No Names to Be GivenNo Names to Be Given by Julia Brewer Daily
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is so much in this book that it was impossible to put down. But a word to wise, if you are easily upset this book may not be for you. This book talks about several sensitive topics including child abuse, racial discrimination, a fear of hopelessness, and more but it really gives you a feel for how things worked in the 1960’s. While this is the authors debut novel, I really loved her writing style, and the way she laid out the plotline for this story. While this book is not for everyone I really enjoyed this thought provoking read. So if you are looking for a unique thought provoking read this weekend, then I recommend this book.

Embracing Jared (Thrill of the Chase, #3) by Anna Paige – Review by stephanie nicole

Embracing Jared (Thrill of the Chase, #3)Embracing Jared by Anna Paige
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was just simply amazing. This author really knows how to write amazing and realistic characters, and she puts so much heart and soul into them that you really feel all of the emotions that they are going through. This book will take you on a wild emotional ride and I would gladly sit through it again. There were times that u laughed, times that my eyes watered, and times that I bawled my eyes out but still couldn’t stop reading. But I really felt for these characters, for the things they had to go through and just life in general. Full of romance, drama, chemistry, family, and of course several emotions this romance story has everything a romance reader could ask for. While it can be read as a standalone I highly recommend reading them all as this author is just simply amazing and her characters are superb.

Kissing Darkness (Dark Spell Series Book 5) by Isra Sravenheart – Review by stephanie nicole

Kissing Darkness (Dark Spell #5)Kissing Darkness by Isra Sravenheart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the fifth installment to this series and it might be the best one yet. Full of witches, magic, drama and so much more it’s one of the better fantasy books that I have read this year. There were several times that I thought I had this story all figured out and our author threw me a curveball by throwing in more drama or twists and turns. I have read this entire series from book one and personally I would recommend reading them in order. You can read the fifth installment as a stand alone but you’ll have a much better understanding of the world and the story if you read the previous four books. So if you love witches and fantasy, and you need a new book for this weekend I highly recommend this one.

MURDER OFF ROUTE 82 (Eve Sawyer Mystery Book 3) by Jane Suen – Review by stephanie nicole

Murder off Route 82 (Eve Sawyer Mystery, #3)Murder off Route 82 by Jane Suen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

If your looking for a new fantastic murder mystery to leave you on the edge of your seat, then look no further. This is the first book that I have read bu this author but after reading this novel I will definitely be looking for more. The characters were simply amazing and realistic, the plot was beautifully woven, and the mystery is so deep you’ll be furiously flipping the pages to see what happens next. While this book is part of a series it can be read as a standalone, I however loved it so much I’ll be picking up the first two. But personally my favorite thing about this book was all of the plot twists, just when I thought I had everything figured out, one turn of the page would throw in a twist. So if your looking for a good murder mystery pick up this one today.

A Cold Creek Christmas (Reigning Hearts, Book 5) by KG Fletcher – Review by stephanie nicole

A Cold Creek Christmas (Reigning Hearts, #5)A Cold Creek Christmas by K.G. Fletcher
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Personally I love holiday stories and this is one author I always look forward to reading. These characters pulled me in from the very beginning and pulled on my heartstrings so much I felt like I was in the middle of the story. Full of Christmas cheer, romance, and fantastic characters this Christmas romance was perfect. But Amber and Giovanni really made this story perfect. While Amber is beautiful, smart, and wonderful she really just doesn’t like Christmas, while Giovanni is a handsome single dad. What happens when they both get bitten by the Christmas magic and look for a chance at romance? Will they find their happy ending in each other? You’ll have to read that wonderful holiday story to find out.

