What a great suspense filled love triangle this book is! This book was hard not to finish in one sitting. I needed to know what was coming next!

Jasmine is the first girl that Blake has felt comfortable with since his mate passed away. Blake makes Jasmine want to take risks and start exploring some physical aspects she has never done before.
Then along came Jasmine’s fated mate, Luke, who is her bestfriends boyfriend. Which makes things so much more complicated. Once her best friend, Lucy, finds out, she throws a tantrum and turns against Jasmine. Luke doesn’t know what to do and has no backbone when it comes to Lucy. Even though Luke is not Lucy’s fated mate, she vowed to never lose him and will do anything to keep him. Everyone all of a sudden has a choice to make. The obvious choices are no longer that obvious as time goes on.
I liked Jasmine and Blake and found myself rooting for them even though they were not fated mates. I disliked Luke and hated Lucy. Lucy was a crappy friend. She constantly tried to get Jasmine to do things she didn’t want to do and called her a prude when she disagreed with her. All in all Lucy was just a crappy and selfish person in general.
The characters themselves didn’t seem to have much depth to them in my opinion. I feel like the author was just trying to hit as many tropes as possible. I am hoping as the series continues, the characters will become more personable.

The Man in Black by L.R. Liverpool tells the story of Fenimore James. Young and naïve, Fenimore leaves home to pursue his life goal of becoming a real outlaw. First, he must choose a new identity, and he successfully becomes Simon Shaw. Being an outlaw takes a dangerous turn when Shaw joins the Red Evans gang because they start getting murdered one at a time. Despite the circumstances, Shaw falls dangerously in love. Nothing about being an outlaw or love is as easy it it seems. Part one is extremely detailed and slower going to setup everything else that happens in the book. Part two really picks up the pace and suspense.
Liverpool’s character development is leaves out no detail and the world building leaves no stone unturned.

This is such a heartwarming Christmas story. It is amazingly well written with characters that know how to hit you right in the feels. This is a fantastic story that takes place in a small town. It features Riley, who is a photographer who is living in Seattle but whose whole family has moved to Montana. She heads there to photograph a wedding where she meets the bride’s brother and feels sparks fly. This is the third book in the series and it is the third that I have read. I definitely enjoyed seeing Riley’s story happen in this book. I felt that this story was perhaps the best in the series I’ve read so far. Which is saying something because I truly loved the first two. I definitely recommend picking up this one – its a good romance but it will also begin to put you in the Christmas Spirit.

This was a gripping love at first sight romance with plenty of drama and suspense which kept me hooked throughout. Former priest turned street lawyer for the homeless of Milwaukee and apparent bad boy Connor, literally bumps into self-proclaimed good girl Jessica in a wine bar. Following a passionate night together Jess is skeptical of Con’s intentions, but over the next few days he manages to charm her and she starts to believe it could be real love. However, unexpectedly Con dose not show up for their first real date and Jess thinks she’s been ghosted and is devastated. Jess then realises that Con is a actually missing but the police will not help as there is no proof he’s been harmed, and he’s not a vulnerable adult. Convinced that he’s in danger Jess enlists her friends to help find him and eventually Con is found but he’s dangerously injured and in a coma. Sadly their promising relationship may be over much too soon. This was a fairly short story but it took me on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading it. The intriguing storyline flows well and the plot twists kept the suspense high, whilst the characters and the setting came to life making me feel fully immersed in the story. The chemistry between Jess and Con sizzled off the page and I loved their developing relationship, and was hoping they would both get their HEA. An enjoyable, entertaining and engaging read and one which I recommend reading.

The Men of Eden Cove by Naomi Valkyrie is a paranormal romance story. We follow Lucifer, a young man who is intrigued by the rumors regarding the men who live in the haunted manor in Eden Cove. Lucifer is a little bit reckless but loving to Ren and it made me love him despite his recklessness. I loved the friendship between Ren and Luci. I also loved how the story developed between Lucifer and Mordecai. We also get a bit of intrigue and mystery surrounding the men of the manor. I feel like on all sides this story was really about friendship and the things we do for love. I found this to be a very cute and fun story. I chuckled quite a bit. The story is a quick read with some good dashes of paranormal and M/M.

This is the first book that I have read from Naomi Valkyrie and it will not be my last. I was pleasantly surprised to find this book ticked a lot of my favourite genre. It is the story of a curious individual named Eiren otherwise known as Lucifer and is told in two points of view the other main character is the mysterious Mordecai . This is not your average paranormal novel in the respect that is is the forming of male/male sexual relationships. In my opinion this book ended as it was just getting started and I would have liked it to be a longer read with more sex scenes, but overall it was an entertaining quick read.

