What a fantastic collection of stories from some well-known to me authors and few new ones. I was really excited to see a story from Bree Kraemer – I love her stories and haven’t read one for ages. I loved the variety in the storylines; each one was different but equally as entertaining. I loved all of the books but the one which I loved the most (and it’s a difficult choice) was one night with a Knight – I adored the main character, I thought that she was really relatable. I also really enjoyed A Hole by Phoebe Alexander – she is absolutely one of my most favourite authors ever. Overall I really enjoyed this set of short reads, they were all excellent and I highly recommend you one click this set today!
This is the second book in the Redclaw Origins series. I loved this book as it is a great mix of mystery and paranormal adventure.

I am loving this series so far with the older generation! Grumbler never really seems like a rough guy to me, I guess his appearance is rough but every exchange he had with anyone, he seemed sweet. I love him and Mary together, and he finally found himself an old lady. It is fun to see what situation the boys will get themselves involved with, that ends up with them meeting their destined partner. This story made me so sad and disgusted with people that would steal children and make videos. I was happy to see the Utah chapter step in and help fight this ring. When Swift shows up to help, and has the honor of leading the torture, the guys find a new respect for her, and I think they finally see why she was patched in. The story was beautifully written, I loved every character and was very pleased with how Grumbler and Mary ended up. I love Manda Mellett’s MC series because the story is so much more than a hot biker hooking up with a woman, there is so much depth to each book. I can’t wait to see who comes next.

Book1: The 57th Floor by Hazel Storm What a story. I have just decided that maybe little short stories are for me! Whew! There was enough room for characters to be loved, drama to ensue, and of course a flame to take over the pages. I need to know what else goes with this hot little story!
Book 2: A Change of Plans by PE Kavanagh The next time I hear about a snowstorm in New York I will be wondering how many people are having sushi and champagne and if they are making their own Valentine’s Day plans work out! This story was great and there was definitely enough in here to fall in love with the characters!
Book 3: A hole by Phoebe Alexander Oh, man! Have you ever have that moment when you knew the entire conversation and what you thought about someone was simply miscommunication? This book is all about assumptions and thinking someone is talking about one person and it turns out to be not the same person. The drama the characters face, I can imagine, happens everyday in real life around the globe. There was some comedy, drama, and a moment when I was really rooting for the underdog. This was a well written short story!
Book 4: The Wolf of Wall Street by Lucy Eden I don’t usually read about shifters and this one was a delight! I liked the characters and the trials that come along with the differences of their lives. I don’t know that I could have read a full book about this particular subject, but this short story was revitalizing and a little different from what I normally tend to read.
Book 5: One Night With a Knight by Aidy Award Wow! The characters were written like I could call them up and go to the bakery or the club to hang out with them! And the story line was amazing for being a short story, it had just enough heat and trials to keep me interested and loving every minute of it. I will have to be on the lookout to see if there is anything going on with any of the other characters in this one.
Book 6: 44th and Blue by Jodi Payne There is something about an office romance that keeps me intrigued. Who’s going to find out. Who’s going to give in. This story didn’t disappoint with either of those options. And it just so happens that when the walls are built it keeps the heat in, in all the best ways. Falling for these characters wasn’t a difficult task in this hot little story.
Book 7: Courtney by Jayce Ellis This story made me sit back and really look at how the world is treating people right now. Just a bigger picture, and it was well done! I loved the character building and the city scape was well described. It has a flow that made it quicker read for me, it had me wishing and hoping for the characters and I enjoyed watching how they worked out the conflicts that are surrounding them throughout this entire short story!
Book 8: The Right Note This was a cute short story! I fell in love with the main character instantly! This book was very well written with awesome characters and back drop! I could see this so clear in my head that it was like I was there with them, watching the interactions, feeling their feelings.
Book 9: Feeling Bechet I wasn’t sure about this story at first. The characters are well written, it seemed not to have the flow I was getting used to with the other books in this anthology, but it didn’t deter me to stop reading. I am sure glad I kept going. The conflict instantly sucked me in and it was so well done that I had to stick around to see what was going to happen between them all, not just the main characters, all parties involved.
Book 10: The Glass Tower Wow, this book was written as such that every time I walk by a high rise I am going to assume that there is a person up there that is described in this story, lol. I sure hope that isn’t the case, but whatever, I am going to presume it is so. Well done, it caught my attention very early on, it was executed just as I had hoped, not that I saw it coming because I surely didn’t!
Book 11: Make Me Beg There is something to be said about a good mob story, I don’t know what that is just yet because I don’t really read mob stories, but I did really like this one. It was just enough for me to rethink how I think about a good mob story, ha! I even teared up in this one, even being a short story it got to me hard! Well done in all aspects of storytelling!
Book 12: Global City Tryst The title is the best! It describes exactly what to expect and was done well. The flow of this story was such as that I made it to the end and wanted more, instantly. The character building was well done, the city scapes were, while there weren’t many in this one, they were well described. I seriously can’t wait to get to the rest of this series. Intrigued.

