Rookie Moves was a quick read. The author gives you a peak into the life of a football rookie. I was thinking this was going to be typical but it wasn’t. I liked that Grant was willing to change to keep him future bright. That he wasn’t going to let his faults ruin his football career. At first I didn’t really like Emily because I thought she was going to lead him down the wrong path. Her character was definitely flawed. But she changes and so does Grant’s. It was a nice story that gives you a nice view of professional athletes.

So I have not read the Beckoned series before this and just like it says it is a standalone you don’t feel like you miss anything from not reading the original series which I love because there’s a few times where I’ve read standalone and been completely clueless because of what happened in the previous book/serious.
I love the frenemies to lovers trope it is one of my favourites mainly because I always love the banter between the two characters, Erin and Clint did not disappoint they gave me some banter worthy scenes and I loved it!
I really like Clint he is hilarious especially with his internal monologue for himself, the fact he knows he teases and annoys Erin and recognises that he still wants her, like the kind of get in that bedroom wanting you and I like that he doesn’t hide it all that way. He’s very charming and charismatic, although not all that great about expressing those feelings he has.
Erin I’m on the fence of how I feel about her, I like her character but she’s also kind of annoying at the same time, strangely. Although once Clint starts opening up to her I like her a little bit more she doesn’t seem so judgy. So other than the judgyness of her I really like her character.
Although we stan Fern! I love him! He’s super supportive!
I like how much we go into the climbing scene this book teaching me things I didn’t even know, although that scene kind of gave me chills between CLint and Erin. The sexual tension between these characters, honestly the tension comes pouring off the page. The fact they both want each other but really don’t say it at the beginning makes me really frustrated I just want them to talk to each other and be honest how they feel. Damn the drama that happened in this book the cabin and the woods (I have to admit reminds me of a certain horror movie that did the cabin in the woods, not the actual thing that happened but the name).
I really enjoyed this story and the plot of the story, I will definitely be interested in reading some more of this author’s work, it was a really cute enjoyable read! I liked the characters and the story kept me reading!

This is a love story between two strong characters. Giovanni Larussio, a mafia don is in love with Serena, a heavy headed independent girl, who does not like him being very bossy and protective about her. Her family is against Gio. But because of her relationship with Gio, Serena is in danger and it becomes Gio’s responsibility to protect her. Filled with suspense, danger and romance, it is a very fast paced read. Albeit I felt a lot of background and character development is missed because of not reading the previous books, this book can be read standalone.

I have read a few books from this author and she continues to surprise me with her writing. I love a good athlete romance but she exceeded my expectations with this book. This is the fifth book of the My cowboy series. This book can read as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited when I got this book I stopped everything and started to read it immediately. I read this book straight through in a few hours. I can’t wait to see what this amazing author will write about next.
Hunter Masters doesn’t want to live his dad’s legacy as a rancher he wants to play football. He is ready to go back to school and play the sport he loves so much. Hunter has no time for girls until he meets the lovely Kennedy. He can’t help but to fall for her. She is smart, sweet, and beautiful but she is hiding something he can’t put his finger on. Love on the Ropes is a super cute slow burn co-worker frenemy rom-com. This was as enjoyable as Aviva Vaughn’s last series. Clint Davenport and Erin Hung work for the same morning drive-time radio show Wake Up America “Woo-Ah”. Clint and Erin’s relationship was a little rocky in the beginning with her friendship with Fern and Clint with his awkward nervous talk.
But the laughs are what made their story lovable from the bantering to the random names instead of curse words. But it Avia’s attention to details that makes me feel like I’m right there in the book with her characters. I can’t wait for more of Clint and Erin and to see other co-workers (Fern Haddad)from this series find their HEA.

The Larussio Legacy continues in this third book of the series. In this story we we see far Giovanni will go protect Serena through their romance, love and families. He won’t let anyone harm Serena, no matter what extremes they go to. This is my first book I’ve read in the series. I can’t wait to go back and read the other books in the series to understand it all and meet more of the Larussio friends and family.

