By Lynne Russell
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the book Love Heels!: The TV news business can be murder (PJ Santini Series Book Three) by Lynne Russell. It is a story that includes mystery and danger. I love PJ Santini. She is strong, intelligent, and independent. She gives her all when on a case and doesn’t stop until it has been solved. What will happen in her current case? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had me turning pages to find out what was going to happen next. The book is fast-paced and had me hooked from the very beginning. I enjoyed many of the characters that interact with PJ. Many of them are her family and friends. I love the bantering back and forth between the characters. The author does an amazing job of making a storyline that is addictive to read and comes alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on the current PJ Santini book that is exciting and entertaining. I highly recommend reading it.

Grumbler's Ride (Satan's Devils MC San Diego #2)Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellett is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego. This series does not need to be read in order however I would highly recommend redding them all as they are just that good!
As usual this book is an absolutely fantastic addition to what is already an amazing series. I was instantly hooked on this book as soon as I started reading. I liked that the author chose to do a story about an older couple. It isn’t something you see all that often and she did it so well that I still found myself connecting with the characters.
This book is just as exciting and thrilling as the others and I loved every minute of reading it. I cannot recommend this series highly enough – do yourself a favour and start reading it today!!!

At Last
Adams Brothers
Book 1
By Mindy McKinley
☆☆☆☆☆
This is a full length romance novel. OKay! More hot and steamy tales for the romance department.

Lula Stanley is a literature teacher. Her one desire is to find her father. OK maybe that could be her second desire. First is finding true happiness, as well as finding her father. Lula is very conservative in dress and attitude. That is until she listens to Jazz. Dominic he too is a teacher, as well as a playboy. He could bring Lula out of her shell. Will these two finally realize what they have tried so hard to hide? Will both of them get past their own past, and take a chance?

Mindy McKinley wrote this page turner. Jump on in the rollercoaster and keep the tissue and chocolate close by. I fell in love with Dominic and can relate to Lula. The characters are real people and have real struggles. I must say The Adams Brothers Series is becoming to be a favorite. I can’t wait for Book 2! Well done Mindy McKinley, Well Done!

Shift Happens is the second book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series by Carrie Pulkinen. In book two of this series you get to learn more about Sophie Burroughs and her witch abilities. Along with learning more about Trace and there blossoming relationship. Sophie has a friend name Crimson who we get to learn more about her and Trace’s friend Jackson. one thing I loved about this read was even though it was centering around Sophie and Trace we still got to hear about Jane and Ethan. This read is funny and entertaining and it really keeps you captivated. I really look forward to reading book 3 in this series and i hope we can learn more about Jackson and Crimson.

Grumbler’s Ride by Manda Mellet is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego series and was another great read! Manda Mellet knocked it out again with another incredible book. I’m not a huge fan of the MC stories, but with Mellet’s great writing and amazing characters, she makes them very interesting and entertaining to read. This book had me laughing, wanting to cry, and also made me breathless. I couldn’t believe where the story was heading until it got there. I also loved the Doctor Who joke that sprinkled in the novel as well. This was a great read, and I can’t wait to read the next one!

No Rest for the Wicked (Life Is Hell Book 1) by Naomi Valkyrie – Review by Betsy Melano

No Rest for the Wicked (Life is Hell #1)No Rest for the Wicked by Naomi Valkyrie
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Delilah is a demon who owns a bar in a busy city. After almost 200 years, life has gotten pretty mundane. She’s tired of the same old routine and decides that she needs a change (who doesn’t these days right?) What could be better than vacationing in a small town in the middle a nowhere for her to enjoy some reading and relax.

I love reading a new series and getting to know new characters and when the main character is a demon, it adds just the right amount of danger! Ms. Valkyrie’s characters are so fascinating it adds and enhances the paranormal worlds she creates. You will want to keep reading and not put the book down until to the end.

This is the third book in this series, I enjoyed it just as much as the previous two books. This is an author that continues to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details. I enjoy being pulled into the story from the beginning. This is a fast paced, engaging story that has characters that are connectable. In this story PJ finds herself going from a divorce case to murder add to that her family, what could go wrong? She is about to find out how dangerous things can get. This is such a great story. It is fast paced and easy to read. PJ is one of my favorite characters. She brings the story to life and just made a great character. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens with PJ next.

