There is lots of action in this Book 2 of the Moore Family Saga series. Miles is quite the surprising little character, with lots of tricks up sleeve! When his powers are discovered, the family members all react in different ways, casting about as to how to handle the new development. Then tragedy strikes the family, it’s all they can do to hold together and keep safe. I really enjoyed getting to know Miles and figuring out about all the things he can do. There were a lot of plot twists, and some surprises I definitely didn’t see coming. The characters deepened in this book 2, and became more lifelike for me. Overall, I found this book more engrossing and layered than the first one in the series. Glad I decided to check out the second one.

As Bella and Miles return in the fifth book in this series, they are still very much in love and their partnership in the business which Miles has created from the ground up and which she is now a partner of as the Chief Marketing Officer, she begins to realise exactly how much work there is to be done while still keeping the love alive and their extended family happy. Meanwhile, Miles has started a new venture within the business and has begin to see even more success from it, but one of the people involved within it starts to put pressure on Miles when they engage in unbecoming behaviour, it increases the pressure he is already feeling.
As Miles and Bella try to schedule their business lives, they are also trying to do the same with their personal lives, Bella is determined to support Miles in everything he does and to help him build this business, but she is feeling the pressure as well and isn’t dealing with it as well as he is. That is until some information passes across Miles’s desk which pertains to a rival company and their competition with Miles, he knows that he is in the right, but he asks for a second opinion, however, nothing is as simple as it seems when trouble starts to brew.
As things heat up and the trouble increases, secrets are revealed on both sides and amid growing concerns that this rivalry between Miles and his competitors is growing despite all their efforts to avoid any confrontation, events conspire against them and the need for increased security around them is a necessary evil and Bella insists that she will do everything she can to keep her family safe, even if it means putting them before the business, she will not hesitate to do this and Miles understands this completely as he has had to put safety before everything before while he maintains his incendiary secrets which could engulf the family in more trouble than anything else.
Escalations increase and it is at this point that Bella fears the worst will happen and she worries that innocent blood will spill and the ramifications of this scare her, but will they be able to go head to head with the competition without the need for unnecessary violence, or will the danger surrounding those they love thanks to their joint success become too hot to handle? Seed on Fire is book encompassing a wide of range of emotional topics in life: love, hardship, sacrifice, loss, disillusionment, and forgiveness. Throughout the turmoil, Lecia and Cade’s love is tested and strained to the edges of its bounds, as it is pummeled by threat after threat. Cade loves his wife deeply, but struggles to come to terms with his changing role as a father, and what that means for his career, his marriage, and his sense of self. These two love each other fearlessly throughout the ups and downs of the early marriage, and hope that if they hang on tight enough that their relationship will survive forever. I found this book tended to be rather melodramatic and hokey in parts, leaning heavily on the ‘soulmate’ trope in way I found hard to take seriously. Perhaps I am too jaded a reader, but I found it hard to believe in their relationship. A more romantically inclined reader may have a very different take!

This romantic paranormal novel was full of suspense which had me hooked from start to finish. The novel is book five in the series and can be read as a standalone story, however, the characters do crossover. Having been introduced to the main characters in a previous book, I enjoyed the continuation of Miles and Bella’s story. The storyline is definitely unique with a mix of romance, drama, suspense, magic, paranormal aspects and added magical realism elements, but it all makes for an enjoyable and engaging read. Bella and Miles Moore are great characters with plenty of chemistry. Miles is determined to make his dreams of having a music empire a reality but his wife, Bella is concerned that business is taking over family life. Bella also fears that the extremely competitive music industry along with the growing feud with their competitors will lead to bloodshed. The couple are still trying to keep their secrets from being revealed, and also discover that their shared success is endangering not just them but those they love. The author really does merge genres well and vividly brings the setting and characters to life with her descriptive narrative. This is a fast paced read, with an exciting plot that kept me turning the pages late until the night!

