Reunion in the Outback (Welcome to Bunya Junction, #4)Reunion in the Outback by Nicole Flockton

I really enjoyed this second chance romance. It was so nice to read a book where the characters start out in a relationship and have to navigate through that. The complexity and the attention to detail really drew me into the book. I thought it was a sweet and heartwarming story and I really found myself getting behind the characters.
I like how the author brings something different to each book in this series. They all have the same feel but also stand out from the others. I am thoroughly enjoying this series and look forward to what is still to come.

Bottom of the Chains-Prospect (Grimm Wolves MC Series Book)Bottom of the Chains-Prospect by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book 2 of Grimm Wolves MC Series and I loved this story just as much as the first one. The author does an amazing job of involving the reader into the world of the MC club, fully immersing the reader into their lifestyle and the danger they face.

In this story we learn more about Bullet. Bullet is a prospect who we met in the first book. After an attack left him very injured and struggling to recover in the 1st book we now rejoin him and learn more about his road to recovery. We also learn about his past and how he became part of the Grimm Wolves MC Club and of course we find out and meet his love interest. No biker book is complete without a romance however I think Bullet with have his hands full with Clementine (Flame)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I can’t wait to read the next one.

What another great instalment to this series. I absolutely loved this book from the moment I started reading. The characters were so interesting and complex. I found them to be engaging and had such a strong connection. I wanted everything to work out between them, even given everything they had to overcome.
I loved how well the story was written too. I was hooked straight away and could not put it down. This is easily my favourite book of the series so far. I cannot wait to see what is to come next.

This is the third book in this series and what a story it was. The author had me flipping pages so fast because I honestly couldn’t get enough of what I was reading. Rhyann was an amazing lead character, I really loved her. She had such an amazing strength about her and she wasn’t afraid to follow her dreams. Mason was everything I wanted from a leading male character and more. There was just something about him that drew me in and the chemistry between these two was just off the charts. I absolutely loved this story and I would highly recommend it to others! I can’t wait to read more from this author again in the future!

Another hit in this series! The author does a wonderful job weaving another steamy romance in this story with Mason and Rhyann. I was curious how the author would tackle Mason’s story, the playboy that he is, but the story was believable, engaging, and authentic to who he is a person. Rhyann was a lovely addition to the series and loved her character development.

This author continues to slay this series with an engaging writing style and twists and turns in the story to keep the reader intrigued. I love the way the author develops characters and writes reliably wonderful stories! I can’t wait for the next!

Reunion in the Outback (Welcome to Bunya Junction, #4)Reunion in the Outback by Nicole Flockton
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this book we get the story of the 4th, and final, Carruthers sibling, youngest child Yolanda. We really didn’t hear much about Yolanda in the first 3 books until she appeared unexpectedly at the end of book 3.
Yolanda has been living in the city with her husband Michael and 3 year old daughter Jayne. Their marriage is going through a rocky patch so she decides to come home to Bunya Junction to get a break and to re-evaluate her life.
This is different from most other romance books in that the couple are already married. This is the very angsty tale of how Michael follows Yolanda and tries to win her back.
I really did enjoy Michael and Yolanda’s story. It’s very much a story of how a lack of communication can lead to such strife. If only they would talk to each other about how they are truly feeling. Although if they did that, we wouldn’t get this great angsty story to get our teeth stuck into.
I loved that we got to see all 4 couples from this series but I’m now gutted that this series has come to an end. I will definitely read this book (and the rest of the series) again.

Ruthless Heir (Mafia Elite Book 5) by Amy McKinley

5 out of 5 Stars

Let me start with a list of things I love about this book: One, I love the way Nicole has been accepted now that her husband is gone. It is a beautiful thing. Two, I love the way the ‘wives’ accepted Summer. Three, I love how easily Luc accepted and became a part of the family. Four, I love the relationship between Luc and Summer (Lummer???). Five, EVERYTHING!!!! I have been in love with this series (and author) since I read No Way Out. The characters are fun, intelligent, bad ass, strong, funny, and dedicated to family.

