same time. Anyone with a child or children knows you would do whatever necessary to protect and provide them with what they need.
Sierra Kline and Logan McAllister do a great job bringing Alex and Dart to life as well as the other character. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in this series.

Unabridged is the first book I have read in the Lovestruck series by Melinda De Ross, this is a charming second chance romance with a bit of action thrown in. When Angie left the love of her life, Blade, she thought that she would never see him again. She had convinced herself that she made the right choice for them both but has never let him go, focusing on her career instead. When she finds out that her new boss is none other than the love of her life, Angie doesn’t know what to do, so she runs. Blade has never forgotten her either and is determined to get her back. This is a fun story, I liked the leading couple, enjoyed the twist of the crazy ex, and the other supporting characters. I would read the next book in this series.

5 Stars Finding Melodie and The Wedding Special Boxset by Laura Rossi
Finding Melodie and The Wedding Special is a Romance Boxset that I absolutely loved reading. Boxsets are my favorite because all the books are together and you can read continuous with no waiting on the next book . I pretty much devoured this boxset in one sitting. I love this authors style of writing and her attention to detail and the characters are relatable, fun and easy to fall in love with. This is about Melodie and Isaac . These stories warmed my heart and had me laughing at the same time. Each book in this set is about the different phases of there relationship. I highly recommend reading these two wonderfully written stories. I look forward to reading more from this Author.

This book is all about a second chance at a once in a lifetime love. Angelina and Blade were each other’s first loves. Angie walked away and broke both of their hearts in an attempt to protect him. Fate brings them back together and it seems like they might get a second chance at love. However, things have changed and it won’t be that easy for them. They’re going to have to face some challenges if they want to make it work. This book is full of romance, heat, laughter, and some twists and turns that left me gasping out loud. I highly recommend this book if they’re looking for an amazing romance that will draw you in from the very first page.

Wowww can you imagine showing up for work one day and finding out that your ex is now your boss. I couldn’t I’d probably run away so fast Id leave a dust trail🤣 that’s what happen to Angie and she handled it like a pro but the intense chemistry and passion between her and blade was to strong to ignore and I’m glad. I just wish we saw a little more of their spiciness 😉😉. And can I just say i didn’t think Karen was going to be that crazy😲🤣 but all in all I really enjoyed this story and will definitely look at the other books that Melinda De Ross has to offer 🥰

What a cute and fun stories in this boxset. From the start the intro on how Melodie thinks catches you and you feel like you can become her kindred spirit or close friend. The descriptions of the people she sees around her are wonderful and I wish I could think like that! The two books are about Melodie and Office Guy and their romance. Along the way funny things that happen that make you want to keep reading. The characters make you feel like life can really be fun!

This book (well boxset really) was so cute and sweet! I highly enjoyed reading this. What really caught my eye was the cover, because it really is a gorgeous cover, but the storyline and characters made me stay! The main character, Melodie, was such a quirky and loving character! I wish I could meet her in real life because her character is awesome. I laughed while reading this book and I wanted to cry, it was so beautiful reading their (Melodie’s and Isaac’s) story. I would love to read about these characters again, one day in the future!

What can I say other then this second chance romance really blew me away. With this was a romantic comedy there is plenty of suspense to keep us readers on the edge of our seats. From the adorable cover, to the interesting synopsis, to the amazing characters this book really knocked it out of the park. What will Angelina do when she comes face to face with her nemesis and discovers that he’s her new boss? Will the rekindle their flame? Or will the changes to the magazine turn Angelina’s world upside down? You’ll have to read this amazing second chance romance to find out.

Unabridged (Lovestruck Series Book 2) by Melinda De Ross 4 of 5 Stars An enjoyable and entertaining romantic comedy which kept me happily turning the pages, wanting to know if it had a HEA or not. Although part of a series it can be read as a standalone story. Journalist Angelina, moved to Seattle to pursue her career, but is then surprised to find that the man she left behind, Blade Spencer, is her new editor-in-chief at ‘Unabridged magazine’. Everyone thought Angelina was stupid to leave the rich, handsome Blade, who happened to be in love with her, but she knows that she did it for him, and is determined to keep her secret. Unfortunately, that means that Blade just thinks she left him for selfish reasons, which makes him being her boss difficult. However, she’s not the only one with secrets and Blade has one of his own, which then causes complications for the couple once they realise they are still attracted to one another. This is a fun, lighthearted and witty story with likeable and relatable characters who definitely have chemistry, which leads to some steamy scenes. The storyline has enough drama in it that you can’t help but keep reading to find out whether Angelina and Blade will get their HEA or not.

Finding Melodie and The Wedding Boxset By: Laura Rossi 5 Stars
This boxset contains both books in the series of Melodie and the Office Guy. I absolutely loved these books. They were easy to read with loveable characters that I found myself thinking about long after both stories ended.
Both stories focus on Melodie, who is perhaps one of the most loveable and relatable characters I have ever met. She had a very nontraditional upbringing and has a love of music. She is going to school to be a composer and works as a bartender and busking in London. It is here that she first spots Office Guy. Office Guy is another very lovable and relatable character. We all know someone who has lost themself while trying to be who they think the person they love wants them to be.
Finding Melodie centers around how Office Guy and Melodie meet and become friends. After Office Guy is broken up with, Melodie hatches the most incredible plan to help him get her back. What she doesn’t count on is falling in love with him. The question throughout the story is can she keep helping him try to get his girlfriend back when she knows she is developing feelings for her? Will her feelings ever be reciprocated?
The Wedding is all about the trials and tribulations that Office Guy and Melodie go through as they are finally ready to tell the world that they love one another. Office Guy comes from a very traditional, upper class background while Melodie comes from a family of musicians, who also happen to be hippies. To say Melodie wasn’t welcomed by them would be an understatement.
Laura Rossi truly created a gem in these two books. They were quick reads and they kept me wanting more. I can only hope that she will write more about Office Guy and Melodie in the future.

This is such an easy romance read. I truly enjoyed the pace of the novel and the storyline was fairly believable. The story begins with Angelina. Angelina works at a literary magazine and has come up with a great column. She has written it (and drawn illustrations to go with it) and she is dashing into her boss’ office to show him her next great idea. It is a little edgier than her usual column but she thinks he will approve of her next big idea. As she opens the door she is amazed to see who is in her boss’ office. Her boss has retired and the love of her life, whom she left behind three years ago is standing in his place. Her former lover is now her boss. Angelina’s past catches up to her present very quickly and she must determine how she can move forward. Three years ago, she left Blade with no explanation, searching for a better life for herself to give him the life she thought he deserved. A lot happens in three years, however, is there such a thing as a love that is meant to be? Angelina and Blade must decide how to move past those three years and the pain that both of them feels if they decide to be together now. They also must decide if it is even ethical for them to be together. Blade is in the middle of a messy divorce. It definitely isn’t going to be easy if they decide that they want to be together again. This book was such an easy read. I truly enjoyed reading about Blade and Angelina and seeing how the grapple with the decisions of their past. I also really enjoyed how their families interacted with them. Angelina’s mom was an amazing character and I loved how she ended up having her own side plot of her own. I would definitely love to read a follow up that not only explores Blade and Angelina further, but also has a focus on her mother and her side of things.