Via Mari does is again in this third installment. If you are a fan of mafia fiction, suspenseful romance, or just really good books, this book – no, this author – is a must read. So many amazing characters. Strong men and women – seriously – Serena is amazing and Gio – whew – get me a fan. It’s steamy, it’s edge of your seat dramatic, it’s just really really really good. Run and pick it up. And get all of the series books while you are it – trust me.

This is the first read by Vaughn and I’ve got to say wowzers. This was a fantastic read and I really can’t wait for more. Vaughn has a certain way of transporting you into the book.
Erin, originally from Hawaii, is now living in Cali. Working at a radio station is the best she has had. She loves her job and she’s also crushing on her boss. The quote I chose for Erin is: “Thank you for the dance.”
Clint, a former TopGun fighter, is now the host for a radio show. He loves what he does and loves the fact that Erin works there as well. He finds himself falling and isn’t sure what to do. The quote I chose for Clint is: “Do I get to keep my arm around you if we try that?”
Highly recommended for romance lovers. Especially ones where frenemies turn lovers.

She’s No Cowgirl is a sports romance book and boy do I love these books!!!! I could not put this book down from the very beginning. The characters pull you in immediately and you can not but fall in love with the romance and what will happen in the next aspect of this storyline. The chemistry between Hunter and Kennedy is great and you can not help but push for them to have their happy ever after… but will it be in the cards for them or will drama and secrets hinder that journey??? This is definitely a must read!!! And I personally can not wait to read more from this wonderful author.

Faerie’s Magic: a fae shifter romance (Seasons of the Fae Book 2) by Jessica Feyden is a paranormal fantasy romance. It took me a little while to settle into the story, but it soon drew me in. Love was not what any one thought would happen in the most unlikely of circumstances and despite the difference between them. There is a lot of pain, betrayal and hurt in this good story, but it is all worth it in the end. A Fae princess, a wolf shifter and magic and action abound in this wonderful tale. Jessica’s writing and world building, makes it easy to venture on this journey.

Rookie Moves: A Quick Snap Novella. This story was a fun quick read that had me completely hooked. The author creates characters that are complex and easy to connect with. I’m not much for sports type reads but this one may just change my mind on that way of thinking. I laughed and enjoyed getting lost inside this story. While short it’s not hindered in anyway in fact I think it was everything I could want. The storyline is engaging and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The characters pull you into their world and you won’t want to leave in the end. I’m giving this story a five star review and highly recommend it. Excited to see where this author takes readers next.

This is the 3rd book in the series and Via has exceeded expections. This is a fantastic Romance suspense story. The character are very rateable and well written. The great thing with these books is that you can read them as a stand alone book.After reading one of Mari’s books you cannot help but be pulled into the reading the others in the series as their storytelling is fantastic and want to read more. The action and suspense is off the charts. And believe me the sexy scenes will melt your Kindle 😂📴.

Reign is the third book in The Larussio Legacy seriesby Via Mari. This is a fantastic romantic suspense series and this book builds on the previous two- there is a lot going for this story, starting with the mafia, then adding of drama, suspense, action, danger, sizzle, romance, a little mystery, and a dose of angst- all wonderfully carried by a really superb cast of characters. As I have mentioned many times now, I have read all of Via Mari’s books now and have loved them all. So, having said that, I really did have high expectations for this story- especially since the other two are soooo good- so I am happy to say that Via Mari definitely didn’t let me down- as this is every bit as good, if not better than the previous two. I was glued to the pages from the start, entirely invested in the characters and the outcome of the story- especially more so having met Gio and Serena in the previous book/s. I tore my way through the pages, devouring the story- and entirely engrossed the entire time. As with her other books, there is plenty of suspense woven through the storyline- the tension in parts is quite palpable and had me on the edge of my seat clamouring to know how it all played out. I can’t wait to see what she does next!

