Wow… this is so not your typical rockstar romance but it will literally blow your mind. I was crying and laughing and just all over the place emotionally as I read this book and it was a beautiful mess that I can’t wait to experience again someday soon. I love when a book is so good you want to dive right back in! This right here is one of those you will want to own and do just that with over and over again. I loved Jared. He makes you want to hug and hold him as he struggles to protect his father and his heart all at the same time. I am not going to tell you if he will get his happy ending or if he will make it through because I won’t ruin books for people but I will tell you DO NOT WAIT to buy this sucker and dive right in to find out for yourself. Get yourself something to drink and cozy up and prepare to be enamored with him as he traverses the hardest chapter of his life. We all go through this stage where we become the caretakers of our parents and that is never easy. This author has done a wonderful job of painting a realistic and beautiful picture of what that feels like and looks like and it shows in every word of this novel. Go grab your copy today!

This book was everything I wanted it to be and much much more. I really have always been a believer of witches, or Strega as referenced in this novel, and the history of the power that women carry in families and this book really delves into that and runs with it in such a fun way that the reader gets really carried away. I loved every moment I got to spend with Annie. This story was written so vividly I felt transported right there with her and that was really needed in a dark time for me so I can’t thank the author enough for her wonderful world building skills. I would love to see more stories about the family in the future and even more of Annie.

The success of recipe always depends on the quality of your ingredients, and this small town snowy romance does not disappoint!! Well developed main characters, vibrant imaginings of small town somewhere and just enough background history to give the story realism. Sparks fly and develop into a steamy few scenes that add just enough spice to keep the reader interested! Handsome Italian chef Gio meets sassy pub owner Amber as Christmas gets into full swing, the hardest time of the year for Amber. If you’re looking for a couple to cheer for, look no further. I’ll be looking for more from this author!

Whoa! What a story! Really.. I was blown away! What I love about this is the look behind the rock star. Sure there are band moments but this really is about Jared and his life. I enjoyed how little moments became larger moments and really I just loved Jared and his devotion to Mr C.

The feelings displayed by the characters and also *felt* by the reader are immense. Many times I want to Hoot and Holler for Jared and other times I wanted to put my hand on his shoulder in commiseration. I really felt his joy even if they were happy tears. Cookie is a delight. Feisty, sassy and stands up for herself. I loved her interaction with Mr C. She is someone everyone would love to have on their staff.

I love and enjoy seeing all the guys in the band. They are truly brothers first and band members second. It shows over and over in this story. I love the joking and noodling. Even when Kade laid into one of the other characters…I was like..Yup don’t mess with him!

These stories are so much more that just rock star romance. There is depth behind each of them that makes the reader go through a hoard or emotions. I laughed, cried, felt empathy and was surprised while reading. I easily end up loving all the characters and could see myself rereading this one. I eagerly look forward to Lennox’ story.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“A Cold Creek Christmas” by K.G. Fletcher is a heart-warming holiday romance story. Amber struggles with Christmas, and is just trying to get through the holiday season. She meets Gio, an amazing single dad who loves Christmas! When Amber meets Gio’s young daughter, Talia, she begins to open up to the idea of celebrating Christmas again. This book has amazing character development and was very enjoyable! It is the 5th book in the series, but is the first one that I have read. It can easily be read as a stand-alone novella.

Whatever Tomorrow Brings (Embrace Tomorrow #2)Whatever Tomorrow Brings by Amy Argent
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

“Whatever Tomorrow Brings” by Amy Argent is the second book in the Embrace Tomorrow Duet. After reading the first book, I was so eager to learn what happens next for Will and Tori, as he decides to fight the cancer. While the first book focused more on building their friendship, this one had many heavily detailed romance scenes. This story brought me to tears many times. Will overcame so many trials, both physically and emotionally, and Tori was by his side the entire time. Their relationship is overwhelmingly beautiful!

Then there is Jenny, the nurse who is friends with both Will and Tori. Her job is to read between the lines and give hope when needed. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A festive five-star read. I adore this author, and when I saw a Christmas story, it just made me smile so big. This is steamy but sweet and has some really comedic moments that just made the characters so believable, relatable and human. This was quick paced and such a great story, that once you start it, you won’t be able to stop. This is number five in the Reigning Hearts series, but they can all be read as stand-alone.

