What a wonderful romance. I loved the chemistry of these two. It was a slo-burn. It was an easy story to engage with. The characters were relatable. I found the story quite detailed and entertaining. I find this author’s historical romances are entertaining and easy to read. They pull you in and you enjoy the reading. Another winner for this author.

I enjoy complex characters and uncovering their layers. Love definitely gave me that in Brian and Amanda, but especially Brian. Let’s start with Amanda…she was lovely. She was gorgeous, but it was her soul that resonated with me. She was determined and made her dreams a reality, but she was loyal and loving…and she stuck by Brian when any other woman would have left him in the rearview mirror! There wasn’t anything I disliked about Amanda at all!!!
On the other hand, Brian elicited a great deal of complicated feelings for me. I loved him, but oh my gosh, I wanted to kill him at times, especially when he was so cruel to Amanda. I was like her brother, I wanted to punch him in the face!!!!! Yet, I loved him because I knew he was just reacting because of grief and fear. Thankfully, he redeemed himself in the end.
Not only were the characters engaging but so was the storyline. I liked the fact that Love extended it over six years. It really gave Brian and Amanda a great foundation, rooted in friendship. She also knows how to really pull at readers’ emotions, and I can never resist a book that tugs at my heart.
This is the first book I have read by Marlyn Love, and I’m so ecstatic that I found her. If you are looking for a book that tugs at your heartstrings and breaks your heart somewhat but finally gives you an epic HEA, don’t miss out on this one! Download it or buy a copy TODAY!!!

Ugh, Hope and Adam are sickly sweet. I loved them together even when I didn’t want to. I was shocked in the beginning with Ivory, I thought she disliked Adam was going to a horrid girlfriend. Obviously I was wrong, I loved the twist with her in the end. I can support her stalking. I do feel things with Adam and Hope happened a little too quickly, I know you can’t decide when you fall in love but a few more months of him grieving would have made me feel a little better. I like that Ivory wasn’t just pushed to the side in the story. It makes things more believable and I like that they were both connected to her in some way. Definitely recommend to readers looking for a fast paced romance.

On this fateful evening, both Lynette and Riley end up at the same bonfire and sparks fly over the beer keg as soon as they see each other, but Lynette’s friend pulls her away to play frisbee, but taht doesn’t last long when Lynette is pronounced out, she goes to sit by the fire and watch everyone else having fun. As soon as the realisation hits, they talk to the others they came to the bonfire with and tell them the news, they then decide to go to a remote family cabin which Riley’s family owns and complete the ritual to cement their bond, even though it is risky. Unfortunately, their worst fears come to pass and the Morrigan senses the ripple in the cosmos that their pairing has caused and come to disrupt their plans and kidnap Riley. Lynette is distraught, but she knows that she has to find him and so goes heading into a battle which has raged for generations, but will she succeed in saving Riley, or will their bond be destroyed before it can even begin? This is another brilliant book in this series where magic, danger and action are made into a heady mix which will keep you wanting more until the end arrives.

Caleb and Wynter both have had their heartaches and sworn off relationships. She has seen him several times, but never formally introduced until Reggie.
I really liked Wynter from the beginning and it only grew from there. She has a heart of gold and goes above and beyond what most people would do to help the animals of North Fork.
Caleb isn’t at all what I was expecting with the job, car & family money. I’m so glad I was.
I have enjoyed the two of the series I have read and will make sure to keep up with future releases.

The problem is the town is meddling trying to get Alice to settle down and together they come up with a plan to fake date. What could possibly go wrong when feelings get involved?
This was another great one in the series. I liked Alice, at times she seems so lost and I think growing up in a small town where everyone knows you is incredibly difficult for her at times as they assume she is the same girl. I thought the chemistry is instant with these two and I really enjoyed James character. Another wonderful story in the series.

I really enjoy reading stories in finding the unexpected in your expectations. Goals or ambitions you once thought would be your path end up turning out better than expected. This story has romance, strong family connections, and finding yourself. Becky, the only sister among many brothers and her father, learns to forgive those who were previously wrong for her family. Glen, who has changed now, is working on making things right as they connect, feelings start to emerge. You will definitely have to pick up this story to see whether things work out or not. This is part of a book series but it is my first one of these to work. Don’t really feel as if I missed too much from previous stories. It was nice enough to jump into the story.