Miles and Bella return in this next instalment of the Moore Saga and it is their wedding day, as they both prepare for their nuptials, Bella insists that she and Miles stay in separate rooms so that their wedding night is more special and as she gets ready in the morning, she is excited to know that members from both Miles’s family, as well as family from both her mother and her father’s side of the family will be in attendance. Thanks to some genealogical research, Miles and Bella used the information to decide on a wedding in her ancestral home of Scotland on a beautiful sunny day filled with heritage, happiness and cheer as they join together before their witnesses in the contract of marriage. Unfortunately, it turns into more of a media centred celebration than expected and the only get a small amount of time alone together during the day and that is only when Bella snatches him away for a bit of time in private, but what she doesn’t expect is that an uninvited guest would turn up and try and spoil the day, however, they are put in their place and the celebrations go on both in public and private.
Shortly after midnight, Miles wakes Bella up and announces that he is whisking her off to Paris in a change of plans which annoys Bella a little to start, however, when she experiences the destination first hand, she is amazed by its beauty and is thankful for the gift. As the honeymoon passes with tours of France and Italy where they get to experience their culture and monuments with as little bother from the paparazzi as possible, however, they both know that it has to end and that eventually they will have to return to work, however, they enjoy the time passing together and allow themselves to be authentic with each other and share their innermost thoughts and feelings with each other without the rest of the world looking in.
When they return, Bella is thrown straight into the life of a celebrity and its many engagements and appearances that the lifestyles entails including tours and achievements which Miles has always dreamed of receiving, but the endless parties and function exhaust Bella and that is exacerbated when she finds out that she is pregnant. Their happiness is short lived when after a career triumph leads to a night of celebration which Bella could do without, especially when their home is taken over by an event, she reaches her breaking point when she is confronted by both exes and fans with less than innocent things on their minds, this leads to her needing to escape and returning to her childhood home so that she has time to breathe. When she arrives there, she is caught up in an accident where a fire destroys her home and if her security team hadn’t notified Miles that she had returned there, things could have taken a devastating turn, but as Bella recovers, secrets and truths are revealed, but will they be able to overcome this new hurdle in their lives, or will it tear them apart? This is another suspense filled romance with a few fantastical elements thrown in a it catches you in a whirlwind of experiences and emotions as the fast paced story flows along.

Miles is now grown, and we get to know the adult in this book. Fire God Tour is book 3, and I would advise to read previous books in the series. Miles is a successful musician and on tour. His new chief of marketing has caught his eye. Only problem is she doesn’t like fire. I really enjoyed this romance, and once again the author puts the focus on the relationship and overcoming the obstacles. Another great romance plot line by this author!

With Miles and Bella getting married, we start book 4 in this series in a happy and exciting place. However, things soon start taking a turn as they encounter people and secrets from the past. I love how the author always brings such a realistic outlook to romance and relationships. Even when two people truly love you, communication and compromise definitely have to be there as well. Thank you to the author for bringing us such great storylines and romance.

I really enjoyed this paranormal romance. This books can be read as a standalone but I think if you read from the start of the series it will give you a better understanding of the characters. However I have just read this one and I was still able to enjoy and follow the story. The author does an amazing job with her characters and building the world around them. Bella and Miles are both part of the music industry. From the outside they have everything you could wish for. Bella’s and Miles relationship is strong but it does get tested a lot in this story. Add to this the hidden secret about Miles’s gifts which is hard to keep hidden when they are so much in the public eye.
Bella wants to settle down and raise her twins. Her priority is them and their happiness and safety, but Miles seems to be focused more on his career and business than being with his family. With the added stress of Pharaoh, causing trouble and rifts in their marriage. Can they work through it all and stay strong or will something finally succeed in pulling them apart?

This romantic,Paranormal, Suspense novel was the first book i have read by this author and i liked it! It was nice book to have when i spent my weekend reading. This is the 3rd book in the series and I really loved it. In this book Rebecca is happily married , her career is at an all time high and she leads a good life with her husband and step daughter. However, nothing remains perfect. People from the past turn up and it makes the relationship between Rebecca and her husband difficult. Her step daughter is stepping into her shoes with a penchant for singing and blooms into a confident little girl. Rebecca has to really fight with all her strength to hold on to the things and people who are dear to her life. It is a bitter sweet ending, but I did enjoy every bit of this fast paced love story.

And we’re back to wrap up Becky’s story. I have mixed feelings about Rebecca Steele Living the Dream. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. We still have the past of Johnny Munroe still lingering around as Chance & Becky begin their lives as man and wife. There’s also Chance’s past with his daughter’s mom Carrie. Baggage on both sides. Which leads to some ups and downs on both sides. Once tragedy strikes it’s all about how they rise up and go on with life. I don’t want to give much away so I’ll say this: If you stumbled across this book as I have, you should start back at book 1. Get the entire backstory, not that it couldn’t be a standalone novel, however some things will make more sense. Enjoy!

