This is the fifth book in Moore Family Saga and I simply loved this latest installment. The characters are strong and well written and I just love the storyline and the depth. This is a Paranormal Romance/Suspense all rolled into one. This author has really outdone herself with this book and I can’t wait to see what she has installed for us in her next book…

This book was amazingly captivating. I loved it. It gets steamy from the very beginning, which is great. The characters were beautifully written. I found myself lost in this book while reading. I didn’t want to put it down. Great way to start a series.

It’s a nice enjoyable story. It is easy to read and fast paced. The characters are good but my favorite is the female character. Watching how she tried to integrate with her fellow firefighters was interesting. A female working her way into a male dominated career. Always a good/bad time and her personality a plus. Male lead was good as well. I just didnt like him as much as the female.
I did struggle with the second portion of the story. This starts out with excitement then we travel back in time to the beginning of a relationship. After that gets figured out we go back to current-ish time. Problem is there was a lot of talking about characters we don’t know. So it easily lost my interest.
This is an okay read. A lot of this story focuses on the two main characters and we don’t get to like or dislike other characters. Maybe a look at some of these others would round out the story.

Roaring hot! This is the first book in the MetroGen Downtown series and it was scorching. Firefighter Leslie is working hard against the tide of chauvinism in the firefighting world. Footballer Trevor is at the peak of his career amongst big changes with his club. Neither were looking for a long term commitment. A romance with a very sharp edge and hot as sin sexy times, I found this a great afternoon escape.

WoooHOO! I found a new steamy fun author to devour! This is one I could NOT put down. Thankfully it was a short and very easy to devour read that only kept me up slightly past my bedtime lol. I was hooked right into Leslie and Trevor’s story and completely captivated by the way this one just rolled off the kindle like a television show. I see now this seems to be a thing, maybe we should have some producers read these books and take note because I was way more entertained than I have been in a long while with my typical medical television dramas that I normally love and devour I have absolutely been a diehard fan so this book was right up my alley when I discover Leslie was a female firefighter making her way in a mans world. It just really made her a fun character to follow and love. Trevor was relatable and loveable even being a football player jock. These two will have you loving love and wanting the heat! I can’t wait to see what will come next!!
This is quite a quick and steamy romance story that had seem enjoyable characters. The had a great chemistry between them and worked well together as the main characters. I struggled a little with the flow of the story. For some reason I didn’t quite connect with it. However the premise was there and for me the characters carried it through. An overall good story.
This series locked me in from the very beginning. I love the world that Sims created with the Moore family and I have loved reading the character and storyline development. It has a great balance between romance, suspense, a sprinkle of fantasy, and just great connection. I love that it all ties back to family. Just a great addition to the series and a great way to pull it all together. It can be read alone but is one that you will more greatly appreciate by starting at the beginning. This is one not to miss.

This paranormal suspense novel is the fifth book in the series and as someone who has not read the other book, you will not be disappointed. I am a big fan of the paranormal genre and at first I found that there seemed to be very little of it but things quickly heated up.
Miles and Bella Moore are newly married and have just had twins. He is a goal driven music executive and Bella is his chief marketing office for the company. But as usually happens, success comes with a price.
I loved the dynamic between all of the characters and the drama that unfolded throughout. I look forward to more books from this author.

This book is such a good book to a great series! I can feel it. I love the steam and romance the two main characters have. I couldn’t help, but blush during some of the steamy parts. I also love the way that the characters fought through everything obstacle that came their way and came out stronger. I can’t wait for the second book to come out! I’m sure it’ll be hard for me to put down like this one was!

Face the Fire is the 5th and final book in the Moore Family Saga series of books. This book continues with the story of Miles Moore who is driven to become successful with his own music empire. He is determined to let nothing, and nobody stand in his way for him to become mega successful. Bella, who is both his wife, as well as the Chief Marketing Officer of his company wants to help her husband succeed and realize his goals but finds that it is not always easy. Bella also wants to be successful with both business and family and struggles with the challenges of motherhood as well as being a successful career woman. She also faces constant struggles with juggling her relationship with Miles as both his wife and his business partner. Tensions rise when Bella is caught in an ongoing battle between Miles and one of proteges who is struggling with the demands that Miles is imposing on him as an artist. After being on the inside and discovering the lengths that other artists will go to within the music industry, Bella is fearful of what will result of a feud between Miles and his competitors. Once again, Miles and Bella’s love for one another and their relationship is put to the test. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire series of the Moore family saga. Each book builds up from the previous one, we learn more about the characters, and follow them through several tense moments. In Book 5 the plot thickens and the danger level intensifies. Bella and Miles are caught in a volatile and explosive situation that could mean the end for them in more ways than one. Although each book could be read as a standalone it is much better as a series read in sequential order and starting with Book 1. I highly recommend this series and this author!

