This book threw me for loop. This story was a bit hard to follow at times due to POV changes and such in my opinion but the base of the storyline was really good. I definitely was left feeling like this author kept me on the edge of my seat. I love a book that keeps me guessing and doesn’t spell it out too easily and early. It’s a short read but it’s a well written story. The characters easily draw you in. All in all a good read and I do recommend it. Four big stars.
This book pulled at my heart from the start. Hope and Adam will definitely steal your heart. There’s just about everything you could want in this story. Yes it’s a story with loss but the outcome is beautiful. The author writes a beautiful story with hard subjects and it’s done wonderfully. There’s times I had tears running down my face but there was also times of laughter. The author balances it well. It’s got a nice pace never felt rushed or drawn out unnecessarily. I’d definitely recommend this story to anyone and give it five stars.

I am so happy that I stumbled on this amazing author, Celia Hart, and this wonderful book. These characters are so compelling and well written that I felt like I was completely in the story with them!
Jasmine has always been the good girl who listens to her controlling parents, but she starts to rebel when she meets Blake, the extremely yummy soon to be alpha of her wolf pack. Though they aren’t destined mates, they feel comfortable around each other and have a mutual attraction between them. Will Jasmine give into her desires and be with Blake until her destined mate appears or will she hold strong to her convictions? What will happen when she finally meets her mate? Will Jasmine have the picture perfect mated relationship she’s dreamed of or will chaos reign, especially since WAR may be on the horizon for her pack? You should pick this book up and read it to find out, as for me I’m off to get the next books in this series.

Angela Lam is a new to me author and I wasn’t sure what to expect but the blurb on the book sounded really intriguing. The author usually writes woman’s fiction and from what I’ve read this is her first foray into writing a suspense/thriller. I don’t know about her previous work but I think she fits into this niche very well. I enjoyed this book very much from start to finish and I’m interested in reading more from this author.

Reckless Love is the fourth installment of The Bennetts of Langston Falls series. Although this novel can be read as a standalone with plenty of reference to the past, I highly recommend reading the entire series. The characters are lovable, relatable, and draw you in from the very beginning. This slow burn, forbidden romance, introduces you to Becky and Glen. Becky doesn’t know much more than taking care of her brothers and father since her mother’s passing. She is lonely and longing to enjoy someone special for herself. Glen carries baggage from his past and is eight months sober. He is falling for the girl he knows he can’t have most. Can the two of them move beyond the past and make this relationship work? Or will someone get hurt in the meantime?
Fletcher writes her novels right from the heart. Speaking to touchy topics such as addiction, sobriety, and the hurt it can cause not only a person but their surrounding loved ones. She is devoted to her characters and her readers. Every time I pick up one of her novels I know I can count on taking the journey right along with her characters from beginning to end. I have not read a KG Fletcher novel that I did not like. I highly recommend, not only Reckless Love, but the entire series to all romance novel lovers. You won’t regret it!

I absolutely loved this sweet holiday read. Lizzie is down on her luck but is still there to help out her best friend when she needs her to. She ends up taking her non refundable ticket to Australia and decides just enjoy the holiday and regroup. She doesn’t plan on being hit in the face with a kids football. That football to the face was the best thing ever. She ends up meeting Jaz…the father of the kid who hit her. The very hot father!!! Jaz and Lizzie end up becoming friendly and hang out a few times and then Jaz invites her over for a holiday bbq lunch with a few friends which she accepts and that is when their friendship turns into more. What’s the harm In a little holiday fling when there’s an expiration date ? Usually there’s no harm in that unless feelings become involved which they clearly do. Great holiday read for a quick escape from the real world.

I love this series with my entire heart! The way the words and the story just draw me in, is mind blowing. I’m not reading a book, it’s like I’m watching a movie. Enemies to lovers is my favorite. This is the 4th book in the Bennets of Langston Falls series. Although this can be read as a standalone, it’s well worth reading the entire series to getting a deeper understanding of the characters. I enjoyed the author’s writing style; it flowed nicely and brought the characters to life. I got emotionally invested in their stories, their pasts and potential future. I love characters who show development as the book progresses, and in this instance both Becky and Glen show this development (I particularly liked that Glen’s development didn’t just start in this book, it can be found previously and ties in brilliantly). Their pasts and what they experienced come into play how they initially act and try to rebuild lives and relationships. It was encouraging to read, and I found myself rooting for the pair increasingly as I read on. This was a well-written and at time emotional read that tugs on your heartstrings. The characters find ways into your heart and you can’t help but want them to succeed. I really enjoyed this book, but I do think you get a better appreciation and understanding if you read the entire series. You don’t want to miss out on everyone else!

