IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3) Anthology – Review by Jennifer Gordon

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“Celebrate the season of love”. These romantic stories range from fun and flirty to semi-sweet and suspenseful. I enjoyed all the stories in this anthology and was introduced to some new authors as well as some old favourites. I particularly liked ‘Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance’ by Tamara Ferguson, Eve Loughlin and Harry Giordano are teenage survivors and are drawn to each other from the first time they meet. The chemistry between Eve and Harry sizzled off the page. I fell in love with the characters and liked how they had overcome obstacles and survived. Sadly their careers separated them but the love they shared was strong, can they find their way back to their hearts? Although the story touches on some sensitive issues it is all about love and hope and does have a HEA. No spoilers, I recommend the story to find out.
The other story which stood out was by Jacquie Biggar, ‘The Player’, this is book 2 of Biggar’s, ‘ Men of Warhawkes’ series about a successful NHL Hockey team. Defenceman Roy Donaldson lives and breathes hockey so when an ex girlfriend turned stalker causes trouble for the team he is not happy. He’s even less impressed when he gets benched and so turns to PA Patience Kennedy for help. In order for Patience to receive a junior partnership she must restore Roy’s reputation, however she thinks Roy is moody and annoying, oh, and very attractive. Roy thinks Patience is sexy but sassy. The chemistry between them shows from their first meeting and grows each time they are together resulting in some steamy scenes. I loved the characters and the storyline flowed nicely.
‘A Little Change of Plans’ by Suzanne Jenkins had lovely characters and a great storyline, Jake falls in love at first sight when he meets rookie firefighter Geri. ‘All Night Long’ by Cynthia Cooke had a unique storyline featuring a Valentine’s party, a fake engagement and a St. Bernard coming to the rescue on a snowy mountain, ending in romance. Susan Jean Ricci’s ‘First Class Flirtation’ features two strangers during a cross-country flight and a argument which leads to a passionate infatuation. I could go on as I enjoyed all the stories as each one was so different and unique it made this anthology as a whole a fascinating read and gave me hours of entertainment reading the stories. I definitely recommend this book.

This anthology series offers the reader eight beautiful and steamy stories. These stories will be fun, charming, flirty and grips the reader. In this witty, whimsical page-turner, it’s filled with wonderful characters. It’s so romantic and some may be tear jerking stories. These stories are original and steamy scenes that’ll peak your interest. Inspirational and unpredictable, this book will have you encouraged and motivated all at the same time.
In the first story, we meet two characters drifted apart by the raptures of their lives trials and tribulations. The second story follows the next two characters as they attempt to break down walls and one invites the other in. The third is about a love at first sight story between two other characters.
Follow this book as you explore each story in delight as love unfolds in each. This book is like a short film where the characters are all connected but not really connected. This book will have you believing in love and romance all over again.

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Two hearts reconnaissance was a great read. And I loved how after everything Harry and Eve had been through in their lives that they were able to find themselves and each other throughout this book. Amy and Issy were so adorable. The relationship between Harry and Eve was amazing with their connection and the hardships they had to face over the years. I couldn’t picture what happened to them happening to me or my siblings but I loved this so much. And it’s all thanks to Tamara Ferguson. I can’t wait to read more.

The Player was a short book/story that I thought would be the same old story of a girl seeing a really cute hockey player then dating but after getting further into it, I loved it. It involved around the world of a hockey player his PR person and a stalker. Roy and Patience are gonna be a great couple and the connection that had from the start, ooo. But overall great read. Can’t wait to read more by Jacquie Biggar.

I’m going to continue through the rest of this book and see how many more great stories are within.

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3) this is one of my favorite ways to find new to me authors. I love when they come together and share their love of writing for us readers. Each of these stories brings something unique to the collection I found myself completely lost in each individual story world the authors created. Each one has something different to offer readers and as a whole they all had me completely hooked. The characters are complex and relatable and each storyline is incredible. I love when I can read several short stories that still pack a punch. Each author did a wonderful job of writing stories involving romance and all that we enjoy about it. I did have a few favorites such as Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance, The Player and Unexpected Packages each of these stories captured a piece of my heart. That’s not to ignore all the other great stories because I truly loved each one for different reasons. I’m giving this set a big five star review and highly recommend it. And I can’t wait to find more from these authors. Thank you for coming together for this set!