Born in Darkness (Mafia Elite, #3)Born in Darkness by Amy McKinley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Born in Darkness is another great book by this author! The book started off a bit slow to me. I was hoping for the instant connection that I felt with the characters in the previous Mafia Elite books. By the 3rd or 4th chapter, I was hooked! Stefano and Emiliana have loved each other since childhood but could not let anyone around them know. These star-crossed lovers endured a lot in their lives from abuse, kidnapping, and death of loved ones but they were always there for each other – as friends. Danger brings them together in this story and their love for each other is sparked.

Embracing Jared (Thrill of the Chase, #3)Embracing Jared by Anna Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is book three of the series and can be read as a standalone. If you want a better understanding of the other characters and their bond, you should read the first two books. I didn’t and wish I would have.

Jared has expectations for his father’s care and when he feels that Madison isn’t meeting those he decides to confront her in person. He doesn’t expect to find his father being well taken care of and even talking! That really is the start of his intrigue with Madison. Madison is so caring and passionate. Jared isn’t perfect and I love that he isn’t portrayed as some rock god.

I really enjoyed these characters. Madison is sweet but she’ll put you in your place quicker than you would think. Jared has his demons and struggles but at the core of him he cares so much about his family. This was such a great book to read!

Sensitive and emotional
This was a very well written contemporary romance that embraces a very sensitive issue in a heartfelt way. The author shows the good, the bad and the ugly side in a very honest way. Even though this is the third book in the series, this is the first book I have read from this author. I didn’t feel lost at all but I am now very curious about the other members of the band. The characters are very easy to relate to. If you love rockstar romances, characters that are real, romance with a little bit of drama and a whole lot of feels, this is the book for you.

Embracing Jared (Thrill of the Chase, #3)Embracing Jared by Anna Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As far as rock star romances go, this is one immaculately written love story. From the first sentence I was ensnared. From the in-depth descriptions and the soul deep emotions that could be felt, I was captivated. A tale of a desperate love and what one person could mean to another. Family meant everything, and not all family are blood. The journey was rugged and rough. Their future hard fought. I felt so much reading their story. These characters possessed such strength and self belief. Determination and decadent loving, this story is firmly entrenched in the memory bank. A fabulously entertaining tale that bewitched and consistently amazed me. 5 stars.

Embracing Jared (Thrill of the Chase, #3)Embracing Jared by Anna Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book pulled at my heartstrings from the very beginning. Jared has been through so much with his bandmates and family. Losing his mom and sister, he only has his father left. He wants the best care for his father who’s health is going downhill. Jared has a speech impediment which made me love him even more for his imperfection. His father’s new caregiver, aka “cookie”, starts off on the wrong foot. Jared picks up and goes for his first visit in a couple months, with the intent to send her packing. At first meeting, she is not what Jared expected and he sees how much she cares for his dad.
This was the third book in the series but can be read as a standalone, I didn’t feel like I had missed anything as this is the first book I have read. Can Jared keep his dad protected? Will Jared and Cookie find their way to each other?

This was a really good book! The writing and storyline were immersive and I easily lost myself in this book. This was interesting because I’ve never read a book about a music star with a stutter, and I really enjoyed that. Madison was sassy which I loved so much. Sassy characters are some of my favorites! This was an amazing read all around emotional to read as well. This series I feel can be read as a standalone, since this is the first book of it I’ve read and I didn’t feel like I missed anything. Holiday Hope (Holiday Express Book 1)Holiday Hope by Shanna Hatfield
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

4.5 stars

A charming and sweet historical western romance story but it is not all sunshine and roses. There are kidnappings, train robberies and plenty of danger as we see mail order brides on hard times trying for a better life. The authors passion for facts shines through in her writing and makes the story more interesting. The story is intriguing and well written. It is an emotional tale filled with tension and anxiety, heartbreak and hope, frustration, and mystery, lies and deceit, and love.
Cora Lee has nothing left to lose or so she thought. Hoping for a better life and someone to love is what she thought she was getting but the lies she found wrecked her. However, fate had something more in store for her.
I look forward to reading the other books in the series.