High Heels And Mistletoe (Kisses Under The Mistletoe) by C.A. King, USA Today Bestselling Author – Review by Rosanna Ingram

High Heels And MistletoeHigh Heels And Mistletoe by C.A. King
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

High Heels and Mistletoe is a great book to kick off the holiday season. It revolves around the magic of Christmas and a little bit of magical curses.
Julietta is a hard working woman with an aversion to Christmas. She usually spends the holiday in a tropical location…and she is ready to leave on this year’s vacation. Unfortunately, she can’t leave until she closes the deal on the Winslow account. Luke Winslow is not making it easy and her vacation is non-refundable.
Luke Winslow is a rich playboy that embraces everything that the Christmas season entails. He is also out to find a date to his family’s Christmas Eve party that will make up for the debacle of last year. When he crosses paths with Julietta, she intrigues him from the beginning. When he finds out she is in charge of his account, he tries to woo her while hanging signing the deal over her head.
What ensues is a little bit of romance, quite a bit of humor, some personal growth, and a whole lot of Christmas magic. I enjoyed Julietta and Luke’s characters. They both evolved in their own way throughout the book. I devoured this book in one sitting because I couldn’t step away. I needed to know how it would all end up…and I was not disappointed. This is a good book to get into the holiday season.

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Book 1-3 + Novella by India Kells – Review by Nicole Noble

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set - Book 1-3 + NovellaThe Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Book 1-3 + Novella by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

As an avid book junkie (yep..that’s me), it’s difficult to find new authors who catch your interest. With so many genres (and we all have our favorites), at least with me, most readers tend to stick to their favorite authors. So to find a new author that really catches your interest is rare and exciting. But that’s what happened to me. Who’s the author? India Kells. Talk about refreshing! So let me explain WHY she is now a new favorite for me and will hopefully become a favorite author for YOU!

The Sanctuary Chronicles is a mish-mash of nothing but goodness! Paranormal romance AT ITS BEST. Be prepared for vampires, werewolves, and witches. Romance, mystery, and angst. Humor, intrigue, and drama. I think you’re getting the idea. Ms. Kells weaves wondrous tales throughout these books that surpass your average “good book”. As each book can be read as a standalone, do yourself a favor and pick up this box set. The books included are Broken Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book #1), Blind Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book #2), Dead Magic (The Sanctuary Chronicles Book #3), and Hidden Magic (A Sanctuary Chronicles Novella). Although I would love nothing more than to tell you about the goodness in EACH and EVERY book, we don’t have ALL DAY and I think my fingers would get tired from typing, LOL.

So, what is so different about these books than any other romance novel? Well, Ms. Kells does a fabulous job in book one of setting up the characters and storyline that keeps you ensnared from the beginning until the end. This is carried through each book, where the reader keeps being enchanted with the recurring characters and a spellbinding storyline. But don’t think with all the action, suspense, and drama that Ms. Kells forgets about the feels. Those are there in-mass! Each book builds on the last leaving the reader clamoring for more. If you’ve never read Ms. Kells, this is a fabulous way to be introduced. So pick up this box of goodness and follow Valeria, Sera, and Violet as they battle dark forces, make self-discoveries, and find love all in Sanctuary.

The world building is superb. The box set is a great way to read this series because you can binge read it without any breaks between stories. A definite must read for Paranormal Romance fans!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set by India Kells contains three full length novels and 1 novella. They are:
Broken Magic – full length
Blind Magic – full length
Dead Magic – full length
Hidden Magic – novella

I have been a fan of India Kells writing for a couple of years now but had never read any of her paranormal work until now. OMG I was seriously missing out on some amazing writing! I’m so glad that I chose to read this box set as I absolutely loved it.

The one thing I loved most about this box set are the characters. The characters are totally kickass and I loved them so much. I keep changing my mind on who my favourite couple are, who my favourite female is and who my favourite male is. Each time I read a new book, that book’s characters became my new favourite.

As well as the romance aspect of these books (BTW these books are hot and sexy!) the drama that unfolds through each story is so well written. We have shifters, werewolves, vampires, witches and just about every other type of being imaginable. Add in some murder, mystery, intrigue, curses etc and you get a set of amazing stories that will have you gripped from the very beginning and keep you tight in their jaws before spitting you out at the very end wondering what the hell you’ve just experienced.