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible Valentine was a great 5 start compilation of nine Valentine Romance stories and the third installment in the Irresistible Romance series.

Two Hearts Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson is about Eve and Harry. We get another great story written around Crystal Rock where these two grew up together. We go past to present as we get the back story. Can these two find their love again now that they are back in Crystal Rock?

The Player by Jacquie Biggar tells Roy’s story. Roy is a hockey player that has someone stalking him and causing bad PR for him. Patience is introduced into the story as a PR person, she is hired to help Roy. As these two spend more time together the closer they become. Will these two end up together and get a HEA? I would love more from these two.

Overall I really enjoyed all of the stories in the series. I was introduced to a couple of new authors and plan to read more from them. This collection has something for everyone to enjoy. You can read a story here and there without having to commit to reading the whole book in one sitting. Thank you to all the great authors for all the stories, I suggest 1-clicking and getting started today.

Irresistible Valentine (Irresistible Romance Book 3). This is an anthology written by nine amazing authors!! I love these types of books!! You get to enjoy different stories and have a chance to find new authors. Two of my favorite books in this anthology were:

And that is just what Eve and Harry’s book is. This was an emotional story, very good friends, lose touch and years later find their way back to each other. You can’t help but hope for Eve and Harry to find their happiness.

The Player by Jaquie Biggar. I love sports romance stories, so this one was right up my alley. A sexy, hockey player, a crazy, ex-girlfriend and a PR agent….. will his career be saved or will the ex get her way? This one is sure to keep you interested.

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible Valentine filled with five-star reads. I love Anthology’s like these as they bring so many great authors together, so you can read old favourites and then find new authors as well. Each story will show you something to make you smile, each one brings something special to the collection. My favourite’s are Tamara Ferguson with Two Hearts Reconnaissance and I adore this one as even though its teenagers, I remember what that was like, she shows us expertly how you fear life will end if you don’t see the other part of your soul immediately. Alicia Street with Never Lovers, a great story with a fabulous twist that will keep you on your toes and then finally Jacquie Bigger who brings us The Player and this one, well this one had that extra special sauce to it and just had a little extra sparkle as it involves a player in more ways than one. If you are in the mood for some great reads then pick this collection up.

This is a wonderful anthology full of great stories by amazing authors. Each of these stories give you something different from sweet romance to suspenseful romance, there is something for everyone in this collection. One of my favorite stories is Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson. I was captivated by this story. Harry and Eve met as teenagers and these two had already been put through so much that all I wanted for them is to be happy. This story had me on an emotional rollercoaster. To find out if these two can find their way back to each other after their careers took them on different paths. then this is a must read.

The Player by Jacquie Biggar is another one of my favorites. As a professional hockey player Roy was used to having his pick of women, but then one of those women turns into a stalker. I only read two stories out of this anthology, Irresistible Valentine, and they were Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson and The Player by Jacquie Biggar. I was completely blown away by Ferguson’s short story! It was very emotional and dramatic and left you wanting a lot more than what you got! It was very fast paced as well, and super sweet. The Player was amazing as well! I loved the drama, and the chemistry, and I even laughed a little as well! Both of these stories were extremely well written, with some very dramatic occurrences that I wasn’t expecting at all from a romance anthology. I highly recommend this, both stories I read were absolutely incredible!

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My two favorite stories are by Tamara Ferguson and Jacquie Biggar

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance: Tamara Ferguson

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson is one of my favorite stories in this anthology. Ferguson wrote about a teenage couple Eve and Harry. They became close friends and it grew into a loving relationship. Now they had to split ways because they had different careers. Do you remember your high school sweetheart? Can you think about parting ways only to find your way back to them? Will Eve and Harry be able to rekindle their story? This story has a roller coaster ride of emotions. Enjoy Eve and Harry and their special story.

The Player by Jacquie Biggar

This love story is about Roy and Patience. Roy is a NHL player and he had a stalker. Now he was not able to play because of them. There was PA Patience, who helped him with his PR. All Roy wants is to play hockey. There was something innocent about Patience that peaked Roy’s interest. Can there be romance in the PA Patience and NHL Roy? Will Roy allow himself to love Patience? This is a short story but it is well written and captured my attention throughout the whole story.

