DATING THE INTERN by Natalina Reis – Review by Beverly Finnie

Dating the InternDating the Intern by Natalina Reis
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Natalina Reis writes in a way she has you feeling for her characters. Her novel Dating the Intern appealed to me in ways I enjoyed, but also brought up memories from a painful past. Don’t let that deter you though, just keep in mind it could be a trigger warning that’s all.
Li Qiang is such a sweet and selfless character who would do anything for his boss, Ivory Tower, since he’s been crushing on her for a long time. A character I grew to love and rooted for as I got deeper into the novel.
Ivory on the other hand drove me crazy, but I feel like that was more on a personal level vs how the character was written. I’m Ivory through and through. I may not be a business owner but that’s the kind of abuse I suffered in my past from my father, which makes it hard to accept love today.
Though a novel about a fictional romance, it made me take a deeper look at myself and how I’ve overcome the same obstacles in my life. I know this review sounds really sad & depressing but it’s not meant to be that way. It’s meant to just describe how Natalina’s novel impacted me emotionally. It’s not very often I get that emotionally invested in a work of fiction, but in the end I LOVED IT!!! If a writer can have you connect to their story in such a way you evaluate how you handled things, doesn’t that make them a GREAT writer.
Was the story a trigger for me, slightly but I’m glad I read it then reflected upon my life. If you’re looking for a story to emotionally impact you in such a way you evaluate life, TRUST ME when I say you NEED to read Dating the Intern by Natalina Reis!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

First and foremost, this is the 4th book in the series but, you do not have to read the others to enjoy it. This was my first read by Renee Regent and I enjoyed it! It will also not be my last, it has intrigued me into wanting to read the others in the series. There was also so many emotions that I went through along with the characters. The author does a great job of pulling you in and becoming invested in the characters. This is sometimes hard to do but Renee Regent does a good job with how they present them.

Unbreakable shares the story or Erin and Curtis “Ripper.”
Ripper is a man that feels tainted by his life choices, and trapped with his demons in which he deems himself a man no woman can love. When a night out ends with him being stabbed he ends up at a Free Clinic and meets Erin who is his nurse. Both have pasts they cant ignore, and secrets they cant escape, but an attraction and need for another that they also cant deny. Its a beautiful story about 2 mismatched people that despite all odds were meant to be with an unbreakable love that knows no bounds. Tee Smith wrote a great book.

Repair by Trish Williford is part of K. Bromberg’s Everyday Heroes World. I have read many new-to-me authors because of this world.

Charlie has returned to Sunnyville after a messy break-up with her fiance in Denver. Charlie reconnects with the one person who made her leave their hometown, Tank Easton – your brother’s best friend. Can Tank prove to have changed and can Charlie give him a second chance at her heart?

Great writing by Trish and these characters were enjoyable additions to Sunnyville. I will be checking out other books by Trish Williford.

If anyone knows me, they know I’m a SUCKER for any kind of dark, angst-y, moody, sexy bad boy romance. Especially if they are anything like Ripper! This is my first book from Tee Smith and y’all. 👀. This book is *chefs kiss*. It hits all those sweet spots for me. A heroine with secrets- and a smoking hot bad boy who you KNOW has his own secrets and a past of his own just from his description alone! Was I in love with every aspect of their romance? No! And I’m pretty sure we aren’t supposed to be! I can’t wait for the next one and y’all should check it out too! Onto the next! 💖

So this is the second book in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed the first one so I was ready to head into this one. Ready I was. Forbidden romance always hits a little different for me and I love itttt. Honestly one of my favourite tropes. This book didn’t disappoint, don’t want to say too much because spoilers. Still loved Tasha and Levi and their relationship. If you want a romance between a vampire and wolf then this is the book for you!

Ride For Me (The North Shore Crew Book 1) by Vi Summers – Review by Melody (Karen) Marsh

Ride For Me (North Shore Crew Series, Book 1)Ride For Me by Vi Summers
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ride for Me by Vi Summers was a good book. It was fast paced following the crew while focusing on Gage and Lil. It is very well written and has great detail, however, personally I find this writing style harder to read. I normally look for books with a lot of dialogue AND descriptive detail that make you pause to think of the place. But there are so many people who will love the writing style of this book because it flows really well, honestly this is the style that I read while trying to get back into reading.

