This is such a cute story! Natalina Reis did such a great job at making the characters engaging and relatable. With a little twist here and there, a story that may have started as predicable became original in a cheeky and lovable way! Descriptions were on point and the flow was perfection! Non-traditional protagonist/antagonist situations makes this story even more original and fun to read.

It was captivating and fun to experience. I have really enjoyed the series so far. The characters are awesome together. It was action packed with all the feels of a romance. If you like vampires, werewolves and hell-spawns definitely read this series. CR Robertson really has a way of drawing you into the paranormal fantasy world!

The Sound of Silence Audio Book by Dakota Willink is a gripping and intense story that literally had my pulse racing. For so much of this book I found myself on the edge of my seat. It almost felt like I was right there with Gia and there were times when my heart was in my throat at the thought of what was about to happen. The author has done such an incredible job with this book. It is heartbreaking and uplifting all at the same time. I loved how she used the multiple POV’s to really add depth to the story. For me it made it even better. This book definitely contains triggers so for those that may be sensitive of them I would say read with caution. However I also cannot recommend this book highly enough. It is easily my favourite one by this author and it is also one of the best books that I have listened to or read this year! I am already looking forward to experiencing this one again. An amazing and emotional book I would urge everyone to pick up today!!!

Forbidden Mate (The Shadow Chronicles Book 2) by CR Robertson. This book was amazing. The first book was good too and I would suggest reading it first but this book just blew everything out of the water. Its a fast paced story full of paranormal romance, drama, and vampires. This is the conclusion of Tasha and Levi’s story and it will shock you to the core. Things are more complicated as the battle continues between the Vamps and the Lycans. Castus is still totally obsessed with Tasha and will stop at nothing to have her even though she wants nothing to do with him. This is the telltale sign of whether Tasha and Levi make it and it will keep you flipping pages until you are finished. Tasha is still finding out about her powers and how to use them and of course her relationship with Levi is causing all kinds of destruction. This book is so good and I hope you will all read it.

This is my favorite story by this author. There is drama and action and the characters have real world problems to overcome. This also is a triangle style that I have not read before. That alone made this intriguing on how the author handled this situation.
I really enjoyed these characters and storyline. They made me smile and I easily identified with them. I loved each of their jobs. Levi’s especially is very different and interesting. That is something that makes a book stand out to me. The uniqueness of the characters and plot.
The only thing I felt was iffy in here is the complete turn around of one character. This person is combative, full of their self and showy. I just couldn’t see that type of person showing tears and all of a sudden…nice. Maybe as time goes by..changes could occur…like the epilogue..that fits. I think I looked at all these characters as “real world” and I forgot they are fictional and can do anything. Anyway this is a blip in an otherwise wonderful story.
This is not my first book by this author but I feel it is her best. The story moves along at a good pace and I was drawn Into these lives. This is well rounded and I enjoyed it.

This is the second book in the Her Three Immortals series. This book is giving me book hangover 🤕… in a good way.
Also, if you liked Beauty and the Beast, I truly think this is a GREAT retelling with an Underworld and Alice in Wonderland twist. I didn’t catch on to this until after I finished the book and started thinking about the characters.
The Caterpillar 🐛 The Mirror 🪞 The Shadow 👤 The Clock 🕰 Tower
Venessa has the quirkiest and cutest inner monologue AND she’s SEXXY 🥰
Grey(Hades) has TOTALLY grown on me and has gone from Beast to Man 🥵
Oh and the Evil 👿 Underworld Queen 👑 who has a dark secret
Come on! This is fairytale book 📚 in the making! But with Smutt 😘🍆🙏🏻

When I first picked this book I thought ‘The Don, has to be mafia, download’
Boy was I wrong but in a good way. This book includes, Gods, Demi-gods and if you know more about mythology then I do(and you don’t have to Google during the book) it pulls in real stories and ties in great characters.
⭐️ Raef 🥵 is my favorite right now. ⭐️ Grey(Hades) is ok, he’s more of an alpha-hole in this book but I have a feeling he softens up. ⭐️ Vanessa is the H and I love 🥰 her from the moment she was introduced; such a heart of gold and her family is #1.
I can not tell if this is going to be a RH, which would be fabulous, 🙌🏻 Or a love 💕 triangle.
Either way, I am here for it and I can not wait to keep reading this series.

