Having read previous books from this author I knew that I would have no problem diving into this read and thoroughly enjoying it, and I wasn’t wrong! I loved this book from page 1, it really was a great feel-good, rom-com that had you laughing out loud numerous times throughout and thoroughly enjoying the characters and following along on their journey. These characters were real, down to earth and funny and because of how great the characters are it made me not want to put this read down. This author definitely knows how to create an amazing read that really hooks you, and leaves you wanting more! I highly recommend this read, its not to be missed, and I can’t wait to read more from her!

Finding His Zen is a great short read by Tammy Mannersly. I had read another of Tammy Mannersly’s books recently (Drawn To Him) and really enjoyed it, so was looking forward to reading more of her work. Although Finding his Zen is just over 100 pages, the author has packed a great story into those 100 paged and I really enjoyed this book. Finding His Zen is a small town romance. When top swimmer Sebastian DuMont comes back to his home town to open a new leisure centre his thoughts of retiring and moving home are increased when he meets the lovely owner of the centre, Zenia Andino and is totally taken with her. She’s already a huge fan of his having had had posters on her wall as a teenager. Needless to say many obstacles are put in the way of the 2 of them trying to start a relationship with each other. In particular Sebastian’s horrid manager who I totally despised throughout the book and also Zenia’s sister who I also was not a fan of at all both were massive obstacles to Seb and Zen having their HEA. I really enjoyed this book. I loved Seb and Zen. Both are great characters that you can’t help but totally adore and want everything to work out for the pair. This was a great short read that I devoured in about 90 minutes and did not put down until I was finished.

After that fateful night Hunter has been trying to fight the demons from his past with trying to move forward. After working with Ava and Thomas for years he now has to ask for forgiveness or will there relationship be lost forever.
Thomas has always struggled with understanding what happened that night, what caused Hunter to run for the hills and because of that his relationship with Ava had fizzled out over the years, but when a letter and a box of letters appears on his doorstep can he find it in his heart to forgive and forget and get back the only people he has ever truly loved.
The first book in this series was brilliant but I think I loved this book more, Ava is such a great strong character within the first book you know there must be a story behind her coldness. The three of them together have great chemistry and although the story in arced with Shattered the first book it does not loss its own flow for their story.
I can’t wait to read the other books in this series and with there being other siblings that are just as interesting in Ava and Gabe I can’t wait.

This was such a fresh take on paranormal romance that I greatly enjoyed! It’s a quick and light read, full of laugh out loud humor. It had a good dose of spooky feels to it also! Easy to squeeze into a lazy afternoon and highly recommended for the season.

I love when couples aren’t picture perfect for one another in every way and that’s exactly what India Kells gave us with True Bastard. The love in this book is unlikely and unexpected, but it really works. The supporting characters were really well developed, also! While this is book 4, it can be read as a stand-alone.

I loved reading the book Rookie Moves: A Quick Snap Novella by Tarrah Anders. It is a romantic novella that I fell in love with from the beginning. I love the characters of Grant Toolson and Emily Masterson. Grant is a rookie that is attracting a lot of attention. What will happen when he attracts the attention of Emily? Emily is the mayor’s daughter. While she knows how she is supposed to act, when she meets Grant, she finds herself showing him the real her. Emily and Grant have intense chemistry together. What does the future hold for them? Read this book to find out. I love how Emily is a young woman who knows what she likes. She is intelligent, strong, determined, and independent. Grant is a young man who has a past however is looking forward to his future in football. I grew to care about both Grant and Emily with each chapter that I read. There are romantic moments included in this story. I also enjoyed the bantering back and forth between Emily and Grant. Don’t miss out on an amazing story that you will not want to put down until you have finished the last page. I highly recommend reading it.

I loved reading the book Love On The Ropes (Love In Action Book 1) by Aviva Vaughn. It is a story that is romantic and humorous. It is a story that hooked me in from the beginning and I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. I love the characters of Clint Davenport and Erin Hung. When they are in the same place there is electricity and chemistry like you wouldn’t believe. There are also times when they clash. Will they give each other and a relationship a chance or will they push each other away? Read this book to find out. I love that Erin is a woman who is independent and ambitious. She is up to the challenge of getting a promotion. Clint is a man who may be on public radio however not many know of the tragedy that haunts him. He is taken aback by his intense feelings for Erin. I grew to care about Clint and Erin with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to be happy and rooting for their success in all they wanted to accomplish. There are also secondary characters that I enjoyed reading. The author does an amazing job of making both the story and the characters come to life on the pages. Some moments will make you laugh and others that will touch your heart. Don’t miss out on an endearing and entertaining book. I highly recommend reading it.

