I absolutely loved this book! Heart’s Escape is definitely worth a read if you love ACOTAR. I love how the author has given the fae world a completely unique perspective. I really could not put the book down. The world building was incredible, the characters were lovable or hatable, depending on who they were! Read this- you won’t regret it!

I absolutely love period pieces so I was looking forward to this one! It is also my first book by Wareeze Woodson, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The world building is really good, the characters are relatable and I do love how the main character, Vanessa, has so much more sass than most authors give ladies of the time! I really could feel her frustrations and could not imagine living in such a time. Without giving too much away, the author does an amazing job of making you feel empathy for the lovable characters, while also intense annoyance bordering loathing for the “villains”! It moved fast throughout and i was captivated the entire time. Some twists that I definitely did not see coming and wrapped up in a believable ending. Very good read!

This book was a very interesting read. I enjoyed the thriller aspect of this book. I like the suspense and trying to figure out what is going to happen next.
This book will keep you engaged and wanting to know more. This book deals with a lot of different problems that arise. Simon deals with a lot of different problems that many people go through but are not very vocal about. Although, not many people decide that they want to join a gang and be a part of that world.
Has twists and makes you want to read more. Can someone close to you do such horrific things? If you were next to a murder would you know it? Is it normal to question your sexuality? Can two men truly be happy together? Read this book to find out.

I absolutely love this series! Master Sardinia is forced to turn Madria after she is attacked by the shifters. She has strong psychic powers and a necklace that could win this battle for the vampires. The history that Madria’s family has with vampires isn’t all that great so we can safely say she wasn’t too thrilled to be changed. There is of course a lot of action as they get closer to finding the rogues that want the vampires out of power. The magnetic attraction of these two, as well as the others when they found their mates, is great to watch unfold. These stories are well written and engage the reader from page one. While any one of these can be read as a standalone I highly suggest reading from book one. I am eagerly anticipating the next installment.

This is a historical romance (one of my favourite genres) with an twist adding more genres which I absolutely adored! The combination of historical romance, mystery and paranormal was brilliant.
The author’s writing flowed nicely and the way it was written, from the descriptions to the narrative, did an excellent job of setting the scenes and allowing the reader to become immersed in the era and story. I enjoyed the storyline and the internal conflicts some of the characters faced. They felt believable and came across as relatable.
My favourite character was Vanessa. She wasn’t demure in the way is expected of the time. She knows what she wants and acts as she decides. I did like Jacob as well, I thought they were good together, but Vanessa stole my attention from the start.
A great read to have taken on holiday with me, I didn’t want to emerge from the book at all. I will be looking for more from this author, I’m now obsessed!
Master Sardinia by Sylvia Black

Things are heating up and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Master Sardinia and Madra have their hands full when the shifters are after the stone. When the truth comes out about Madra’s ancestors will Master Sardinia be left by the side of the road so to speak. Can Madra see past her hatred of the vampires to help?
Master Descallia and Lucianna and the group are always a step or two or three behind. If Madra decides to help that might just come to an end.
Excellent addition to the Master series.

This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up. An author that uses details to bring her stories to life. This one is no different. This is a shorter story but it packs a punch. A well written story that I read in one night, it was that awesome. This is a story about secrets and what happens when they are let out. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world and kept me engaged to the end. They are connectable, creative, and strong characters that add so much to the story. An easy and entertaining story to read that has a realistic feeling. There is great growth throughout the plot and the characters. This is a must read story and one you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.

This book is part of a series that I have enjoyed reading. I enjoy this author’s writing skills which bring life to her stories. The use of details makes the story realistic. This book is no different. It is an enemies to lovers story that you don’t want to miss. A story where trusting, romance, and magic may not be what you are looking for but what finds you.. This is a well written story that is told in both sides of the characters. We get to see inside of both characters which just made the story harder to put down. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into their world with ease and kept me there until the end. They are connectable, creative and relatable characters that add to the story’s entertainment value. They have great growth as well as great chemistry throughout. This is a fast paced story that I enjoyed reading. I highly recommend this book.

Arriving Home by Chelsea Lauren

Arriving Home by Chelsea Lauren is the first book of the Lake Juniper Series. The story follows Eli, a writer, and Austin, a chef. Eli goes on a writer’s retreat and meets Austin. There is mutual attraction which leads to them ending up in a fake dating situation. I really liked this story. I really connected with Eli and adored Austin from the start. The characters had great chemistry. The characters are both complex and completely loveable. I feel that the theme of abuse was handled well and was very realistic. I’m not really sure that we needed the fake dating trope because there was plenty there to give the characters a good struggle. Nevertheless, it was fun to watch these two together. There was a nice winter/holiday backdrop that made me feel content. This is a really good story.