The first thing I can say about this story is…..NOOO! That can’t be the end? I want more… This series is Fantastic. Even with the ups and downs. Winter is trying to start over. Her childhood was not pretty, she fought her way out. Shane has his secrets and tries to keep them hidden. The biggest lie is that he remembers being bullied by the one girl who made his life miserable. Now adults and going to college, their fight is even bigger. This author is such a great writer. She writes stories the keep you wanting so much more. The story is fast paced and will keep you turning pages, but so worth the sleepless night. I really liked this book. However I was unaware that there were 6 in the series prior to reading. I did get lost in the details of who was who and where things were happening. Despite that I really loved the relationship between Celestina and Frank, how they grew together throughout and eventually came together in the end. Hopefully I will be able to read the rest of the series in the future and connect the dots.

If you like holiday reads with a little angst mixed in, this is a great book. It’s a slow build, but once things start to move, it really picks up. The author does a good job of keeping you hooked by dropping bits of the situation with Austin’s family throughout the first half of the story, so you want to keep going to find out just what the situation is there. And once you do… oh the feels.
Being an ADHDer myself, there were many moments I related to Elijah’s struggles. And I loved that the author didn’t shove all that under the rug as the relationship developed. Both people recognized they still had things to work through to make the relationship all it could be, but they were willing to try.

This is the eighth book in this series and it just gets better an better with each book written, this book follows the Master Sardinia and Madria. When the rogues and shifters descend on the Island of Master Sardinia he is determined to protect what he and his other Masters have achieved, but when Madria is put in danger the only thing he can do to save her is change her.
Madria has the sight but she has always thought this a curse but when she sees something which disturbs her she has to right the wrong, but knowing she has always had a dislike to Master Sardinia when there worlds collide her whole world turns on its access.
Can they survive the rogues, Shifters and witches and themselves?
The only regret I have with these books are I read them too fast, as always there is action, drama and thrilling twists and turns which adds to the thrilling fast pace of the book. The worlds in which you create are so brilliant and draw you in from the first word printed on the page.
As with all the other books you have captured the feel of these character brilliantly and although this is normally a genre I read every new book has me itching to see what new adventure and rogues, shifters and witches this Mafia gang of vampires can rid the kingdoms of, although there are four more books in this series left I think at the end I will be sad to leave these sexy vampires and there mates.
Thank you for introducing me to a genre I would not have ventured but now love.

The night Hadley jumped on Steve’s motor bike and left Ross and his mother was the hardest thing Hadley had ever done. Knowing deep down her heart was with Ross, she thought she could eventually love Steve. When Steve upgrades from petty theft to prospecting for an outlaw Motorcycle gang her world descended into the evil horrors. Her only salvation is getting her daughter out of this horrendous situation and her angel is Ross.
Ross arrives and sees the abuse that his brother has physically inflected on Hadley but not aware of the sexual abuse he decides to recuse both of them and hopefully he can follow his heart and hopefully ,make a home with Hadley and Lacey, the only thorn in the side is if his brother follows them and decides he wants her back but at the moment Ross would gladly teach his brother some manners.
I have read the other books in this series and this one does not disappoint. I love the forbidden love aspect between Ross and Hadley and it smoulders on the page, with his Alpha dominance which was there is part but his softness towards Hadley was lovely to read. My lord, I love the way Hadley was strong and still independent after what had happened to her and that she was not going to let it beat her which was brilliant to read.
This book does have triggers of Drug abuse, Sexual and Physical abuse but the way the author has written it adds a shock value and lets you know what has contributed to this strong female character and her journey but is not shocking enough for to you not read. As always the characters are well developed and enhances the story and can’t wait to read more.