A Moore Affair is book four in the Moore Family Sega series of books. Bella and Miles are together at last and are getting ready to get married. Bella feels ecstatic to be marrying the man that she loves beyond everything but at the same time can’t help but wonder if she’s ready to be the wife of someone so famous. Along with Miles’ fame comes not only the whirlwind tours but a fan base that that can be downright frightening at times. However, Bella chooses to put all her fear and doubts aside and makes the best of it because she is surrounded by her family.
After their wedding, Miles and Bella decide to honeymoon in Paris and Italy. Bella soon learns that Miles and his stage persona of Ari are two very different people all wrapped up in one little package which naturally makes her uneasy. Bella becomes doubtful and fearful of those that could break them apart and constantly worries that she is not enough for Miles. Will she be able to overcome the secrets that she unfolds and move forward with her relationship with Miles?
Book four answers more of the questions from the first few books and builds on the story of Miles and Bella. The characters of Bella and Miles were real, raw, and believable. They went through trials and tribulations that put their relationship to the test and as in any relationship they had to decide if they could survive the tests and be strong enough as a couple to endure it and come out stronger on the other side. The book did not disappoint as the Moore Family Sega unfolded. Although this book could possibly be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting with book 1 and working your way through the series. Each book starts off where the last one left off and unfolds more of the Moore Family Saga. Enjoyable read, I highly recommend!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters Leslie and Trevor. They really did have a great amount of chemistry between them and I was definitely rooting for them throughout the story. I really admired Leslie, she clearly loved her job but being a female firefighter came with its problems and she really worked hard to prove herself. Although this was a short story it definitely wasn’t short on detail and it had a great pace and flow. I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author again in the future.
I really enjoyed this short romance. Even though its a short story the passion is so hot and steamy and it jumps right off the pages.
Leslie is a firefighter with Firehouse 15. She had worked hard for her job and she is trying to earn the respect of her colleagues. What she doesn’t need or want is a man to change that. That is until she meets Trevor.
Trevor is a professional footballer. He’s used to women throwing themselves at him so when he meets Leslie with her cold almost uninterested ways he can’t help himself being drawn to her and wanting to know more.
The couple meet and have a one night stand. That’s all Leslie was after but now they have an attraction that neither of them can deny. Can they work their careers and relationship out? Will they get a happily ever after or will something in their jobs really mess things up for them?
Spicy and saucy, that’s what this book brings to mind. Kind of what you wish TV fire station shows could be. Leslie is already battling stereotypes trying to fit in to the Cleveland firehouse 15. She works with a bunch of chauvenistic jerks. Putting up with a lot of guff is parr for the course. Trevor is a gorgeous football player she meets at a Bob Ross paint class. The chemistry is just right and BANG!! the rest is history. They have a couple of pretty big challenges to get through but they do. Sacrifices are made. True love is shown and always wins. The story is well-written. I enjoyed the plot. Watching their relationship develop and them learn about each other was special. The characters were awesome. I felt like they could have been straight off a fire show. Well-done. I really enjoyed the book. I’m looking forward to reading more. I recommend you give this one a go.
This is the first book I have read by this author, and I enjoyed it. This romance is a short story. One amazing night with a wildcat firefighter was all it was meant to be. But he can’t stop thinking about her. Firefighting is her life, and no man will ever get in the way of that. It is full of humour sass and feisty attitudes with lots of push and pull, angst and frustrations. Grab a copy for a little afternoon delight.
Leslie McClunis is one of only a few women in the fire department. She has put up with a lot while putting in time at Firehouse 15. When she meets Trevor Hampton in a painting class she only meant for them to have one steamy night together. Trevor had other plans though and the rest as they say is history. Overall I did enjoy this book. This is the first book I’ve ever ready by this author and I do look forward to the rest of the series.
This was a a feel good romance that was sweet, steamy, and fun. Trevor and Leslie had a chemistry and connection that was not going away. Leslie was focused on her job as a female firefighter, and trying to show her team she is just as good as one of the men. Meeting Trevor and having their one night stand throws everything off. Trevor is sweet and possessive. He is a teddy bear Alpha type all rolled in one. As a successful defensive end in the NFL for Cleveland he is determine to make Leslie his. As he fights to show Leslie they are meant to be, Leslie battles the men of the firehouse and the ill treatment she continues to verbally and physically receive. Will Leslie and Trevor make it to find their HEA, or will her desire to prove herself be the downfall for them both?

