Just what I needed to read! This was a great story. I loved the characters, they all felt so real. I felt connected to everyone in the story. Reading about Sophie made me wish for a grandma like that. I loved everything about this book, it was easy to get lost in another world. Definitely recommend!

Gabe and Katrina are two sex demons who have opposite ideas when it comes to what people need in a relationship. What comes first, the intimacy or the emotion? Plus, can demons even fall in love? You’ll find out as you watch the relationship between Gabe and Katrina unfold. Funny and fast-paced, this book was a great read.

This book is possibly one of the best paranormal romances that I have ever read. While this is book six in the series if you haven’t read the previous books, you can moat certainly read this one as a stand alone. This paranormal romance is fun, sexy, and humorous. The plot and the characters are phenomenal, and the word building is increidble. Katrina has a phenomenal dating app going in New Orleans and is enjoying her success, but what happens when sexy Gabe enters the picture? Will sparks fly? Will there be perfect chemistry? You’ll have to read this increible paranormal romance to find out for yourself.

Swipe Right to Bite was a cleverly fun read from start to finish. I love a book that has me smiling ear to ear and this stand alone read had that and more. The storyline was unique and fun all the while fast paced. This is the first book I’ve read out of the New Orleans Nocturne series and not once did I feel confused or out of place. I am definitely interested in reading more from this author/series in the future.

Such a fun read right from the start! This is my first read in this series, but I did not feel lost at all, so I don’t think its necessary to read the others before this one. That being said, I definitely intend to catch up cause this book was great!
Katrina is a fiery succubus who is trying to fly under Satan’s radar to eventually be free from him, making her one frustrated demon! Gabe is an incubus who made a deal for his freedom, making him a little limp (IYKYK). Its too bad for them that their ventures cause them to clash, making New Orleans far too small for both. On the bright side, their clash definitely makes this an interesting read that you wont want to put down. The real question is, are they fooling each other, or themselves? Dun, dun, dun!!!
Seriously, if you are looking for a hilarious, steamy, and lite read with an HEA, pick up this book!

I have been following this series from the beginning and could not wait to read this next installment. The hilarious style of writing, along with some steamy scenes and such memorable, unique characters are what really make this series so wonderful. The author has hit another home run with this one. Katrina and Gabe are great main characters, so good each on their own, but their interactions with each other are so much better. They are flawed, but they try. This is what makes them so believable. They love, although at least one of them isn’t quite sure exactly what that is. Putting a succubus and incubus together in this way was genius on the author’s part. The story around them is so good and fun, I could not put it down.
This book is not meant for the kiddies, but if you like your Paranormal Romance with steamy comments/scenes and snarky characters that aren’t afraid to swear, you need to pick up this book. It can be read as a stand-alone but I recommend the whole series because they are just that good!

I love the little town of Parker, having grown up in a small town (that is now not so small), I feel like I am going back to my hometown. Colleen is a hairdresser and most of her clientele are of the older generation. Brant is a nurse, who moves to a rural town to practice for three years so that his student debt can be forgiven. I loved the chemistry between the two and the real-life hurdles that can come from living in a small town. Will Brant be willing to stay? Will Colleen be willing to open her heart to a man she feels is just a short timer in her town? This was a book full of love, with some twists and turns that made me turning the pages to find out what would happen next.
This was a really good book! This is not the first I’ve read from this author, but this is the first book I’ve read from this series, which is a standalone. I wasn’t sure at the beginning of this story how I would feel, but once I had the midway point I was obsessed and could barely put it down. This book made me chuckle, had me rooting for the demons and was just hard to put down. This was a steamy romance but this book is more focused on the emotional side of things than the physical. This was a quick and easy read and I highly recommend it! I don’t think Author ever disappoints!