Phaedron is a man who has been through a lot, as a child he was sent to the Land Below with his mother, but it was to escape something worse than death, but that is when his challenges began and his losses, but he trudges on and tries to achieve his dreams, but this is not to be and when he loses his arm and then his brother.
Phaedron hatches a plan to go to the Kingdom of Summer and steal away a magician who will be able to help him rescue his brother, however, when he steps through the portal, it doesn’t go quite as expected. When the night comes that Alindra has prepared for, she is checking that she has got everything she needs when suddenly a portal opens in her tiny room and a man step through it, so when he asks her to go with him back through the portal, she is shocked, but she agrees. This is where every plan both have made shatters when the portal closes behind them, neither of them can believe what just happened, but Alindra immediately goes back to her plan A and hustles Phaedron out of her room and to another escape route promising that she will meet him the next day.
This is where the challenges soon begin again, as both travel to their last resort way to get away, this is where Phaedron explains about why he needs her to go with him, who has imprisoned his brother and where, he also asks Alindra why she wants to get away, so as they both lay out their truth, can they learn to trust each other enough to complete their missions, or will there be more challenges along the way and can they really trust each other, knowing they are on different sides of the same war? This is an adventure across kingdoms where opposites must work together, magic is everywhere and trust is hard to find, not to mention attraction and forbidden feelings, it is a heady mix you will not want to miss out on.
Heart’s Escape is Book #3, and the fourth and final instalment in the Fallen Hearts series by Meredith Hart. As with the other books in the series this is a captivating romantic fantasy- with an enemies to lovers theme, action, adventure, magic, danger, drama, desperation, chemistry, spice, challenges/obstacles, emotion, mystery, secrets, tension, intrigue, superb world-building, interesting characters, layers, banter, violence, a quest, and finding love unexpectedly. This is Phaedron and Alindra’s story, which sees two ‘enemies’ joining forces out of desperation, and perhaps a little a touch of fate. We met Phaedron previously, as he is Rowan’s brother (Heart’s Rescue – Book #1). Desperate times call for desperate measures, and both Phaedron and Alindra have their own reasons for wanting to join forces. But trusting each other is a whole different story. Right? What unfolds makes for a captivating story of finding love in the throes of an adventure. As I have come to expect from Ms. Hart, this is a richly detailed story with wonderful scene-setting which helped to bring her world, characters, and story, to life. I was pulled into the story from the very beginning, easily connecting to and investing in the characters and the outcome of the story. This was a bit of a bitter-sweet read for me, knowing it was the final in the series- but also needing to know how it all played out in the end. I wonder what Ms. Hart has in store for us next? This book definitely keeps you on your toes. Saint Con is a street lawyer who is a converted priest. The storyline flowed seamlessly from start to finish. You will love this book just as much as I do with the twists, turns, suspense, mystery, romance, and so much heart, you will not be able to resist. I recommend this book.

What another incredible book. I do have to say somehow, I missed book 2 so I will be going back to that but with that being said you can read these books on their own and still understand what is going on and not get lost or feel confused. The story is very well written that as your reading its almost like there is a painting going on in your head and you can see the world this story has to offer. The two characters especially Alindra and Phaedron, are in a whirl wind of stuff and it kicks off with hem right away on the run. Phaedron this time has a bit almost bigger role in this book, and we see things we are shown things from his side of the story. this book was both filled with romance, twists and turns, fantasy, paranormal, fantasy, and was well worth reading, even with missing the book in the middle.
This book is another great addition to an authors growing list of books I couldn’t/ didn’t want to put down. The writing was fantastic and I enjoyed this story alot because it felt unique and I liked the main characters and their development over the whole of the book. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!
This is the third and final book in the Fallen Hearts series by Meredith Hart. There are some things I really liked about this book and others that just fell a little flat – overall though, it is a good book and a good ending to the series.
Just like the other books, this one is written in dual POV. The two main characters are Alindra and Phaedron. Both who have felt extreme pain and wish to escape their reality. It was one major complication after another, and I felt horrible for both of them. Alindra is on the run, and the only place she can go where they may not find her is the Lands Below. Her and Phaedron’s adventure starts quiet literally with a portal opening.
We are introduced in Phaedron in the other books, but this is the first time he is front and center, and you really get to know him better and on a deeper level. There are some other characters that you see that also cross over from the other books, which i enjoyed.
Meredith Hart’s world building skills are amazing, and I can submerge myself into the world easily. If you enjoy romance with a little magic and adventure this is the story and series for you. The way the series wrapped up was done nicely. I definitely recommend reading this book, and series.
Frank (Dingo) is on a ride with Celee when they encounter danger and a puppy that Celee is determined to rescue. As they get close they both find each other turning to one another but can they learn to lean on one another and explore what is building between them?
I liked this, the story drops and you are in the mix from the get go. I think reading in sequence of series would definitely help. I really enjoyed this couple and liked that Frank is so in tune with Celee, they have a few bumps but the way the club gathered to help her was wonderful. Interesting characters that make you compelled to read more in the series.

After reading the Code of Honor Books by this author I couldn’t wait to jump into another series by her 🥰. I just had to read these. I love reading supernatural books, especially shifters’ stories. This might be the first time reading one where the main shifter was a mountain lion, and I quite enjoyed it. Just like the other Brooke May wrote, this one kept me engaged til the very end. It was well written with a unique take on the mating bond. I couldn’t help loving the mated pair Lane and Cheyenne. Even though they both have personal stuff to get over, I think the fates got it right putting those two together. I can’t wait to read the next book of this series to escape to this amazing world again 🥰
Wooot Wooot back again!! This is the second book of the Long Claw Pride and I could not wait to devour it 😀 and I felt like I finished this in a snap. It was sooo goood but I wouldn’t expect anything less from this brilliant author. I was so happy to go back into this shifter realm, even if it was just for a short while. But Omg even though I loved the first one, Trigger and Laramie are my favorite ones so far. This book has literally everything you’d want in a paranormal read but so much more! The characters the author build will have you loving and disliking them (Cough cough enter said characters name here😂) and With a twist that even i didn’t see coming 🤫. I absolutely cannot wait to see what Brooke May has in store for us next. I’m counting the days!!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. It’s fun, exciting and a page turner. Lucifer is such a sarcastic and sassy guy but he has a good heart. The men at Eden cove manor are dangerous and invoke fear in everyone but deep down they are romantics. Couldn’t have asked for a better ending.