As soon as I saw a new book by this author I knew I had to read it straight away. This book is absolutely fantastic, and everything I have come to expect from this author. I loved this story. There is so much going on and the book could have been twice as long. I thought it was a well written and exciting book, which I could not put down.
The characters we’re perfect for it too. The whole cast were brilliant but the main two were the best to focus on. I connected with them so easily and loved everything about then. This author has very quickly become one of my favourites and I would urge everyone to read their books. A fantastic read and I cannot wait for whatever this author does next.

The Men of Eden Cove Manor by Naomi Valkyrie is a unique and intriguing tale that will keep readers on the edge of their seats. The author does an excellent job of bringing her characters to life and creating a world that is both mysterious and alluring.
Lucifer is a fun, spirited character who is determined to uncover the secrets of Eden Cove Manor. His bravery and determination make him an admirable protagonist, and readers will find it easy to connect with him.
Mordecai, on the other hand, is a complex and brooding character whose motives are not always clear. He is the perfect foil for Lucifer, and the two characters have excellent chemistry throughout the book.
The book’s pacing is excellent, and the story builds up to an exciting climax that will have readers holding their breath. The writing is engaging and easy to follow, making it a quick and enjoyable read.
Overall, The Men of Eden Cove Manor is a great read that combines romance, suspense, and mystery to create a captivating story. The characters are well-developed, and the plot is intriguing, making it a must-read for fans of the genre. Highly recommended.
Fractured Hearts-Prospect by D.M. Earl

This is a nice addition to the series. The beginning confused me a little since I didn’t know why the couple was on the run already. It worked itself out but was a few chapters into the story. I enjoyed getting to know Dingo since he hasn’t been a huge character in past books. His lady was a surprise but worked out well. They have had difficult pasts they are working in overcoming.
It is nice to see past characters and a few from the authors other series. I lije seeing where they are now and what is going on in their life. Emmie and Brick surprised me the most even though they had a small part in here. The other three (I wont mention their names) always add a different element to the story.
Overall this is a good solid seventh book in the series. There are some changes and growth to the story and characters. Oh and beware…This one does have a gruesome factor near the end with a couple characters showing off their work.

After reading Rowan and Arryn’s story and meeting Rowan’s brother Phaedron, I was hoping to get a book for him. Alindra has been through a lot, being a magician in the Kingdom of the Summer, a life altering secret and an escape plan foiled by Phaedron showing up in her room. Phaedron while searching for his brother stumbles upon Alindra and she agrees to help him find Rowan if he helps her flee her kingdom. Along the way Phaedron drove me absolutely nuts. I could tell Alindra really fell for Phaedron, but he was too stuck in his own insecurities about his arm that he couldn’t look at the woman who saw him for who he was. Rowan in this book really goes through the ringer, I am so sad to learn of his role in bridging the kingdoms, and how he was used by his own father. Even with an appearance altering injury he was still upbeat and fun loving. This has been such a wonderful series, very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed Celee and Dingo’s story. Earl really continues to keep you drawn into the world ahead had created for this series. This was the 2nd book of the seven from the series I have read, as they can be read as stand alones, but I plan to go back and read the read because there is back story that is referenced/ implied to from the previous I think would just make the story that much better. I would recommend this book.

Saint Con by Seelie Kay. This is such a good romantic suspense read. I love this author and this genre so it was right up my alley. Its the story of Jessica a corporate attorney and Con a former priest turned street lawyer who tries to help the homeless. When Jessica runs into Con at a wine bar she instantly dislikes him. He’s rude and not friendly at all but there’s something about him that intrigues her. Con is smitten with Jessica and he finally wears her down. Their relationship is moving pretty fast when Con goes missing. Jessica had devoted her life to her job and was very rigid in life but Con had changed all that and now she will do whatever it takes to find him. This is a quick read and a great romantic suspense!

Oh my gosh this book was so good!!! So good that I went right away and ordered book two and three as soon as I finished it! Yes, it was that good!! I love the whole take on the werewolf mate bond in this book. It was a nice twist and I can not wait to see what happens next with all these characters! Jasmine is a good girl. She follows all the rules. She goes to temple. She doesn’t date. She gets straight A’s. She trains more than most. And she is just overall a well rounded good person. Well that all goes flying out the window when she finally meets her mate. Unfortunately, he’s already been with someone else and because of that her whole life is falling apart. Not all wolves follow the strict rules like Jasmine was. She was brought up to save herself in EVERY way for her mate. Blake is the soon to be alpha of the pack. His mate was taken from him before he even had the chance to mark her. It almost killed him to lose her. He’s not the same person at all. Leaving for a few years helped, but now he is back and after meeting a shy quirky girl his world is tipped on it’s axes. His common sense flew out the window. Self-control melted away and who knows where his discipline went!! He can’t help but like her, but she is destined to be matted to someone else and he can’t mess with that gift for the Goddess. Luke messed up. And I mean, big time!! He keeps trying to right all his wrongs, but he just can’t seem to get anything right. He betrayed his mate in HUGE ways. Trying to clean it up just made it worse and worse and worse. What will he do with his life now? The shambled mess that it is! War is coming to their pack and these three must prepare as much as they can, but how do you do that when your world is flipped upside down and sideways? Death is in the air from this 5 year war, and the other clan just won’t give up on seeking their revenge. You HAVE to read this book!!!!!! A historical romance with a paranormal twist. Of course, I am a big fan of attention to historical detail to transport me to another time and place, which the author certainly delivers in spades. But I was also pleasantly surprised by the fast pace of the plot and the suspense of the novel overall. The drama and the mystery of the novel made this a page-turner for me. Whether or not you’re a fan of historical fiction, I’d definitely recommend this.