Such a sweet story! Rebecca Steele Finding the Dream was very good. With ups, downs, highs and lows it’s everything you could ask for in a book. Becky Steele, on the cusp of starting her country music career while in her 40s, picks the one song that reminds her of past love with Johnny Munroe to launch it. Besides all that she also competes in barrel racing at the rodeo where she meets Chance(Adam Mason). After a scary accident she loses most of her memory of her 20s & 30s, but is assured it’ll come back in time. Romance is in the air between Chance & Becky with Johnny looming in the shadows. With sadness, love, happiness, and drama this story does not disappoint as Becky navigates a new road in life while leaving an old road behind. Well minus her best friend Emily, who will always be along for the ride. I look forward to reading book 3, more than I was to reading this book because of the time jumps in book 1. Don’t let that deter you because I’m glad I did. It was worth it!

I was excited to read this third and final book in the ‘Rebecca Steele’ series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great being back with the wonderful Becky and to be fully immersed in her world again. I would recommend reading the previous books in the series, not just because they are a fab read, but because this continues her story. As usual I felt engaged with Becky who is such a likeable and relatable strong main character, and it was nice that her daughter Cassie took a more prominent part in the storyline. Although Becky is enjoying her life on the country music stage, when she faces some adverse conditions, once again she needs her strength, resolve, attitude and faith to see her through. As well as her old friends turning up in the story the author also keeps things interesting with some new faces. The exciting storyline and plot twists kept me hooked from start to finish and I just couldn’t stop reading. I’m disappointed that this is the last book in the series and I will miss Rebecca Steele, but this was definitely a good send off for her.

This is book three of this series by this author. This one was just as good as the previous two books in my opinion. This author is such a great writer. I love her visualization process and how it has progressed throughout each book. These characters are fantastic. I feel like they are my own friends and family just living in a different state. That’s how real this series has been to me. As with the previous two books I couldn’t put this one down and was gripping the edge of my seat throughout several chapters. While I was hoping the author would continue with this series I think she did a wonderful job closing the chapter and ending it. However, I do hope that maybe she will change her mind and perhaps do a spin-off at some point in the future. I highly recommend this for anyone that loves “western” themed stories. If you like the show “Yellowstone” you will like this series.

This is the third and final book in the series and I was looking forward to seeing how Becky and Chances life panned out as I had really enjoyed the previous book. For the first half of the book I was really enjoying being back in Becky and Chance’s world. Then came the twists and I was like “WHAT?” No Way!! I won’t mention what the twists were as I won’t give spoilers but I have to say that I really didn’t enjoy the book after that. It totally spoilt it for me. I have read a lot of other reviews and almost everyone is raving about how good the book is, so I guess I’m out on my own but I really didn’t like the direction that the book took from this point. I will say that the book is very well written and the author does a great job of writing great characters, so it’s not all bad and I did love the first half of the book.

This was a decent read. It had a really good storyline and interesting characters. However I couldn’t get into this one easily. I think I was having an off reading day, but no matter how much I tried to concentrate and read I just couldn’t make sense of some of the story. The timeline seemed wonky and just random part of the times and then at others the conversations seemed a little forced. I’ve read two previous installments of this series in the past and while they had some of the same issues I didn’t notice it as bad as I did this time around. Again I think it was just an off reading day because when I could get into the story the plot was interesting, the characters were interesting, and it was really good I just had a lot of trouble getting into this one. Maybe next time will be better for me!

This is the third and last book in the Rebecca Steele series by Joanne Patterson. I highly recommend reading the books in order. This is a sweet romance that has some drama, challenges, and emotions throughout this book. Like before this book drew me in from the first page until the last word. I love Becky’s story because she has been loving life. She has had some minor bumps in the road but nothing that strength, faith, and a bit of attitude cannot fix. This book has taken me for an emotional ride that I was willing to take to see what happens to Becky. I highly recommend this book but do not forget to read the first two books first.

Face the Fire (Moore Family Saga Book 5) by Michele Sims. I have loved this series so much and this book was no different. This could be read as a standalone. This is the continuing saga of the Moore family and in this book Miles and Bella have finally gotten married and have had twins. Bella is very family oriented and always puts them first. Miles is more career motivated and wants nothing more than to have a very successful music career. Bella is the Chief Marketing Officer for their growing company and she knows that any competition is going to be cut throat. While she learns more about the music industry and their competitors she realizes it can be very dangerous and she will do anything to protect her family. Will they be able to continue to grow their business and keep their family safe or will it tear Miles and Bella apart? Read this great addition to this series!

