The story is full of adventure and fun, and at times a little steamy. There is intrigue and mystery and suspense in this thoroughly entertaining romantic comedy that will keep you turning pages.

The Girl and the Demon is the third and final book in The Girl and the Raven by Pauline Gruber. This YA paranormal romance is original and different to other books of this genre. I enjoyed the first two books in this series and knew this one would be just as good. I mean who doesn’t love a story with witches, demons, and other magical creatures both good and evil. This complex multilayered story will leave you wanting more of Pauline’s unusual.
With danger lurking Lucy is forced to reveal herself to true evil and the world where she wished to remain hidden. Now she just has to survive. Not just YA’s will love this book.

What an inventive retelling of Cinderella. Ashling is a brave young woman who can jump right in there and fight monsters with the guys. Prince Callum and his husband, Teague, think she is the perfect candidate to carry their heir. Along the way, we have monsters, evil stepmonsters (oops, stepmothers) and a ball, along with a few other items. There is a bit of steam included for the romance fans (definitely 18+). I loved the well-written characters and detail. The original story with its little bits of unpredictability were fun and quite refreshing. I’m looking forward to Book 2 coming out in March 2022. Highly Recommend.

Dark, gritty supernatural This book grips you from the start and takes a thrilling ride. There is a lot to get through within the pages and it does get very intense in parts. This is good vs evil based within a blend of mythology, Christianity and psychology. With such complexity the reader could easily become lost, but the author skilfully layered the story and kept the story on track through the twists and turns. A worthy read.

When I finally finished book 1, I was ecstatic about book 2! I agree that this book was hard to put down and a great sequel to the first book. I can appreciate the way that James the author takes us to new places as I read the book! His writing is very descriptive and I could for sure are in my imagination the story unfolding. James does not disappoint at all in book two!

This book pulled in from the beginning just like the first two in this series. This series just keeps getting better with each book. This one gets a little more steamy than the first two, I am definitely not complaining. In this one Vanessa finds herself in a race against time on a mission she needs to complete to save her soul but it doesn’t seem to be going as planned. I loved how we got to know some of the characters better in this story. This book starts up right where book two left off so it is my suggestion you read this series in order. This book is full of great characters, magic, danger, action and so much more. This is a must read and I cannot wait to read what comes next.

Love Love Love Love this book. I dont think I can say enough!! It gives me all the feels!!! First, the cover of the book is just stunning!! The story is truly amazing. Princess Rowan and her cousin Davin start out by trying to smuggle vodka…on their way back in the tunnels, it collapse’s. Guards from Socarian take Rowan and Davin where they find out that smuggling could be punishable by death. There is a “Summit” called by the the leader of the Elk Clan and Rowan also meets Theo, whom is the brother of the leader.
I just loved Rowan’s character. Fiery, sassy, passionate with a mind of her own. She is a girl to love! Theo, I adored him so. I really love them together and love the protectiveness that Theo wants to provide to Rowan so she does not meet the fate of possible death due to her smuggling.
If you love a great young adult story with some twists, a fiery princess and an Ending that **AHHHH** this book is for you!!

First, I just want to say this is one of the most entertaining opening scenes I’ve ever read. I could literally see this scene played out in my head. I like the interaction between Kayla and Tanner. I found myself laughing out loud at their dialogue. Refreshingly real. When the ex (her baby’s daddy) enters the picture, I think every mom can sympathize with her here. Being torn between the fact that they have a kid together vs his reoccurring pattern. Even when logically clear, it gets emotionally blurry. A wonderful story single moms need to read who feel like they don’t have time to date. This was my first book from this author and so glad for this introduction to her writing style! Will be watching for more books from her!
Entwined (Stone and Cinder Book 1) by A.L. Morrow. This book knocked me off my feet. I was expecting a sweet and tender retelling but what I got was not that at all! This book was full of secrets, debauchery, monsters and lust. Our Cinderella is Ashling and our Prince Charming is Prince Callum who are modern day prince and princess. Ashling is strong, independent and beautiful who in this retelling ends up taking care of Prince Callum. Ashling was left by her father when he wandered into the Winter Woods and was driven mad by the monsters there. She was left with her mean step mother and was left to fend for herself. When Prince Callum’s ball happens he is smitten with Ashling and he thinks she may be his Princess but will the monsters outside come into the Kingdom to destroy their happiness? Love’s Refrain (The Stardust Duet, Book 1) by KG Fletcher. This is the first book in the Stardust Duet series and it was great. I love K.G. Fletcher so it was no surprise. This is the story of Kat who is a jazz singer and she has been gifted a locket by a stranger. When she looks into the locket there is a message in it and it takes her into a portal to another time. Once that portal is open the book goes between the 1940’s and present time. In the 1940’s she meets Phillip who is amazing and I fell a little in love with him. Kat is in the middle of WWII and singing at a theater where she meets Phillip a pianist. She has figured out that Phillip has all the answers she’s looking for. In the present day there is a current version of Phillip and Kat finds herself torn between the two. Will she figure out a way to get back to her normal life or will she decide to stay in the 40’s with the mysterious Phillip? Read Love’s Refrain to find out!