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible Valentine is pages and pages and hours upon hours of goodness aka it is the third instalment in the Irresistible Romance anthology series and is filled with Valentine stories by nine amazing writers – Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Jacquie Bigger, Stacy Eaton, Susan Jean Ricci and Patrice Wilton. I love anthologies as they give you a sample of multiple writers so it is a great way of discovering new writers! This is how I had already found quite a few of the writers who contributed to this anthology.
I will share my review for Tamara Ferguson’s Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance – she is my absolute favorite writer out of all nine writers here! I think I have read every single story she has written and I have not encountered anything that I would not love! Two Hearts’’ Reconnaissance is part of her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior romance series and it is the 13th!!!!!! instalment! (can you just imagine all the goodness you have to look forward to if this is your first encounter with her!) As you can imagine from the title of the series then the stories have a very serious subject matter but I promise you, they are filled with hope and we always get our happy ending!
Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance gives us Eva Loughlin and Harry Giordano who has survived a lot! (Have a box of tissues at hand! You will need it from the start!) There is this amazing connection between them since the moment they met when they were just kids! Life takes them into different directions and as it is with living, there are ups and downs and thorough it all we keep our fingers crossed for a chance for them to find a way back to each other! I also loved learning more about some of the characters that I have read about in the other stories.
There were three writers in the anthology that were new for me and it was Jacquie Biggar’s story the Player that took the cherry! I love sports stories (especially hockey ones) and Jacquie gives us Roy who gets sidelined from NHL thanks to his stalker ex so he ends up needing some little help from a PA Patience … so you can imagine the good laughs and antics and aww moments she mixed up for us and to be frank, I think the story would have deserved to be longer! I for sure will keep my eyes open for more by Jacquie!

Yet again another wonderful anthology filled with some amazing stories! I think I have read something by all of these authors previously so it was great to read their work again! I love anthologies as they always have a little bit of something for everyone in them, all different but full of wonderful romance!

Two Hearts Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson
I loved this story! Tamara Ferguson is one of my favourite authors and I have read almost every single one of her books. Eve and Harry’s story was a great read about second chance romance, close friends who lost touch and found their way back to each other. The story was quite emotional at times and as always the author made me feel like I was right there with the characters. With both characters having had such hard childhoods I was rooting for them to both find their happily ever after the hole way through!

The Player by Jacquie Biggar
I’ve read work by Jacquie Biggar before and I love her writing style, I am easily transported in to her story and the lives of her characters. This story definitely had me laughing my way through it! The banter between Roy and Patience certainly kept me entertained from beginning to end; they definitely knew how to rub each other up the wrong way!!

Along with these two stories were some other really great reads and this anthology is definitely one that I would recommend!

Irresistible Valentine is the third instalment in the Irresistible Romance Anthology series. It is a fantastic collection of stories from nine very talented, best-selling, and award-winning authors. The stories were so romantic and very enjoyable- each one individual to its author- but all revolve around the same theme- which is “Irresistible Valentine”- celebrating everything we love about romance. The stories range from delightful and sweet, to spicy and suspenseful.
With plenty to capture and hold your attention, the stories are:

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance By: Tamara Ferguson
Meet Eve Loughlin and Harry Giordano who have both overcome adversity. These two have a connection that cemented from the moment they met. But life takes them in different directions, tearing them apart. Will love find a way to bring them back together again? Tamara Ferguson delivers yet another wonderful story- packing a lot into a small package and delivering a romantic and captivating read.

Cupid’s Quest (Paradise Place) By: Natalie Ann
Two damaged souls finding each other. She’s walked away from her past and built a life for herself, becoming a successful realtor. His past experience brought him so much heartache, grief, fear, and loneliness- which inevitably led him to becoming a police investigator. What happens when she becomes his realtor? This is well worth the read to find out! Will Cupid find a way to their hearts? Such a great read and definitely one of my favourites of this collection.

A Little Change of Plans (The Saints of San Diego) By: Suzanne Jenkins
I love the Saint’s, so getting to read another story in the series is always a winner in my eyes. This follows second youngest brother, Jake Saint- and I loved following along for the ride. He and Geri were so great together- and the clever way Ms. Jenkins wove her story certainly had me hook, line and sinker! Sublime!