She’s No Cowgirl by Brooke May was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in right from the beginning.
From a young age Kennedy was into sports, she was so determined that she even played one year of tackle football. She wasn’t allowed to return to football so she has decided to take a different journey that will allow her to be fully involved in the sports world. Another role that is usually ruled by men, she is determined to prove women can do just as good as men. I love her character so much.
Hunter’s family is in ranching, he is a college football player during the school year. He wants more for himself other than taking over the family business. When Hunter meets Kennedy you can feel the sparks fly and chemistry come off the pages. These two have so much in common with sports and have the same goals.
Will they both be successful in their goals? Can they have a HEA?
Overall I really enjoyed this couple and their story. All of the secondary characters were great. If you’re looking for a read that pulls you right in this is the book for you. So Cute! This novel is one that can be read by all ages! Kickflip Summer is written by Danielle Jacks. It is a story that takes place during the summer in England. Kara is happily awaiting her time to go to the University in the fall, while her best friend Toby wants an adventure. So he decides that they are both going to work at England’s biggest theme park! Bear is an up and coming skateboarder, who wants to travel England teaching little kids how to skateboard. However, his dad wants him back working at their family business, which happens to be a theme park. When these two meet, there is an attraction. However neither one of them want a summer romance. So they continue to fight it for several weeks. Until gradually they become friends and then decide a summer romance wouldn’t be so bad. This book was light and fun and I was hooked from the beginning. The characters were great and they all worked so well together. I thoroughly enjoyed every bit about this book. I would definitely recommend it to others as well.
Brooke May is a go-to author for me, I have read numerous books by this author and each book hooks me within minutes and this one is no different. I was hooked with this storyline and these characters made this book was it is, entertaining, easy to read, captivating and a read you could read all over again. I absolutely loved Kennedy & Hunter’s connection, I loved watching them grow throughout the read and seeing how they begin to where they end up. The connection that grows between them brings true chemistry when they are together, and I loved seeing that grow. I couldn’t help but route for these two characters, with the all the emotions that you go through with young love, from the drama, and ups and downs that comes with it you couldn’t help but hope these two would come through the other side. I loved diving into this read, you will not be disappointed in picking this read up! I highly recommend this read and this author!

Such a great short story!! Rookie Moves is a Quick Snap Novella by Tarrah Anders. Grant Toolson is the new rookie for the Seattle Seahawks. However, he is not making smart moves off the field. Constantly getting into trouble for something and the owners of the organization want him to change his ways. Emily is the mayor of Seattle’s daughter. She is under the constant eye of bodyguards and the city. She is a humanitarian for one thing and when she meets Grant while paring up together at a food bank she doesn’t think anything of it. However, when they meet at a charity dinner is when things kick off between the two. The chemistry between the two is amazing. They balance each other out and it really becomes a whirlwind romance. She calms him down and he lets her be wild and free. It really was a cute story even with the twists that come along with it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves short stories and quick romances. Oh! And I absolutely love that Will Montgomery makes a cameo in this story too!

Rookie Moves: A Quick Snap Novella is a fast paced Sports/Romance by Tarrah Anders. This book had me laughing out loud, which is one of my favorite things when I’m reading. Grant, the bad boy, needs someone to help him with changing his image and Emily seems like the right person for the job. Sparks fly when they meet and they need to find a common middle. This is a great story. The characters are relatable and the witty dialogue is so funny. I highly recommend this book to everyone who is looking for a short feel good read.

