I loved all the different feelings that Love by Design (The Meraki Series Book 2) by Effie Kammenou was able to make me feel. I got a little bit of all my favorite genres. Mia was one of my favorite female reads in a while. There is a wonderful level of detail. It felt like watching scenes in a movie. I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

I absolutely love paranormal romance books! And this 4th book in the series does not disappoint. You don’t have to read them in order but I highly recommend it so you can get all of the characters stories. My heart broke at some parts in this book as it felt close to home. You just want to sweep Jaru and Lark into your arms and protect them as if they are yours. I can definitely relate to some of the self doubt and questioning of yourself as Jaru does. This is such an amazing series!

I’ve read all 4 books in this series in order, and I highly recommend doing that so you can know the characters the way you’re supposed to. This book is Lark and Jaru’s story. I have to admit, I was really shocked when they got their own book, I had thought they were just background characters. Boy was I wrong. They are such amazing characters and I ended up loving this book just as much as I loved the others. This one has a bit more of a “dark” presence to it, so if BDSM and thruples aren’t for you, just be advised it is here. However it’s done so respectfully and tastefully that it’s barely even a thing. I love everything of Naomi Valkyrie’s I’ve read and can’t wait for book 5!

The Earl and the Peahen by Jean Wilde in title alone made me want to read it, especially knowing that it was about England Victorian society. I am always a sucker for romances set in that time period so I just knew that I would fly through this book. Tropes wise I do not know what exactly I would classify the relationship as because I do not think it counts as enemies to lovers so I guess it would be friends to lovers. It is definitely a very interesting adventure and not something I think I have seen before. This is why I love and hate romance novels because I want more of these characters, but I won’t except maybe in cameos in other books in the world. Obviously going into the book you know what is going to happen, that is the greatness of romance novels. However, there were some things that I was surprised to find in this book but in the hopes of not spoiling I will not share here. Overall an absolutely adorable novel and I hope to continue reading books by Jean Wilde in the future!

This book was a bit different than what I normally read but overall it was good. Seelie Kay created a world that was created based on a version of a type of sexual role play. Following the adventures of Abdul and Tillie as they tried to unravel the mystery of where Annabelle was, is an interesting read. Abdul and Tillie made a great couple and their interaction was fun to read. There were a few twists and turns in the story which made it a fun read. If a reader does not mind reading a novel that goes into something a little different, then this book might be right up your alley.

PLOT TWIST!! Let me preface this by saying, I NEVER read the summary on the back of the book. For me, no matter how vague, it spoils it for me. So I may have been more shocked by Rick than I should have been, but Oh MY GOD. Wow! I loved this story. Rick’s internal struggle and the reasoning behind it was well explained. I found myself rooting for him time after time. It is an amazing story and I was totally addicted. A really great read! Highly recommend! 15 out of 10!!

This is a heartwarming and lighthearted romantic comedy which had me hooked from start to finish. Hannah Brently hates Valentine’s Day having been dumped previously on the 14th February and now she hates everything to do with the day of love. She has also been put off the idea of love in general and is definitely not looking for a relationship. Then she meets one of Glasgow’s most eligible Bachelors, Kyle Randall. For Kyle although he has both wealth and good looks he has not found anyone he wants to settle down with and is not looking for love, until he meets Hannah. This is a romance featuring two cynical main characters who just happen to share a mutual attraction and a sizzling chemistry. I loved Hannah and Kyle and found them likeable and relatable and loved how their relationship developed. The storyline flowed well and although it’s a fairly short read it’s definitely packed full and had me happily turning the pages. I found ‘Date Night’ to be an enjoyable and engaging read and one which I definitely recommend.

Myth & Legends: An Indie Love Anthology was interesting. I only had the chance to read was Dragon’s Heart, written by Carrie Austin Malone. It was an interesting read, but felt like it moved very fast. It was a very quick read, but I feel like important details were left out because it was so fast paced. It was very steamy and raunchy for such a fast paced novel too. I will say this novel is unique in the way that I haven’t ever read a dragon book (which I haven’t read many dragon stories but I digress) that is quite like this one. It was very unique and interesting in how it was written. All in all this was a good and interesting read, I just feel like if it was longer and had some more details thrown in it could be even better than what it already is.
I wanted to read something a bit different from the usual genre that I had been my go to lately so I picked up this historical romance from the teasers that caught my eye. I am glad I gave it a go! Normally, not one I would just one-click but it really kept me enthralled and reading all the way until the end to find out what would happen and if that happily ever after would happen. I enjoyed how engaging Jean Wilde wrote these characters. I felt very much as if this was historically accurate but enjoyable and that is not easy to do for me personally as a reader. I will definitely be looking to see what else is available from Jean Wilde in The Scarlet Salon Series going forward!

