When you are stuck with the boss’s bratty daughter what are you going to do, strangle her or kiss her?
Tuck is biding his time waiting for his call up to the big Rodeo stage but he wakes up one morning knowing he will be late for work. After hauling his ass as quickly as possible he knows the only job that will be left is babysitting Jess the boss’s spoilt daughter which just grates on him.
When arriving at the Ranch all hell breaks loose when the decision has been announced and he is going to the PBR event and Mr Flanagan wants to throw him a party, who is he to say no. Jess is smitten with Tuck but as she has putting on the spoilt brat attitude around him will he see beyond this act and see her for her. She can only hope.
This is the first book I have read by this author and loved it. The sweet nature of Tuck and in real insecurities that came from Jess was lovely to see. The two characters were well written and the chemistry bubbled underneath the surface until it exploded at the end. Although this is a novella the story is not rushed or sloppy but I would like to read more of their adventures in Vegas. I also loved the interaction of the secondary characters and I am sure there is a story regarding Bubba in there somewhere. Thank you for letting us peak into this world and hope there is more.

Cam Johns is a chef, he also owns his own restaurants, but his life is torn apart when the woman he loves, Phoenix Brighton is ripped away from him by death and he can’t understand why, but he knows he doesn’t want to live without her and that his heart is broken. He thinks about his past experiences, especially with women and the one who got away, he remembers the last time he saw her and thinks about how much his life has changed and that her parting words have come true, just as she predicted, so when he goes to seek help, although he doesn’t want to speak or think about any of it.
Eventually, his therapist helps him to finally open up, but she starts slow and asks about the first time he met Phoenix. This just happened to also be the day when he made a mark in the foodie world with his restaurant which he had just opened. He talks about how a very influential foodie blogger had come to review his restaurant and his food, but when he takes the dish, his pride and joy to her in the restaurant, he cannot take his eyes off of the mystery woman eating alone and reading at another table and unwittingly walks straight into his guest and ends up spilling the entire dish all over her while she is livestreaming to her multitude of followers. Without a second thought, she ends the livestream while giving him a second chance to cook for her when the woman he couldn’t take his eyes off offers to help her out with her dilapidated and food covered state with some clothes she has in the boot of her car. As they disappear he goes to prepare for his second chance and ends up having a rave review, but the mystery woman never comes back, however, she does give her details over the phone when she arranges to pay her bill which she walked out on. After he has spoken about this with his therapist, she gives him some homework and then drops a truth bomb on him at the end of the session, she tells him something about phoenix which he knew nothing about and which shocks him to the core, he feels betrayed, lied to, more heartbroken and angry about this information and it takes time for him to process it.
A couple of days later, he goes back to his restaurant and realises what a selfish person he has been for the last year since Phoenix died when his staff finally break through his angry exterior and open up to him about their feelings and this paired with the homework he has been given, he finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel. This is the start of a long process of grief, recovery and a rollercoaster of emotions as he comes to term with the revelations of more secrets and information while completing his homework until he comes face to face with a blast from his past and doesn’t quite know what to do about it. Will he be able to come to terms with what he knows and what he is finding out and be able to recover from his biggest heartbreak, or will his emotions get the best of him before he can jump on a second chance he never thought he would get and which he is struggling to believe he deserves? This is an emotional rollercoaster filled with secrets, revelations, betrayal, heartbreak and love as you are whirled around in a torrent of emotions along with Cam as he undertakes his journey.
This is my first book by this author and I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a sweet romance story that kept me turning pages to the end. It is fast paced and I read this book in one sitting. This author’s attention to details made the characters feel realistic. I had no problems relating to them. This is a story about Cecily. She wants to be an actress and also has a huge crush on Andrew who is a singer. When an opportunity comes up for her to be a part of his music video she jumps at it. As the story goes things with Cecily and her current boyfriend start falling apart. There is an attraction between them from the beginning, will Andrew pick up Cecily as she falls? I enjoyed the chemistry between these two. It made the story fun and easy to read. They are truly great characters that just made the story for me. I highly recommend this book.

Let me first start off by saying, I love music. Music of any all genres. I have since I was tiny. So, I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this book because it is about music and romance and that’s a winning combination in my opinion. Also, I am an avid young adult reader, so this made picking up the book even more of a win/win situation. And am I glad that I did because it is actually a very good read, although a little slower than I would have liked for it too. However, I was glad that I stuck it out and completed the book. I will say that it certainly tugged at my heart and had me rooting for the main character and biting my fingernails at the end. I wasn’t familiar with this author previously, but she has a way of showing the young adult anxiety and lack of confidence that so many of us have experienced at some point and time in our lives.