Reign (The Larussio Legacy Book 3) by Via Mari. Giovanni and Serena has me completely hooked from start to finish. I’ve read each book in this series and they just keep getting better. This author just has a way with words that keep readers coming back. These characters captured my heart and I was happy to be lost with them for a few hours. The characters are complex and relatable, they are so easy to connect with and I found myself forgetting I was reading a book. It’s a well written story that’s paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything.i can’t wait for more from this author. Five stars all the way and highly recommended. I so completely sincerely loved this book. It had a comfortable flow to it and I hated when it ended. After it ended and I thought about reading I was sad that I couldn’t open my kindle and go back into Harleigh’s world. I really can not wait to read this again in the near future.
My heart broke for Harleigh at the beginning of this story, and her family put it back together for me in the love and support they gave her. I was totally invested in this story about the time she arrived in Bulgaria. First I fell in love with the little town she was staying in and felt like I was there with her in the way this author described everything. Giovanni Russi might very well be up there in my favorite male leads… He was simply amazing even with his understandable trust issues. Then Lucca…Sigh…Harleigh was so blessed to meet these 2 and I can’t say enough about how these relationships were naturally born. They weren’t rushed and felt real in how they progressed both in different ways and for different reasons.
Towards the end as the twists and turns really blew up there were a few scenes that took my breath away and I had tears without even realizing.
I can not recommend everyone picking up this book enough, this was my first read by this author but I promise it will not be the last.

There is nothing better, in my opinion than a sexy sports romance book. Grant has a not so clean image and Emily is there to help him clean that up…. she will definitely give him a run for his money. The characters are so hot together and the chemistry is off the charts. This was a quick read for me since I could not put it down….This was an amazing addition to the With Me Series!!!! I absolutely love sports romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This book will get you hooked right from the beginning and you will not stop reading until the end. This is a sweet summer romance story. The story has a great backdrop for a summer romance. The characters are fully developed and believable. Have you ever had a summer fling? This book will remind you of one summer love. Kara just wants one more summer fun with her best friend Toby before she goes away to college. Enter in Bear, his father is pushing him into taking over the business. Well, Bear just wants to spend the summer skateboarding. What happens when Bear meets Kara? This summer will be their best summer. There will be some hard lessons but totally worth it in the end. Love in the Ropes by Aviva Vaughn is the first book in the Love in Action series. This is a fun and lighthearted book that is entertaining and from start to finish. Having only read the Beckoned series by this author it was great to read something that had an entirely different feel to it and showcased this authors talent in a new way. I thought the book was a great story with some highly entertaining characters. They had such a great chemistry between them even if they didn’t like each other to start off with. The whole book is well written and I found it really easy to get into. This is another great book by this author and I am looking forward to what comes next.

She’s No Cowgirl is the fifth book in the My Cowboy series by Brooke May. I haven’t read the rest of the books in the series and would say this can definitely be read as a stand alone book.
I really enjoyed this book, it’s an entertaining, light-hearted read. It has a wonderful storyline that was a different take on the usual sporting romance themes. The thing that made this story stand out for me was the characters. The female lead is strong, passionate, and isn’t afraid to chase her dreams. The chemistry between Kennedy and Hunter really kept me hooked. It wasn’t always smooth sailing for these guys, there’s plenty of challenges and drama that they faced throughout, but I was really rooting for them. I’m looking forward to reading the previous books in the series now.

This is a lighthearted fun YA contemporary romance which had me hooked from the start. ‘Kickflip Summer’ is a real summer romance with great characters in a lovely setting which had me feeling completely immersed in this novel whilst reading it. Best friends Kara and Toby want one last summer of fun together before they both head of to University. The pair get jobs at Blue Oaks Theme Park and are determined to have fun as well as work. However, Kara did not expect to be attracted to her new boss, but she then comes to the conclusion that a quick summer fling can’t hurt. Bear was happy to spend the summer teaching kids skateboarding until his Dad insisted that he return home and get serious about his future. Bear is unhappy at the thought of working at Blue Oaks Theme Park until he meets new girl Kara who’s there working over the summer. Kara literally knocks Bear off his feet and then he’s hooked and decides that he can handle a summer romance. Having been bought together by chance, both Kara and Bear discover in each other something they didn’t know they needed. Suddenly the summer seems to be to short for the couple and they must decide if their summer romance is just that, or something more. I loved this sweet romance and found the main characters very likeable and relatable, I was really hoping that Kara and Bear would get a happy ending. The storyline flows well and I like how the story is told from both Kara and Bear’s point of view and this made getting to know the characters easier. The wonderfully written narrative kept me happily turning the pages and the authors detailed descriptions really bought the setting alive, at times I felt as though I was in the theme park. A lovely romantic, enjoyable and engaging debut novel by Danielle Jacks.