Magic-Price (The Crown of Stones, #1)Magic-Price by C.L. Schneider
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

All I can say about this book is wow. This author has given us a fantastic plot, tremendous characters, and an incredible world. The way that the author introduces us to thos world is amazing. We see every little detail through Ian’s eyes, and the details the author gives us makes your imagination run wild. I also personally love how this author introduces the magic in this series. It was introduced slowly, and in enough detail that it developed with the storyline. I personally love fantasy novels, and this one is definitely in the top fantasy novels that I have read. So if your looking for a great new fantasy full of magic, a new land, and great characters then look no further and pick this one up today.

King Bastard (A Dark Sparrow Novel Book 6) by India Kells – Review by stephanie nicole

King Bastard (Dark Sparrow, #6)King Bastard by India Kells
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was both very sad for me and a relief at the same time. While I didn’t want this wonderful series to end, I couldn’t wait to see how things played out for these wonderful characters. Just like the previous books in this series this book is addictive and full of suspense, romance, tension, danger and oh so much more. While this book can be read as a standalone u highly recommend reading the whole series, as it helps build the bigger picture. Lazarus is the oldest brother and he has vowed to protect his brothers, and keep a last battle from them. Then Sasha comes into play and Lazarus must not only keep his brothers safe but also the woman he loves. Will Lazarus be able to keep everyone safe and live his life with the woman he loves? Or will their father win this final battle? You’ll have to read this book to find out.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have never read anything by this author, but I have to admit that the cover of this book and its title had me very intrigued from the beginning. This book has so much to offer its thought provoking, dark, tense, and twisted. This story is such an intricately woven story, that you’ll never see what’s coming next. Full of secrets, mind games, deception and more, there are so many twists and turns might feel a little crazy by the end. This author gives us not only a fantastic story by fantastic characters to go along with it. Their lives all connected by dark things including manipulation and more. While physiological thrillers are not normally my thing this one was fantastic and I highly recommend.

Born in Darkness (Mafia Elite #3)Born in Darkness by Amy McKinley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Yet another fabulous mafia book by what is quickly becoming one of my favorite favorite authors. As with the previous two installments in this series this author gives us fantastic characters, a mysterious and thrilling plot, and of course a sizzling romance. Our main characters in this story are the sexy Stefano Rossi and the beautiful Emiliana Vitale, they have been dancing around their romance for quite some time, but can they finally be together now that it’s time for Stefano to take over? Before we can find out there is a snitch to deal with, but this author loses no time in keeping her readers in her story with mystery of who can or can’t be trusted. Full of action, angst, twists, mystery, and romance this book will grab you from the beginning and won’t let go until the end.

Thief of Magic (Shadowed Minds, #1)Thief of Magic by Bree Moore
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is my first time reading this author but she did a great job pulling me into this urban fantasy. While this is my first time reading this author it will not be my last she pulled me in with her creative, unique characters, her plot line was full of intricate details, and everything together made the story very fast paced and easy to get lost in. Lee is our main character and boy oh boy does she do a phenomenal job. She is a fantastic strong and lovable main character that really pulls the whole story together. Sam and Risa were also vital to this story, and personally I can’t wait for the next installment to see why Lee and the gang get into next.

It is always been one of my favorite things to find new authors and after reading this story, I will definitely be looking for more from this author. This book was gripping right from the very start, while I am any a huge fan of physiological thrillers, this one just kept me guessing from one page to the next and I couldn’t put it down until I finished it. This book had so many elements that I just couldn’t physically believe it. Some elements include fantastic characters including Neve and Con, a mysterious but incredible story line, a fabulous romance, and even some humor. Fall to Pieces by Becky Flade – Review by stephanie nicole

Fall to PiecesFall to Pieces by Becky Flade
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Once I started reading this book I could not put it down. This book has everything you could possibly want including fantastic main characters in detective Alexandra Danvers and Detectice Xavier Knight, an intriguing plot, and great story building. Even though Alexandra is a window, she is resilient, protective, competent, professional, and protective. Enter Xavier Knight who is also very professional, and protective, but he’s undercover, reserved and very much a loner. The attraction between these two jumps off the pages, and makes the book so good you can’t put it down. The author did such a great job making this story feel so real that you really empathize with the characters, and you want justice for the victims. So if your looking for your next read pick this one up today.