If you love a paranormal romance then The Sanctuary Chronicles needs to be next on your TBR list.

At Last (The Adams Brothers BOOK 1) by Mindy McKinley – Review by Angelina Frazzini

At Last (Adams Brothers, #1)At Last by Mindy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At Last by Mindy McKinley is book one of the Adams Brothers series. I couldn’t put this book down and can’t wait to read book two!

Lula is the sweet, shy, if not a little awkward. Dominic is quite confident and a bit of a playboy. Lula has one goal and that is to find out who her father is. She doesn’t have time for distractions between being the best teacher she can for her students and finding out about her father. Dominic never gets attached. He’s pretty good at it. What is it about Lula that changes his mind? All it takes is one night at a Jazz club. Lula doesn’t need complications right now though. What will the future hold for these two?

I couldn’t put this book down. I loved Lula, probably because I can relate to her awkwardness a bit. Dominic intrigued me a bit honestly. He seemed like a contradiction, which hooked me. These two together – whew! I absolutely recommend!

5 out of 5 stars

I have read quite a few books written by Ms. Mellett and her writing just gets better with each book. I love how thorough she is with her descriptions if it’s of the club house and compound or just the people in general. I loved how she describe Grumbler’s motorcycle. These guys are not just a bunch of misfits that come together it is a brotherhood.

Grumbler is the Sergeant -at- arms he has given his club more years of his life than he cares to remember. His life is settled and just the way he likes it. He thinks he is too old to change now.

Grumbler is asked to use his motorcycle in a photo shoot while there he meets Mary and her 17yr old daughter Alicia. Grumbler finds out that they were conned out of money for such said photo shoot for a book cover that he contacts Alicia and her mother Mary and told them he would take care of I and get their money. So, after Alicia calls Grumbler for help after a bad experience with a male model they all become close.

Mary is a single mother to a 17yrold daughter names Alicia who keeps her on her toes. Alicia thinks she knows everything she’s not quite adult, but doesn’t see herself as a child, constantly pushing at boundaries. She spends most of her time trying to stay one step ahead of her and it’s not easy.

So now he is chasing the photographer for none-payment sends things in a spiral turn that throws Grumbler and Mary together. As the MC investigates the photographer things come to light that they need to call the Utah chapter. Grumbler is not happy about this because he still does not trust them after their antics came to light.

I highly recommend this book/series….

Grumbler’s Ride: Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #2 by Manda Mellet

I have loved every one of the Satan’s Devils books I have read, but think San Diego is my favorite of the branches at least so far.  I can relate age wise with first Patsy and now Mary.  Don’t get me wrong,  I love the stories about the younger members it’s nice to have someone in my age range that I can relate to more.

As the mother of two daughters this story stressed me out. I have no idea what I would have done in Mary’s shoes.  I do think it wouldn’t have been the same since I don’t have a hot biker in my life.

I cannot get enough of this series and can’t wait for the next book to be released.

This is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC San Diego chapter from Manda Mellett, and it quickly turned into one of my favorites of all time of hers. Grumbler’s Ride will knock your emotions out of the ballpark and tear you to pieces before it slowly and tenderly puts you back together. Manda Mellett has this special talent of making her books carry a message and bring to light difficult topics that need to be in the spotlight more. I won’t give away much on the twist to this because I don’t want to ruin it for you. I will say Mellett did a wonderful job yet again, writing about a horrible situation and making it very very relatable. I can’t say enough good things about this book so I will keep it short and sweet. This is a must read if you love MC novels and books with heart and soul woven in every word that graces the pages. I cannot wait to see what the next book will bring us! I think I will go back and re-read this sucker while I wait again, it was that good, I need more! Thank you for the fabulous read here Ms. Mellett!

At Last: Adams Brothers: Book 1 by Mindy McKinley is a beautiful steamy contemporary romance. This is Mindy’s debut novel and wow did she do a good job. She has a passion that clearly flows through her words. I laughed and cried at this emotive story, watching as they fell in love. The story is told in the main characters POV and I loved their witty banter. If the other brother in the Adams family is like this, then sign me up.