Swipe Right To Bite is the text-book definition of enemies to lovers. Katrina, a sex demon, is trying to redeem herself by refraining from sexual desires. In order to stick by her oath she creates a dating app that is just for hooking up. Instead of sex being her life, she makes other people’s sex lives her business – literally. Then Gabe, a retired sex demon, comes to New Orleans teaching emotional intimiacy over just phyisical attraction. Katrina is furious and plans to stop him at all costs. Gabe wants his business to thrive and will make any deal he can to make it happen. The two clash in a way neither truly expected.
This book is not one I would usually pick up. Supernatural-romances with an emphasis on enemies to lovers is not my usual flavor. With that being said, I completely lost myself in the world Carrie Pulkinen crafted for her readers! I laughed more than I ever have while reading a book. I found myself cheering for both Gabe and Katrina. Each character found a place in my heart. Mostly, I enjoyed myself. It has been a really long time since I read a seriously fun book.
If you are in need of a sexy romance with devilishly attractive characters or even just a light hearted book then his book is absolutely for you!

I don’t think I’ve read a book like this one in a long time. Most romance novels seem to base the relationships around sex. This one allowed the characters to experience the emotional aspects of their relationship first. It was fun to see Katrina evolve from a demon who “is evil” into a denom who showed emotion.

I loved reading CC and Brants story. I’ve been waiting patiently for CC as she’s always been my favorite and was not disappointed! She deserves all the love sent her way and the biggest hea. I love small town stories living in a small town myself. If you enjoy them too this is definitely the series for you! So fun and extremely cute.
I have loved all these stories. The author does an amazing job of mixing paranormal and romance and making each story unique and different. The characters in this story are what really make it come alive and be believable. This is definately a story of friends to lovers.
In this story we meet Katrina and Gabe. Both of them are sex demons, both of them are trying to live life better to make up for their pasts. Gabe is free of Satan’s rule thanks to a agreement he made, however Katrina is not. Katrina sets up a app to help supernatural beings connect with people purely for a physical connection. The app was very popular until Gabe came along teaching about emotional and romantic connections. These leads to Katrina and Gabe to butt heads. Gabe wants to prove to Katrina that he doesn’t mean her harm and things the best way to do this is gain her freedom from Satan. However there is always a catch. To get Katrine’s freedom and Gabe’s manhood back he needs to make Katrine fall in love with him.
Katrine had a similar plan but hers is to show Gabe that physical connections is more important that emotional.
Bit both their plans go wrong when the feelings they share start off as fake and then change into something very real that neither of them expected.

There are two demons in New Orleans. One runs a dating app for the supernatural. The other is giving lectures on how to be intimate without the sex. When they start to undermine each other’s business, one goes to the devil for a deal. Things go haywire from there. Opinion This is the sixth book in the series but only the first one I have read. I enjoyed it so much, I plan on going back and reading the first five. I had no problems while reading this as a stand alone. I presume that some of the couples in the book are from previous books. The book itself was a fabulous, laugh a minute ride. Every chapter was jam packed with hilarious happenings. The conversations between the two demons were full of animosity that would make you chuckle. I truly enjoyed this book.

This is the sixth book in this series, but it can be read as a standalone. A fun, humorous read! I loved Katrina’s spiciness. I also enjoyed the focus Gabe had on building relationships on feelings and trying to make it deeper than the physical, and appreciated that it wasn’t instalove. It’s got an enemies-to-lovers feel, but in a fun way.

Books like these always pull on my heartstrings and make me wish I grew up in a small town. This is a slow burn, clean romance, but a mature one. There’s some hunting at sexual stuff but no details. CC and Brant couldn’t be a better couple. I love everyone else in the town as well. I especially love that CC has friends that don’t let her make bad decisions. This is book 3 but can definitely be read as a stand alone.

This is the first book in the Parker Lake Series, but it can be read as a standalone. I loved this book! It’s a beautiful story about two slightly broken people helping each other heal and falling in love. Annie who just lost her Grandmother (the person who raised her) and Wyatt who recently returned home from three tours overseas and is having trouble adjusting. Can Wyatt and Annie move past their issues and be together? Read this book and find out!

This is the third book in the Parker Lake series, although it can be read as a standalone. This is CC and Brant’s story. Brant is working in Parker Lake at the clinic for three years to get his student loans paid off. CC thinks Brant is out of her league, after she finds out he’s not, she thinks he’ll leave when his time at the clinic is up. Brant has to choose between staying in Parker Lake or going back to the city to be closer to his mom, who recently had a health scare. These books keep getting better and better as the series go on. I love catching up on the characters from the other books and learning more about them. I can’t wait for Karen’s story!