This book was just simply amazing. This author really knows how to write amazing and realistic characters, and she puts so much heart and soul into them that you really feel all of the emotions that they are going through. This book will take you on a wild emotional ride and I would gladly sit through it again. There were times that u laughed, times that my eyes watered, and times that I bawled my eyes out but still couldn’t stop reading. But I really felt for these characters, for the things they had to go through and just life in general. Full of romance, drama, chemistry, family, and of course several emotions this romance story has everything a romance reader could ask for. While it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading them all as this author is just simply amazing and her characters are superb.

This author started out with a bang with this paranormal vampire romance series, and it just keeps on getting better. The narrative makes it so easy to get lost amongst the pages of this deliciously dark tale. With rogue shifters and witches, vampires and things that go bump in the night, the masters have been betrayed and now they fight for survival in their own world.
The world building and characters make this tale enticing and delightful and takes you to a place where the world is harsh but with it comes a sense of beauty as they fight to protect their mates.
The suspenseful story is fast paced, intense, and hot, hot, hot. Don’t miss out on this wonderful series. I can’t wait for the next book.

This Christmas novella will fill you with hope and cheer, even to those who are a little grinch during the holiday season. Amber, the local pub owner, and Gio, new to town single father, brought some spiciness and heartwarming moments to this sweet holiday story. Every time I read a book by this author, I know that I will enjoy every word she writes. Gio’s daughter Talia might have stolen my heart a few times. Holiday Hope (Holiday Express Book 1) by Shanna Hatfield. I loved this book. It was a great holiday read. I’m looking forward to the next installment in the Holiday Express Book series. This is the story of Cora Lee Schuster who after her parents die answers an ad for a mail order bride. She boards the train to Holiday Oregon and on board she meets another lady heading to the same town as her for the same reason. She is so happy she will have at least one friend when she arrives to this new town. When the train arrives she is met by her future father in law not her groom and she realizes that his father had set it up not her finance. When Jude doesn’t want anything to do with her his brother Jace decides to befriend her. As they spend more and more time together Jace starts to have feelings for Cora and can’t decide what to do. Will Cora and Jace give romance a shot or will Cora be out in the cold again with no one to call family? Read Holiday Hope to find out!

This was a great rock star romance read with a great storyline, great characters and great pace and flow. It was a really enjoyable read. I absolutely adored Jared, he was not at all who I was expecting when I first started the story, the dept of love and care his shows towards his father had me emotional at times. The interaction between him and Madison definitely had that school ground kind of behaviour and I knew that there was something there between them! There was definitely a good deal of angst between them which definitely transpired into chemistry! I really enjoyed reading their story – it was certainly emotional at times!
A great read and one that I highly recommend!

This series just continues to get better and better with each new book this author releases! This book was just amazing – from start to finish I was captivated by Stefano and Emiliana’s story – it was fast paced, dark, romantic, action packed and so much more. I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough trying to find out what was going to happen next there was just so much going on it was very addictive to read. I love mafia and I love forbidden romance bit a forbidden mafia romance tops them all!!
Although this book is part of a series it could be read as a standalone but having read the other books, I would highly recommend reading them in order.

I really liked Amber and Giovanni, both really likeable and relatable characters I felt. I also really loved that real feeling the story had. My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Rowan thought that she was invisible to the dangers outside her clan. When her risk-taking lands her on the wrong side of the tunnel, how will she and her cousin make it out alive? Rowan is a spunky, firecracker who does not really fit the traditional idea of how a princess should behave. When Rowan ends up at the mercy of Lord Theodore she never could imagine the outcome. When her risky behavior lands her in hot water it’s up to the clan leaders to decide her fate but her mouth will be the final sward in her coffin.
I fell in love with this book from the very first page. The author’s ability to captivate their audience and make it feel like you are right there next to Princess Rowan and Lord Theodore. This book ended with such a cliffhanger that I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I could not put Holiday Hope down. It was such an enjoyable read and swept me up into the late 1800s setting. The author did a wonderful job of the description of a small western town and how community, family and friendships were valued among all else in this era. Holiday Hope is a sweet romance between Cora Lee and Jace. Cora Lee is a mail order bride intended to Jude, the brother of Jace. Jude is not an ideal match in many ways but Jace, who claims he is married to his career as a train engineer, begins to feel different upon him meeting and getting know Cora Lee.