Wolfbane is an interesting story with a twist. The main character Jasmine is a well-trained religious young werewolf who has to be perfect for her father and mother. She has to get straight A’s and nothing less and keep herself pure for her mate. Yet she finds herself tempted with the young new Alpha and has a hard time understanding the rules of the temple and the moon goddess. Will she be able to withstand the temptations? That is what this book that Celia Hart has written is all about. It leaves you wanting more and is erotic, a tear-jerker, a page-turner that is tragic, twisted and steamy. It is a series that you will want to start and never want to put down plus you will feel as though you are the characters that are being portrayed in the storyline.

I found this book to be a unique and refreshing historical romance story that was well written and exciting to read. I loved getting to know Sean and Elena as they navigated a tense and complicated situation. Their connection was undeniable, even when they didn’t trust each other and had alternative agendas. When I started reading this book, I didn’t realise it was the third book in the series. However, it didn’t feel like I had missed anything by not reading the previous two. This author has created a strong story that really pulls you in. I am already looking forward to the next book and I will certainly be reading the previous two.
Sweet Vengeance (Mission Belles Book 3) by Pamela Gibson- 4 out of 5 stars
This is the third book in the Mission Belles series. My first read from this author and I was not disappointed. Full of action, mystery, murder, plot twists, romance and so much more, this book will keep you on your toes. My favorite part was how realistic the author made the book, as if she breathed life into the pages. I highly recommend reading this series.

What a fun Halloween story. I always pick this author when looking for something new to read. The story is well written with just the right amount of romance and mystery. A must read. While the story is short it was packed with high jenks and hair raising events. The main characters are the highlight of the events happening at the Eden Cove Manor. One breaking into the Manor, the other teaching a lesson. Paranormal stories have always interested my reading mind. This one tops them all. So many scares for this Halloween Story. I loved it and look forward to reading more from this author.

An enjoyable and engaging paranormal romance which kept me hooked throughout. The rules say that as a wolf shifter you should wait for the Moon Goddess to grant you your mate, which Jasmine who always follows the rules does, so no flirting and no dating. But then she meets the mysterious future alpha who is off limits but she’s drawn to him, until her first crush reappears and suddenly she’s torn between two werewolves. The complicated relationships between Jasmine and Blake and Jasmine and Luke as well as best friend Lucy makes for a storyline full of drama, angst, romance and sizzling chemistry. I loved the characters and the dynamics between them and how certain relationships changed and developed throughout the story, and the chemistry sizzled off the page. The setting came alive through the descriptive narrative and the plot twists kept me guessing as to the outcome of the story. I was pleased there was no cliffhanger ending and I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

This is the first book in the Wolfbane series. It is a paranormal romance which has twists and turns, fated mates, hot sexy alpha and beta werewolves and one girl torn between the two. This story was a fast paced read and had characters you will love and also hate. It is a story of finding your fated mate but also a story of friendships and how they can go from positive to negative and toxic. We have four main characters in this story and each on is unique. Firstly we have Jasmine. She is a firm believer of following the rules set out by her pack and her parents and vows to keep herself for her mate alone that is until temptation is placed in her way in the shape of the new Alpha Blake.
Blake had it all including his mate until she was taken away from him. He now lives life on his terms and is determined to not let another woman close until he meets Jasmine. Something about her draws him to her and even though he knows she isn’t his mate it doesn’t mean he can stop the attraction he feels towards her.
Then we have Luke and Lucy. Lucy is Jasmine’s best friend and unlike Jasmine she doesn’t want to wait for her fated mate. She wants to choose her mate and she chooses Luke. Luke knows that Lucy isn’t his mate but is happy to go along with it. That is until he finally meets his mate Jasmine. The lengths Lucy goes to destroy any chance of Luke and Jamaine being together really made me dislike her. She acts like a child who can’t get her own way. Saying that Luke was just as bad thinking with another part of his body instead of his head which leads to problems with Jasmine.
Through all this story my heart goes out to Jasmine and Blake. All Jasmine wanted was to find her mate and for him to have saved himself for her like she has for him and it breaks her heart when she realises who her mate is. My Heart also broke for Blake. As he got closer to Jasmine his feelings towards her start to change from friendship to something more but with the arrival of her mate he has to face losing someone he cared about again.
This was a gripping story that I couldn’t put down. The author’s writing was great to have 4 characters and to leave me with such strong emotions about each character is unique for me as a reader. I can’t wait to see what else this series brings.