Now, what I didn’t like about this book: The length!! That is it. I didn’t want it to end!! I wanted to hang out with the family a little longer.

This author knocks it out of the park again with a stellar addition to the series. I am as hooked now as I was after the first one. Meet me in the warehouse with a saint card, the dagger, and I will swear my allegiance to any one of these families. I am all in until the end.

This is the 3rd book in a great paranormal romance series that I’ve really come to love. I don’t read a lot of paranormal romance but this book/series is leading me to want to read more of it. I have read quite a few of this author’s books now and have enjoyed all of them. I really enjoy her writing style.
In this book, the story flows really well and there is always something happening to keep you gripped to the story and wanting to read more.
We had met Macy and got to know her a bit in the second book, whereas Brandon only played a small part as he was away serving his country. In this book we get their story and it’s a great one. Having met their daughter Miranda in book 2 I thought I wouldn’t like her. Although she’s quite naughty, she’s actually a very loving little girl and she wormed her way into my heart.
I really hope there is much more to come from this series as I really need to know what’s going on with Miles and Alexa: and Roper surely has a story that needs telling.

I adored how this book ties history into romance into mystery! It kept me on the edge of my seat and the more I read the more I couldn’t put it down! True love brings together Tess and Trey, and in turn they begin to uncover a mystery from the past. The perfect writing of Sandra Young allows the reader to feel as if they are living the story, whether it be past or present day, and this is what lures me in. For this to be this author’s debut novel, I can’t wait to see if this book has a sequel!

The Wounded Cowboy Billionaire (Billionaire Hearts Ranch, #1)The Wounded Cowboy Billionaire by Edith Mackenzie
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was such a heartbreaking romance. I felt it was a hard read at times but just because of all the unfairness and loss that Colt had to go through and endure before getting his happy ever after.
The author deals with things such as family loss, accidents and cancer in a way that allows the reader a glimpse of the pain that people go through. Colts reaction to his neice is strong and unusual and some people may think extremely wrong but it was a very honest portrayal of how grief can effect people.
This is a story of hope and keeping the faith of finding love even when life seems to be against you at every turn.
Can Colt overcome his pain and grief and be with Evelyn or will his grief push her away losing his love and his only family?

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This has been one of the most beautiful series I have ever read. They can be read as stand alone. This book is beautiful, heart warming and almost true to life. The challenges Michael and Yolanda face are real and can be heartbreaking if you let them. Some familiar faces pop up in the story and Bunya Junction has become a bit like home. The details in the plot feel like you are there in the Outback with the characters. There are a few twists thrown in. As I mentioned, the issues are real, which make this story so engaging and one that you are involved in from the beginning straight through. I couldn’t put it down. Touched my soul all the way down. I would give it more than a 5 if I could. It’s going on my Best of 2022 list. I highly recommend this book to all who love to read.

Book 3 was truly a feel good romance. This story brings romance, drama, suspense, and the question of the strength of a fated bond. It was vividly told and played across the imagination with great ease, This story brings us to Brandon and Macy. They meet incidentally one night in which they realize they are mates and it turns into a night of passion. After that night they part ways until they are reunited again down the line, and Brandon sees Macy is not alone this time. Its a great story and it will definitely hold your attention until the very end!

Bullet and Clementine….oh I did some swooning with these 2!
Bullet is still coming into himself and feeling down about instances that have taken him to where he is today. He fears letting down the brothers who are the only true family he has known, and Clementine comes at the right time to help build that self confidence in him and them together. Its a gritty story that is just as flirty and fun. They have great chemistry and the background itself ties it all together perfectly.

This is the fourth book in this series which I have enjoyed from the first book in this series. This can be read as a standalone series which I highly suggest doing to help your enhancement of this series and of this author’s writing skills. I enjoyed this romance story about Micheal and Yolanda and their second chance at love. As they separate, Yolanda goes back home with their daughter trying to make a clean break. Michael has something else in mind. What will happen when he shows up determined to put his marriage back together. What will fate have in store for these two? Will they get their second chance at love? I enjoyed these two characters and how they pop off the pages. They took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride that kept me coming back for more. They are relatable and have great chemistry. I also enjoyed their growth throughout the story. They had me wanting them to get back together so they could once again be happy. This is a great story that is fast paced and hard to put down. I highly recommend this book and this author.