This isn’t your typical love story. Climbing The Walls is the first book in the Hart & Cole Series by Sacha T. Y. Fortune. You typically read stories where the main characters are single looking for love. This story is quite the opposite. Kris and Nicole are married with two great kids. Nicole often wonders how she can deserve Kris. Nicole works…a lot! She’s a journalist and writer who has a boss that is constantly on her. All she wants is to be a better wife and mother. But when her boss confides in her that he is having marital problems, that when things get a bit shaky. This book really shows the ups and downs of marriage and the things we need to do to keep it together. I really enjoyed this book and all of the characters in it. This was a really easy story to read and ended up to be very intriguing. This is the first time I have read this author and was thoroughly impressed. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series! This is for all you married people out there!

“Climbing the Walls” is about a family that has grown into its dysfunction. Therefore, they don’t see it until it is too late. Most of us who read romance novels are used to reading about our characters meeting someone new, or realizing it was their best friend all along. This story is different because it takes place after all of the romance, exploration, and realizations. It shows how easily things can fall apart when, all along, it all looked perfect. The characters are exciting, the plot is riveting, and the story line always thickens. This is a story about a family whose whole lifestyle is on the line. I could see this book becoming a movie, and really good one at that!

Seconds (Internet Famous, #6) by Cam Johns was a great 5 star read. It took me just a bit to get pulled into the story but I really enjoyed it.
Braxton is a chef who is struggling with the loss of his love Phoenix. He is seeing a counselor and is sharing their love story. As he talks to the counselor he is learning things that he never caught before. How did he miss some of the important signs? We get to experience his memories with him and I have to say I loved the day they met…I had a LOL moment. I really liked how much the counselor helped him understand the things he was feeling.
Overall this was an emotional read with lots of unexpected twists and turns. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this great read.
If you’re looking for a romance read that will rattle you and characters that will change you then this is the book for you. It is told by two different point of views so it does interchange between characters. This novel, in my opinion, reflects real life events. The emotion that is shown in the writing is so raw that it makes your heart hurt for the main characters. In this novel, happy isn’t something that comes easy in the end. It tells that love is worth fighting for.

Beckoned: Born of Darkness is a wonderful read. From the first page I loved it. It just socks you right in and has you engrossed. This is definitely a recommended read. Sexy vampires with attitudes, a strong female hunter what’s not to love about this novel? The Born of Darkness series is a very steamy reverse harem paranormal romance that features one badass female hunter, her four fated vampire mates, and provocative MFMMM scenes. Not for anyone under the age of 18. R. B. Fields is an absolute genius when it comes to imagination.

I give Climbing the Walls (Hart and Cole Book 1) by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné 5 out of 5 stars. This is the best novel I have read in a long time! I love the characters and the way it switches back and forth between them, as it gives perspective to each side of the story. The storyline is very relatable and even pointed out a few lines to my husband! This story centers around a married couple, Nicole and Kris, and their two kids. It shows the highs and lows of married life and the struggle to keep a modern, working family afloat. The writing is clever and fresh and is a page-turner, for sure. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be checking out more by this author.

Can Dreams Come True by Krysten Lindsay Hager is a sweet coming of age story for young adults. Thinking back to when I was a teen, I could totally relate to Cecily who feels like she doesn’t quite fit in with her friends and classmate. Cecily’s experience of her first relationship with a boy and the issues that pop up are spot on. I liked the fact that Cicely was willing to go to an audition to help a friend and ended up getting a gig herself. I do think that Andrew and Cecily had a great connection from having similar interests and beliefs which helped. Overall, the story was well written and I would definitely be recommending this book to my daughter.

Best Of My Love: (Love in Emerald Creek) by N.D. Jackson was a story full of romance. It is a story of a second chance at love.
After the man she had intended to marry broke her heart, Dre never returned to Emerald Creek. However, she was suddenly transported back to her hometown. She was face to face with the guy she had never expected to see again. Dre is finding it difficult to resist the pull of the chemistry she and Erick still have. All those years ago, Erick made the biggest mistake of his life, but that result, his baby. He’d done the right thing, but despite everything, his marriage had failed. Dre was now back in Emerald Creek, and the universe had given him a second chance this summer to repair what he had broken.
I loved every page of this book. Finding love after so many years and getting another chance at the happiest life you could have had makes it an incredible read.