Reckless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 4) by KG Fletcher. I love this series and this author so I was not surprised I loved this book so much. Its the story of Becky and I was so ready for it. Becky has her life pretty together but she feels like something is missing or wrong. She has her own cooking show on you tube that tons of strangers see, she takes care of her brothers and dad and also does all the planning at the family farm but she still feels like she is missing out on something in life. Glen has had a rough past and caused a lot of people a lot of heartache. Becky decides to forgive Glen and maybe that will be the thing she’s needing in her life. When she does the attraction they feel for one another is explosive. But when he hurts her and she walks away he’s determined to make it right. Will Becky’s family forgive Glen enough so that they can be together? Such a good slow burn romance!

This book has everything packed into it. It is an amazing start of a series. This book is a quick read because it sucks you into the characters and the plot. It will have you ignoring what you need to be doing in order to continue reading to see what happens. The character growth is spot on and it doesn’t feel like it is rushed or dragged out. The author gives background information, this allows the reader to have a more complex understanding of the story and the characters. It is written in multiple person point of view, which I love because I feel like it gives you more depth and better understanding why something is happening. The inner turmoil that is presented relatable when dealing with making the right or wrong decisions. Everyone has been there where they wonder if following what someone is telling you to do or your own gut is going to be beneficial. This book has moments of suspense, intrigue, steam, love, and amazing characters with great personalities. This is a very strong beginning of a series book and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series. Those Rogues are still at it. In this chapter of our continuing Masters saga, we meet Master Sardinia, hottie extrodinaire. The author can make the room temperature rise with her descriptions of the Masters. I do believe this is the hottest of them all (sorry, Descalia fans). He and the rest of the gang have assembled to hunt the rogues, shifters, etc. who are reported to be in his area. I love that ever one from the other stories has returned. We even get a sub story with tension between Luca and Embry. Sorry man that pisses her off. But Sardinia has his hands full with an annoying psychic. The chemistry between the two is off the charts!! (along with the tension). They have major baggage to deal with and that’s what makes the story fun to read. It’s an adventurous battle all the way through. You should really read this series. It’s fantastic. I had though this was the end of the series…. but no, cliffhanger!!!! and doozy!!! I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book in 2024. Reasons I enjoyed this book:

Fenimore James is a dreamer and wants to move away from his home, so he decides to run away and join the Outlaw gang run by Red Evans. So as he is established himself with in the group he changes his name and becomes Simon Shaw.
Simon sees the sheer brutally of the gang with some things he wished he had not witnessed but while he is trying to reconcile with this life within the gang and the crimes committed he is also battling with in his private life. While struggling to come to turns with the attraction to another gang member they are forced to hide the relationship and have snatched moments beings the two of them together and become a strong couple.
But in the meantime some one is killing the gang and can they find the person or are they all in the killers cross hair.
This is a chunky book but it needed to be to tell the story properly, I loved the discovery journey Simon had through the book and him just wanting to be part of a family which in the end was not quite what he expected. The story was great to read to see another era and racing through the trilling twists and turns made this a great story to follow and be immersed in. I loved the writing and the characters were well developed and added to the whole book.

Ben Roberts is an expert in the world of Anthropology and when he receives a request to help with the Medical Examiners office this peaks his interest especially when the examiner is Trudy. Ben and Trudy start to work on finding the identity and the reasons behind the death but as they investigate more and more it becomes more intense, but when they uncover secrets and things people want to keep quiet but as they become more involved in the case there chemistry increases and in the end can they solve the mystery?
I loved all the books in this series so far and this one is just as good, although this is the third book you can feel comfortable reading as a stand alone story, although previous characters are referenced it does not take away from the story or the relationships.
The drama building in this story was well written and the book flowed with the thrilling twists and turns. I have loved Trudy as a character in the other books but you really get to see her tick in this story and Ben adds the chemistry of passion and love for her in the best possible way. I also love the way Trudy truly cares about the dead, always wanting to help with the narrative and story of how they ended up where they did which means at times she wears her heart on her sleeve.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and hopefully more to comes.

This book started off hilarious. I loved knowing everything that Fenimore (Fenny or Simon if you prefer) is thinking down to his most intimate or silly thoughts. It really gives the reader a better idea of the main character, which is always great. The one thing I have to say about so much detail though, is that I wish the non important information was left out. There is so much detail that I felt like I had to weed through what information I needed for the plot and what information I did not need.
I also feel like with so much information, it could have been separated into smaller chapters. There was also confusion when the author used the first and last name interchangeably. When they were talking about Monty Parker, but instead of saying Monty, Parker was used to reference the character, I had to go back and re-read multiple times.
HOWEVER, this book has everything. It is historical fiction, mixed with LGBTQ+ romance, along with a mystery/thriller. I highly recommend to anyone looking to find a new, different book. I loved the characters, especially Simon and Monty. They are great characters with amazing personalities. Even though they are part of a gang, they are so kind and gentle as you get to know them. You will not regret picking this book up.

