Via Mari really jumps right into this story from the first page, and it did not disappoint! I was pleasantly surprised to find that I liked Damian from the very beginning. It was Bryanna I was wondering about. There was more than once I was thinking, “why would she do that?!” But as the story goes on you learn exactly why, and how strong she was for going through it all. Damian’s need to protect Bryanna quickly surpassed it just being for the job. Their romance was as sweet as it was steamy. I’ll definitely be coming back for more by Via Mari!

5 Star Forged by Secrets (Deadly Isles Special Ops, book 3) by Amy McKinley
Forged by Secrets is the third book in the Deadly Isles Special Ops Series by Amy McKinley. Although these can be read as standalones I do recommend reading this series in order if you haven’t already started it. Each book is about one of the Hale brothers. I have read several books by this author and this one might be a favorite yet. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down till I finished. I had to know what was going to happen next. This is Tyler and Malina’s story. She’s an analyst for the Navy Seals and workingwith her crush from high-school. He’s not relationship material but he’s very hot and tempting. After a night of drinking in Vegas she finds herself letting her guard slip down and she winds up in his arms. Then she’s accused of treason and he finds himself trying to protect her. These two holy cow! Can these two have a future together? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read.

Just simply, WOW! The more and more that I delve into this series, the more that I love it! Twisted Throttle is the third book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series by Manda Mellett. I was a bit surprised with Noah aka Throttle, who happens to be Peg and Darcy’s son. Throttle is now the Enforcer of the mother chapter of Satan’s Devils in Tucson. It’s so cool to see these men all grown up now! In this book, Throttle seems to have a stalker. As soon as he gains on this stalker, a curve ball smacks him right in the face. Her name is Gwen. Just like so many of the other brothers in the series, Throttle is not ready for a permanent “Old Lady.” So what do you think happens between the two of them? I love these two and can’t wait to see where they go in future books. There are so many twists and turns. The reason I love this series and this author is the fact that you really never know what will happen. There are so many twists and turns that there is just no way you can predict the outcome of ANYTHING! It’s simply brilliant. There are never the same twists from book to book. Every book is a new adventure! Just like all the other series, I recommend you read it from the beginning but you can definitely read this one on its own. I love this series and cannot wait to read the next book!

I really enjoyed this book. This isn’t my first book by this author and it won’t be the last. I was pulled in from page one and the story was really engaging and kept my interest throughout all of the story. Mason and Delilah were great main characters and they had alot to over come on their journey. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. And I would recommend this to a friend! Happy Reading!

I loved this book. I was laughing the entire time it was being read to me. Audiobooks are great because you can multitask while they are being read to you. “Shift Happens” was so good, I would rewind it just to be sure I didn’t miss anything! It kept me smiling and upbeat the entire time. Also, the narrator of this book makes the characters come to life with her accents and change in tone when reading quotes. I listened to the first book in the “New Orleans Nocturnes” series, and when I saw the second one available, I was so excited to listen to it! This author writes in such a modern tone that it makes me feel like I’m living it. I look forward to reading and listening to more books by Carrie Pulkinen.

I have read all of Manda Mellett’s books in her MC stories. With each book I find myself reading and feeling like I was in the story. This story there is full of action, romance, and hot steamy scenes. There are two amazing characters which are what kept me reading until the last page. The characters are what bring the story to life. I highly recommend this book so you yourself can feel for these characters and their story.

Marlowe is a writer that finds it so much easier to live life at home with her cats. Her sister and her best friend are there for her and that’s all she needs. She’s sworn off of men and love. Who could blame her? Have enough bad relationships and you don’t really want more. Anxiety is so hard to overcome even when a smart, sexy and loyal guy like Heath comes along. A sweet love story that would make any chick flick lover happy!

Wow, another amazing addition to the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This book is the third in it’s series but can very well be read as a stand alone. Each book in the series does focus on a different couple. Which I still highly recommend reading all books in the series, they are great reads! Quite a bit happens in this story. Very entertaining and such a fantastic story. It is a romantic suspense that is full of a whole lot of sizzle along with secrets, danger, hidden agendas, action, and of course love. Captivated from the very first page, and I cannot wait to start the next book in the series. Love this author and her style of writing!

Auctioned is the third book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series and Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by one of my favourite authors Via Mari. I love this crossover series and absolutely love the alpha hot and sexy men that go above and beyond to protect. The love and they love hard. They are sexy and charming, witty, and smoldering, dangerous and deadly. Via gives us lots of explosive action and deadly suspense, danger, and secrets.

This book was so much fun to read. The bonus part of it is, it carries a wonderfully done undertone of addressing mental illness and anxiety and the impacts it can have on people and the ones they love. It is not an easy task to take a romance novel and add that mental illness topic and keep it one that will give you all the feels and some laughs while making you feel and relate to topics that are unfortunately not normalized nearly enough. I have not had a chance to read any of AD Brazeau’s works prior to this one, but you bet I will fix that and be devouring her other released novels as soon as possible. This one will be one you can and will probably want to read in a whole sitting and be sad to see it end merely because you have fallen for the characters as if they were real people. I sincerely look forward to seeing if we have or will be getting more books like this from Brazeau in the near future.