This is a wonderful box set that has exciting and enjoyable stories to read. They are stories that include the paranormal. Witches, shifters, and vampires make up the included characters. They have a safe place called The Sanctuary. The stories are well-written and had me hooked. The characters I believe are a large part of why I love the stories so much. The women are intelligent, strong, independent, and resourceful. The men find them irresistible and hard to stay away from. There is chemistry and attraction between them. I couldn’t help but root for them all to find happiness. There are very romantic scenes included. Read this book set to find out what the future holds. Besides the main characters, there are also additional characters that are introduced, and I enjoyed reading about how everyone interacts. The author does an amazing job of making the stories come alive and I didn’t want to put them down until I had finished the final page. Don’t miss out on an entertaining set of stories that you will fall in love with. I highly recommend reading this box set.

No Rest for the Wicked (Life Is Hell Book 1) By Naomi Valkyrie 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the book No Rest for the Wicked (Life Is Hell Book 1) by Naomi Valkyrie. It is a paranormal story that had me hooked from the very beginning. I love the character of Delilah Hawthorne. She is a demon who is burned out and needs a break. She finds herself in the town of Juniper Lake. Little does she realize what is in store for her. Delilah is intelligent, independent, and has plenty of sarcasm. I enjoyed reading about how she sees the world and herself. She also is finding herself in serious situations. She is determined to gain as much information as she can to help not only herself but those around her as well. This is a very entertaining story. I enjoyed reading about the additional characters who interact with Delilah. The author does an amazing job of creating a well-written book that I didn’t want to put down until the final page. I want to know more about Delilah and the other characters in the story. Don’t miss out on a wonderful tale that doesn’t disappoint. I highly recommend reading it.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she has a new fan. I love a good paranormal story but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the first book of the New Orleans nocturnal series. Once I started this book I could not put it down. It only took me a few hours to devour this addictive story.

I LOVE historical fiction and this one was certainly a pleasant read. Anyone that finds themselves fans of the historic hills of The British Isles will absolutely enjoy being transported by this tale. Past and present collide as the characters try to navigate and reconcile their different sensibilities and world views. I immediately was transported with the vivid imagery and appreciated the author’s attention to detail. A really good historical fiction.

Everything about this read was enjoyable from the scenic setting to the relatable characters. I love books like this especially the suspense of detective works. Both characters are lovable with their chemistry between the two. Full of adventure, suspense and mystery was worth the read alone. I think you’ll enjoy everything this book has to offer from the action, dialogue, and the world the atmosphere the setting is. This is so entertaining!

Her writing skills are such that she makes you feel part of the story as well as characters that pop off the pages. This boxset is no different. Each story is full of action, romance with characters that are creative such as witches, vampires and werewolves. Hot characters that bring each story to life and each are unique in their own way. A paranormal adventure that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the second book in this series and I loved it just as much if not more than the first one. I was pulled right into the story from the beginning. I highly suggest reading the previous book to get to know the characters better. I had no problem connecting to the characters as they bring the story to life. Who doesn’t love hot, steamy bikers, right! In this book we get to see Grumber. He has always felt that he doesn’t need a woman or family in his life until he meets Mary. She is a single mother of a seventeen year old who likes to push boundaries. Her daughter manages to get herself in a situation that something just isn’t right about it. Just when Mary thought she couldn’t take more and not sure how to cope until Grumbler. What happens next you don’t want to miss. They have such great chemistry together, I loved them. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I loved this book. I have read all of this author’s books, this is my favorite yet so far. This is a well developed story that is a great start to a new series. The characters brought the story to life for me. I had no problems connecting with them. Delilah is such a great character and my favorite. It is so great seeing a character that is so strong and female to boot. She feels that she is a burnt out demon so she takes a break only to find herself in a small town that has many secrets. Will she learn there is no rest for the wicked or will she find the peace and quiet she desires? This is such an engaging story that I couldn’t put down until the last page. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Thunder on the Moor by Andrea Matthews was such an interesting time travel story that I LOVED reading. I personally have been obsessed with books about time travel recently and this one did not disappoint. I became hooked from the very beginning and putting this book down was hard for me, I did not want it to end. Maggie is strong, independent, and overall, just an interesting character. This story is so intriguing it keeps you hooked until the very last page. The author put so many details that you feel like you are there.

I loved this book! It’s written well enough to stand alone (which I’m thankful for as I grabbed it without reading book one). Suffice it to say, I loved this edition and will quickly run to read what I missed in the first installment in the series. Regardless, this fun and flirty caper had just the right amount of sass, intrigue, and fantasy thrown in to keep in interesting and moving briskly. Loved every page and can’t wait to read more from this author.