Seconds Internet Famous Collection By Cam Johns ☆☆☆☆☆ This is a full length novel. Romance with heartache is what you will find in this story. Not for those under 18, due to adult content.
Braxton Knight is a celebrity chef who owns his own restaurant. His life took a turn and things are not in his best interest. He lost his soul mate and can’t understand what happened. He is so angry and has lost more than his heart. Until someone walks, and flips his world all over again. Can Braxton walk away from his past and into the unknown?
Cam Johns has written many stories. But this one took my heart on page one and gave it back on the last page. I love Braxton and Senara. There are two people who need each other more than they know. This book will definitely open up some feelings. A little crying will be needed, in order to finish this love story. Time to sit down to a great story. Well Done Cam Johns! Well Done!!

Price of a Rose: A Beauty & Beast Tale is the second book in the Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings series by Byrd Nash. I have read most of Ms. Nash’s other books now and I can honestly say that this is definitely my favourite of them all (so far). As the title would suggest, this is a historical fantasy and an original retelling of the classic fairytale, Beauty & the Beast. The story is so wonderfully woven – with magic, enchantments, curses, beasts, fairies, mystery, danger, hidden agendas, a little humour, a wager, a game, and full of rich historical details. Byrd Nash certainly knows how to tell an enchanting story- as she easily pulled me into her ‘world’ on the very first page- and had me captivated the whole way through. I loved her characters and was completely invested in them and the outcome of the story. I also loved all the little twists she added to make the story uniquely hers. I was so taken with the world she created, that the story ended before I was ready to leave. Now I can’t wait to see what she does next. I need her next book like yesterday.

This was my first book by Sacha T.Y. Fortuné. This story revolves around a married couple, Nicole and Kris. The book has both sides told so you can be in each person’s shoes when something happens. It’s actually quite brilliant. Normally in a book, you are on one person’s “side” because that’s the only side you read. During this rollercoaster of emotions you get to understand the character more deeply, because you hear their side and see how they react through the other person’s perspective as well.

This is a clean romance story that I found to be quiet a sweet read that is perfect for the young adult audience or anyone that likes their stories to be written in this manner. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I thought that it was well written. The story was good and kept my interesting and I thought the characters were engaging. This is the first book I’ve read by Alexander but it won’t be my last. A Hole is a fantastic start to the Alpha Bet Guys Series. Alexander is a great author and I can’t wait for the next one.
Ace has left his life behind in New York and comes back to Philly. There he finds that a certain bank teller has caught his eye. When he’s mistaken for someone else things are blown up. The quote I chose for Ace is: “Wow, thanks for that. Comparing me to a damn isotope. I hope you know that’s going in one of my stand-up routines.”
Ella isn’t sure what Mr. Bennett wants with her. She knows he’s an a**hole, but what happens when she starts falling for him. She goes to her besties sister and finds that she had him mixed up with someone else. The quote I chose for Ella is: “Well, wouldn’t it be hilarious to get back at Ace for what he did to Cara by pulling the same nonsense? Making out with him and then forgetting who he is? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander, right?”

Climbing The Walls ( Hart & Cole Book 1) by Sacha T.Y. Fortune. This book was very good. It was told by the husband and wife’s perspectives which I loved. Its the story of Kris a loving husband and father who wants nothing more than a happily ever after with Nicole. Nicole is a power hungry business woman and loves to love. Throw in her crazy boss Darren and his marriage that’s falling apart and you get a big fat mess. Nicole loves her kids and Kris and she wants nothing more than to be a great mom and even better wife but she’s so driven by her work she can’t seem to control herself. Darren uses that to his advantage. Nicole needs to decide if she can help Darren and keep her job all without getting a divorce of her own. This is a fast paced read, once you start you won’t put it down. I really enjoyed it.