Despite not having my preferred style of writing, this story has a beautiful plot! Gage and Lil give us heart attack after heart attack trying to force themselves apart. But they are just so drawn to each other that we keep screaming at them to finally get over themselves! AHH It was a wonderfully thought-out plot making me want to throw my kindle at the wall multiple times!!

I walk into the room and their he is the past that I left behind and did not look back, but I have always had a soft spot for him but will he feel the same way.

Dahlia is living life but when a blast from her past walks in and they have to work together on a project can she be professional or will the anger from her past make it impossible to work, concentrate or even keep her heart in check.

Levi has never really got over her, she was his everything but he let her down and was not there when she needed him the most, what will happen when they have to put their difference behind them and work on this project. Can his heart survive?

I loved this story, it grabbed from the first words this couple is a lovely banter and chemistry which jumps off the page. I thought that the character of Dahlia was such a strong female character that knew who she was and was not willing to comprise her values. The character of Levi was a perfect character to enhance both characters.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I can’t wait to read other books in this series and by this author.

Master Tuscano: Dark Vampire Romance (Masters of the Consulate Book 2) had me hooked from the first sentence. Sylvia Black won me over with the first book in this series and she now has me totally hooked and waiting not so patiently for more.

This book truly has it all…Vampires, Witches, Shifters, Action, Hot Romance, Revenge and plenty of Drama along the way. The love and devotion between Christian and Delilah, their bond and need to love and protect each other is wonderfully written into these characters and shines through even while dealing with so much going on around them.

Caught by Him by Tammy Mannersly – Review by Lorrene Huisman

Caught by HimCaught by Him by Tammy Mannersly
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was such a sweet story of two people whom never planned to fall in love, or well meet and most certainly did. The chemistry more than sizzled, and when they were together it was as if it was truly meant to be, even if neither of them knew it right away.

Brody meets Willabelle one night thinking she is a intruder. After the whole mess got solved they found well there may be more attraction under the skin than meets the eye at first glance. They begin thru their times together that this could possibly be the real thing Were their hearts caught in more than just an mutual attraction? To be together, would not be easy From the lives or the drama they came from, or the heart ache even. They would have to work through and really fight for what they have going. The question is though would they stay together despite even if the odds are against them?

The story was so sweet and a lot of heart. Falling in love with Willabelle and Brody was so easy to do. They both were likeable characters even if one was basically the girl next door, and the other was the town bad boy. Both brought a lot of chemistry and I was hoping for a happy ending for them both!

The author bought two beautiful souls for a quick but but full happy feelings love story. I really felt a bond with the characters, and it was a nice read I would say. I really enjoyed the author’s writing. I read through quickly, as I wanted to see how the turn of events would affect everything and everyone. I enjoyed this book very much and look forward to read more by this author in the future!

This is a charming fake boyfriend romance that of course has a happy ending. Ms. Reis weaves a wonderful story about a dating service and how Ivy gets selected by a TV station to promote it.
Having been put down and insulted by her Father her entire life, Ivy has self-esteem issues and finds compliments hard to accept and believe. Li Qiang is one of 3 kids and has found himself in love with Ivy. The difficult part is that he is an Intern and she owns the company.
This book is sweet and endearing.

Dating the Intern by Natalina Reis is a romantic comedy for people of all ages that will make you laugh, cry, and believe in love all over again.

It takes some guts to run from nightmarish things that are in your life and that’s exactly what Gianna does. She was brave & strong & she was the reason that I liked this story so much!

The God was a really good read. It was enthralling and kept me interested throughout the whole book. I have one complaint though. The sex scenes. I don’t understand how someone has transcend realms and have dream sex like that. That was very weird to me. But besides that strange occurrence throughout I really enjoyed this novel! And I think my favorite character so far in this book was Gorgonita. She was so awesome and I thought hilarious as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this sequel and can’t wait to read the next!

Forbidden Mate is the second book in The Shadow Chronicles series by C.R. Robertson and impresses just as much if not more than the first! Robertson continues to develop the characters personalities as they continue the fight against the mysterious creature targeting both Lycans and Vampires. They also are in the ultimate fight to save their relationship, which causes bad blood between the Lycans and the Vampires. The thing I both hated and loved the most was seeing the storyline between Tasha and Levi wrap up, because I had grown very fond of the two characters. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in the series, there are a lot of unanswered questions I am curious to see answers to!