Thunder On The Moor by Andrea Matthews is a unique and well written book that had my utterly engrossed the whole way through. I loved how the author has taken the two different times and combined them so easily as if it is done every day. Maggie is such a great character. She is strong and engaging character. It was easy to relate to her and what she was feeling. It was so easy to imagine being in her shoes, going through the experiences that she did. The story itself was well thought out and developed perfectly. It felt like the author took her time to create a great story. As a new author to me I was impressed with her writing style and the overall progression of the book. I am looking forward to reading more from her in the future.

Faerie’s Magic has a lot of potential to be a great novel, not just another paranormal romance. The overarching plot is actually well done, and the worlds of the fae and the wolf shifters are pleasantly fleshed out and immersive. I also liked the magic system and I’m fascinated by the “inner wolf” that the shifters have. Is it just an inner voice like a conscience, or do shifters have dual personalities that shift beings when they switch between wolf and humanoid form?
If you enjoy a strong willed, hot tempered pair of love interests that have passionate, explicit sex, then you’ll enjoy this book. However, there were too many typos, awkward phrasings and confusing sentence structures for me to truly enjoy the story. I don’t mind a little bit of profanity, but Feyden’s writing is peppered with it. I also require more out of my romance stories than just fixations on “finding my mate”, which was the first half of the book, and “claiming my mate”, which was the second half of the book.

I was not honestly sure what to expect when I picked up Bishop’s Gambit as it was the second book in the series Redclaw Origins from McKenna Dean, but I knew I needed to read it the moment I saw the cover. It really drew me in and I had to know what adventure awaited the characters on gracing the cover. This book was quite the adventure and I was not disappointed. I do wish I just started with book one because I enjoyed it and would have had that backstory for the romance part of this novel. That may have made this even better so I will be doing a re-read once I read book one.
In Bishop’s Gambit we find the main characters, Peter Knight and Rhett Bishop, as they face a new assignment together professionally and also during the early stages of their relationship together. These two had me cracking up at times and on the edge of my seat at others. I loved the detective parts as much as the action and paranormal undertones as well. I am super excited to dive into this series more in the very near future!

This was a captivating read that I couldn’t put down! I would definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a supernatural romance. Genre fans of history and mystery will also be enthralled by the amazing characters and McKenna Dean’s world-building. If you have not read book one, do not worry you will soon fall in love!

Big City Heat: A High-Rise Romance Anthology is a collection of 12 short stories in just about every genre of romance. From a different city comes different romances from billionaires – fake relationships – older men – LGBTQ – office to mafia romances. With a lot of these authors being new to me, I only really read A Hole by Phoebe Alexander.

I enjoyed this book by Jessica Feyden. I enjoyed going on the journey, watching Mira and Cadoc find each other and fall in love. This novel by Jessica Feyden had adventure and excitement. The journey to finding each other had many twists and turns but I loved it. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys paranormal romances. I look forward to reading more Jessica Feyden.

I enjoyed this book by McKenna Dean. it was a love story with a bit of a paranormal twist, something I enjoy. It was fun to watch the relationship between Bishop and Knight flourish and grow. I also liked the adventure and excitement that this book had in spades. There were some twists and turns which only added to my enjoyment. This book was good and I look forward to reading more from McKenna Dean.

Faerie’s Magic is the second book in the Seasons of the Fae series. The cover is magic all by itself! It puts a spell on you and you can’t resist getting the book. I don’t want to give the story away so I will simply say this – Faerie’s Magic is a wonderfully spun web of paranormal adventure, danger, magic, drama, and of course, romance. The world building and detail of the characters makes the story come to life. I’m looking forward to reading the next book!

This is my first read by McKenna Dean, not knowing what to expect I went in open-minded and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. This book is full of action, adventure, mystery and suspense and I was hooked from the get-go! This was a mentally visual read, and with the author’s brilliant descriptions it makes it that much easier to connect to the storyline and the characters she has created. Being part of a series I thought I would need book 1 to really get an understanding of it, but it flowed effortlessly on its own. I highly recommend you pick up this read.

I’ll admit anthologies are usually not my thing, but this collection of stories was super fun to read! Just about every kind of story/type you can imagine!
The stories are well written and I like the fact that I was introduced to so many new authors. Just more novels to be added to be TBR list! If you love big city romances, this collection is just for you!

Thunder On The Moor by Andrea Matthews is a historical romance story that has been born from historical events from the 16th century and it is easy to see that Andrea is passionate about it. It makes for an interesting read with time travel and being set in Scotland (as I love Scotland, it is my favourite place from my world travels), but I found the story long, a little tedious at times and slow going. I also found it hard to connect at all times with the main character, Maggie and found myself skimming through the pages. There is plenty of action and danger and interesting facts, as we learn about the life of a Border Reiver, clan wars and the events of that time.