So Close is the 4th book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. Although part of a series, each book can be read as a stand-alone. I have read the previous book in the series and enjoyed them all so was really excited to read another book in this series. In So Close we get the story of Dahlia and Levi. Dahlia and Levi were best friends as kids but have since become enemies. What’s going to happen when they have to work together on a project? I really enjoyed reading Dahlia and Levi’s story. You are kept waiting quite a while to find out why they became enemies and this kept me gripped to the story. I wanted/needed to know what went wrong to end their friendship. Levi is determined to get Dahlia back as a friend…and more and will do anything to get back into her good books. This makes for a very entertaining read which had me not want to put this book down. Dahlia and Levi are both great characters that you can easily relate to and you can’t help but hope that they get their HEA.

I absolutely enjoyed this book! I was engaged from the beginning and had a hard time putting it down. As a 37 year old woman, there was a lot of relatable ideas to the main character, Ivory. I will say, I am fortunate to not have the confidence demons that she has and I got so frustrated for her trepidation throughout the book.
I liked that the story was light and moved smoothly. The plot kept moving and all of the details were relevant to the story. I would definitely read more books by this author!

Ride For Me (North Shore Crew Book 1) by Vi Summers has romance and suspense. Best of both worlds.
Gage’s life was ripped apart by tragedy in his past. Three years of grief and a refusal to feel had taken their toll. He’s a shell of the guy he used to be, content to be numb and resentful. Gage is pushed into his cousin’s environment in a last-ditch effort to turn his life around. The Crew’s universe. One crew member, out of his depth and reeling, reawakens long-forgotten sentiments. Gage is anxious to keep his emotions hidden. His bond with Lil, on the other hand, is all-consuming. Uncontrollable. One minute it’s scorching hot; The next, it’s freezing cold. Gage thought that lightning doesn’t strike again. But, when it came to losing the woman of his life, he was adamant. It strikes again as Lil’s history rears its ugly head, pushing Gage to face his demons. All while attempting to prevent the painful past from repeating.
I loved this story and the concept of it as well. I loved every page of it. Every chapter was exciting. This is the first book in the series and I can’t wait to read more.

Vampires, lycan, witches, and hellspawn, this book had it all! Vampires and lycan are sworn enemies so how it is possible that Levi and Tasha were able to become mates? Levi will do anything to protect his vampire mate, but will it be enough? The vampires and lycan have formed a truce, but a new enemy is at their door threatening to destroy both species. I loved the twists, turns, and the unexpected that CR Robertson gave in this story. I don’t want to give any surprises away. I loved this book and was disappointed when I came to the end. I want more!

Holy Cow! What an intense yet gut wrenching romantic suspense that will have you turning the pages while on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what is going to happen next. This author never ceases to amaze me, this is my favorite yet. The narrators done a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life and making you feel like you are right there with them. This is an emotional rollercoaster ride that in some parts I had to push stop and take a minute to gather myself then I was right back to listening. This is about Gia she’s a woman who thought she found love with Ethan but she soon found out what you see is definitely not what you get! Ethan is a abusive man . Gia finds the strength and courage to get away. Will she be safe? Can she trust another man? Find out what happens next in this must listen/read. I can’t wait to read/listen to more books by this author.

Repair: An Everyday Heroes World Novel (The Everyday Heroes World) by Trish Williford
I don’t even know where to start when talking about this book. I guess I should start by saying I loved this book. Very beginning we meet Charlie and her older brother Jude and Jude’s best friend Trent who goes by Tank. I have a huge soft spot for guys named Jude since that is my Grandson’s name so I had a good feeling from the start.
Charlie is an angel/hero by working as a nurse. She is great at her job but needs a change. She gets that and then some when she moves home.
Trent grew up with a giant chip on her shoulder due to his childhood and always felt he wasn’t worthy of anything. I understood why he felt the way he did and wish I had the people in my life like Trent had.
I really had a hard time putting this book down to the point that I dropped my kindle on my face a few times trying to read just one more page. I really hope we get stories for both Jude and the other brother Dane.