This was a lighthearted and fun romantic comedy with a realistic and lovable main character, Willow and I could not put the book down. It has plenty of romance and comedy, and a little bit of drama and suspense to keep the storyline exciting. It’s a wonderfully written heartwarming story with some real laugh out loud moments. Willow Everett only has flash backs of her drunken night and four wrinkled up napkins that all have phone numbers on them. With her best friends encouragement Willow dumps her lazy boyfriend and goes on a journey to find ‘her forever’. Unfortunately just when she thinks she has found this in the kind, funny and handsome Gun she learns about Sophie. Not wanting to be ‘that type of women’ Sophie tries to ignore the attraction between them but this only gets harder each time they meet. The obvious chemistry between Willow and Gun really comes across in the narrative and I loved the interactions between the two of them. The storyline flowed well and the plot had enough twists in it to keep me happily turning the pages. An enjoyable and engaging read.

I enjoyed this paranormal romance which is part of Richardson‘s ‘The Protectors Series’ and which had me gripped from page one. This stories main characters are Delilah and Mason who have a second chance at love when Mason goes to Delilah’s aid when she’s in danger. The ‘Trackers’ are hunting Delilah for her ‘Elemental gifts’ and she is desperate not to be captured. Even though Delilah left Mason a few years ago he knows it was because he would not open up about his past so this time around he knows he will have to talk about what haunts him, or he will have to push her away again. Although this is part of a series it can be read as a standalone story but the characters do crossover and the underlying storyline about ‘The Protector’s’ communities runs throughout the series. In this story the communities are in danger and a war is coming threatening to destroy their way of life. This is a fast paced novel with an exciting storyline and a plot which keeps you happily turning the pages. The world building is so detailed, and along with the descriptive narrative it made me feel completely immersed in the story. An enjoyable and engaging read.

Love Between the Lines. Book one of the Page Turners Series A.D. Brazeau
A.D. Brazeau has quickly become one of my most relatable authors. Her characters struggle with everyday problems that myself and I’m sure all readers can relate to to some extent; anxiety, loss, heartache, resentment, nerves, and doubt. The beautiful thing about this book is that these struggles actually help redeem the characters instead of seeing them as flaws. They build each other up and work on them together, to build trust and growth to be better. While it is a work of fiction, I believe it could actually help some people struggling with similar ailments- her character went to therapy, tried different strategies to get her feelings stable in HEALTHY ways.
Beyond the “self help love” I feel it’s promoting, I adored the plot line of the book itself. I’m a sucker for rekindling love and overcoming previous heartaches, great descriptions of places, scenes, and characters are definitely a plus too! I can’t wait to read more of her series!

When your instantly having to look after your baby niece, will Stone’s life slow down or will he find the woman to save him.
Stone is a Horse trainer and manwhore and is not a shamed of the reputation but when he is thrown into having to look after his sisters baby girl everything changes with his world.
Emmy has returned home to her grandfather’s ranch and has a mega crush on him as soon as she steps on the ranch. After a brief one night stand with Stone there relationship takes a turn as she is his sole help with looking after his sick niece.
This is the first story I have read by this author and I loved the flow of the story and the characters interactions, the only thing I would say is that the story was not long enough to get the full aspects of the chemistry between these two characters. I thought that the Emmy’s character was a brilliant female character with her smart and intelligent personal traits, although I did not have a real connection with Stone’s character I have read a lot of man whore romance books but I could not really get into him until you see the softer side to him and then as I said there was not enough story to redeem himself in the long run.
I would definitely read more books by this author as I enjoyed the flow of the story and can’t wait to read more.

Having already read this I knew I really enjoyed the book but I wasn’t expecting the narration to bring the book to life so much. It made it so easy to picture the characters and the adventure that was awaiting for them. I loved being able to visualise every aspect of the book. And the person they got to narrate this was the absolute perfect choice. Her voice drew me in completely and I loved the fact that the accent matched the story so well. It really made for a much more immersive experience and couldn’t not have been done any better. Two Hearts, One Stone (Boots and Babies) by Leslie Scott is a well written romance story. This is a new author for me and I enjoyed the way the characters were portrayed in the book. I felt the chemistry between them right from the word go. The sparks just seemed to fly between them. I thought their story was an enjoyable. They aren’t really as different from each other as I initially thought. I thought this was a great short story and the perfect way to be introduced to this author. I really don’t get on well with stories that have unbelievable relationships, or relationship development that feels too quick or forced. As such, I found this story a little bit difficult to get into and as it isn’t my sort of thing, I felt like it was lost on me. It is well written though, even if I don’t like the story being told I can appreciate the talent of the person who is telling it and Johns and Jesus write very well, their combined styles seamless. Braelynn Shaw is a hotshot lawyer who is awesome at her job, but she has a bit of secret that she can’t tell anyone, as this may affect her career path, and is close to being made partner she does not want to jeopardize it. Seth Giordano is her dirty little secret, both her boyfriend and the youngest son of the Sindicato, a nice harmless group of mob families. When Braelynn crosses an ethical and moral line Seth steps in to help her, meaning that their closely kept secret has to be brought out into the open, which spells a problem as the mob families, surprise surprise, aren’t the most accepting. Who’d have thunk it ay? What’s that old adage though, the enemy of my enemy is my friend? Well, when a common enemy rear their ugly head then the families seem to forget years of tradition and begrudgingly accept their relationship and the strong-willed Braelynn. I don’t really know much about mob families, but I found their quick acceptance of the relationship a little hard to swallow, just felt too quick especially considering the emphasis on years of tradition and whatnot. As I said before this is not my type of tale and as such, I found it difficult to fully immerse myself in the story and in the plight of the characters. Still Johns and Jesus (sounds almost biblical) are competent writers and obviously work very well together. Would recommend this to anyone that loves a good dose of angst with their romance.