A continuation of what’s happening in the five Mafia families of Chicago from the perspective of Enzo and Sophia. I continue to be amazed at the strength of the women and Sophia is no exception. Raised with three older brothers, I can just picture the mayhem in their house growing up. Enzo and Sophia have multiple obstacles to overcome including a psychopath Russian stalker and Enzo’s marriage contract to someone else. Another page turner that leaves you wanting more, I’m ready and excited to jump into the next book to see what else is in store for these families.
Five mafia families making up and ruling the city. Friends, family, and enemies all collide in this book. Lil and Max, who hid his identity from the Mafia, as Matt for much of the book, are a great couple with some crappy dads and a complicated past. I love Lil and her friends, also members of the Mafia family. Just them getting dressed is fun to read as you figure out how many weapons the girls can hide in how many pieces of clothing and accessories. Some steamy scenes between Lil and Max and some Mafia mayhem made this book impossible to put down.

This was a new author that I haven’t read before and Wildcat was an ok read for me. I respect all that Leslie has been through over the years with her career and how challenging it was for her as a woman in a man’s world but aside from that, I just couldn’t root for her or even like the character. I wanted to love this book because the cover and Description was good but, I just thought the book was ok. Not sure why Trevor was so hung up on her. I just didn’t find the book very believable except for Leslie’s obstacles she faced. I would read another book by the author in the future.
This book has so much steam from the very beginning, that you can’t help but blush while reading it. The story itself is a little all over the place. I’m not meaning poorly written, it has a great story line to it and amazing characters. What made it all over the place for me was the added point of view. It isn’t horrible, I just didn’t care to have a third persons point of view as to what was going on. Purely my own opinion. I love the two main characters giving their view of what is going on. Adding the third person to it just kinda lost the feel of the story for me. I love a strong female character but don’t necessarily care for a female character that is so set in her ways that it is a liability to herself. Most people don’t do what the main female in the story did. I love that she has a passion for what she does. I love that the main man is supportive of her dreams and is willing to make sure that she can accomplish everything safely. It is a swoony romance and you are captivated by not only all the steamy scenes but also the reactions of the characters when things happen. It is not your typical firefighter romance book. If you go in with an open mind and about 2 hours of time you can finish this book with a slight coloring of your cheeks and a new appreciation for female firefighters.

I loved Leslie and Trevor’s story. Leslie was definitely my favorite. She proves that women are strong and can do whatever they set their minds too. But at the same time it also touches on the troubles we might face when working in a mostly male work place. Also the steam was the perfect amount and the romance was beautiful! Great read.
The Fire God Tour is Book 3 in the Moore Family Saga Series of books. In this book Miles Moore is grown up and is now a famous performer known as Hip Hop Artist Ari. Miles has learned more about his affliction and is obsessed with the use of fire. He uses his ability to play with fire and implement it every chance he gets during his concerts. His whole life Miles has had to learn about the death threats against him due to his affliction but now there are also death threats against him due to his fame and fortune. On the plus side he’s making a lot of money, he can have any woman he wants, and he can travel wherever he wants. Life is good and the whole world is his oyster.
When Bella joins Miles team as the Chief of Marketing she is everything that he despises in a woman. She is too professional and uptight for his liking, so he mocks her every chance he gets and refers to her as the Ice Queen. Bella only wants to maintain a professional relationship with Miles but can’t help but find herself attracted to him, an attraction that she tries to deny. Miles also wants to keep things on a professional basis and knows that there could never be a relationship between them, yet for some unknown reason he finds himself attracted to Bella. Although Miles can have any woman, he wants due to his fame as an artist he finds something about Bella that is irresistible and can’t stop thinking about her. Bella finds herself thinking about Miles as well, but she knows what a womanizer he is and has no intention of following through with her attraction to him.
As the Chief of Marketing for Miles’ company Bella does not like Miles using fire during his concerts. Bella is unaware of Miles’ affliction and his ability to create fire so can’t understand his morbid obsession with the use of fire during his concerts and tours and attempts to get him to stop using it. This is not just due to the potential risks involved around the use of fire but because on a personal level Bella has a deep-seated fear of fire stemming back to her childhood. This is something where Miles and Bella disagree, and it instantly puts a wedge between them seemingly ruining any chance of them ever following through with their mutual attraction or having a relationship.
I loved this book as much, or even more so, than the first two books in the series. Both the characters and the storyline were very believable, with possibly the exception of the ability to create fire out of thin air. However, it was nice to become absorbed in Miles and his world of fire and his life as a famous Hip Hop Artist. I loved learning more about Miles and getting to know more of him as a character; one that showed different sides of his personality based on whether he was the Hip Hop Artist Ari, or whether he was Miles. Going through the ups and downs of having fame and fortune while also trying to maintain a private life is something that I’m sure every famous person has had to deal with. The author does a great job of showing the readers the struggle between a public image and a private life that most famous musicians must struggle with. This was another great read! Now onto Book 4!