Seriously, the author has created a place that is truly amazing. The characters are all unique and quirky and just down-right loveable. Swipe Right to Bite is the most recent book in the New Orleans Nocturnes series, but can be enjoyed freestanding. This series has overlapping characters, but they are all written in a way that you can read independently. I love this book, it is funny and kept me hooked. This is the most… adult themed… out of the series, since the main characters are Succubus and Incubus, which are sexual by nature. So reader beware, mature audiences. That aside, this book is hilarious. The author has a great sense of humor and the characters are wonderful. Katrina is independent and fun. I was happy to see Gabe was a nice guy, apparently nice guy demons are a thing… Their relationship has a funny start, and they quickly go from enemies to friends to lovers. They are very witty and this book puts a paranormal twist on a common love story. Highly recommend and cant wait to read more in this series… I’m invested!

Katrina and Gabe’s story is full of chemistry and sweetness. With well rounded and relatable characters in such a hilarious read, I rated five stars. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well. I started with this book but I will be going back and reading the other books in the series.

I was so excited to take another journey into the New Orleans Nocturn Series and this book was just what the doctor ordered. I have read this series from the beginning and all I can say is it just keeps getting better. I like how it is paranormal and funny with just the right mix of romance to boot. The characters are endearing and the storlines unique. I didn’t want to put this book down. I also enjoy how diverse the character base is and that all Supes are included shifter alike. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite authors.

New Orleans Nocturnes is a great series and this book is no expection to it. Katrina is a succubus looking for her own freedom so. She’s been behind a massive dating app for supernatural to join the dating market. Gabe chacter is cheeky and quirky and naughty. I throughly enjoyed the tongue in cheek witty banter and humour.

This is book three of the series and can be read as a standalone. I highly recommend reading the whole series because each book is fantastic!
Colleen is Parker’s only hairstylist. She’s not had much stability in her life and lacks confidence so she really tries to steer clear of many people. Brant has never had any ties accept for his adoptive mother. If he can stay in Parker for three years, his school loans are free and clear. He’s sure he will walk away after three years no problem. Best laid plans and all that. Brant and CC meet after an auction date is purchased for CC. Both of them have baggage that weighs them down. Will these two work passed the demons of their past or will it all be too much?
I really enjoyed this book, much like the others in the series. I couldn’t put it down! CC struggles with confidence but works to help everyone else feel great about themselves. She’s so selfless. I really enjoyed both CC and Brant as characters. I highly recommend!
Fun, flirty and fabulous What an entertaining read. Katrina is so funny and with such an angry streak and filthy mouth she had me in stitches. Satan in all his villainy was great and Gabe was intriguing. With miscommunications and uncontrollable feelings, the stage is set for an enjoyable romcom ride. A great afternoon read. Recommend.

Colleen “CC” Chandler is a hairstylist in small-town Oklahoma. CC has lived there most of her life. She doesn’t plan on going anywhere. CC owns the salon and another building that she has plans for, if she can ever get the money.
Brant Billings is in the same smalltown but not because he wants to be. Brant has found a way to get his student loans forgiven, spend 3 years in rural America where there is limited access to health care. He is two and half years in. Brant noticed the extremely attractive hairstylist shortly after getting to town but she, CC, seems to avoid him.
Brant agrees to partake in a bachelor auction that the town is holding to raise funds to help CC make her dream for her extra building come true. This is just the start of CC and Brant being in the same place at the same time. As their mutual attraction grows, so does their friendship. Will this be the beginning of something special? When his time is up, is Brant gone?
This endearing tale of love and finding more than what you expect is cleverly written. The colorful cast of characters grab you from the start. The townsfolk keep the excitement and the laughs coming. Be prepared to laugh out loud, like milk (or water, in my case) coming out of the nose laughing! I am just jumping into this series but I plan to make a u-turn and find out what I missed. Great read with a little steam!!!
