Love at First Haunt (Haunted Ever After Book 1) by Carrie Pulkinen
4 stars

Love at First Haunt is the first installment in her Haunted Ever After series. Logan is an empath but he doesn’t know. All his life he knew that he could read people’s emotions and now , on top of that, he has a ghost in his house. Everything is driving him to the point of insanity. He meets Alison and his life changes. She teaches him how to block his empath abilities and shows him what live really is. He falls fast and hard for her. One tiny problem, she’s a psychic who’s afraid of ghosts. How can they have their happily ever after when she would have to face her fears? Facing her fears means putting her life at risk.

I enjoy reading Ms. Pulkinen’s books because they are light romantic comedies with a paranormal twist. I noticed with series, she writes on a more serious note. Although there isn’t as much comedy as her other books, it is still filled with romance, wonderful characters and this time, mystery and danger. While the romance blossoms fairly quickly, the suspense has a slow build up that will leave you breathless. This is a great book and a fantastic start to her new series. I am looking forward to book two.

This is a collection of many different Steamy Romance stories. Some of the short stories in this collection were to my taste others were not. There is a bit of something for everyone in this Steamy Anthology. As an avid reader Of hot romance I was delighted to find I loved stories that I wouldn’t have usually read and I so enjoyed new genres I had never thought I would find or enjoy. A-Hole by Phoebe Alexander is phenomenonal well written and a bit steamy.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Third Time’s a Ghost (Haunted Ever After Book 3) by Carrie Pulkinen was about romance and the unknown. There is so much romance and drama that is ready to be unfolded. The paranormal is a nice bonus in this love story. Ghost and psychic this story has it all and so much more.

Erica Miller, a psychic medium was started a theater business and started having a run-in with ghosts. Gage Dawson, a Paranormal investigator and IT. He happens to suck at love when he reconnects with his childhood friend can a love blossoms between them. Will they have the love story develop, or will the spirit make them turn their back.

This is the third book in the series, and I loved every single page of it. The love story had me all excited, and I couldn’t wait to get to the end.

A Hole by Phoebe Alexander is the first book in the Alpha Bet Guys series. A Hole will have you laughing and swooning for these characters.

Ever been nervous about a comedy show because you didn’t want the comedian to pick on you? How about dating a comedian and worrying about being the punch line? Well, meet Ella Craig and Ace Bennett and I dare you not to laugh.

I don’t think I have read a book by this author that I didn’t like. I can’t wait for more books in this series!

OMG!! What a way to take a great short book and make it better. I love how the narrator just brought this book to life. I really found that this added and made the story better. I could so picture the whole story in my mind.

I really like how the narrator uses expression and it really adds to it. I just love the fact that the story comes to life through the voices. I really could relax and get into listening.

Desperately Seeking Sixty Nine (The Green Room Chronicles, Book One) AUDIO BOOK by J.D. Frettier

What a fun and quirky book. I’m asking myself why I haven’t been listening to more books before now. I don’t honestly have an answer. This one had me chuckling and shaking my head a lot. I really enjoyed listening and Bonnie is something else. She meets and falls in love with Peter Hampton in 1969. But she dies one after having hot sex with her husband now finds herself in the “green room”. The Green Room is not really hell and certainly not heaven. She finds herself having a hard time coming to terms about leaving her soul mate behind. Find out if she gets her HEA in the afterworld. You guys this is a must read/listen which ever you prefer. But you won’t be disappointed either way.

Linda Gets Her Groove Thing (The Green Room Chronicles, Book Two) AUDIO BOOK by J.D. Frettier – Review by Piper Foster

The Green Room I want to go there when I die. I have noticed one similarity in book audios. These women like a bit of action right. It has dreams any woman would want for their bodies. I loved that we are back with Bonnie and Dee these ladies help Linda’s transaction. For all the fun and giggles you’ve got to listen to this funny sexy story. I don’t want to ruin anything for you.

I was a little worried when I read the description of this story because it didn’t really grab me, and I thought that I was going to be bored. Happy to report that I wasn’t, this story is funny and sweet and absolutely delivers on its promise of a good laugh. I actually think it’s quite difficult to write genuinely funny stories, but Alexander nails it.
Ace is a comedian and Ella Craig is a bank teller, not exactly what everyone would call a match made in heaven, but Ace thinks she’s wonderful and wants her to realise how wonderful they could be together. He invites her to one of his comedy shows and bets her that if he can make her laugh then she has to go out for a drink with him. But Ace’s four friends, with their best intentions and somewhat questionable advice, may threaten to put a spanner in the works for their budding romance.
I genuinely liked this book and Alexander writes her characters with flair, Ace’s narrative was quippy and fun and was perfect for a cheeky comedian. With Ella’s narrative her you definitely got her sensitive side and her reluctance to trust people, and she is funny too. It’s a lot subtler and less in your face than Ace’s which I think I preferred. Again, I recommend this story and would read more of Alexander’s work especially if I want a laugh.

A Hole (Alpha Bet Guys Book 1)A Hole by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Ace is just getting his career on the comedy circuit but once he sees Ella in the bank he feels he needs to get to know this woman.

Ella is flattered with the attraction and accepts the bet which Ace has placed down but when her friend explains that Ace maybe a player, Ella’s decision changes.

This story is full of humour and is a brilliant short story, the characters are well developed as usual and although this is a short story it does not feel like that, you want to know more. The story revolves around Ella and Ace, with him trying to make her laugh but with her insecurities on high alert as to will she be the butt of the joke.