All Night Long (Kiss the Bride Book 2) By: Cynthia Cooke
A wonderful ‘fake fiancé’ romance, with lots of snow, a picturesque ski village, a loveable Saint Bernard, a snowy rescue, and plenty of fun- making this a memorable read. Beau hatches a plan to secure his future- he just needs a ‘fiancée’ to seal the deal- and he think Phoebe is just the right girl to pull it off. A funny, light-hearted, and engaging story. So much fun to read.

Never Lovers (The Rocklyns) By: Alicia Street
A bit of a “Runaway Bride” vibe to this story- with a bit of a twist. Emotive and very romantic- true love always finds a way! A great little read!

The Player (Men of Warhawks Book 2) By: Jacquie Biggar
This is about finding love unexpectedly. When a crazy, stalker ex gets Roy sidelined from his beloved NHL- the only way to get back in the game is to allow sexy PA, Patience Kennedy, to help. With her PR know-how she’ll have him back in the game in no time. Right? I really loved this story- and would have loved an even longer version of it, so I could really immerse myself in the story. I can always count on Ms. Biggar to deliver the goods!

Unexpected Packages (The Unexpected Series Book 1) By: Stacy Eaton
After a parcel mix up brings Alex to Lexi’s doorstep- things are about to get interesting! This one snuck under my skin much more than I had anticipated. I loved how well this was written, and the wonderful ‘feel-good’ vibe that I got from the story. The characters were very endearing- and I would love to read more of their story

First Class Flirtation By: Susan Jean Ricci
Melissa had been looking forward to having some extra room on her first class flight. But her plans go awry when she’s forced to share her seats with a complete stranger, a grouchy one at that. But it doesn’t take long for chemistry to bubble, and sparks fly. But things are about to get quite complicated- what does the future hold for these two? Will love find a way?

Serendipity Falls By: Patrice Wilton
This is the first book in a new romantic comedy series- and if this story is anything to go by, the series is set to be great! What happens when a pastry chef and an Olympic Skier connect in the romantic, small town of Serendipity? You really should read this enjoyable story and find out for yourself! It’s well worth your time!

Thank you to all the contributing authors!

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Irresistible Valentine is a great anthology of 8 romantic stories from 9 different authors. I am not going to review all 8 stories but have chosen 2 to focus on. My review will be of Two Hearts Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson and The Player by Jacquie Biggar. Both are authors that I have read before and these were the 2 stories that I was most looking forward to reading.
Two Hearts Reconnaissance is set in Dragonfly Pointe, the location of many other novels by Tamara Ferguson and brings back some characters from other stories.
This was a heartbreaking story which explores child abuse and child trafficking. I was totally gripped to the story of Harry Giordano and Eve Loughlin both of whom have had terrible childhoods in various foster homes. Eve has now reconciled with her birth mother and Harry (and his foster sister Amy) have been taken in by Gabe and Lucy Giordano.
This story takes you from their first meeting at age 13 to them meeting again as adults and a lot in between. Although not a full length novel, Tamara Ferguson packs so much into this story.
The Player by Jacquie Biggar is set in the ice hockey world. Star player Roy is being hounded by a crazy ex-girlfriend who is spreading lies about him and it’s affecting his career. Enter PR woman Patience who is hired to improve his public persona.
This is a great story which will have you laughing at the antics of Roy and Patience. Roy does everything he can to annoy and rile Patience and she just falls into his trap everytime. Can she help fix his career or will the crazy ex get her way?

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE is a sweet and fun romance anthology from so many wonderful authors you really can’t go wrong! I have loved reading several of these ladies for quite some time but and delighted that I have also had the chance to discover a few new ones to love. I mainly scooped this up for the Two Hearts inclusion from Tamara Ferguson so that will be my in depth review below but the others were just as fabulous to read and I look forward to finishing out the last few novels included soon! Anthologies always make the season going on around me that much more special and often make great gifts. I found myself enamored enough to gift a few of these this love season of Valentines. Hope you find some love as you read as well!

Two Hearts Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson is a sweet additon to her Two Hearts series that I have long loved now. This one brings us back to Crystal Rock and tells the story of Eve and Harry. Life and time has seperated these you loves but now the present brings them home and gives them a much needed second chance at love. Will they find the happily ever after they so desire?