At Last is the first book in the Adams Brothers series and debut novel by Mindy McKinley. This is a well-written sexy and steamy co-worker romance, with just enough drama and angst to keep things interesting.
Lola is a great teacher, but lacks confidence and so tends to keep a low profile. Dom is a history teacher working at the same school, who has a bit of a player reputation. They have had little to do with each other until he sees Lola sing at a local Jazz club. Then things take an interesting turn.
A fun read. Looking forward to more from Mindy McKinley in the future.

Thank you, Mindy McKinley!

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Will you be tempted into the world of Vampires, werewolves and mystical creatures, I say YES.

The Sanctuary Chronicles by India Kells is brilliant, I love box sets as you don’t have to wait to get stuck into the next installment and you will be chomping to get to each book in this series.

The boxset has three of the books within this series and a bonus novella which will have you looking to read the next book in the series. Each books builds the story and follows the different characters within the flow of the story.

Broken Magic follows Valeria and when the only thing that had centred her, her magic has become destructive.

Blind Magic follows Sera who loses her sight and is heartbroken when she thinks that her beloved books and research has gone, but the only person who can hep can’t even stand to be in the same room as her.

Dead Magic follows the story of Violet and her interaction with the oldest Vampire, Finn. Will give in to the chemistry which is obviously between them.

I love India Kells writing and this is the first time I have read her fantasy books but they have the same well developed characters and gripping stories as all the other books. This is not normally my usually genre I read but because of the author I thought I would give them a go and was not disappointed.

All three of the books were full of the usual angst and chemistry with the interaction of the secondary characters you find yourself transported to the world of Vampires, witches and all that goes with this wonderful world. I would definitely recommend this series as a gateway to the unknown world of fantasy.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Book 1-3 + Novella by India Kells was a great 5 star read.
We get a great collection of the first three books in one along with a novella.

Broken Magic:
Valeria is a witch and her father is an enforcer. She has been given the job of hunting and killing those who are a danger to the supernaturals. This is when she meets Asher, he is the head of the werewolves that she was hunting. There is a connection between these two. But….if they were to be together it could mean death. Are they willing to take that chance?
Something wacky also goes on with Valeria’s magic that causes tragedy causing her to be banished. We jump ahead a couple of years when she runs into Asher again but it’s not a pleasant visit, he has plans to kill her. Overall this was a great read with several unexpected twists and turns.

Blind Magic:
Sera is a witch who is gradually losing her sight. She is curious and likes to learn about things and she isn’t shy about asking people questions. I loved the scene where she asked Ian to turn for her so she could see how it was done.

We move forward with a great story with mystery and twist and turns. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I really liked Sera’s strength and fierceness in protecting her loved ones. The connection between Sera and Ian was great, you could feel it coming off the pages.

Dead Magic:
Finn is a very old vampire, he is at the point where he is ready to meet his maker. However, when a certain someone connects with him and asks for his help, his plans change immediately. She is the one and only person he would stay for.

Violet lost her parents to a vampire and should hate them but something about Finn pulls her in and she can’t stop thinking about him. He’s different from the others. When Finn arrives to help Violet, they discover that working together makes them stronger, can they work together to keep Violet safe and help with her internal war?

Overall this was a great read, my emotions were all over the place. The characters were all great. I love Violet and Finn’s connection.

Hidden Magic (Novella):
This is Kat and Brant’s story. These two have a great chemistry that comes off the pages.
Brant is a were-lynx and when Kat is kidnapped he is determined to find her. When he finds here will he be able to help her get through her demons and fears from her kidnapping? I really liked both characters from the start, Brant pulled me in right away with his feelings for Kat. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing, you feel like you’re right there with all of the characters. 1-click and get started today on this great collection. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I think I have read every Satan’s Devil’s MC books and the stories continue to amaze me.
This is the 2nd book in the San Diego series and Grumbler has quickly become one of my favorite members. He has dedicated his life to the club and has been happy being the single guy with no children. So when someone asks to photograph his baby (his motorcycle), he finds himself in a situation that will change the course of his future.
Mary is a single mother of a teenager who does what teenagers do best…test the limits. When she accompanies her daughter to a photoshoot, she finds herself turning to a grumpy biker for help. How long can they fight their attraction before they give in or walk away? (You have to read to find out)
I found myself drawn to these characters. Maybe being a mother of a teenage girl is part of it. I can see how Grumbler got his name and for some reason that only made me like him more. Again, another great book in the series. Can’t wait to read whatever comes next!