Wow. I didn’t even realize this was the 4ht in a series, but it was great as a stand alone. * even though I’ll absolutely be reading the rest of the series* Kiera and Forrest have the most amazing story. I was enthralled. I literally couldn’t be bothered to put this book down. My blood pressure was definitely being tested while reading this, HOLY COW. I can’t even prepare future readers without spoiling anything. Just know this story is ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. I will be checking out more of her work, as well as the journal mentioned in the book, itself. Highly recommend!!!

This is the fourth book in the Buckeye Falls series. Books in this series can be read as standalones or out of order with no detriment to the stories told. The writing flows nicely, making for easy and enjoyable reading from the beginning. The characters are well-written, strong and entertaining whilst being lovable. You can’t help but root for their successes. In this book we follow the story of Alice and James, both looking for some peace and quiet in their lives and both with a form of issue which fake dating offers a remedy to. I really liked the character of Alice, there was something about her which just speaks to me. They’re both lovely characters and I couldn’t help my growing grin and celebrating as the story progressed. This was a fun and sweet romantic read and I absolutely loved it. I really enjoy fake dating stories when done well and this one fits the bill!

This is such a quick and fun read! I have enjoyed many books by this author, so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise to me that this one would follow suit. You can read this as a standalone, but I don’t recommend it that way. You will find much enjoyment, depth, and background from the rest of this series! While this is a shorter story as it is a prequel, the author spares no details. It grabs your attention and checks all the points for a longer book while taking you half the time. Reading about Lynnette and Riley will fill you with every kind of emotion as we are immersed in a world of danger, suspense, and the paranormal. If you think you have the story figured out, the author spins you in a new direction. I highly recommend picking this series up, you won’t regret it!

This is the third book in the Buckeye Falls series. The books in this series can be read out of order as they are able to be read as standalones. This is an easy read, written in a way that is engaging and flows well. The characters are also well-written and likeable. I found the premise of the story unique and entertaining, rather than a brand-new romance, it’s about trying to save the love they have for each other. This makes their story relatable to many as people often try to reignite the spark and come back together as a couple when life gets in the way. I truly felt for Natalie and Anthony, they clearly loved each other and finding their way back to themselves and each other is not an easy task at all. I was invested in them for the beginning and was desperately hoping they’d put the work in and not give up.
The emotional journey of the characters really appealed to me in this one. It was realistic and the emotions were there. I’m really enjoying this author’s work.

After reading Falling Again, I was pretty confident the wayward sister, Alice Snyder, would be the focus of the next Buckeye Falls novel, and I was not disappointed. In Falling Again, I was more than annoyed by Alice, her presumptuous attitude and how she treated her sister in law, Natalie. She became more bearable by the end of the book, and I found myself intrigued by what her story would be. In each of Ms. Kay’s books, she writes from the perspective of each protagonist (the man and the woman) so we didn’t really get a fair shake of what Alice was like, only the perspectives of her older brother and his wife. Reading about what Alice had accomplished in her 30 or so years, the education she had gained and the skills she developed, I found myself rather impressed. Then, I found myself disappointed she was attached to the Snyder family who doesn’t find much value in who Alice is as a person (Natalie aside). James Gibson enters the picture and through hilarious non-dating faux paus, James agrees to fake date Natalie, all the while wishing he was really dating Natalie. Ms. Kay continues with a style that promotes a love of cozy romance, and I highly recommend this next installment of the Buckeye Falls series!

This is the third book in the series but you definitely don’t miss anything by starting with it. Wynter and Caleb have both been bitten before in love and have taken the once bitten twice shy idea to new heights. They flirt with the idea of each other but it isn’t until a will gives them a reason to stay in each other’s company that they finally start to give in. Plus you really just want Caleb to get that dog!! This can be read as a stand-alone or in a series. I will be going back to the first book in the series to start from the beginning!!