This is my first time reading a book by Toya- she did not disappoint! Toya has mastered the art of storytelling. Her characters came alive on the pages and her writing style captivates the reader. I tried to squeeze in a chapter before bed and I could not put it down (thank God for coffee!!). A page-turner! I admired her creativity in the characters’ abilities, the vivid descriptions of each scene and the portrayal of strength depicted through the female characters. I was a bit sad when it ended- Electric Temptation is one of those stories that the more you read, the more you want to know- but you don’t want it to come to an end. Well played Toya Richardson, well played.

I love Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series and I was really looking forward to this book and I was definitely not disappointed. I was hooked from page one of ‘Twisted Throttle’ which focuses on Noah, who’s road name is Throttle and Gwen. Noah is in fact the son of Peg who was an original Satan’s Devils member and his Old Lady Darcy. Throttle is now a patched in member of the MC and the Clubs Enforcer, which is why it’s a surprise when someone starts stalking him. Then his sisters friend from high school Gwen starts working as a waitress at the clubs ‘Wheel Inn’ restaurant and bar, and although Throttle never noticed her before he definitely notices her now. He starts to rethink his ‘one night only’ rule but is not sure if he’s ready for an ‘Old Lady’ of his own. Meanwhile, things escalate with his stalker and go from gifts from an admirer to silent phone calls to something more dangerous, and when Gwen is put in danger Throttle knows he has to confront his crazy one night stand turned stalker. I could not put this book down and was gripped by the storyline and the plot twists kept me guessing until the last page. I loved Throttle and Gwen and their sizzling chemistry really came across in the narrative. The story was action packed and fast paced and as usual full of drama, suspense and or course romance. I am now impatiently waiting for the next Satan’s Devils MC book in the series.

Twisted Throttle is the 3rd book in this chapter of the Devils. This is Throttle and Gwens story. Throttle is Peg’s son and is now a patched member of the club. Throttle is a bit of a lads lad at first. Gwen has a bit of an ordeal but as normal the Devils help out. Oh Pussy I actually like her she’s make me laugh every time. She does it again no book is the same twice her character are always individual and have spunk.

I was concerned about this book as it is out of realm of my normal genres. Also, I wasn’t familiar with the author as I haven’t read any of her previous books. However, I will say that after reading this book I am going to check out some of her other books because that’s how much I enjoyed reading this one. I must say that I found this to be a very well written romantic story. The characters were very relatable I thought and while filled with their romantic journey there was quite a bit of drama mixed in as well. I found myself laughing out loud at a lot of the mess that she has managed to get herself into that makes her a “hot mess”. In fact, there were some instances that made me think back to several of my friends during their college years. This was a quick read for me because I found myself turning the pages to get to the end of the story. I was intrigued from the first chapter to see where and what was going to happen with this train wreck, and I wasn’t disappointed. It was a wild but fun ride.

I enjoyed this book. This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites by her yet. One thing I enjoy most about this author is her ability to write and her attention to details. I enjoy being pulled into this story from the beginning. The characters are connectable and keep the story engaging to the end. They brought life to the story as they made it feel realistic. Zach and Emily are from two different worlds where family and friends may not be who they say they are. Could there be more to West Lakes and what darkness awaits in this world. The twists and turns bring suspense and kept me turning pages. I highly recommend this book.
This is a new genre for me, I love all things witches but never read many books about them. This book was so fun, funny and engaging. I love listening to audiobooks it makes me feel so much closer to the characters. The narrator dos a great job of demonstrating the emotions of the character. My favourite was the sassiness of some of the characters, I could picture them acting in my head. It has me intrigued to read the first book in the series. I very much enjoyed this audiobook, if you love werewolves and witches but mostly steamy romances THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU!

I love Pulkinen’s writing and thoroughly enjoyed experiencing this story through audio. The narrator does a nice job conveying the emotion of all of the characters, especially the sass of a southern lady who is trying desperately to fit in to the supernatural community without an ounce of magic to her name, or so she thinks. A fun book and a fun listen.

This is Annette Nauraine’s debut romance novel, and if this is what we can expect from her then wow! This book is a historical romance with inspiration from the opera Arabella, that follows Matteo and Zdenka on a journey they never expected. The language in this book paints vivid pictures that explode in your mind’s eye as you read. You are just drawn into the pages of the story. Matteo and Zdenka must overcome pain and fear of the truth coming out in order to find the love that could save them both