I loved reading the book Grosse Pointe by Natalie Barnes. It is the story of a young man, Brek O’Brien. The book takes place in 1926 and it tells a story about drugs and trouble. It is also a story that includes the light that Brek has been searching for in the person of a young woman named Gabriella. Brek is a young man who does what he has to survive. Gabriella is a young woman who is beautiful and intelligent. What does the future hold for Gabriella and Brek? This is a story that has emotional moments as well as heart-pounding and suspenseful scenes. I grew to care about Brek and Gabriella with each chapter that I read. The author does a wonderful job in weaving a tale that made me get lost in another time. The story is also written in such a way that the story and characters come alive on the pages. Don’t miss out on a journey that is at times heart-pounding and suspenseful. I would highly recommend reading it.

This story got better and better as it moved along. I struggled at first getting into the story and the characters (although I do like Penny’s name and her sisters). It just seemed stilted and I ended up skimming and reading dialogue only. But as the story got more and more interesting I couldn’t put it down. It left me wondering what was going to happen with, after and during each date.
I ended up liking Penny and George. They really went through some stuff and I wondered if they ever would come out the other side together. I think George is my favorite. While at times he is a jerk he really has some insightful comments and ideas. When these two kiss….it’s explosive!
While the sisters are helpful I didn’t feel any family connection between them. That’s what I mean by stilted. Just that they were their and the conversation just didn’t flow.
Overall it’s a good read! Interesting and made me chuckle a time or two. The connection between the George and Penny is electric at times.

This story begins with Julie Jensen writing to her sister to tell her that she has moved to England with the family of the children that she looks after. It is a surprise to herself that she made the decision to go and that she is looking forward to the challenge of living somewhere completely different to her life in the midwest of America. We join her as she moves into her accommodation in East Grinstead at the Saint Hill mansion which holds the international headquarters of the Church, who the family work for.
She is signed in and told where she will be living, which turns out to be one of the outlying cottages and not the mansion, as she hoped, once she has lugged her enormous suitcase of belongings there, she meets Sheila who she will be living with, Sheila helps her to settle in and takes her on a tour of the grounds.
As Julie settles into her routine of childcare during the day and her artwork for the church at night, she slowly gets used to the changes and differences she is encountering, although, she is enjoying meeting the people who pass through from all around the world and learning about their cultures and personalities, be that during work, where they enjoyed meals, in the old ballrooms where they could enjoy hobbies and leisure time, or at the parties which the Church throw on weekends she makes friends and flirts with some of the men, but only one really catches her eye. She was also enjoying the freedom to walk around the surrounding countryside, villages and scenic areas, as well as exploring the mansion and the surprises it hid.
This is where these relationships all start to develop and other opportunities come Julie’s way, however, not all of these opportunities are equal, some good and some bad, but all are things which turn her life around and as she continues life with the church and the new places she visits because of this, her life changes in ways she could never have imagined.
This is a story which leads you around the world in a flurry of emotions and excitement, where choices are made, relationships develop and break down, love and loss cause disruption and all of these things create a journey worth reading and exploring.

This was a great but quick read as its a novella. We get to know Grant and Emily quickly and just enough to like them pretty quickly. I loved that they didn’t know who each other were and their status meant nothing to either of them. And even despite some secrets they found out they ignored them and carried on. Great read highly recommend this series and novella.

Once again we are entranced by another Bastard! True Bastard is Book 4 in the Dark Sparrows series by India Kells. Liam Harker is one of the brothers that is ready to take down his father for all that it costs. Problem number one…he is a cop. He has been tasked to go through his father’s financials but in order to do so he is going to need some help. Here comes problem number two…his help is newbie nun who just happens to have a talent in numbers. And the final problem…he has an attraction to said nun. Sister Catriona Walsh is just about to take her vows to become a full-fledged nun when she is asked to help Liam go through the financials. I would definitely read the other books first as they contain information to keep you informed about what has happened previously. I loved this book as I loved the others and I really hope that there is another book in the series so we can finish out the brothers. I just love all the character and how they interact with each other. It is such an adventure to see this series unfold and this book didn’t disappoint!