Ye Gods! The Law is an Ass! (Donovan Trait Book 2) by Seelie Kay. This is the second book in this series and its just as good if not better than the first. I loved it. It takes place right as Shirley and Donovan are getting married and they are so happy. Right as the wedding is about to take place Shirley finds out she’s pregnant. She’s so excited but the Coalition isn’t happy at all so Shirley and Donovan have to run to save their baby. Since Shirley is human and Donovan is a Vampire Prince they are figuring out all this works as well as learning to be married and save their baby. Trying to change old laws and rules so that they can keep their child is their main goal. They have violated the contract with the Coalition so they are in deep trouble like life and death trouble. Will they get a law passed before the baby gets here? I highly recommend reading book 1 first so that you get all the background. This series is soo good. I can’t wait for the next!

Rachel is a mother who is at her wits end, fighting what feels like an uphill lonely battle not just against what’s destroying her child, but a battle against doctors, the child’s father, and her own inner struggles. This woman must be so incredibly exhausted, but brave. She is a fighter who won’t let anyone decide who she is or what she gets to feel.
Eva is a woman with such a complex marital relationship but even more so a complex relationship with herself. She struggles to figure out who she was, who she is, and who she wants to be. She has an inner struggle of self-worth and forgiveness that can be felt throughout.
James is a man who seems to make everything very black and white. I felt like he often took the easier road, the less traveled road and it wasn’t always the best road. However, don’t let this deceive you for long. As the author brings this story to life the relationships are an integral part of everything going on. You will feel the love, the anger, the despise, and the unexpected camaraderie from the least expected person.
As a parent, reading this story I felt the anguish, the love, the pain, and the intense heartbreak from beginning to end. The author did an amazing job bringing the reader into the fold and I admit I cried several times. Sometimes, the ache in my heart was so much I had to take a small break from reading to compose myself. This is one of the best books I have read this year and I intend to grab all her books. Make sure you have a box of Kleenex handy, and you give the people around you warning that you will be an emotional wreck.

I started this book worried that it would have the same plotline as every other Fae story that I have read lately, but I was so incredibly enthralled by it that I could not put it down until I was finished. I read it all in one sitting. Titania is struggling with her anxiety, which is something that I deal with as well – so this made the story even more interesting to me. The loss of her brothers before the story begins showed me a deeper purpose for her wanting to prove herself. For a girl (faerie) so young, it was incredible to watch her change into a regal and humble leader. From the challenge of a woman reigning over the kingdom, to the confusion regarding her emotions regarding the opposite sex, and the deception of people she assumed she could trust – this story literally had everything that I needed and wanted to see. I love that there is something mysterious surrounding her mother and that there is an unknown power that Titania possesses – it leaves so much more to be revealed in future books. The descriptions of where to find the faerie lands in reference to the world as we know it was extremely clever and made it all feel that much more real. I look forward to reading more about the upper and lower realms as well as discovering what happens as time goes on. Tricia Copeland did an amazing job with this story, and I will be reading any and everything of hers that I can get my hands on. Highly recommend!

Wild Desire is the first book in Toya Richardson’s The Protectors Series. It is a paranormal romance with a magical, dangerous forest setting.
I really like the focus on conservation and nature in this book. Mila feels called back to the forest to protect it, knowing the same forces her parents fought against continue to threaten it. She encounters the beautiful local deer, who she soon discovers are more than they first appear. But at the same time she encounters her childhood nemesis, who is illegally hunting in the forest.
At times it felt like the narrative moved too quickly – I would have liked to have more time at the start of the book to get to know Mila and the setting, perhaps with details of her past dripped in more gradually, but then I did like how the immediacy of certain events forced Mila and Elias to skip formalities and dive into their relationship. And there were plenty of mysteries kept for later in the book!
The series focuses on a different couple in each book, allowing Richardson to develop the world whilst giving us a new romance every time. I’m looking forward to reading more of them, and exploring this fantastic world!
For me, this is a four star read. I’d recommend it to fans of paranormal shifter romance, who like a beautiful outdoors setting!