I really enjoy reading anything Effie Kammenou this newest series, The Meraki Series, is just to darn fabulous to not absolutely adore. If you don’t believe in hopeless and sweet love these books will make you a believer I promise, and If you are they will only encourage that love to grow and multiply! I love especially how we are transported to far away, for me anyway, lands like Greece and Italy, and made to feel as if we can taste and smell the beautiful world it is. I want so bad someday to go to both these places but I feel like I have been even for a moment in my dreams just by reading these books. Kammenou can really transport you with her words. Love by Design brings us the slow building love story of two enemies that eventually will find love within each other. I just love books like these and how warm and fuzzy they make me feel. The underlying story makes you feel like it is an adventure you are on with them as a bonus! The real hidden gem is the recipes that Ms. Kammenou gives us woven in the story. Please try them and you will not be disappointed! I cannot wait for more Meraki books and whatever else may come from Effie Kammenou!

I really enjoy just about everything I pick up that is penned by Via Mari, and this, Relentless, is no exception to the rule. It is the fourth in her Billionaire Bodyguards series, and I personally recommend reading the others before diving into this one for the maximum enjoyment, but it ultimately isn’t necessary to the story really. I love how these books bring the romance and the intrigue all in one well developed and quickly read package. I can always expect some high suspense and twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. Relentless gives us the story of Dereck and Layla (I love that her name!) and it is one that will keep you fanning yourself as you turn the pages following the adventurous story they have to share. I cannot wait to see what we will get in the next book.

This is a full Audio Book filled with Romance of a different kind. Definitely not for those under 18, due to the adult theme. But the rest of us may love this unexpected romance.

This book honestly was an amazing read! I enjoyed every page truly. I loved how you got to have both sides of the story to Quinn and Tucker
Both from different lives but truly were two souls connected. Though out the book there were times there was love, laughter, hardships, drama and tears that I shed, but all of that and more made the story and book with all the wonderful characters what it was!
It wasnt your usual boy meets girl, boy falls in love, boy girl live happily ever after. To me this novel and characers were real! They had to work thru so much and get thru a lot of hardships to be with one another.
They had to work at it as basically any relatonship truly is and its not always easy. Feelings and carerers came to light and truly when it comes down to it , its all something we ask out selves? What do we really want? Is it love, fame or fortune, or security? This is what Quinn and Tucker found out with one another. And in the end thru everything they went thru, they know in their hearts they did it all for their true want in the end!
I loved this book with every heart string within me. I cant wait to see more books by this amazing author! i cant wait is a understatment! Honestly I reccomend this amaing captivating story!

This is the second book by this author I have read in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. I think I enjoyed this one as much as the previous book honestly. I am quite glad that I had read book three otherwise I would have been a little out of the loop, but I don’t think it is necessary as a reader to have to read it. You could pick it up without it, but it may take a few more chapters to really get into the nitty gritty and understanding of it. As with the previous book this one is also full of action and adventure, drama and danger, and sex, secrets, and suspense. In other words, everything that a keeps me interested and gripping the edge of my seat reading. Just as with the previous book, the author does a tremendous job of keeping the characters interesting and their connection instantaneous. A recommended book from me.

I LOVED THESE BOOKS! I love the characters and each one’s story. They really were fun to read. The characters were really likable. I think of all of them I think Dante was definitely my favorite. Although I loved the goofy shirts mentioned for Ozzy. Initially, I didn’t think I would like Fox as much as I did but he was very well written and likable. Totally recommend this series if you are looking for a relatively short but great upbeat romance. I found myself smiling a lot when reading and couldn’t put them down! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!