I am such a mega fan of football romance novels it’s a bit much but I can’t get enough. When I saw these three were offered in a box set from one of my go to romance authors, Stephanie Queen, I knew I had to scoop it up ASAP. I wasn’t disappointed one bit either, these kept me glued to my kindle all weekend long and it was just what the doctor ordered to escape my funk. These have some of it all, romance, witty characters, drama, and of course some sassy love scenes. What more could you want?
PLAYING FOR MONEY: In this one we focus on Hunter Quintana. He is in quite the predicament and needs to stay out of trouble if at all possible, especially since he is on probation. Unfortunately, fate has another plan when he drops the coach’s daughter and a bad crush for her in his lap. This sucker was a fun read and I found myself giggling several times as I read and cheering for these two to get that happily ever after no matter what.
PLAYING FOR LOVE: Adding second chance romance into sports/football romance reads is seriously like sprinkling sugar on top and adding the cherry to your fav sundae. I loved this one so much as we followed Gabriel, the team’s star quarterback. His girlfriend and her bestie are about to make his steady and good life a bit more dramatic to say the least! This actually was my fav of the three books in this series and I’d totally read another Gabriel book any day!
PLAYING FOR KEEPS: In Playing for Keeps we get Tate’s story. The trope is one we see a lot of , enemies to lovers, but Queen really wrote this in a way that it was fresh and entertaining the whole way through. Tate and Chloe start off with a tumultuous start but I think the way to the end was well worth every second.

Phoebe Alexander has written this 4 book set. In this set of books, you will be able to take that fantasy ride through Spicetopia. You will find BDSM dungeons to fulfill their wildest fantasy. One you will only find in this boxed set. The characters are so realistic. I bet I know people just like them. I truly loved reading each and every one of the books in this series. You will not find any spoilers in my review. As you need to Read it to Believe it. Just know these are very hot and steamy, but fun to read. Don’t forget you will find some suspense within these books. Not everything will appear as easy as it sounds. Thank You Phoebe Alexander, job done well!
Grosse Pointe by Natalie Barnes was such a good story. I was drawn in just from the cover and then read the description. It takes place in the 1920s and it is very well written. The author does a great job of describing things, that I wouldn’t even have thought of. Such as the boys first seeing the statue of liberty, their first experience in a car, concern whether they will have electricity or indoor plumbing, and courting a girl in the 20s. Brek leaves his mom and home of Kilkenny, to board a boat to America when he is just 15 years old. He is lucky enough to make a friend on the ship, and they bond together and watch each other’s back. It is sort of a coming of age story, mixed with mild gangster life in early America. The book has a lot of slang, that I am not sure if its Irish slang or just of the times… That took me a bit to get used to and understand what they were saying. The words repeat so you get used to it and don’t even notice after a while. I recommend this book and can’t wait to read more by Barnes.

This is this author’s first book and I really enjoyed it, it came with all the emotions and sweetness I love in a book. The writing style was smooth and super easy to read.
I loved the characters and getting to know them, sometimes though I forgot how old they were as some of the parts made it seem they were older than they really were. That did not take away from the story though and I loved how they met and her best friend Toby was awesome!
This was an all around sweet read, I like that it didn’t jump into being an insta love type relationship and I was able to watch it grow.
I loved it and can’t wait to read more from this author!