Price of a Rose: A Beauty & Beast Tale (Historical Fantasy Fairytale Retellings #2) by Byrd Nash
The second book by Byrd Nash in the Fairytale Retelling Series. In this book we get to see a new version of Beauty and the Beast. Beast has three Beauty’s instead of one. Byrd Nash has a certain way of retelling the fairytales.
Sir Griffin has found himself in a bit of a dilemma. He now has a debt to receive from Mr. Parker. His three daughters. The quote I chose for Sir Griffin is: “Do not remove anything from the grounds of Thorn Hall. I shall know if you do.”
Lily is the eldest Parker daughter at the age of 25. She is soon to be married and will leave her sisters behind. When she learns what went down between her father and Sir Griffin, she goes to see what she could do to get out of it. The quote I chose for Lily is: “I don’t know. I imagine a house that size would have one. Give me a few days to get my feet under me, before you visit.”
Rose is the middle Parker daughter at 21. She loves the garden and spends most of her time out there. When she and Lily go to Thorn Hall she finds the roses. She is the only one who has seen Sir Griffin. The quote I chose for Rose is: “Why be a domestic? We may be daughters of a city-man in trade, but our position in society is not so low.”
Poppy is the youngest Parker sister at 14. She’s too young to be married so her sisters try to find what she could do to pay off her part of the debt. When her father questions where the oldest are she tellls him. The quote I chose for Poppy is: “Lily is the new housekeeper at Thorn Hall, and Rose is helping Sir Griffin with his garden. They are paying off your gambling debt.”

Climbing the walls Hart and Cole book 1 By Sacha T.Y. Fortune
Nicole and Kris are a married couple with two kids, this is not your typical love story, in the way that these two start out married and stay married. It is a story about a journey the two take and how they change. Finding themselves and improving their marriage. This is my first book by this author and my first love story of this kind. All in all I was sucked in right away and it held my attention throughout the book. Mostly because it was a different kind of love story. I highly recommend this book. It is a refreshing change.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a really emotive story that drags you in. I really like how the story unfolds and as it does we see more of the characters that even they didn’t realise.
Braxton is a successful cheif. He’s got multiple restaurants and women throwing themselves at him. However Braxton keeps a hard shell to protect himself and even though he has strong feelings for Senara he loses her by pushing her away.

Seconds is novella number six in the Internet Famous collection by Cam Johns. Tragedy, turmoil and mortification follows Braxton Knight. Anger drives him and everything in his life begins to spiral out of control. A blast from the past re-enters his life and throws him into a tailspin once more.
This story is about second chances. It is also a spin on a classic fairy tale with a modern twist. The characters were colourful and dramatic, but thoroughly enjoyable to read about. A very eventful story with a happy ending. 4 stars.
Cam Johns and Sonya Jesus are dynamite when they team up. This short novella was jammed to the rim with all the goodies I love in a thriller romantic read. I loved how fast this read but still made me feel as if I had a full length read when I finished, and that I had it stick with me for a very long long time. I loved Braelynn, a kickbutt lawyer with her own skeletons in the closet. She has a secret that she hides well though and things may get complicated when her life collides with Seth, a mafia boss that will make you drool. They are fabulous characters separate but together they ignite your kindle as you read. I can’t wait to see what will come next from these two.

This second chance romance was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. Braxton and Phoenix leapt off the pages. This story was beautifully written. Cam Johns has done a skillful job weaving a story that has the underpinning of a classic fairytale with a modern flair that immediately connects. Loved every page.
Price of a Rose: A Beauty & Beast Tale by Byrd Nash was a great read! It read just as easy (if not easier) as her Cinderella regency romance novel. If you’re a fan of Sarah J. Maas, you will love this novel, because with the fairies it reminded me so much of one of Maas’s novels. This book was quick to read, had a great storyline and plot and amazing characters. It also had a happy ending, for the people who love that. This was book so beautifully written, adding the magical and fantasy in such a way it didn’t seem to fantastical. I loved reading this book and can’t wait for the next! I really hope Nash writes another regency fairytale retelling!

This is the fifth book in the Internet Famous Collection and is just under 100 pages in length. This story follows Braxton, an incredibly talented (and hot) chef. Braxton is looking for a second chance with Senara. They had a booty call type relationship a few years back after his first love, Phoenix, died. Now he is looking for more. He has been doing therapy and his business is off the ground, but will he be able to make it work with Senara? So many emotions!!
This is a sweet romance story which I enjoyed. This is a well rounded story that comes to life with each page I turned. The characters are relatable and are created with a lot of heart. This is a story about Regan. She fell in love with her boss in the past and is determined she will never date someone she works with again. Zachary is the head of a successful empire. He is used to getting whatever he wants until now. Will he be able to convince her of giving him a chance? What will happen when her past comes to the present and threatens his success? Will he choose her or his empire? I enjoyed their chemistry. I also enjoyed watching their relationship grow into what it was. They really made the story for me and what they brought to the story. I highly recommend this book.