The Heart of a Hussar (The Winged Warrior Series Book 1) by Griffin Brady – Review by stephanie nicole

The Heart of a Hussar (The Winged Warrior, #1)The Heart of a Hussar by Griffin Brady
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was definitely an unexpected read. It is very seldom that you find a romance based in a country overseas like Poland so it was a very nice change of pace. While I am not normally a reader of history, I loved the history and the characters in this book. But with the help of the characters you are easily sucked into the pages. The combination of history, adventure, and a budding romance just kept turning the pages, I absolutely couldn’t put it down and almost finished it in one sitting. This author gave us a unique, but historically accurate plot, fantastic characters, and brilliant word building. I simply can’t recommend this book enough!

This book will for sure put a Spell on you. I have always loved reading about magic and this author did not disappoint, giving us a courageous female lead, different characters all with different magical strengths, and a fantastic plot. When I found out that this book would focus on Italian magic I was super intrigued and I was definitely not disappointed. Annie was a very impressive character who goes through a lot and in the end she definitely came out stronger then I ever thought she would while reading her story. Full of emotions, suspense, magic and oh so much more this story was a brilliant read.

This book is just as intense as the first. After reading the first half of this duet I knew that this second half would be just as an emotional roller coaster ride. Tori and Will have such a romantic relationship that my soul wept for them. The amount of emotion, courage, determination and so much more was overwhelming but beautiful. Once again this author gives us our beautiful characters, an emotional plot, and a love story that will have you needing a whole box of tissues. While this story might be short it packs a lot into its few pages. While some people would think that you can’t have a big impact story with a short novella, they would be wrong. This story was beautifully crafted full of some Egyptian mythology, shifters, romance, emotions and so much more this novella really packs a punch. The characters are beautifully detailed and the story so intriguing you won’t want it to end. While this is my first read by this author I can honestly say I will be looking for more. Diabolical Sword (The Charm Collector Book 1) by Melissa Erin Jackson – Review by stephanie nicole

Diabolical SwordDiabolical Sword by Melissa Erin Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book has a lot in it but the author took so much time to put all or the details in this story that it would be impossible for you to be confused. Both her main characters as well as her supporting characters were both brilliant and described in immense details. Our main character Harlow is so relatable, she’s just a girl trying to keep her life together in the best way she knows how. She’s had some tough breaks but she’s doing the best she can. In the long run it is a very interesting, entertaining, and exciting read. Harlow is witty and sarcastic, which makes for excellent dialog with supporting characters like Caspian and Zander. So if your looking for a new series to start this week then definitely pick up this first installment.

Like the previous three books in this series this book was a perfect Greek mythology book to read this weekend. This final book to the series was packed with so much emotion, drama, steamy scenes and of course all of our favorite characters. While I was reading through this final novel I found myself thinking that there was no way that Vanessa and all of her friends stories could get wrapped up but boy was I wrong. The ending to this series is possibly one of the most perfectly ended stories I have ever read. But will Vanessa be able to aquire the box without the help of her three Gods? Will her God’s finally face their mothers? If they do will there be consequences for them and for Vanessa? You’ll have to read the book to find out for yourself.

This was an enjoyable read from start to finish. This book included strong female characters, shape shifting, drama, and great character development. When I first saw this cover and read the synopsis I knew right away that I had to pick up this shape shifting adventure. While all of the characters where fantastic I really loved the drama and intensity that Cheyenne brought to this story and when the author brought Lane in the intensity between the two increased ten fold. While there is intensity, and drama between the two characters there is also romance, and such terrific character development that they really felt like a real life couple. But will Lane and Cheyenne get their happy ending? Will Cheyenne’s trama keep her heart sealed off? Can Cheyenne learn to trust and love her mate?