This was a quick one sitting read. I truly love this author and have read many of her books. I’m not normally a big fan of any kind of books that revolve around sports which is why I was almost hesitant to pick it up, but then I thought twice about it because..I mean…It’s Tarrah LOL
I’m so glad I gave this a shot. I laughed out loud a few times and really loved the whole concept of this story. Grant and Emily were awesome and I loved the bond that they formed, but is this bond enough to get them through when secrets start to come out?
The only reason I gave this book 4 stars is because I just wanted more, what I got was awesome so no complaints there, I just would have loved it if the book was longer. I love this author’s writing style and I’m in kind of a book slump right now and this was just what I needed to actually feel what I was reading.

I enjoyed this romance comedy. I have read quite a few books by this author, this one ranks up with one of my favorites by her. She rights with lots of heart and soul. Her stories are well written and pull you in right from the start. This book is no different. The characters are connectable and made the story feel real. I had no issues putting myself in the story with Erin and Clint. They made the story easy to read and engaging. Clint is an ex-pilot and she is a marketing manager. What will happen when the only way for her to get a raise is to work with this arrogant man? I enjoyed watching them grow throughout the story. Their banter back and forth made me giggle a few times. They have such great chemistry. I found myself hoping they would see what is right in front of them and get their HEA. Is romance what they both need? I really enjoyed their characters and what they brought to the story. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this book. I have read all of this author’s books, they just keep getting better and better. I loved how each of her books built on the previous one. This is the third book in this series and I highly suggest reading the previous books in the series to help enhance your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story that is written with heart and soul. The characters made the story pop off the pages as they bring their lives to life. In this story we get to see Giovanni and Serena. Giovanni is the next in line to take over the casino and resort. Serena is also the love of his life. He must learn that life has challenges and throw you curveballs even if they mean life and death. What happens in this story you will need to read but you don’t want to miss it. I highly recommend this book and this author.

You have been an orphan and been shown love within the church and shown compassion will she be able to unmelt the cold heart and show love to a lost soul.
Catriona has lived her life in a sheltered convent but when she recieves to call to action will she be able to put aside the love she feels for a man she can’t have.
Liam is broken as one of the bastard sons of Finch he is trying to get them rest of his brothers to get him legitimately, so when he starts digging within his father’s finances will Catriona be able to find the missing piece to get the sadistic man Finch.
Kai and Liam were my favourite brothers within this series so far and I loved that they both get books, the chemistry between these two characters jumps off the page like all the stories so far. I love the way the story has arced through all four books but they are brilliantly enough to read as stand alone books also, but to be honest who would as they are brilliant and full of twists and turns can’t wait to read the next book, please please please Oz and Sasha would be appreciated.

This is a quick read and quick love. We meet Zenia (love that name) who meets her teenage crush. Problem is her sister steps up and claim she is dating the Olympic champion. So do toes get stepped on or does someone relent? I liked Seb. He seemed very down to earth and relatable. His agent however I thought was slimy and mean.
Overall it made me smile. Plus there is that first kiss….so hot! Really first kisses are my favorite to read and this one is pretty good. This is enjoyable.

True Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel #4) by India Kells was a good 4 star read and can be read as a stand alone.
Liam was injured on the job and is still working on bringing his father down, along with his brothers. Knowing that they need some additional help, we meet Catriona. As soon as Liam meets her there are some instant sparks. There is only one problem, Catriona is a nun.
Will she be able to help Liam? Can Liam stay away from Catriona and keep it professional?
These two have similar childhoods, Catriona was an orphan raised by nuns and Liam was raised by his uncle. There is so much going on, you are on the edge of your seat. The author does a great job with her writing. We get suspense, danger, romance and so much more.
Overall this was a great read. All of the characters added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great read that pulls you in, 1-click and get started today. I will warn that there is a scene that could be a trigger for some. I look forward to reading more from this series and author.

I found it to be fast paced and I finished in one sitting. Loyda is an investigator who is willing to do whatever needs to be done to capture the culprits. Al “ Big Al” black markets body parts. These two have chemistry between them that’s for sure. What happens when Loyda is being accused of murder? There’s only one person who can help prove her innocents. I will immediately start by saying for me I’m not sure I would have connected to the story without having first read the previous book in the series. That said, this book was an easy read. The storyline in general was very emotional, maybe more than I anticipated. You anticipate explicit scenes to be part of this book just from the synopsis. However, that aside, the emotional struggle was what really connected. A quick and easy read that definitely was set up to continue in a third book.