I enjoyed this book, it was really interesting. This is book 4 in the series and I haven’t read any of the previous books. I would recommend reading them as though. I understood the main story enough to enjoy it, but I had no idea who some of the side characters were and I feel it would have been even better had I known who every one was and how they all linked together. Jaru has stared up on his own, providing contract companions, with the backing and support of Teivel and Oren. He is determined to make it a success and run it on his own, however companions are starting to go missing so he employs Soren as security. Best friend Lark is now fed up at home and decides to join Jaru in the office, and ends up revealing a secret he’s been keeping. While Soren, Jaru and Lark work together to try and figure out who is behind the missing companions, they grow closer. The world building is really interesting and makes me want to go back and read more.

This was an emotional read. It is a story I love and the characters are so well written. I really enjoyed the concept of this story and the way it was paced not to fast not to slow. I like how we got to read from each character POV. Other relationship’s and dynamics are also shown which further impact’s this storytelling. Pasts can have an ugly way of revealing. I love the audio person on this book they done a great job of converting the characters.

Quinn has been a successful actress and now decides a change would be good, so she embarks on auditioning for the same company that has Tucker. The Earl and the Peahen (The Scarlet Salon Book 5) by Jean Wilde. When I first started reading I was so set against anything historical but recently I’ve become a big fan. And this author is one of the reasons. I find myself always sinking right in and enjoying being lost in the pages of her books. This could definitely be read as a stand-alone but I do highly recommend them all. The characters were easy to connect with and the storyline was fun to read. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking. The author does a wonderful job of bringing readers inside the world she’s created and I loved every minute of it. Four big stars and highly recommended!

I enjoyed this young adult story. This is a well written story about young love, broken hearts and finding a way to heal. The characters brought the story to life on each page I read. This is an engaging story that pulled me in from the beginning. I found the characters to be relatable and made the story entertaining to read. A teenage girl is broken from her first love when he turns up dead. She goes on vacation for the summer trying to heal but it doesn’t work. Then one night she meets him and they have a real connection. But what will happen when she finds out that he is a teacher? Things are now turned upside down, will they ever go back to normal? The characters are what made this story for me and the emotions they go through. I enjoyed watching their growth throughout the story. This is truly a great story that I highly recommend.

I absolutely loved this audiobook! I think it is probably one of the best that I have listened to so far. The narrator was brilliant, she really brought the story to life. The story was excellent, I love historical romance but usually in the early 1900’s so this was more modern for me but I loved it. The characters were brilliant, Jenny was a brilliant female lead, she made me laugh so many times. The time went so fast whilst listening because I was so engrossed in the story. I would highly recommend this audio book I thought it was absolutely brilliant!

This is a great collection of seven stories by seven great authors. Some of them are new to me and some are my favorites. There is something for everyone in this collection. The characters are mystical, magical and will take you on an adventure. Each story is unique and well written. The characters are fun, entertaining and give the story a realistic feel. One of my favorites is Dragon’s Heart. This is Geraint and Mary’s story. Geraint is a dragon shifter waiting for his mate to show themselves. Mary is a dragon mate who has been dreaming of dragons her whole life. Until she turned twenty-one and her dreams changed. Are they mates? This is a great story I truly enjoyed from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book and find a favorite story like I did.
This is the 2nd book in the series. It’s a lovely contemporary romance. Mia has final landed her dream job after a promotion she’s left working under her crush. Nick is a handsome man. After loving book 1 in this series, I couldn’t wait to read this one and revisit the Andarakis family again with Mia’s story and as I expected I loved every minute of it. I loved Mia, she was such a. Great character to read about and the authors attention to detail meant that I felt like I was right there with the characters at times. I really enjoyed the relationship between Mia and Nicholas, they certainly got off to a rocky start but I was secretly rooting for them the whole way through! I really like this author; her stories flow so well and are always a pleasure to read. I am really looking forward to the next one!

Whew! What a spicy read! It was steamy, but full of a plot that kept me turning pages to see everything unfold. I liked Layla from book 3, and was excited to be able to read her story. I love how brave and determined she was, really willing to risk it all. Dereck came off strong from the beginning, but he quickly grew on me. He helped Layla be able to drop her guard with him, and was determined to keep her safe. Overall I enjoyed this read!