(Un)Loved (Mixed Emotions, #1)(Un)Loved by Katy Hunter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ever meet that person you could really see yourself in a relationship with, but it is just horrible timing? For Sophie and Guillaume that certainly seems to be the case. The two fight their attraction while wanting more since they are working together. Needing a break, Sophie travels with Guillaume to his family’s home. Will Sophie find the break she is looking for? Will Sophie and Guillaume act on there feelings toward each other?

This is the first book by Katy Hunter that I have read. While I had a hard time emerging myself into the story in the beginning, that quickly changed and I enjoyed the book. The characters were relatable; there were times you want to laugh with them, cry with them, even shake some sense into them. What more could you ask for? I look forward to reading more by Hunter and would recommend reading this book.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read. We get Diego’s POV in this book.
I was pulled in right from the beginning.

He is dealing with a soon to be ex that is being very complicated. He had been with her quite a few years and thought she would be the one he spent his life with. Trying to move forward his brother keeps trying to get him out of his shell but he’s not that kind of person. He takes on a class when a co-worker goes on maternity, this is where he meets Cassie. There is something about her that pulls him in.

Diego agrees to tutor Cassie and man did I feel for the poor girl when she came to the first session. How embarrassing for her, Diego handled it so well and I loved how supportive he was of her. As they spend more time together sparks start to fly. Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I had some LOL moments as well. You can read this book as a standalone but reading Cassie’s view first gives you better insight into things. If you’re looking for a good second chance romance, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Rylie was beautiful and strong with a good soul. Mason was a single dad and the Alpha of Powder River Pack. He was doing the best with what he was given, and leading his pack with high hopes of finding his eternal mate. Together their story was passion pain, and acceptance with a beautiful HEA. This was a great werewolf story and I am eager for what’s next.

This is one of the cutest romance books that I have read in a while. Clover is a waitress trying to get by, saving herself for her man. Shamrock is a ladies man with a reputation. When these two meet up, the sparks fly. Problem is, she meets him as Patrick. Can she still love him once she learns his nickname? This author did a fantastic job. Fun story. Well-written characters that were totally relatable. They could have been your best friends. I would love to see more like this. Maybe in a Benihana, lol. Please, from a reader eagerly awaiting more? I would definitely give it more than a 5 if I could. Highly recommend.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was thoroughly surprised by this book. It hit me. I’m my feelings and I don’t know how I will recover. This author should definitely be in the angst category. I am just saying I bawled my eyes out.

Grace is sick and tired of her roommates activities. She has a plan and goals for herself that she needs to accomplish. Ian is her neighbor who just happens to be looking for a new roomie. The only thing he requires is a home cooked meal every night. A healthy home cooked meal I should say. Sweet deal if I do say so myself. Especially with all the chemistry they have.

When it’s decided that she will move in with Ian he has secrets that make her curious about who he really is. But Ian also has suspicions of his own. They both have skeletons in the closet.

When the chemistry between them heats up one night those skeletons start to unravel and they both have to decide if the past can be welcomed in the future.

I was so shocked when the twists finally unraveled I cried my eyes out for Grace, for Ian. Everything they went through to get where they are hit you right in the gut.  I will be honest that I started to piece together that they knew each other but I just wasn’t sure how.  Grace is a strong character that you can’t help but cheer on.  She has had a rough go of things that makes you want to wrap her up and never let her out.  But at times I wanted to shake her and help her piece together how they are intertwined.  Now Ian what a man.  He just wants to be connected with Grace again.

This author has a way with words that sucks you into this book.  It plays like a movie in your head and when it’s over you can’t help but feel like your life has no meaning.  I am looking forward to many more books from this author.