Book 2
By Manda Mellett
☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
This is a full length novel in a series, I recommend you read book 1 first. Actually reading anything from Manda Mellett will make you familiar with her MC men in Satan’s Devils. You may find yourself in a dark place in this story. I recommend you hang on tight!

Grumbler, single, never gonna have an Ol Lady. It was just him and his ride. Never, Never, Never going to put anybody on the back of his ride. But when he is asked to allow pictures taken of his ride, with some other guy on his bike. Well he would not allow that. But he would consider letting someone stand next to her. Then trouble comes knocking, and that’s all you will get from me. No Spoilers! You have to read it to believe it.

Manda Mellett has done it again. This story is well written and promises to keep you reading. I was on page one and remained there until the last page was read. This is one of those books you are afraid to put down. At least I was. I love her characters! Grumbler and Mary are great together, when he comes to her rescue, and helps her teen get out of a mess. (Okay on a side note two of the women in the club have my first and middle name!) I am looking forward to reading more from Manda Mellett. Job well done Manda Mellett! You never disappoint!

The characters where amazing and written well I loved their little quirks and the way they came together. Her description of the scenery was amazing that I thought that I was at the lake with the characters.

Delilah Hawthorne is a burnt-out demon that owns a bar she is needs a break. One minute she is pouring drinks in the bar the next she is in her car driving out of the city with no specific destination.

She finds herself in Juniper Lake but Juniper Lake isn’t what it seems it holds its own secrets. Delilah thinks she found the perfect place to recharge no more killing or vengeance. Just the sweet relief of peace and quiet.

But the joke is on Delilah…. What does she find in this small town? Will she get the peace she needs? Will she find something that will change her life for the better? Can she have a happily ever after?

I just simply loved this book and cannot wait to read the next book in this series….

Life is full of chance. I do t believe in coincidences. This book shows how fate has a hand in everything. Grumbler spent most of his life in the MC. He has never wanted a woman or kids. When a photographer wants to shoot his bike, Grumbler can’t wait to show off his pride and joy. A simple decision changes his path in life. Falling into a situation with dire consequences, Grumbler and the Satan’s Devils don’t hesitate to bring about justice. Life sometimes gives you things that you never knew that you wanted.

This is another winning book in the MC series. If you haven’t read this author’s books, I highly recommend them. Though they are all written as part of a series, they can be read as stand-alones. You’ll love it so much that you’ll definitely be reading the rest.

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Book 1-3 + Novella by India Kells – Review by Carrie Reed

The Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set - Book 1-3 + NovellaThe Sanctuary Chronicles Box Set – Book 1-3 + Novella by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

5 stars!
This series is a definite must read. There is romance, drama, action, vampires, werewolves, witches and everything you could want in a book. Each book has its own set of trials for the couples to overcome and characters to fall in love with. My favorite couple is Sera and Ian from Blind Magic, I can’t get over how awesome of a woman Sera is and the love between her and Ian. I really enjoyed these books and how the story flowed, how the characters were written and the different dramas that befell each couple. I have loved every India Kells book I have read so far and look forward to see what she has in store next.

Grumbler’s Ride (Satan’s Devils MC San Diego #2) by Manda Mellett

Grumbler’s Ride is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC of San Diego by Manda Mellett and by far my favorite yet. I’m a huge fan of not only this author but MC is one of my top genre’s. I mean what’s not to love about a biker. Ido recommend reading the first book in this series if you haven’t already it’ll give you a better idea of the characters and some back stories. I had a hard time putting this down. There was a couple spots I got a bit teary eyed. Get ready to be taken on quite the ride some parts will be like being on a emotional rollercoaster. Grumbler is an older biker who has always believed that he didn’t need a woman. When he’s approached by a photographer who wants to shoot some photos of his bike (he loves his bike). H e then meets Mary who is a widowed single mother of a teenage daughter. What happens when her daughter gets herself in a situation? Find out what happens next. I could go on and on but I don’t want to give anything away. This author and this entire series (All different chapters) are definitely worth reading. I simply can’t recommend this enough. Grab yourself a copy today and get lost in the world of bikers. I can’t wait to see what or I should say who this author brings us next.
