This book is so much more than just a forbidden romance, the plot is so unexpected. There is so much happening it is very detailed. Zoe is a great character and when she falls for a new sexy man she deserves happiness but it turns out he is her drama teacher and not only that, news about her missing boyfriends disappearence comes to light. But that ending.. I can’t believe it!!! I’m so emotional after finishing this. Can’t wait for the next book.

Love by Design is the second book in the Meraki series by Effie Kammenou. I have really loved both books in this series, I really enjoy how the author builds the characters and how they are so in tune with their heritage, I now really want to visit Athens! Also, the added recipes are a great touch. This story follows Mia in her new career as Associate Art Director at a new up and coming magazine. After having met Nicolas for the first time (or so she thought) at an event she was involved with she is delighted when she is hired in his new company, until she gets to know him. This was a sweet and fun novel with lovable characters and a sweet back story. I liked the use of flashbacks to show more about Mia’s grandfather’s history and hope that his story finally gets some closure in the next book.

This quirky and fun read was just a great addition to a lazy afternoon. I really enjoyed the pacing and the flow of the story. I tend to be easily drawn to stories that involve music and this was the story my heart needed to just enjoy the afternoon. Very enjoyable.

Hello! Can we say steam of the year?! The Inheritance by India Kells, was phenomenal- from both of the mysterious & illusive characters, to the authentic relatable situation-ships. I got the privilege to listen to this book and the narration was also amazing. The relationship between Lani & Mr. Langdon is HOT, refreshing, compassionate. And come on – you want to tell me after reading this you don’t want more of them?! I need more!! I believe this story might be considered a “short story” but there is nothing lacking in content wise! I enjoyed every moment of this – more than likely will be re-reading.

Relentless is the 4th book in the amazing Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. I have become a huge fan of Via Mari over the last couple of years and I absolutely love the Billionaire Bodyguards series. Relentless takes place at the same time as the previous book Auctioned and there is a bit of overlap with the events that take place. It is as fact paced and gripping as Auctioned was. I think this is my favourite series of Via Mari that I have read so far and the only series I haven’t read yet is the Prestian series. We met Layla in Auctioned as she tried to help Bryanna. This time it’s Layla’s turned to be ‘rescued’ by Dereck. I really loved Layla and Dereck’s story. It is most certainly not a love at first sight story as Layla pretty much hated Dereck and did everything possible to get him out of her life. Many of their earlier exchanges are extremely funny as she continually puts him down. He just doesn’t know how to deal with a female that doesn’t fall at his feet. This book is filled with drama, intrigue, suspense and, as expected with Via Mari, some pretty hot sexy times that you may need a fan to cool off. I really can’t wait to read more of this series and I’m so glad that I already have the next book Elusive waiting on my kindle for me to dive into.

This is a lovely little holiday tale. The story is fun, flirty and has wonderful characters. The two MC both are uneasy about relationships and love. Both are successful and have an instant connection. I enjoyed the secondary characters almost as much as the main. Jesse and Peter are wonderful friends to Hannah. They bring a lot to the table for her. Jiles and even Col (who was a surprise) are great guys on Kyles side and helpful as well as kind.
Overall I enjoyed reading this. The characters are a dream. All easy to love and care for. The story is a nice light hearted read.

Relentless was a powerful and riveting story. I absolutely fell right into Dereck and Layla’s world form the first page. It was sexy and seductive. It had all the good stuff. I have become an avid fan of Via Mari as an author, and admire the talent and obvious work that goes into each character and each story. The attention grabbing plot explosions are always exciting and enthralling. Dereck oozes magnetism and Layla is his perfectly imperfect match. Sometimes, as a series grows in size, it tends to lose the wow factor of previous stories. That is not the case with the Billionaire Bodyguard series. Each book in the series offers original characters and imaginative and creative storylines. . Not many authors can pull it off so cleverly. Via Mari can. And I am so happy about that. 5 stars.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I enjoyed that it was set in the country music world as I haven’t read too many books like that. Quinn and Tucker were fun to read and to follow their development. I can’t wait to read more!

Date Night by K. M. Lowe is a great story, especially if, like me, you love a romantic story.
Getting dumped on Valentine’s day is brutal, no wonder Hannah is a tad cynical and not exactly looking forward to it coming around again. In fact, she’s pretty much given up on the whole love thing altogether. Kyle is cynical about love too, he’s had bad experiences and is avoiding relationships. But when the two finally meet after working together remotely, sparks fly and the chemistry is hard to deny for both of them.
Date night is a sweet romance, I found it easy to read and the pages just kept on turning so it was over far too soon. I really enjoyed the author’s style of writing and will lookout for more books from them in the future.