A Fantastic five-star read. This is the start of the Moore Family Saga and it just starts with a bang, showing us about how this author manages to create characters that will ensnare you, they will have you caring about them in the first few pages and all the way through. I weirdly started this series at book four, and then realised that I could go back and read them all and I am, its great. Coming back to the start and sinking my teeth in again, was like coming back to old friends, falling in love again. This is a great story and I am so excited to sink into number two.

I was excited to get my hands on this fifth and exciting installment of the Moore Family Saga and it most certainly did not disappoint! I was completely swept up and away into this story much like I had been in the past with the others. I would personally recommend that you take the time to delve into those before this one as they really lay a foundation of the family and the characters that will build the story for you. The author does a wonderful job of building the world and the story that I am sure if you really did not want to you could read it as a standalone and I am sure you would be hooked into it and want to read the others though. In this one we find ourselves completely immersed in the world of Miles and Bella, and I find myself really finding this one to be my top favorite! I cannot wait to see what will come next!

The Moore Family Saga book 5 starts with Miles and Bella with twins and still working together in the music industry. As outside forces show up and work to split them up, we see the couple have to fight and protect what they have. The main theme in this series is the family and what family means. All of the books have their own unique storyline and this story is a wonderful addition to the series. The author brings it in the emotional turmoil and depth of her characters.

I dove right into this book without having read the first four in this series. I found this to be an enjoyable read without feeling lost in any way. I do however plan to go back and read the other books for more of a back story and because I’m sure they are just as good as this one and I would like to know whilst I missed. This book kept me entertained throughout the entire story. I loved how strong Miles and Bella’s marriage is even with the obstacles and outside forces that can cause problems. Miles’ success is important to him but is the cost too high? To find out this and more you must read this book. The magic in this story is an added bonus to an already good read. I recommend this book.

Playing with Fire is book 2 in the Moore Family Saga. Cade and Lecia are back with their child, Miles, who was born with a genetic mutation that gives him a super power – fire. Even with this paranormal theme starting to weave itself into this story, the focus is still on family bonds and the highs/lows of parenthood. It’s about the good and bad in every individual. As the Moore’s navigate parenthood, careers, and marital difficulties, we all can relate in some way or another. Well written and enjoyable read.

Seed on Fire is the first book in the Moore Family Saga. Cade and Lecia are the main characters in this story, and it starts with tension and resentments building between this couple that are expecting their first child. I found the emotional turmoil and reactions of the characters so realistic. So many changes and challenges come as people become first time parents. I think the author did an amazing job of representing that in the story. While this series is a paranormal series, I don’t feel like that is the focus. Family values and the familial relationships really stand out. Overall, a really good read.

Rebecca Steele Living the Dream is the third and final book in the Rebecca Steele series and once you start reading you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished. This is a Western Romance that is packed with, love, drama and a few family challenges along the way. This book continues on from the previous books so I highly recommend reading this series in order as it will give you a better understanding of what is going on and help with characters and back story. Plus its an amazing series that is definitely worth the time. Get ready to be taken on quite the ride as Becky is back and will soon find out what fate has in store for her . This is a fast paced story that will have you turning the pages to see what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.

This is book three of the Rebecca Steele Series. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading the first two books in the series first. This is the best book in the series. I think the author did a beautiful job on this book. It’s heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. It’s a wonderful conclusion to this series.

Omg yay! This was so beautiful. I haven’t finished crying yet. This author has a way of inspiring people through her live stories. The way that Becky and Johnny have gone on this journey of love and adventure the ups and downs I feel like the ultimate third wheel. I love that this story didn’t feel like the third of a series and that I was reading a new story. The trials of success and motherhood really hit home. I would read this book again and again. Loved this book and the book before. This author made me feel at home following this adventure. Wish there was more.

Face the Fire is the 5th book in this series. I have only read one other book in the series but I didn’t have trouble following the characters from the previous book that I read. However, I’m sure the story would be better if you read the series in order. However, I really enjoyed reading about Miles and Bella and their family. From the beginning of this book, you jump right into a situation that Miles as a music producer and with his paranormal abilities skirts a bit around the right thing to do. Seeing how Miles and Bella’s strong relationship working together kept my interest. There were many nights I had a hard time putting the book down to get some rest.