Irresistible Valentine anthology is a collection of works by some fantastic authors. I have read all of these authors previously and could not wait to get my hands on these stories.
I really enjoyed how these books were all different from each other. They had the same feel and yet there was never a risk of them all “becoming one” as I often find is the issue with anthologies. Each authors voice was distinctive and easy to hear.
The stories were all varied but well developed. There isn’t one that I didn’t like.
This is a great anthology and one that I would recommend.

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3) Anthology – Review by Jenni Bishop

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3)IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE by Tamara Ferguson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

IRRESISTIBLE VALENTINE (Irresistible Romance Book 3) is an anthology of valentine romance stories by nine top authors Tamara Ferguson, Natalie Ann, Suzanne Jenkins, Cynthia Cooke, Alicia Street, Jacquie Biggar, Stacy Eaton, Susan Jean Ricci and Patrice Wilton. Each story is about unsuspecting couples that meet and fall in love some in the most unlikeliest circumstances.

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance: Tamara Ferguson, is a wonderful story where teenagers Eve and Harry meet at Crystal Rock and grow up together but when they follow their hearts passions, they end up losing each other. Will the magic continue in the place they met? Tamara never lets me down with her stories and this one is just as good as all the others.

Cupid’s Quest: Natalie Ann, is the tale of two damaged souls from their pasts that come together through a common goal. Ruby has walls around her heart and doesn’t let anyone in easily. Josh is looking for a home he can make for his family, now he just has to convince her that they can be together. This is a captivating story and one of my favourites in this anthology.

A Little Change of Plans: Suzanne Jenkins, is a great story where Geri is new to the fire station and is driven for a career and will not let anyone stand in her way. All it took is one look and Jake was in love, now he needs to prove it to her.

All Night Long: Cynthia Cooke, is fun and had me laughing as I read about these wonderful characters. Phoebe wants to make her own way as a wedding planner and Beau just wants to keep the bar and hotel in the valley and make it his own. If only he could convince her to stay. A great story to get lost in.

Never Lovers: Alicia Street, is an emotional tale of two people torn apart by a tragedy. Now after many years apart they are forced to share accomodation when wanting to get away from their day to day life. Will true love find its way back to them? A good read.

The Player: Jacquie Biggar, is the story of Roy who made a bad decision in the female department and now it is affecting his game when this stalker won’t leave him alone. Patience who is a PR person and is hired to make Roy look good after a crazy ex tries to get him back but destroying his game in the process. What neither of them expect is the lengths she will go to and what they find with each other. I really enjoyed this story and would have loved more.

Unexpected Packages: Stacy Eaton, Lexi is mortified when a package is delivered to the wrong address and is then brought to her. What was once total annoyance turns into something more than they ever thought possible. All the feel goods came out with this one. I would actually like to see more of this couple.

First Class Flirtation: Susan Jean Ricci, Melissa is looking forward to the extra room she booked on her flight but an altercation changes things and now she is stuck with a grumpy stranger. However these two unlikely people soon learn they cannot live without each other but they may not get their happy ever after when tragedy strikes.

Serendipity Falls: Patrice Wilton, There is something in the water at this unsuspecting town in the snow, Devon doesn’t believe it and he loves his life being a one and done kind of guy but when Tara comes to town he finds she has something he can’t seem to stay away from. Cupid does love love now if only he could find it too. This is a nice and easy enjoyable read.

Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance
By Tamara Ferguson
5 out of 5 stars

I loved reading the story Two Hearts’ Reconnaissance by Tamara Ferguson. It one of my favorite stories in this anthology. I loved reading about the characters of Eve Loughlin and Harry Giordano. They met when they were teenagers. They were survivors and at first, there was a close friendship. Their feelings for each other was strong. They went separate ways because of their careers. What does the future hold for Eve and Harry? Will they find their way back to each other? Is their love for each other still strong? Read this story to find out. This story is emotion and mine were going up and down the entire time I was reading it. The book does deal with a serious subject matter however it also has Eve and Harry, with help from others, overcomes their past. I grew to care about what happened to Eve and Harry and wanted them to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about many of the other characters that are in the story and how they interact with Eve and Harry. This is a story that you don’t want to miss out on reading.