I have enjoyed reading this series from the beginning. This book was no different. I love how the author can grab my attention from the first chapter and keep me intrigued until the end. She can keep you on the edge of your seat with her suspenseful writing but adds the right amount of romance at just the right time. I love it. I am also a huge lover of paranormal genres, so this has all the things I read. I don’t think you would technically need to read the previous books for understanding as it can be read stand alone. However, I think that you will get more enjoyment out of the entire series and would recommend reading them all.

This is a romance story that is engaging and hard to put down. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed and can’t wait to read more from them in the future. This is a well written story where the author’s use of detail made the story entertaining and easy to read. The characters are connectable and pulled me into the story from the beginning. This is a story that is fast paced and full of steam. This is a shorter story that really packs the romance in. Leslie and Travor are great characters and have great growth throughout the story. What will fate have in store for these two? I highly recommend reading this book to find out.
This was a fantastic read and great start to a new series, I could not get enough of the characters or the steam they both let out when ever they were near one another! I felt like I was constantly in my own steam room. I loved this book, it is one I would re read to enjoy as well for sure!
I loved how Leslie was the firefighter. I loved how she was the career driven woman. And we had Trevor who was a player of one of my favorite things, football! I loved how real they were, with such things as do not get attached, what the night was, was what it was sort of thing. I loved how their passion and want for one another was really strongly there right from the start, but as you read on you got to learn about each ot them, and why they are hesitant in the ways they act. They were vividly real characters!
Another thing I loved was the author took two characters who were not only real, but really had issues to work through together, and decide if this was the game they wanted and do a touch down, or very much, a fire to be put out. I loved the ending also. I could not have pictured it better. This book kept me interested, and happy feelings as I read through, hoping the best for these two hearts!
Wonderful read. Defiantly a good, hot, steamy read. With emotions that really bring everything to the table. I do highly recommend this must read author and their amazing book. Do not pass them up, this was a real treat, and it is one I surely will be reading again to get my seconds!
This story is sure to fog up the glasses. Steamy doesn’t begin to capture all that this story delivers. Passionate and sensual, the main characters served up sass, sarcasm and sizzle. Immeasurable chemistry boiled between them. This story was energetic and engaging. It sucked me in and enthralled me. The only thing is I wished it was a little longer. I felt like I was only beginning to understand the intricacies of the lead couple. I still loved everything about it. An original and enjoyable story. 4 stars.
Wedding Bells!! I’m so excited for these characters to get married in A Moore Affair. With the constant looking over their shoulder to stay safe, I’m so excited for Miles and Bella to be getting married. The way these two have grown individually, as well as together, I absolutely love! Married in Scotland! A Honeymoon in Paris! What more could a girl ask for?!? This book also has its Moore Family Saga drama, but you are going to have to read to find out. I will say this, I encourage one to read all the books, however. For this part of the Saga book 3 kind of starts it all over again as if it were new. Miles is definitely my favorite character across this saga, and I hope book 5 is more of his story and growth!

Okay now I’m more into this Saga! In The Fire God Tour we find Miles, now 26, living his life as a hip-hop artist with proclivity for pyrotechnics. I really didn’t care for how his mom, Lecia, was written and I’m glad this is now his story, vs Lecia and Cade. I enjoy Miles’ character and love how he has grown. Introducing Bella was definitely a nice touch and seeing how Miles and her not only interacted but grew together as characters kept me reading and not wanting to put the book down. Of course this wouldn’t be a Moore Family Saga without a little drama. Someone is out for Miles’ life in this go round.I really look forward to diving into book 4!@placexba View all my reviews