No Strings Attached is an excellent contemporary romance by Lara Ward Cosio. I have read several books by this author and have to say that this is the one I have enjoyed the most. I really connected with this book from the very beginning and was kept gripped and entertained by the story right up to the very end. Kayla, a single mum of adorable 4 year old Emmy, has been watching the sexy builder working across the road from her house. Unknown to her, sexy builder Tanner has had he eye on the sexy redhead he sees at the window opposite his construction site. When they have a chance meeting in the local coffee shop, could this be the start of something good? While pretending that there is more to their friendship to Tanner’s sister and Kayla’s ex, they soon discover that their strings relationship might just be something more. I really loved the characters of Kayla and Tanner. In addition to the main characters there is a great cast of secondary characters that really add so much to the story, particularly Tanner’s sister and the 3 adorable kids, Emmy (Kayla’s daughter) and Max and Matt (Tanner’s adorable twin nephews). I’m a total sucker for cute kids in a book and these 3 stole my heart. No Strings Attached is a really enjoyable read and I’d definitely recommend it.
This is not my first book by this author but it is one of my favorites. What I enjoy most about this author is her ability to pull me into her stories with ease and keep my attention to the end. Her attention to details give her stories a realistic feel. The characters bring the story to life and bring the romance to a new level. This book is no different. It is the first book in this series and what a great start it was. This is a well written story about Mila and Elias. She is starting her dream job of a forest ranger and he has been looking for the one his whole life. What will happen when one chance meeting changes everything for them. This is where the story takes on a suspenseful plot when Mila is taken captive. I really enjoyed their chemistry and growth throughout the plot. The twists and turns that make the story suspenseful kept the story engaging. You don’t want to miss what happens with them. I highly recommend picking up this book today to find out. It is worth the read, for sure.

This is the third book in this series which keeps just getting better and better with every one. This is a great author that I have enjoyed from the first book that I picked up from the first book I picked up. I enjoy being pulled into the story by the author’s use of attention to details that gave the story a realistic feel. This is a well written story that took me on an adventure of supernatural characters that bring the story to life. I found this book to be not only fast paced but engaging as well. I enjoyed the growth of the plot and the characters throughout the story. This is a story about Lucy and her adventure of saving her friends and herself from the demon that threatens to break loose in the Windy City. I really enjoyed this supernatural story. It is a great young adult story that I would highly recommend.

This is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much as the first. I highly suggest reading the first book as well as it is that great. I enjoyed being pulled into the story from the beginning by Sasha and Amaud. They are connectable characters and made the story engaging. First things first, I want more of this! Donovan has his hands full with a pregnant Shirley. They are dealing with violating the agreement they made with the Coalition and that’s kind of like war. Hiding on an island of Nuns, Donovan and Shirley are trying to fight this battle, deal with the pregnancy and have the babies when they come early. Trying every method and with every resource they can, they go to battle with the Coalition to prove that vampire babies can be born from a vampire/human mating. The Coalition, being made up of good old vamps, can’t get their heads out of their asses to see the problem. So, big steps must be taken. This book is exciting, fresh, full of adventure and fun! You should read it. It’s a quick weekend read. Well-written, a few twists where you don’t expect them. Highly recommend. I’m looking forward to reading more of this author.

Entwined is the first book in the Stone and Cinder series by A.L. Morrow. It is a captivating Cinderella retelling, with a bit of a twist. Ms. Morrow has taken the classic fairytale and given it a bit of a sexy shake up. This original story is full of fantasy, magic, romance, agendas, high stakes, chemistry, a menage- with M/M… M/F… & M/M/F, drama, and more. I don’t want to give too much away and spoil it for you, because if you love fairytale retellings with a sexy twist, then you are definitely going to want to read the story for yourself. This is a short story- which made for a very quick and easy read. It is told from multiple points of view, which made it all the more interesting. Bring on Book #2!