The Player
By Jacquie Biggar
5 out of 5 stars

I enjoyed reading the story The Player by Jacquie Biggar. It is a story that had me laughing at times and then there are moments where you want to say “Aww.” I loved the two main characters. From the back and forth bantering to the feelings of romance that was totally unexpected. There are moments that you wonder what is going to happen next. I grew to care about what happened to the characters and wanted them to be happy. The story flowed smoothly and I found myself not wanting it to end. The author does an amazing job of making a story that is both romantic and entertaining. It is a story that you don’t want to miss out on reading.

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) Anthology – Review by Robin Rankin

Love, Christmas - Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2)Love, Christmas – Movies You Love by Mimi Barbour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2 is an amazing collection of short stories by various authors including Tamara Ferguson, Suzanne Jenkins and Natalie Ann. I enjoyed each of the the stories I read but decided to spotlight a few by authors that are new to me.

A Royal White Christmas by Leanne Banks

Holly’s life is already in chaos, she is helping run her brothers farm. She meets the handsome stranger thanks to Brandi the Beagle.

I’m a sucker for any story that features a dog, but I’m partial to dogs that remind me of dogs I know and Brandi reminded me of my sister in laws dog Westley. Always getting into some and escaping. Very sweet ending.

Miracle on Christmas Tree Street by Alicia Street

Hannah and her daughter Abbie are starting a new life by running her Aunt’s Bed and Breakfast. After she gets there she finds all sorts of unusual little things happening all of which lead to a Christmas miracle and a happy ending.

The Holiday (Christmas) by Nancy Radke

Jodie is spending the holidays in one of the most beautiful places I have had the pleasure of going to, Hawaii. She is trying to escape a lot but has no clue what she’s going to find when she gets there.

This was another great story with a happy ending.

If you’re looking for great short stories to start getting you into the Christmas spirit then I would suggest you start reading now.

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) Anthology – Review by Michelle Austin

Love, Christmas - Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2)Love, Christmas – Movies You Love by Mimi Barbour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love, Christmas – Movies you love was a great 5 star read.
I loved this book and the 26 stories within the pages.

These are all new romance stories from so many great authors. Some were new authors for me and there were favorites as well. I love the twist on holiday movies with these stories, my emotions were all over the place with each of them. You can take your time and read a story here and there or sit and read them all at once. They range from second chance romance to historical romance and so much more.

A Wonderful life was an emotional read for me. Noel is about to make a drastic decision, he has too many people that will be impacted by his choice and his guardian angel couldn’t let him follow through with it. Than he meets Mary and things change for him. He was saved to help Mary and protect her. Will they get a HEA?

I was a mess reading Finding Love. When Lucy goes to her father’s cabin for Christmas. Lucy lost her father to a plane crash and being at the cabin makes her feel close to him. Then she meets Maverick the next door neighbor. Maverick feels like he’s known Lucy from all the stories her father shared with him. These two end up having sparks between them and develop some feelings. Will they have a HEA?

A Christmas Getaway pulled me right in and brought me to tears once again. Ryder goes on a ski trip to sulk in booze and get away. When he gets to the cabin he discovers it was double booked to Olivia and her son. He wasn’t happy about the situation. We learn as we move forward some of Ryder’s history, have the kleenex ready.

There are so many more great stories and I highly recommend you 1-click and get reading. I look forward to reading more from all of these authors. What a great way to get in the holiday mood.

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) Anthology – Review by Shannon Fowler

Love, Christmas - Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2)Love, Christmas – Movies You Love by Mimi Barbour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love, Christmas is a mix of 26 magical stories, that happen to revolve around Christmas time. Each story is well written with characters just wanting a little Christmas love.

Tamara Ferguson has captured my heart with Two Hearts Home for Christmas. This story is part of her Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series. It is book 9. This story is about Nancy and John, who find each other when they are just seniors in high school. Each planned to enlist in the military. Of course, they couldn’t enlist in the same branch, that would be too easy and not what the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior series is all about. After several years apart Nancy and John are hoping to find each other again. They must meet back at DragonFly Pointe in hopes that a little Christmas magic has kept their love alive.

Can She Get Home for Christmas? is written by Rebecca York. This is my first story by York and I can not wait to read more. She too captured my heart with her story of Samantha and Jax. Jax is keeping secrets and I hope Sam can handle them when she finds out. They certainly have a little mystery unfolding in their lives. I look forward to reading about what happens to them because this story is not finished!