This was a fantastic start to this series with a great mix of characters and an interesting storyline. Some characters I loved, some I wanted to reach through my I pad screen and forrid slap them and others I just plain thought were selfish brats who I hated. I think the fact that these characters brought out these emotions in me shows what a wonderful author Ms Hart is! She really brought the pack to life for me. So much so that as soon as I finished reading this book I brought the next two! I can’t wait to get reading!!

This was an amazing book! I loved that you never know what to expect, there are so many surprises on every page, and it was exciting. I love that the characters are so dynamic, and each has their own uniqueness about them. I loved getting to know Jasmine, and seeing how completely opposite her best friend, Lucy, is from her. Jasmine is our main character who begins this story as the werewolf who lives her life as close to the rules set by her parents, as she possibly can, following strict religious beliefs that had been taught her whole life until she meets the soon-to-be alpha werewolf, Blake. He is your typical bad boy, conceited, lady’s man, party boy who isn’t used to being told no by anyone, especially the ladies. This makes the chase for Jasmine’s attention a challenge he’s excited to take on. Luke, who is Lucy’s attractive boyfriend at the beginning of the story, also happens to be someone that Jasmine has a major crush on. Once Lucy turns of age for the mate bond to take effect, she is sorely disappointed that Luke is not her mate. Luke also happens to be Blake’s soon-to-be beta. What happens when Luke finds his mate, will he be able to give up on his love for Lucy to follow the mate bond, or will he be willing to reject his mate and stay with the woman he loves, Lucy? Will Blake be able to seduce Jasmine into a relationship based more on friendship, if so, what happens when she finds her own mate? There are a lot of circumstances that are hard to take within this book, but it all helps to build up the character’s personalities, as well as the depth of their feelings. I was so happy to find out that there are 2 more books in this series because you do end on a cliffhanger, which leaves you wanting more. This is the first book that I have read from these authors and now they have a new fan. I love a good sports romance but this story exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book in a series that I’m going to be reading in the future. You will fall in love with these characters right from the start. The story kept my attention the whole way through. It only took me a few hours to devour this amazing story.
Olivia is loving her life until she finds out that her ex husband is getting married. Her daughter is begging her to come with her to the destination wedding. Olivia can’t tell her daughter no so she decides to go. All she needs is a date and her daughter has just the man for the job, Roman. Wolfbane (Wolfbane Series Book 1) by Celia Hart. This is such a great werewolf, shape shifter, romance. It’s the story of Jasmine who is a good college girl and she has saved herself for her fated mate. When she meets Blake who is mourning the loss of his mate sparks fly and she is more than tempted to give up on saving herself. She finally figures out who her mate is and its Luke, her best friends boyfriend. Not a good combination. Blake is the soon to be Alpha and Jasmine loves spending time with him and they vow to always be friends even if they don’t end up together. Lucy is her best friend and Luke’s girlfriend. Lucy is not the best friend, she is always leading Jasmine into bad situations and I had a hard time liking her. Will Jasmine end up with Luke staying true to her fate and ruin her friendship with Lucy or will she stay follow her heart and give Blake a chance? Such a fast paced love triangle.

This story is raw and emotional but so beautifully written…..this story at times just gutted me to my core. This story is a blend of love, loss, forgiveness, secrets, trying to hold on but have to let go with some twists I definitely did not see coming. I cannot stop thinking about this story of Adam and Hope……
Adam and Hope meet on a chance encounter….never thinking they would meet again. When Adam suffers an unimaginable loss, he slowly spirals downward. Hope and Adam meet again hence another chance encounter, this time it is not so kind. Grief consumes Adam until Hope brings him back to life with her kindness and friendship…until it becomes more. When blurred lines are crossed and secrets are revealed will Adam and Hope’s love survive….
I highly recommend reading this book….it is hard not to give anything away…..but you will not be disappointed. Grab some tissues….this is a fantastic read.

This book was a good quick read. It was written from two different characters’ perspectives and goes back and forth from the present to when those two characters meet. There are things you won’t like about each character in this book. I was not a fan of Dee and was rooting for Layla even though at times she frustrated me. Tang was in a class all her own. Which just makes it even more realistic in my opinion and the characters more believable. I was not expecting the ending at all and just when I thought there were no more plot twist there was another. This was definitely a good first read by this author and I will be looking into more books by them. If you are looking for a quick interesting read with great twists give this one a try!