I NEED BOOK TWO!!! This was a great mystery romance. I really enjoyed it and the characters. Grant and Jordan are great, and I loved following their relationship. Their dynamic was so great and real. The mystery situation was really intriguing, and the suspense was killing me on every single page. I highly recommend and cannot wait to read the next installment!
Love by Design is the second book in the series…and I was definitely looking forward to it after reading the first book.
Mia (who is the sister of Kally, the main character of Love is What You Bake of It) has just landed her dream job for the magazine Opul. Opul is owned by the very handsome Nicholas and his sister Penelope. While Mia and Nicholas have immediate chemistry, they also have an immediate (and unexplainable at the time) animosity towards each other. They seem to push each other’s buttons whenever they are in the same room. When they are sent to Greece on assignment for the magazine, sparks fly…and not always the good ones!
I enjoyed both Mia and Nicholas’ characters. Mia is the type of girl to wear her heart on her sleeve while Nicholas is the type to protect his heart at all costs. They are both keeping secrets that define the way they are acting and watching the characters accept and overcome their own obstacles made for a wonderful story. There are moments that made me tear up, moments that made me want to knock some sense into them, and some moments that made me swoon.
Once again, Effie Kammenou has written a book that is easy to read and the book seems like such a quick read because you don’t want to put it down. The Andarakis family, like in the previous book, plays a big part in the story. I just love all of them. The mystery surrounding their family just continues to weave it’s way through the story which intrigues me. I am definitely looking forward to the next book!

Oh wow great story. The love between Tucker and Quinn is undeniable. The flirting and sass between Tucker and Quinn I loved. The stories of their past….wow….very real and just gut wrenching. Queen of my Heart is the first installment in author Nikki Lynn Barrett’s Life Won’t Wait series. It is a Contemporary Romance, and I found it to be delightful. This is the first book I’ve picked up by this author, but I know it will by no means be the last. The author has a wonderful way of threading together the character’s lives along with meaningful, real-life situations that make this book a page-turner. I was engrossed from the very beginning with Quinn Winters and Tucker McGinnis. Quinn is an actress who is making the career shift to the country music stage. Tucker is already the King of Country who has lost his zest for the music. When the two get together, will they become the next King and Queen of Country? Will they make sweet music together? I had to find out for myself, and those pages kept turning. I love a good story that has a lot going on to keep me interested, and this definitely is one of those stories. I am looking forward to book 2! 5 out of 5 stars!

Queen of My Heart by Nikki Lynn Barrett is the first book in the Life Won’t Wait series. This is a sweet contemporary romance featuring the characters Quinn Winters and Tucker McGinnis. Set in Nashville, the story focuses on Quinn, a former actress, wanting to start over as a country singer. Tucker, a reality singing show winner, needs a muse. The two meet and Tucker offers to help her through all the obstacles in the singing world. I enjoyed these characters and enjoyed the emerging romance as they worked together. Also, there are some obstacles they have to overcome. Music City is a great setting and gives a different flavor to New York or L.A. and lends itself as a background character. I enjoyed the characters and appreciated Quinn starting her career over to follow her dreams. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in this series.

While I love reading this authors novels, this one was hard for me to get into. I liked that it had suspense but the story line just wasn’t me. This novel takes fantasy to a new level. This book combines a world of sexual fetishes, pornography, terrorism, royalty, secret agents, human animals, and romance. I love Seelie Kay novels but this one may yet grow on me if I read it a second time.

I really enjoyed this book. Adeline is such a strong and independent woman. I loved her career drive to succeed. Definitely has a head on her shoulders and doesn’t take any guff. I very much enjoyed this book and would definitely read it again! I adored the relatability of the familial relationships and empathized with the real life struggles that were happening. The relationship building was extremely realistic and made me wish for a love like theirs. All of the songs were extremely well written and made me want to look them up so I could hear the melody and harmonies. Music is such an amazing way to say the words you sometimes don’t have the words for in normal conversation, and I love that she used that as a platform for communication within the story as well.

WOW what a rollercoaster ride…. the push and pull between these two was off the charts, chemistry out of this world. I can’t believe how much Amy McKinley was able to put into only 158 pages. She put a jampacked story into a Novella. The character development is superb and the storyline great. This was my first read by this Author but I’m definitely going back for more

Relentless by Via Mari a four-star read that won’t allow you to give up. This is number four in the Billionaire Bodyguard series and its best to read them in order to get the most out of the series, as they do build and develop the characters and the overall stories, they could be read as stand-alone as they do focus on a main couple, but I have loved them as a series. Date Night by K.M. Lowe a four-star read that will keep you warm at night. This was a good story, but I have read others by this author and they were better. I adored the characters, they kept me reading, as they didn’t have the best story to keep me hooked, but themselves were funny and had great timing. More detail would have made this a better overall story, but I am picky, I like getting to know where the characters are as much as themselves. I really enjoyed this selection of stories. All of them are based around a myth or legend with a romantic twist. Each author does an amazing job of bringing their stories and characters to life and fully immersing the reader into their story.
One of my favourites has to be Dragon’s Heart by Carrie Austin Malone. I loved the fast pace in this story and it contains dragon shifters which I love reading about.
When Mary starts getting dreams of dragons and a very handsome man she assumes that it’s just dreams. What she does realise it that its her mate Geraint connecting to her through their bond. As time passes Mary feels the body stronger. When something happens to Geraint she knows she’s the only one who can help him. Will she be able to save him in time? Will he be everything she dreamed off? Or will reality be so much better than the dream?