Arriving Home by Chelsea Lauren

Arriving Home is a New Adult MM romance tale. This is the second book I have read by Chelsea, and it pulled on my heartstrings.
The Evergreen family where a little cooky, a lot loud, brash, and definitely an eclectic bunch that are in your face, but you can’t help but like them. Sounds a bit like my family. But it is not all sunshine and roses in this story as both characters are complex with lots of flaws and pain and have a lot of issues but Eli by far has so much to unpack before he should even think of a relationship thanks to the cruelty of his previous relationship. It makes my heart ache for what he went through and there is definitely a lot of angst.
The story does contain some sensitive topics such as abuse that may be a trigger for some readers. There is pain, suffering, longing, wants, denial, fear and much more. We see inner struggles and journey along as they work through the demons and hopefully find love.
I like Chelsea’s writing style and I wanted a little more in the end, but the story felt like there was more too be said before it ended, and I needed a few questions answered but it just kind of stopped.
Any way I look forward to what Chelsea gives us next.
As I said about Underneath The Whiskey this book will not be for everyone, but I encourage you to give it a go.

What an intriguingly interesting romance. Two complicated people coming together in a beautiful winter romance. Elijah and Austin have a lot to overcome. It was a journey that I wasn’t sure I wanted to take but I am glad I did. These two had quite the adventure and they were a pair to watch as they grew in their relationship. It’s a unique romance that I’m glad I read. Go ahead and take a chance, you will enjoy this too.

Never one to shy away from any topic Naomi brings us another wonderful M/M paranormal tale. I have read everything Naomi has written and I have fallen in love with the characters and their stories and this one is just the same. I love that this story is different and unique, interesting and fun, I loved it.
I love the way it is told in dual POV’s of two characters even though there are more characters, as it is the perfect way to get a true feel for the characters and who they are. They are complex and well developed fully realised individuals with their own flaws, quirks and personalities. As usual I was blown away by Naomi’s unique narrative that brought the characters and their world to life.
The Men of Eden Cove Manor is quick read, but a captivating tale and I wished it was longer. There is drama, mystery, secrets, banter, a centuries old puzzle and much more. There are more than a few surprises, and twisty turns as well as sizzling chemistry in this M/M romance as we unlock the layers and mystery of Eden Cove Manor.
I am not going to tell you anything about this story other than it is a must to be picked up and enjoyed because as Naomi says –
The men of Eden Cove Manor have a secret, and it’s about to be discovered. And what a discovery it is.

These two keep crossing paths and this time it happens to be in Texas. Both are there on business, but things take a turn when Kiera is kidnapped and is on the verge of going missing forever. She doesn’t know it but Forrest would do anything for her. He shows up in the nick of time but danger is still lurking around the corner. Will they be able to thwart it and be happy? I have enjoyed this series since book one. Every book has had a unique perspective pertaining to the main character particular talents and they have been enjoyable. In The Inquistor we got to see Kiera and Forrest go from being friends to more organically. No insta love here, not that there is anything wrong with that of course. All of these books have been well written and they don’t have to be read in order to understand anything that is happening, although I do highly recommend doing so. Bravo to the author on another amazing book in the WaterFyre Rising series. I can’t wait to read the next installment.

Faking the Fall by Libby Kay

I have read all the other books in this series and really enjoyed them. Faking the Fall came at the right time and had such a perfect, lovely fall themed cover that I just needed to scoop it up and start it right away. Each of the books in this series remind me of the movies that are shown on the Hallmark channel. A small town romance, fake dating, a man to aid Alice in making her parents believe she is doing better, and James, a struggling artist, who has found his muse in Alice. I really like how endearing these characters are and how they pull you into their story. You experience their setbacks, melancholy, and humor, happiness, and drama, but you wouldn’t want it any other way because your probably already attached to these characters. Sweet, clean, and fun these romances are good for most ages.

Libby Kay is a brand new to me author. It seems her genre are warm, cozy, comforting, holiday romance stories that are incredibly feel good books that take place in Buckeye Falls, Ohio. Falling Home is a second chance romance between Ginny and her ex-husband Max. It was a throughly enchanting read that due to its size was so easy for me to devour, very quickly. I’m actually looking forward to reading the rest of her backlog of books!