Turning Wheels: Satan’s Devils MC #1: A Blood Brothers Spinoff, Volume 1
Narrated by Logan McAllister and Sierra Kline
I discovered this series after several books were released. I have had the pleasure of reading several since I found them but haven’t had a chance to go back and read some of the older books due to life. When I saw that this book was released on Audiobook I got so excited and knew I would be listening to it immediately.
When I read I tend to hear the voices in my head as I’m reading. Mr. McAllister and Ms. Kline did a great job in giving those characters I have come to love voices, some different then I imagined but I think they did a better job.
I’m so looking forward to the rest of this great series coming out as audiobooks and listening to each and every one.

Book 2 picks up with Vanessa now being held in the Underworld at Grey’s penthouse. As she becomes accustomed to her new normal and begins to meet a delightful cast of characters we see things with Grey and Vanessa begin to change. This book was full of steam, humor and of course many Gods. The ending of Book 2 paved the way for much anticipation for book 3.

So Close (Love Grows Series Book 4) by Renee Regent is an incredible, emotional, and dramatic novel. While I have read every other book in this series this one was one of my personal favorites. Once again Ms. Regent gives us a terrific plot, fantastic characters, and a romance like non other. Her story is filled with romance, drama, humor, and in reality so many emotions that will tug at your heart strings and make you ugly cry. However, probably one of my favorite things about Ms. Regent and her story is the fact that there is so much emotion in the pages that she’s makes you feel it, and that my friends is the making of a fantastic book.

So Close is the 4th book in Renee Regent’s Love Grows series, but the first one I have read. It is for sure a stand alone book, and worth the read. It sounds like the first book has over lapping characters, so I look forward to reading that next. The story alternates narrators, back and forth between the main 2 characters. Dahlia and Levi were best friends as kids, then had a big falling out. They hadn’t talked in 7 years, and now have to work side by side for a huge project for them both. Things will go really good, or really badly. Both are nervous to have to work together, and Dahlia has a lot on the line. She just got a big promotion at work, and is trying to prove herself. She doesn’t want her personal life’s drama spread at work. And as much as she misses Levi, she holds a major grudge. Can Levi crack through her ice exterior, and get back his best friend and love of his life? Read the book and see!

Once I started “Repair” I could not put it down! My first read by Trish Williford and the way she told this story made me hungry for more! Tank and Charlie’s love story started from childhood as Tank was her brothers best friend. One drunken night leads to a misunderstanding that causes Charlies to leave town , and them to part for 8 years. When Charlie’s life begins to unravel after her fiancée’s betrayal she returns to her hometown and in an essence Tank. From there we experience the love that could have been and the pull between the 2. We get to experience the growth and development of both characters, and the undeniable chemistry that never disappeared. Thank you for this story Ms. Williford! I will be reading it again.

After having read the first book I was hooked on the writings of CR Robertson. The characters that she depicts are so descriptive that I can imagine the things she portrays them doing in her novels. I despise Castus but absolutely love the growth I am seeing in Levi and Tasha. There is absolutely no way I put these down often reading most of the book in one session. For this book we are introduced to a few newer characters and some more twists and turns very characteristic in her writing style I’ve seen so far. With the demon hell spawn still advancing on both sides Tasha and Levi bring the Lycans and Vampires to a delicate standdown as they battle this creature who attacks without reservation. But it is hard to move on from past transgressions. As we explore the conflict between the Lycans and vampires it unlocks many surprises and secrets that everything may not be as black and white as once thought, or as night and day as it was believed. The trials and tribulations that both Levi and Tasha face will leave you hanging on tight as the twists and turns come from every angle. It is hard to describe the book to much without the potential of divulging major spoilers and as an avid reader I can’t do that to you now can I? I will shout this from the rooftops you must read this series, you won’t regret it!

Wow and I do mean Wow! I love finding new authors and with this audio book I was not let down. I was really on the edge of my seat with this one. I really like the fact that there were three narrators. This just added depth and also a fullness to this audio book. I really found the authors style to be gripping and dark which just grabs the listener.
I really felt as though I was part of the drama as it unfolded in this book. The different voices helped to add depth and really highlighted the drama. The characters really came to life and I really enjoyed the feeling and different tones of the narrators. This made this a great listen and I will definitely read and listen to more from this author.