Each story brings you something different but just like the movies they are written like, you get an enjoyable story with new characters and adventures. I suggest you get this anthology as it is full of stories that will touch your heart.

Love Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) Anthology – Review by Sheri Schrader

Love, Christmas - Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2)Love, Christmas – Movies You Love by Mimi Barbour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love, Christmas-Movies You Love is the second book in The Holiday Series. This is an anthology that the stories are inspired by Christmas movies. Each of the stories are on average 8-10 chapters and read quickly. The first story in the book caught my eye immediately being inspired by “It’s a Wonderful Life”. “A Wonderful Life” by Mimi Barbour is a sweet, heartwarming story where Clarence comes back to help Bedford Falls. I enjoyed this story because it kept the wholesome sweetness the movie had going. I also enjoyed the story “The Holiday” by Nancy Radke. I am still working my way through the anthology and will give myself a little Christmas treat here and there to get myself in the holiday mood. This is a fun collection and if you like Christmas movies you will enjoy this fun treat of many stories to choose from.

Love, Christmas-Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) Anthology – Review by Erica Fish

Love, Christmas - Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2)Love, Christmas – Movies You Love by Mimi Barbour
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This anthology Love, Christmas-Movies You Love is a collections of Christmas stories. These stories are based on Christmas movies with twists. The stories are not in a series and can be stand-alone books. This is a fun collection you can enjoy reading the stories that stand out to you and then go back and read the other stories. One thing that I really enjoyed was the variety of stories. There weren’t only romance theme stories, but family theme stories as well. I recommend this anthology especially if you like Christmas Movies told with a different twist.

Love Letter from a Snowman by Katy Walters
This story caught my eye right away because I love snowmen and what better than a love letter from one. This story does pull on your heart strings. Tabitha has been hired to be a nanny to a very sick child. Lord Owen Balfour Viscount of Thurleigh is trying to keep his little boy with him as his mother had left the two of them. Tabitha is trying to get that reality for Lord Owen. She was searching for some kind of special holiday goodness as the young boy is not doing well. In comes magic and Tabitha finds children’s book about a snowman. While Lord Owen’s son feels a connection with the snowman, Tabitha and Lord Owen are finding a connection with each other. Will Lord Owen and Tabitha relationship grow? Will the young boy’s health turn around? These are questions that will answered and more in this beautiful story.

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) Anthology – Review by Elizabeth Sanchez

Love, Christmas - Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2)Love, Christmas – Movies You Love by Mimi Barbour
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Love, Christmas – Movies You Love (The Holiday Series Book 2) is a great collection of love stories focused around Christmas. I haven’t gotten to them all yet, but it seems to be a good mix, something for everyone. Each story is inspired by the author’s favorite Christmas movie, which is a fun twist. Most of the stories seem to be short stories, but there are a few longer ones, that are possibly full length. I will do a review on a couple of the stories I’ve read, and plan to cuddle up on the couch with a blanket over the next month finishing the others.
A Royal White Christmas by Leanne Banks is one of the shorter stories, but it was cute. It tells the story of two unlikely people falling in love in a small town. Holly has traveled back home to watch over her brother’s farm while he is deployed. She has been living in New York City, and is way out of her element. Finding herself in snow storms, while looking for her brother’s dog, as well as milking goats. A nearby visiting neighbor, Brice, comes to her rescue more than once. During these short, but frequent encounters, they develop feelings for each other, and things quickly take off. The biggest bump in the road is Brice being the heir to the crown.
Suzanne Jenkin’s Christmas with the Clouds is not what I expected. The story starts out very heavy, with the main character,Tracy’s husband dying. She finds herself leaning on her patient for support, and making a best friend out of the ordeal. During her healing process, she relies on her in-laws, and new best friend. An unexpected visitor at Christmas, leads Tracy to find love in the most unexpected place of all. Great turn around from the start of the story, and enjoyable to read. I love happy endings!
In the spirit of Christmas by Alyssa Bailey is about Tara returning home after a bad breakup. Before even making it into town, she gets a flat tire, and in rides Chase, a knight in shining armor…or rather sexy sheriff in uniform, to save the day. She is in for a big surprise, when she gets home and sees that same sexy sheriff in her dad’s living room! Cute story, and I loved the writing. I will be seeking out more of Alyssa Bailey in the future.