The Body Collector (Bad Boys of Space) by Landra Graf
This is a book I enjoyed reading. This was a fast paced story full of action, danger, romance, and wonderful characters. This book can be read as a standalone but I think you should read them all because I have and I think they are all great reads. The author kept me captivated with the twists and turns and attention to detail. I liked how the relationship progressed between Loyda and Big Al. Will they be able to find out who is behind the mass disappearances? I very much enjoy this author’s writing style. I recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this much more than I expected. The story is wonderful and hits all the right spots. The characters are larger than life. I had a love/dislike relationship with them over the course of the book. Loyda causes a lot of problems for Alexander and his crew always pushing forward.
I love listening to Alexander’s thoughts pertaining to Loyda. He is very wiley in how he goes about getting her. He also has a happy go lucky attitude. He seems cool calm and collected but underneath his wheels are spinning. Looking for other avenues. This is one guy to keep an eye on.
I loved the nod to the other book in the series. I hoped because Big Al is the brother of Toni we would see them. Wish granted!
Overall an excellent story. This author is able to weave characters that I come to care about. I can’t wait for more from her.

I was anxious to read the story as we saw just a little bit of these characters in Gabe’s book. Sadly, I really struggled with the connection between these three characters. It was hard to *feel* that they really felt anything for each other besides sexual attraction. I wish maybe we could’ve had some snippets of them growing up together so you could see that they had more than just a sexual connection with each other.
The story definitely got better once we were past the second half. There was some action going on and other stuff happening which was nice to read. Sorry people, but I just got tired of any time that two or three of these characters were in a space together it immediately went to sex every single time. More character building would make this a more palatable book in my opinion. The author did a good job with Hunters character and his issues.
This is a great family and I did enjoy Gabe’s book. I can easily feel the affection that the family has with each other. The remaining siblings could be great books in the future. I look forward to reading more about this Rhodes family.

That Incredible Kiss by Tamara Ferguson is the third book in the Kissed by Fate series. This is a brilliant example of a well written, romantic story that has everything in it you could want. The author has done an amazing job of leading you to believe you know what the story is going to be about only to surprise you as you get further into the story. I loved the relationship between Ashley and Brian as well. It was so sweet to watch it developed throughout the story and I couldn’t help but get behind them. I found that I read this book pretty quickly because I became so immersed in it I completely lost track of time and ended up reading it all in one sitting. This is a great addition to the series and another book by this author that I have thoroughly enjoyed.

This book is one steamy and emotional read! I was so ready for book two of the Rhodes Family series from Lisa Wood as soon as I finished Shattered, book one. I personally would recommend that you read the first book before jumping into this one because it really sets you up and gives you the background of these amazing characters. The emotional side of this read really tugs at the heartstrings as you wait in anticipation for the next steamy scene, and this book has plenty of those to keep the reader fanning themselves most of the time. I love how it is written in a way that is believable and not overstretched or exaggerated, something I struggle with when reading about throuples because I personally live in one myself. You can tell the author has respect for the lifestyle and that makes a huge difference for me as a reader. I cannot wait to see what will come next for the Rhodes family, I am sure it will be one I cannot put down either!

Rock Star on the Verge by Lara Ward Cosio is the 9th book in the Rogue series. This book can be read as a standalone book and is a fantastic addition to the series. These characters all feel so familiar now that picking up a new one of these books is so easy. It takes absolutely no thinking about to become a part of their story once again. I love the whole coming of age theme that ran through this book, especially considering it was done from two different types of people – one of whom was “coming of age” in a completely different want to what you would usually think of. I thought the journey that both Conor and Donal go on was a powerful one that you couldn’t help but connect with. This author always does such a great job of creating lasting and in depth stories and this book is just another example of that. From the moment I picked it up I enjoyed it and it was one of those books that I had to finish all in one go. A brilliant book and an amazing series.

Wild Bastard is a great second chance romance with a kick. Isabel is a strong, smart, self-made woman. I loved her character. Getting to know Kai was interesting, but I will say that of the brothers so far, I connected with Kai’s backstory the least – which is odd because I usually connect to military characters pretty strongly. It might be because we didn’t really get to see how his past affects him to the extent that we see it with Archer and Aleksei. It’s mentioned a couple of times, but we don’t see the intense emotional toll so it feels superficial. One thing I loved about the story is that Isabel chose to hang onto a piece of her past and used it strategically. Her relationship with her mother regarding that piece is awesome. Overall, this is an amazing, intense story that will grab a hold of you and won’t let go.