Wow! Forbidden Mate was a phantastic read!! This is the second book in the Shadow Chronicles Series, a series that I highly recommend reading in order for reader enjoyment as this book follows the first one.
This paranormal read is intense, gruesome, steamy, complex and action-packed there’s never a dull moment! This author writes with so much detail that painted a clear picture playing out in my mind which kept me entertained the whole way through.
This is a book I would highly recommend to anyone looking for their next paranormal read!

This is an emotional second chance love story. The author does an amazing job with the characters which means the story I believable and has you gripped from the very beginning.
Gage has suffered a huge trauma when the love of his life passes away. Convinced that he will never love again he resigns himself to a life alone. However a chance meeting of his cousins friend Lil turns his world upside down and sends sparks through his body that he thought he would never feel again. Can he risk his heart again? Can he resist the attraction and chemistry between himself and Lil?
Lil has a past of her own as well and when her past comes calling putting her in danger Gage realises he needs to fight his demons if he wants to protect the woman he loves and stop history repeating itself.
It is a really emotional story and anyone who has dealt with loss will be able to relate with the emotions that Gage goes through and understand his hot and cold attitude and feelings of guilt that he experiences. I can’t wait to read more in this series.

Caught by Him by Tammy Mannersly is a quick insta-love romance book. Brody Bash is a famous actor trying to get a little R and R when he meets Willa Stone in a very funny and unexpected way. The cute banter between the two makes this book a light hearted and easy read. They seem to have great chemistry but there is a little trouble a brewing with Hayden (Willa’s Ex) and Brody’s assistant Carmody. Will their tactics and presence destroy their new found relationship or will they conquer the obstacles and find true love?

Forged by Secrets is the third book in the deadly isles special ops series by Amy McKinley and revolves around the third brother Ty and Malina. Ty and Milene have always had sort of a push and pull relationship in large part due to the secrets from Milene this past. When faced with unpredictable circumstances that come out of nowhere Milene has no choice but to rely on the one man she doesn’t think she could trust. Ty has a secret of his own that involves Milene , One that he holds onto until a special moment. The story is filled with action, love, and crime. They soon realize that in order to resolve what’s truly going on they will have to let down their walls and lean on each other. The author does a great job with her writing style, details, and relationship building. If you enjoy an action filled romance then you’ll definitely enjoy this latest novel.

I loved the main characters in this book, Trent (Tank) and Charlotte (Charlie). The bond between these two is almost palpable. This book deals with so many important issues but in a delicate way. Trent and Charlie both lie to each other at the beginning of the book and now have them dealing with pain, shock, sorrow and heartbreak. Charlie goes back to school to finish her last two months of her Masters degree in Nursing and doesn’t return to Sunnyville until 8 years later. Trust is a hard commodity to gain once it has been broken. This book had some tough issues in it but the author is great at the balance of still providing a pleasurable read. Justin’s birthday was hilarious. This book was extremely relatable on so many levels, I fully enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this short romance story. This is an author I never hesitate to pick up. I have enjoyed her books from the first one I picked up. This is a well written story about what happens when opposites attract. I was pulled into the story from the beginning by the characters. They made the story easy, fun and entertaining to read. They are connectable and truly made the story for me. This is a story about Brody who is a movie actor and Willabelle who has an ex that is determined to destroy things for her. What neither one of these two expected was to meet and fall for each other until her ex decides otherwise. What happens with these two I highly recommend reading this book to find out. Their growth and chemistry throughout the story is great. They made great characters that kept the story engaging. You won’t regret picking this one up today.

I thought this was such an interesting, cute, intriguing, and engaging story. I always like to see if the first line really draws me into a book. That really sets the tone for me. With this story I was not disappointed. From the first line of the book, I was hooked! It was just so good! The rest of the story did not disappoint either, it kept its tone from the very beginning for sure! Natalina Reis is an author to look for in the future. I also loved that the author added a bit of a personal touch at the beginning with a forward, a guide to dating vocabulary and the Mandarin words and phrases used. That was a really nice touch.