I’ve read the books back to back, and this is my favorite so far! This surprised me a little bit; we are introduced to the main characters (Mayor Anthony Snyder and his beautiful wife, Natalie), and they didn’t wow me. In fact, Mayor Snyder is a bit of a punk in the first book, and one is left wondering what the heck Natalie is doing married to him. But, with this book from their joint perspectives, the jerkiness that Mayor Snyder initially presents himself with wears away and as a parent myself, I found myself relating more and more to the balance Anthony and Natalie are trying to find. Having busy professional lives and two young children is NOT easy, and when you’re the mayor of a town, I imagine that pressure is even higher. Add in an overbearing father and somewhat obnoxious, assuming younger sister, it’s a recipe for disaster. I loved how Natalie and Anthony navigated their relationship, and especially loved the ancillary character support throughout the story (bringing back in Ginny/Max and Cece/Evan). Great friendships and the cozy romance trope is perfect!

No Amends by Angela Lam. This is the first book by this author but wow was it good. Its the first f/f book I’ve read and while that isn’t my favorite it was still such a good story. Its the story of Tang a writer who is having writer’s block and Dee who is visiting her twin brother when she meets Tang. Dee is a sales rep for a high tech company. Tang is in a relationship but when she meets Dee all bets are off. They begin a long torrid affair that is full of lies, deceit and dark desire. The beginning of the book starts with a car accident and thru the book you begin to unravel the dark plot full of lies and deceit. I read this book late in the night trying to figure out what happened. Its such a good romantic suspense that will leave you guessing til the last page!
This is the first book in the Buckeye Falls series. It’s a sweet holiday romance, perfect for curling up by the fire for an easy read. It’s written nicely, flowing well making for an easy read. The characters are written well and each have their own personalities. I really enjoy characters which show development as the story progresses, and this book has them. Ginny for example, beginning by trying to avoid all things Christmas, but finding herself getting more and more involved and developing as a person as it happens. Her and Max share a past and they get the chance (with a little help from the Christmas spirit) to rekindle their relationship. You can’t help but get involved in their lives and wanting the happily ever after that often comes with the season. A sweet romance which would be quick and easy to read around the holidays.

The Mating Haze by Brooke May is book two in her along Call Pride series. Oh man this one was good! After watching her sister find her mate, Laramie can’t wait for her call to come. But when it does she is blinded by love and infatuation for her mate and the opportunities he and his family could bring to her community. Trigger has been raised with humans and is obviously trusting in his own family. But once he realizes that everything he’s done and worked for with the shifters is likely to jeopardize his new mate and relationship, things start to change. Can the pair overcome the obstacles that lie ahead between them and their families and pack? Or will the mating haze be too much and eventually tear them apart. I loved how this story came together. The twists and turns within the pairs relationship, kept it interesting and held my attention throughout. I’m quite enjoying this series.

I finished the Buckeye Falls Book #1 (Falling Home) and immediately had to pick up Falling For You. After just minimally getting to know Cece and Evan in Book 1, I was thrilled that Libby Kay decided to pursue their storyline next. This book felt like a cross between another Hallmark Movie and a movie about a Cooking Show Competition. I think so many people will be able to relate to both Cece and Evan’s backgrounds- Evan is a younger man (barely) and the stigma around that bothers Cece. Cece also has a dating background she’s desperate to avoid talking about, but is one that many women unfortunately experience as well. Evan has a degree and potential job opportunities, but doesn’t want to pursue the corporate lifestyle his domineering father demands of him, and treats him poorly because of. Ms. Kay does a fantastic job of making the characters feel like family, and has you rooting for their love story and to stand up to horrible people in their lives!

After reading Falling Home, I desperately want a trip to a cozy Midwest town where everyone feels like family. I found myself falling in love with Buckeye Falls, Ginny (one of the protagonist)’s father and his companion, Mona, and of course, Ginny’s ex-husband but still love of her life, Max. Ms. Kay jumped back and forth from Ginny and Max’s perspectives, and sometimes you found yourself wanting to shake either one of them (like you do with friends in real life when you know they can’t get out of their own way!) but ultimately it felt like reading a Hallmark movie, and I’m sold. Super cute cozy romance, and perfect for the upcoming holiday season!

I am obsessed with this author work and when I saw this book I knew that I had to get my hands on it! I love a good paranormal shifters romance and this one DELIVERED! The characters both had vastly different upbringings and that is what made their connection so great. I was on pins and needles and needed to know what was happening so much so that I was reading this while working out! I cannot wait to read more from this author!!