I love Phoebe’s writing style and this is not the first book I have read and it surely will not be the last one.

This is a romantic comedy and comes in just under 100 pages. This story follows Ace, a comedian, and Ella, a bank teller. Ace makes a bet with Ella, but her friends warn her off and now she is curious if he really is the a hole they tell her he is. But can he prove her friends wrong? This is definitely a book you can read in one sitting. The characters were great, and I found this book quite entertaining.

This is an enjoyable read. The writing made me wonder what was going to happen next. All of the characters are solid. Each has a secret and they worry that the other will not like what they learn. I enjoyed them meeting and everything that came after.

The secondary characters were wonderful. They are interesting and fun and add to the story. I hope we get to see more of them in the future.

Overall I Enjoyed this and zipped through it fairly quickly. I look forward to reading more.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun and steamy novella by one of my favourite authors, Phoebe Alexander. I loved the main characters, comedian Ace Bennett and Ella Craig, the lady he invites to his comedy show. Ace then dares Ella that if he succeeds in making her laugh she has to have a drink with him. I was really cheering Ace and Ella on hoping they would get a happy ending after lots of meddling from friends and a number of misunderstandings. This was a lovely romance with a bit of drama and plenty of steamy scenes and a chemistry which sizzled off the page. All of which resulted in me reading the story in one sitting. An enjoyable and engaging short read, perfect for some escapism.

I read A Hole by Phoebe Alexander which was first released in Big City Heat Anthology. This story is a good reminder that friends are so important. And Ace’s friends are hilarious! I hope there are more stories about them! Ella and Ace are the victims of a misunderstanding and friends with good intentions. Hopefully, those friends can help them figure it out.

This is a quick funny and steamy read which, while it is book 1 in the Alpha Bet Guys series, it can be read as a standalone.

Love at First Haunt was a fun mystery filled story. The author had a great play on words. Knew how to keep you engaged throughout the story. Allison is a physic that took a break due to a mental break down. Her character was great throughout most of the book. She was definitely trying to grow. Logan was on his way to going insane with his empath abilities. The ghost haunting his property were definitely not helping. They both have a lot of baggage but they find a connection. I enjoyed the flow of the story and the character growth. They knew what they were afraid of in the other person and worked to overcome it.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

A Hole is the first book in a new series by Phoebe Alexander. The series is called the Alpha Bet Guys. Each book is about 1 of a set of 5 alpha guys who like to make bets.
I’ve been a huge fan of Phoebe Alexander’s work for a couple of years now and just knew that I was going to love reading A Hole.
The ‘A’ in A Hole is Ace, a comedian who has a massive crush on the bank teller in the building he works in but the thing is her friends has told her he’s an A hole! But is he really?
This is a funny, hot steamy romance that I’m sure you’ll love if that’s the kind of book you enjoy. It is a novella so it’s not a long drawn out story. It’s fast and flows well and I can guarantee that you’ll be hooked to Ace and Ella’s story.

Yet again another 5 star read from Ms Alexander – I never bother reading the synopsis to her books now I just grab it and go because I know it’s going to be a great read and A Hole was no exception. It’s a great start to this new series and although one of this authors shorter books it was in no way lacking her sparkle. It was funny and entertaining, I loved the characters Ace and Ella, and they were so great to read about. Ace captured my heart form the beginning and I just knew Ella wouldn’t be able to resist him! I was rooting for them the whole way through the story!
I’m really excited for the next book in the series!! I highly recommend this book!!

A Hole is the first book in the new Alpha Bet Guys series by Phoebe Alexander. In typical Phoebe Alexander style this story was a fun, sexy, witty and very entertaining story. It’s a novella length contemporary romance/ romantic comedy, making it easy to read in one very enjoyable sitting.
Ace Bennett is trying to make a name for himself as a comedian. He meets Ella and we watch as he tries to win her over. Add some meddling friends to the mix, a few misunderstandings, a little angst, plenty of chemistry, humour, and a whole lot of heat- and this really made for a fun read.

I really enjoyed this story. This isn’t the first book I have read by this author but it is among one of my favourites. The characters are well written that you can’t help feel a connection to them. Add too this the usual steamy read by Phoebe and it was a book that keeps your gripped from the beginning.

I love the characters of Ella and Ace and the attraction that sizzles between them.
After Ace invites Ella to his show he makes a deal if he can make her laugh she has to have a drink with him. Cue the comedy. With friends interfering and misunderstandings will this couple every succeed in being together or will it just continue to be one big joke?

This book is all about assumptions and thinking someone is talking about one person and it turns out to be not the same person. The drama the characters face, I can imagine, happens everyday in real life around the globe. There was some comedy, drama, and a moment when I was really rooting for the underdog. I have yet to find a novel by Phoebe Alexander that I didn’t just love to death from beginning to end. I was super excited to get my hands on this first novel of a fun and romantic comedy series from her. A Hole kicks things off perfectly and brings us all the details that will hook us for the rest of the series. I typically worry with novellas that I just won’t have enough to thoroughly get to know the characters, but that is not the case here. We meet Ace and Ella and the journey they take to find their happily ever after. I found myself laughing out loud literally as I read this and came away feeling as if I made new friends. What will fate have in store for them? This is a great story that I highly recommend. You won’t regret picking up this romance story and you will want to find out what happens to Ace and Ella.