Entwined: A Cinderella Retelling is my first read by A.L. Morrow. I enjoyed this quick read very much. Unlike other retellings of the classic, Entwined was unique and dark, and I appreciate the inclusiveness of the LGTBQ+ community. My only wish was that it did not end on a cliff-hanger! I will definitely be on the lookout for book two!

I’ll start by saying this book deserves so many more than 5 stars! I’ll also start by saying that my life is now suspended in time until October 26th, if anyone is looking for me I’ll be stationed in The Grand Theater in Whitley, Georgia I’ll be the one way up front pacing as I await the rest of this story!!
I’ll be honest, I had every intention of not finishing this book. I planned to get to the last chapter and stop. I wanted to read that on October 26th so that I could continue on without stopping. I couldn’t do it… I trusted this author, somewhere I read where she stated this book did not end on an actual cliff hanger, but more of an intermission. So in trusting that, I read on…Now here I sit…suspended in time!
I have read the famous time travel story by another author 4 times now, you know the one I’m speaking of, I have them all on my physical bookshelf on the top shelf, and have watched those books become a series on tv, which i’ve binged at least 3 times. That series has ruined me for any other time travel I have attempted to read. Until now!!!! I was so nervous going into this book, this author has literally become one of my top 3 favorites of all time and I was so scared. Well, this is why she is one of my top 3 faves. I can not even think straight right now. She took a whole new approach to this genre and BLEW IT OUT OF THE TIME TRAVEL REALM!! I’m in shock and loved this story so much. I loved the movie from long ago that for me actually started this time travel idea, I’ve watched that so many times and it’s an auto go to when I’m looking for a familiar movie to watch. This story has that feel to it, but in my opinion even surpasses that and I want this made into a movie so bad. I loved every word, every emotion that was brought out of me, I loved these characters, well, almost all of them and truly felt I was tumbling through with Kat everytime. The locket had me all messed up, and figuring that out is still rolling through my mind. I have theories on how this story will progress and eventually end and these will drive me nuts as I’m pacing this theater awaiting the release of the next.
I’ve rambled in this review and I’m sorry, but I still can’t even come close to explaining why every reader should grab this book and then buckle in and hold on!
Thank you Miss Fletcher for stomping my fears and giving me this story, I am in Love, and these will be right up there on my bookshelf, at the top and will be read many many more times in my future!

This book takes you on a journey. Gavin is a detective with nightmares that take over his personal life. Every chapter brings a new and enticing twist filled with erotic romance. I spent two days lost in Gavin’s life and I’m not ready for it to be over. Looking forward to reading the next book!

Love’s Refrain is the fist book the The Stardust Duet by KG Fletcher. This is a Marvelously written time travel romance that will take you on quite the adventure . From the moment I started reading I was pulled in I knew there was going to be no stopping until I finished. Im huge fan of this author and this one just went to the top of my favorites list. I can’t wait for the second book I need it now. This author continues to amaze me her attention to detail and her ability to create such master pieces blows me away. I literally felt like I was right there with the characters and going along with them. Be prepared to be on the edge of your seat as you travel right along with these characters on quite the epic time travel adventure. Kat is a Jazz singer who returns back to her home town for her last performance of the tour. Things go differently than she expected especially after being gifted a mysterious locket and she then finds herself be transported back in time to 1947. I highly recommend reading this wonderful book to find out what happens next . Can’t wait for the next book.

This author never disappoints! I LOVED this story and its characters. It is very relatable on many levels. It has highs and lows and hits all the emotional buttons.
Its hard to pick a favorite character because I enjoy each for different reasons. We read from each of their POV so its easy to feel what they are feeling. I really enjoyed Tanner because of his work ethic but also his helpfulness and love. I liked that the children were written well and antics are within their age brackets.
Overall this is a definite one click. I loved the humor, sense of family, romance and how this has many layers. This author nailed this one!
Born to Fight (Can’t Resist You Book 1) by Brittany Anne is an apocalyptic dystopian romance story. It is a tale that makes you think that their reality could in fact one day be our reality. This gripping tale had me turning page after page as I was riveted to the story. I was in the zone and completely oblivious to anything around me. So much so I realised hubby was walking away from me shaking his head. Anyhoo, this wonderful story is full of action and danger, drama and suspense, adventure, and mystery. You can feel the passion of Brittany’s words as you journey through the lies and secrets, hope and frustrations, pain, and sorrow of the characters.