Wow!!!! This is my favorite in the series so far!!!!
When I finished reading the prior book in the series, I thought I knew what this book would involve, but boy did Isla Vaughn throw me for a loop. I had no way of knowing what she had in store for me!!! I LOVED IT!!!
Shane has been an enigma for me since the beginning of this series! He has been a bit secretive, so I never really thought I knew who he was. To say he is complicated would be a huge understatement. He has actually become my favorite character in the series, and I feel like there is so much more I will come to discover about him. In the previous books, he has come across as extremely confident, but Vaughn showed me that he had to work hard to overcome some serious insecurities that our other main character, Winter, helped instill in him.
Like Shane, Winter, is a very complex, complicated character as well. To see Winter through Shane’s eyes, would make a person pretty much hate her. Thankfully, Vaughn gives Winter her own voice that allows readers to see her in a completely different light. I didn’t excuse her treatment of Shane, but she was just a child from a very toxic family. I was happy to see that she now had a family who loved her and supported her.
While this is a revenge, bully romance, it is SO MUCH MORE!!!! It is also suspenseful and full of twists. And, as usual, Vaughn leaves us with a HUGE cliffhanger. She outdid herself again…I will anxiously be awaiting what happens next for Shane and Winter!!!

Heart’s Escape by Meredith Hart is the 3rd book in a series of standalone crossovers called the Fallen Hearts Series. I would like to start by saying I have not read the other books in the series but was able to easily enjoy the story. I will be going back and reading the others at some point though because this one was a very fun read. The story follows Alindra a Magician from the Kingdom of Summer and Phaerdron who is from the Kingdom of Fall. This is a slow burn Enemies to Lovers and I was so hear for it. Alindra is desperate to escape the Kingdom of Summer and find her sister in the Lands Below. Phaedron shows up from a portal in her room desperate for her help to find his lost brother. If you like Fantasy with love and a dash of spice this is one for you. 4 out of 5 Stars.

This fantastic read is the next step in this wonderful series and it features around Laramie and Trigger. While the mating call hits them and draws them together its the underhanded actions of Leonard who I just knew was a total snake in the grass right from the start, that kept me completely intrigued. I was NOT so patiently waiting for Trigger to work out Leonards true intentions and now I can’t wait for more of the story. I simply have to know what’s next! This amazing and some what crazy family and town have weaved into my heart for sure.

Cheyenne and Lane were drawn together by the mating call but they definitely go beyond that to form an amazing bond. This is the first book in what I know is going to be a fantastic series. The talented author has created wonderful characters and an intriguing storyline that draws you into their world so effortlessly. I am really looking forward to seeing what’s next for everyone not just Cheyenne and Lane but the whole family!

What an amazing read. I absolutely loved every single minute of this book and what a writing duo these two are! This has got to be one of the best books that I have read this year. I loved everything about it. Olivia was just amazing – she was such a relatable and likeable character – I honestly adored her! I definitely want to be like Olivia! I could go on for ages about how wonderful this book is but I really don’t want to give away any spoilers but it really was just a wonderful read, light-hearted and real from beginning to end! I definitely recommend that you grab a copy today!

This is the third book in the Fallen Hearts series. This book can technically be read without reading the first two books, but this may initially cause some confusion. I would highly recommend reading the first two books in the series before this one to better understand the story and character background. The author’s descriptive writing paints vivid imagery of both the characters and scenery allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world they have created. The detail and characters really bring the story to life. The characters feel realistic and I love good character growth and development and this book certainly has that. I loved how the relationship between Phaedron and Alindras developed and the pace it progressed worked so well for them and the story (even if there were moments of frustration from me wanting them to open their eyes occasionally). I got very emotionally invested in the character and rooting for them from the start. I’ve been really enjoying this series, and I would recommend it to fellow paranormal fantasy romance fans!
A fantastic paranormal fantasy tale. This is the third book in the series. The adventure continues on with the oldest sister. I found it to be quite exciting and a journey of a lifetime. There was a little of everything in the story. It’s a story that is definitely worth reading.