Oh, Hope and Adam, your journey pulled me in and did not want to let me go. I was completely and utterly thrown into a world of grief, love, forgiveness, second chances, and a touch of drama. While yes this is a romance book, it’s not your “normal romance” and I think that is what made me love it so much. Adam and Hope truly is what pulled you in and did not let you go. When I read a good romance, I want to feel the emotions of the main characters, I want to feel emotions myself and I sure did. I highly recommend this book and this author. I was simply blown away by this five-star read and I didn’t want the story to end.

This is the fourth book in the Central Florida Series and even though they can be read as standalone reads I feel one you’ve read one you will want to read then all. This author does an amazing job of opening the world of BDSM up to the reader in a way that goes deeper than just the sexual kinks. The author shows us the actual relationship side to these types of relationships and how loving and protecting they can be. This story is full of angst, danger, steamy chemistry and a connection to the dom/submissive relationship that can’t be denied. This is Ross and Hadley’s story.
To Ross, Hadley has always been the one who got away. Unable to deal with his feelings he enlisted to get away hoping the time apart would make his feelings less but on his return he finds her planning to go on the run with his brother. As much as he wants to stop her and protect her he knows he has no right to so he let’s her leave.
Fast forward and Ross is moving on but he has never forgotten her and often thinks about her. When Hadley gets in touch with a cry for help Ross knows that this time he will stop her from making a mistake and he will protect her from anything that threatens her.
Hadley has known nothing but pain since leaving all those years ago. Now she finds herself in a unsafe world of a Outlaw MC with her daughter. Knowing she needs to find a way to protect her she reaches out to the only person she knows she can trust. What she didn’t expect was that not only would Ross rescue her daughter but also her as well. Over the years though Hadley had built walls to protect herself and she isn’t so keen to tear them down. The girl Ross fell in love with no longer exists or so she thinks. As their relationship progresses and Ross’s protective, dominant Daddy side comes out will this be just the antidote that Hadley needs to recover and learn to love again. With the added danger of the people they escaped trying to find them will Hadley and her daughter ever be safe? And now that Ross finally has her how far will he go to protect the woman who has always held his heart. This book was a real page turner for me. I loved the characters and the way they complimented each other so well.

Oh I love a good holiday read! This is the third book in this series but can be read as a standalone. We follow Riley and Mitch and Riley’s son Dylan. Neither of them are looking for love but seems fate has other plans (doesn’t she always) .
I really enjoyed catching up with the others from the series so far and getting to know Mitch more. This author sure knows how to paint a picture with words I felt like I was right there watching it all happen in real time.

This was a really great book. I love when we get to see their pets and this one is because of a dog who brings 2 people together.
Wynter is trying to save a stray and catches the eye of Caleb with her amazing hair but also her patience. As these 2 take a chance on each other they learn they have another connection with a man who has passed. I loved how this story unfolded I was engaged from start to finish.

An entertaining and engaging contemporary romance which had me captivated throughout. This heartwarming romance features a mysterious letter, a secret history shared and a loveable rescued mutt. Both Wynter and Caleb have given up on love but that was before they had met each other. Wynter used to think of herself as a female Robin Hood, as a professional fundraiser working for nonprofits she enjoyed schmoozing with wealthy people, in order to talk them into donating their money to good causes. However, having fallen for a charming liar both her heart and her career were shattered, and she’s now sworn off all men. Meanwhile, Ex-Navy SEAL Caleb is fine with one night stands but he’s not looking for love. Following his last military tour, he feels that parts of him are dead, including his heart and he’s done with trying to be anyones hero. So he now makes big money selling high priced yachts and having easy flings with women. Then Wynter and Caleb meet and suddenly love is an option after all. Both Caleb and Wynter are likeable and relatable characters and I loved their developing relationship throughout the story. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone story.

I don’t know what I expected when I picked up this book but I was not disappointed. This book was such a good read
Olivia is attending her ex husbands wedding. In the effort of not showing up alone, her kids convince her she needs to take a fake date. She does no expect Roman. At all. Olivia just needs to remind herself that no matter how great it’s going, it’s not real. It can’t be. Or at least Olivia is sure it can’t be. As the week progresses, Olivia and Roman grow closer. What happens when the island vibes end and reality sneaks in?
Olivia is such a relatable character. I’m not sure I’ve read any other book where the heroine battles menopause and all of the things that come with it but it was so relatable and real. Both characters were very well written. I was pulled into the story and couldn’t put it down!
